101. Research on Improving the Performance of Emulsified Asphalt Modifiers

- Abstract
To prepare the emulsifier-modified bitumen for scrap semi-rigid base layer of material recovered depth study, emulsified asphalt was chosen as the research object, starting from an improved method for the performance of modified asphalt emulsion as an observation point. It analyzed the influence of different emulsifiers on asphalt performance under different experimental conditions, revealing the link between performance-related factors and the asphalt emulsion. This paper analyzed the formation mechanism of emulsified asphalt and related factors in the preparation of emulsified asphalt and studied the related performance inspection methods. The best comprehensive conditions for the preparation of emulsified asphalt were determined, such as the best emulsifier and material blending ratio. The related performance was also verified. These results had practical significance for the research on the improved preparation and performance of emulsifiers for composite regeneration of the base layer. It could also save a lot of new mineral aggregate and reduce the damage to the natural environment from ore mining. To provide a reference for using emulsified asphalt in related asphalt regeneration fields.
