We constrain the magma sources of representative post‐collisional ore‐associated and barren suites in the Sanjiang metallogenic belt, Southwest China. The ore‐associated suites generally have higher Mg# and Cr and Ni contents than the crustal melts. Also, they show wide ranges of whole‐rock Nd and zircon Hf isotopes that are similar to the subduction‐modified mantle‐derived alkaline volcanic rocks in the region. Combing with the geochemical model, we suggest that the ore‐associated suites dominantly originated from partial melts of subduction‐metasomatised mantle by fractional crystallisation. In contrast, the barren suites are mainly characterised by low Mg# and Cr and Ni contents that are comparable to the crustal melts and they have enriched whole‐rock Nd and zircon Hf isotopes, indicating a metasomatised lower crustal origin. The different magma sources play an important role in controlling the fertility of contemporary ore‐associated and barren magmatic suites during post‐collisional porphyry ore formation. In this paper, a modified submodule (MSM) method is proposed to reduce capacitor voltage fluctuation by integrating a bidirectional buck‐boost type active power decoupling (APD) circuit into each SM for the low‐frequency operation of a converter system. The capacitor voltage fluctuation of the proposed MSM‐MMC can be significantly reduced compared to conventional SMs with the same capacitance by transferring the low‐frequency ripple power components to the auxiliary energy storage capacitor, resulting in a lower voltage fluctuation of the main capacitor in the SM, which requires a lower total SM capacitance. Additionally, a closed‐loop controller is proposed to control the APD capacitor voltages by inheriting the advantages of the repetitive controller and proportional‐integral (PI) controller to enhance the performance of SM capacitor voltage ripple suppression. The method can improve the start‐up performance of medium voltage drives without injecting high‐frequency components, which can avoid the common‐mode voltage imposed on the AC side of the system. The operating principle, auxiliary capacitor voltage control, and capacitor voltage ripple suppression control of the proposed MSM‐MMC method are analyzed in detail. The feasibility of the proposed method has been confirmed by simulation results based on case studies using MATLAB/SIMULINK software and further verified with hardware‐in‐the‐loop simulation (HILS) using the real‐time simulator OPAL‐RT platform. The emergence of cancer resistance to targeted therapy represents a significant challenge in cancer treatment. Therefore, identifying new anticancer candidates, particularly those addressing oncogenic mutants, is an urgent medical demand. A campaign of structural modifications has been conducted to further optimize our previously reported 2-anilinoquinoline-diarylamides conjugate VII as a B-RAFV600E/C-RAF inhibitor. Considering the incorporation of a methylene bridge between the terminal phenyl and cyclic diamine, focused quinoline-based arylamides have been tailored, synthesized, and biologically evaluated. Among them, the 5/6-hydroxyquinolines 17b and 18a stood out as the most potent members, with IC50 values of 0.128 µM, 0.114 µM against B-RAFV600E, and 0.0653 µM, 0.0676 µM against C-RAF. Most importantly, 17b elicited remarkable inhibitory potency against the clinically resistant B-RAFV600K mutant with an IC50 value of 0.0616 µM. The putative binding mode of 17b and 18a were studied by molecular docking and molecular dynamics (MD). Moreover, the antiproliferative activity of all target compounds has been examined over a panel of NCI-60 human cancer cell lines. In agreement with cell-free assays, the designed compounds exerted superior anticancer impact over the lead quinoline VII against all cell lines at a 10 µM dose. Notably, both 17b and 18b showed highly potent antiproliferative activity against melanoma cell lines with growth percent under −90% (SK-MEL-29, SK-MEL-5, and UACC-62) at a single dose, while 17b maintained potency with GI50 values of 1.60–1.89 µM against melanoma cell lines. Taken together, 17b, a promising B-RAFV600E/V600K and C-RAF kinase inhibitor, may serve as a valuable candidate in the arsenal of anticancer chemotherapeutics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The behavior of the platinum group elements (PGE) and Re in felsic magmas is poorly understood due to scarcity of data. We report the concentrations of Ni, Cu, Re, and PGE in the compositionally diverse Boggy Plain zoned pluton (BPZP), which shows a variation of rock type from gabbro through granodiorite and granite to aplite with a Si[O.sub.2] range from 52 to 74 wt %. In addition, major silicate and oxide minerals were analyzed for Ni, Cu, and Re, and a systematic sulfide study was carried out to investigate the role of silicate, oxide, and sulfide minerals on chalcophile element geochemistry of the BPZP. Mass balance calculation shows that the whole rock Cu budget hosted by silicate and oxide minerals is 70 wt %) is held in major silicate and oxide minerals. Rhenium is dominantly hosted by magnetite and ilmenite. Ovoid-shaped sulfide blebs occur at the boundary between pyroxene phenocrysts and neighboring interstitial phases or within interstitial minerals in the gabbro and the granodiorite. The blebs are composed of pyrrhotite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and S-bearing Fe-oxide, which contain total trace metals (Co, Ni, Cu, Ag, Pb) up to ~16 wt %. The mineral assemblage, occurrence, shape, and composition of the sulfide blebs are a typical of magmatic sulfide. PGE concentrations in the BPZP vary by more than two orders of magnitude from gabbro (2.7-7.8 ppb Pd, 0.025-0.116 ppb Ir) to aplite (0.05 ppb Pd, 0.001 ppb Ir). Nickel, Cu, Re, and PGE concentrations are positively correlated with MgO in all the rock types although there is a clear discontinuity between the granodiorite and the granite in the trends for Ni, Rh, and Ir when plotted against MgO. Cu/Pd values gradually increase from 6,100 to 52,600 as the MgO content decreases. The sulfide petrology and chalcophile element geochemistry of the BPZP show that sulfide saturation occurred in the late gabbroic stage of magma differentiation. Segregation and distribution of these sulfide blebs controlled Cu and PGE variations within the BPZP rocks although the magma of each rock type may have experienced a different magma evolution history in terms of crustal assimilation and crystal fractionation. The sulfide melt locked in the cumulate rocks must have sequestered a significant portion of the chalcophile elements, which restricted the availability of these metals to magmatic-hydrothermal ore fluids. Therefore, we suggest that the roof rocks that overlay the BPZP were not prospective for magmatic-hydrothermal Cu, Au, or Cu-Au deposits.
