Has successfully created an optimum composite of rPP/DVB/PP-AA/comBen+ZB based on the mechanical and fuel resistance properties. The starting material recycled PP (rPP), PP modified acrylic acid (AA) as coupling agent (PP-AA), crosslinker divinylbenzene (DVB), 20 phr of commercial bentonite (comBen) and 5 phr of zinc borate (ZB), was reactivelly processed in xylene. Composites analysis using XRD presented that the bentonite had been exfoliated inside of PP matrix. Test results showed that both of tensile strength (TS) and young's modulus (YM) of rPP/DVB/PP-AA/comBen+ZB composites following ASTM D638 was increased. The testing results of burning rate (BR) of composite rPP/DVB/PP-AA/comBen+ZB according to ASTM D635 decreased. The presence of bentonite as a natural fire retardant and ZB as fire retardant additive on composite rPP/DVB/PP-AA/comBen+ZB able to increase mechanical properties and also improving the flammability resistance.

Nitrogen ions were implanted into silicon single crystal wafers followed by thermal annealing and anodization to form porous Si3N4 /Si composite. Using this porous Si3N4/Si composite films we have successfully fabricated a surface type humidity sensor. Experimental results show that its capacitance increases with the sensitivity of 33.5 pF/% RH in ambient humidity from 11.3% RH to 93.58% RH. The sensor has less hysteresis than ordinary porous Si sensor. The measured response time and hysteresis was 27 s and 7% RH respectively. Highly monodispersed magnetite nanoparticles (MNPs) were successfully prepared by means of a sonochemistry-assisted co-precipitation method in the presence of L-serine (L-ser). In order to understand the effect of the L-serine on the development of nanoparticles, various concentrations (0, 1, 3 and 5 mmol) of L-ser were employed. In this study, a conventional co-precipitation method was also performed to prepare MNPs (denoted as MNP-1) as a comparison. The MNPs prepared via sonochemistry-assisted co-precipitation method (MNP-2) have better crystallinity and morphological uniformity than MNP-1, which were observed by XRD and TEM measurements, respectively. Synergistically, the introduction of L-ser as a capping agent during the ultrasound irradiation significantly improved the particle size monodispersity and colloidal stability of MNP-2. In addition, the magnetic sensitivity of MNP-2 (Ms= 57.12 emu g?1) was not altered significantly even with the addition of 5 mmol of L-ser (Ms= 48.34 emu g?1). This investigation shows that the L-ser acts not only as a capping agent to improve the colloidal stability of nanoparticles but also as a particle size controlling agent.

The research intends to create an application which is able to analyse sales data in a motorcycle company to predict the types of spare parts which should be stocked. This prediction is crucial since problems are often encountered while restocking. For instance, when there have been some imprecisions occurring in deciding regarding the types of spare parts to restock, the spare parts accumulate. It can cause inefficiency in terms of storage, the products quality deteriorates due to having been stored for too long, and sometimes the best-selling products are not available in the warehouse. This application is developed with Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) method which has a high accuracy in predicting future occurrences. This method works by calculating the probability value in each attribute class and determining the optimal probability value. From the test results, 4500 training data with 200 sample test data has 90% similarity with the results of the restock decision without application. For 500 test data, the similarity was 96%. It is proven that this method has a high accuracy so that it can help the decision makers solved the company problem in predicting the types of motorcycle parts to be restocked.

Quenching is performed as part of steel heat-treatment to enhance mechanical properties, by rapid cooling. Factors that affect the selection of quench medium are hardenability of material, geometry, and dimensions of the component. In recent developments, nanofluids are used to improve heat transfer capacity. In this research, nanofluids were synthesized using the two-step method. Milling of particles was done using a high energy ball mill for 15 hours at 500 rpm. Observation of particle size, material composition, and morphology of particle, and surface changes of the particle were measured by Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE- SEM), and Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDX). Water-based nanofluids with a volume of 100ml were produced using the two-step method, with carbon concentrations of 0.1%, and 0.5% and Sodium Dodecylbenzene Sulfonate concentrations of 0%, 1%, 3%, and 5%. Samples of S45C steels were austenized at 1000degC for 60 minutes. Hardness testing results correspond to the severity of the quenching mediums, with peak hardness of 845 HV for 0.1% Carbon with 1% SDBS, and 878 HV for 0.5% carbon with 3% SDBS. Hardness testing results show a significant improvement over results without SDBS addition. Excess surfactant addition yields a lower hardness due to the re-agglomeration of particles.

Most studies addressing the issue of financial reporting quality (FRQ) focus on corporations. This study investigates the determinants of FRQ in the public sector. We use the type of audit opinion as a proxy for reporting quality, with an unqualified opinion representing the best reporting quality while a disclaimer of opinion represents the worst quality. Using manually collected data from 3018 financial reports of local governments in Indonesia from 2008 to 2014, we find that a high proportion of capital expenditures in the total budget is associated with low FRQ. Further, we find that larger and wealthier local governments are associated with higher FRQ. Finally, we find that local governments under more experienced mayors have higher reporting quality. Our results are robust to different measures of FRQ. This study contributes to the reporting quality literature by providing empirical evidence on the determinants of FRQ in the public sector, which has been relatively underexplored. We conclude that certain characteristics of local governments and of mayors are associated with the types of audit opinion and that financial incentives accelerate the improvement of reporting quality.

A novel compound which have one N-H fragment and nitrophenyl group has been designed and synthesized from cinnamaldehyde. The reaction was conducted in 3 step reactions to give the final product. Firstly, cinnamaldehyde was converted into cinnamic acid, which was then esterified with methyl alcohol to obtained methyl cinnamate. The last step was the addition reaction between methyl cinnamate and 2-amino-4-nitrophenol to give a cinnamaldehyde derivative, namely methyl-3-(2-hidroksi-5-nitrophenyl amino)-3- phenylpropanoate.
