Corneal refractive surgery and intraocular collamer lens(ICL)implantation are the mainstream refractive surgery methods at present. Many studies have proved that ICL implantation can effectively improve the postoperative visual acuity of patients. ICL implantation has gained favor among refractive doctors and patients because of its multiple advantages. Excellent postoperative visual acuity and visual quality are the key factors to improve patients' satisfaction. In order to evaluate the subjective and objective visual quality of patients after operation and avoid complications, this article reviews the visual quality and postoperative complications after ICL implantation.

Abstract Background Parathyroidectomy (PTX), an effective treatment for refractory secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, still has a high persistent rate. This study aimed to analyze the predictive value of characteristics of resected parathyroid glands for postoperative persistent SHPT. Methods The clinical data of patients with persistent SHPT and successful PTX controls who had or underwent total parathyroidectomy with forearm autotransplantation (TPTX + AT) was retrospectively collected. The characteristics including the number, minimum weight, maximum weight and total weight of resected parathyroid glands from each patient were recorded. Characteristics and cutoff value of resected parathyroid glands for the prediction of persistent SHPT were analyzed. Results A total of 227 patients (62 persistent SHPT patients and 165 successful PTX controls) were enrolled in the study. Forty-one (66%) persistent SHPT cases related to supernumerary parathyroid and the remaining 21 (34%) cases related to residual undetected parathyroid. In addition, ectopic parathyroid was found in 8 patients (13%) before PTX. Objective To explore the clinicopathological features of anti-glomerular basement membrane (anti-GBM) glomerulonephritis (anti-GBM-GN) and the prognostic values of clinical and laboratory indicators at diagnosis on renal and patient survival.Methods A total of 76 patients (34 males and 42 females) with anti-GBM-GN who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between January 2010 and June 2021 were included in this study. The baseline clinical features, histopathological data from renal biopsies, and predictors of renal and patient survival were retrospectively analyzed.Results Among the 76 patients, the median serum creatinine at diagnosis was 618.0 (350.98, 888.25) μmol/L and the median estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was 6.62 (4.39, 14.41) mL/min. Of these 76 patients, 55 (72.4%) received initial kidney replacement therapy (KRT) and 39 (51.3%) received plasma exchange or double-filtered plasmapheresis (DFPP). During a median follow-up duration of 28.5 (6.0, 71.8) months, 53 (69.7%) patients progressed to kidney failure with replacement therapy (KFRT) and received maintenance dialysis. Initial KRT (HR = 3.48, 95% CI = 1.22–9.97, p = 0.020) was a significant risk factor for renal survival. During the follow-up, 49 (64.5%) of 76 patients survived. Age (≥60 years, HR = 4.13, 95% CI = 1.65–10.38, p = 0.003) and initial KRT (HR = 2.87, 95% CI = 1.01–8.14, p = 0.047) were predictive of patient survival.Conclusions Among patients with anti-GBM-GN, initial KRT at presentation was predictive of KFRT while older age and initial KRT were associated with higher all-cause mortality.

Ants are ecosystem engineers, and their nesting and foraging activities are critical to modifying soil structure. In this paper, the soil physical and mechanical properties of in situ subterranean ant nesting soil and non-ant nesting soil around the nest of the Iridomyrmex anceps were investigated so as to evaluate the effects of activities such as nest building and foraging on soil hydrologic and stability. The results showed that ant activity increased the content of organic matter, total nitrogen and phosphorus in the soil, and decreased soil pH. The activities of ants altered the soil structure. The density, specific gravity and saturation of subsurface ant nesting soil and non-ant nesting soil showed highly significant differences, while the moisture content, dry density, pore ratio and porosity showed significant differences. The soil mechanical property tests results showed that the ant activity increased the compressibility of the soil. The ant activity reduces the resistance of soil against relative movement under the action of external force, as well as the strength of soil against axial pressure under the condition of no lateral restraint, whereas the residual strength is increased. Under low confining pressure conditions, ant presence had no significant effect on the ultimate strength of soil. However, the ultimate strength of ant nest soil was significantly lower than that of non-ant nest soil under condition of high confining pressure. These findings unveil that ant activities positively affect the energy cycle and species diversity in ecosystems but significantly reduce soil mechanical properties and stability.

Background: Endothelial dysfunction, characterized by impaired flow-mediated vasodilation (FMD), is associated with atherosclerosis. However, the relationship between FMD, plaque morphology, and clinical outcomes in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) remains underexplored. This study aims to investigate the influence of FMD on the morphology of culprit plaques and subsequent clinical outcomes in patients with ACS. Methods: This study enrolled 426 of 2482 patients who presented with ACS and subsequently underwent both preintervention FMD and optical coherence tomography (OCT) between May 2020 and July 2022. Impaired FMD was defined as an FMD% less than 7.0%. Major adverse cardiac events (MACEs) included cardiac death, nonfatal myocardial infarction, revascularization, or rehospitalization for angina. Results: Within a one-year follow-up, 34 (8.0%) patients experienced MACEs. The median FMD% was 4.0 (interquartile range 2.6–7.0). Among the patients, 225 (52.8%) were diagnosed with plaque rupture (PR), 161 (37.8%) with plaque erosion (PE), and 25 (5.9%) with calcified nodules (CN). Impaired FMD was found to be associated with plaque rupture (odds ratio [OR] = 4.22, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 2.07–6.72, p = 0.012) after adjusting for potential confounding factors. Furthermore, impaired FMD was linked to an increased incidence of MACEs (hazard ratio [HR] = 3.12, 95% CI: 1.27–6.58, p = 0.039). Conclusions: Impaired FMD was observed in three quarters of ACS patients and can serve as a noninvasive predictor of plaque rupture and risk for future adverse cardiac outcomes.

The effect of potassium ferrate (PF) and straw fiber (SF) on the strength of cement-based solidified municipal sludge, including the influence of reducing the organic matter in the sludge on the efficiency of the hydration of the cement, was studied. Single-factor tests, orthogonal tests, and linear weighted optimization methods were used to obtain suitable ratios to meet practical requirements, and then SEM and XRD analyses were used to explore the solidification mechanism. The results showed that PF and SF had significant influence on the strength, with SF having the greatest influence and the strength increasing with the amount of both admixtures, and cement had no significant influence on the strength. After linear weighting optimization, the ideal dosage was found to be 20% cement, 20% PF, and 5% SF, which produced a solidified sludge that had an strength of 126.87 kPa, far higher than the 50 kPa required to qualify for disposal in landfills. Analysis of the mineral content and microstructure showed that PF and SF could promote cement hydration and produce more hydration products, and the density of the optimized sample was much higher than that of the raw sludge and a sludge sample mixed with 20% cement alone. HIGHLIGHTS Potassium ferrate and straw fibers synergistically enhanced the effect of cement-based solidification of municipal sludge and had significant influence.; Orthogonal tests were combined with linear weighted optimization to obtain the suitable ratio.; Potassium ferrate and straw fibers could reduce the influence of organic matter in municipal sludge on cement hydration efficiency and promote cement hydration reaction.;

Abstract Background To investigate the potential role of Long Non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the progression of osteosarcoma. Methods The candidate lncRNAs were screened with RNA-seq and confirmed with quantitative real-time PCR. Using MTS, transwell assay, and flow cytometric analysis, the effects of overexpressed lnc-SELPLG-2:1 on cell functions were determined. Immunohistochemical staining, fluorescence in situ hybridization, and luciferase reporter assay were used to evaluate the potential mechanism of lnc-SELPLG-2:1 in vivo and in vitro using a tumor model. Moreover, the effects of overexpression of hsa-miR-10a-5p on the functions of SaOS2 cells were determined using functional cell analysis. A response test was used to confirm the mechanism by which lnc-SELPLG-2:1 sponge hsa-miR-10a-5p promotes the expression of BTRC to regulate osteosarcoma. Results Lnc-SELPLG-2:1 was highly expressed in osteosarcoma compared to normal cells and bone and marrow samples. Inhibition of lnc-SELPLG-2:1 accelerated cell apoptosis and suppressed cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, whereas lnc-SELPLG-2:1 overexpression had the opposite effect. Moreover, inhibiting lnc-SELPLG-2:1 in an in vivo model decreased tumor size and suppressed the expression of cell migration-related proteins. The prediction, dual luciferase assay, and response test results indicated that hsa-miR-10-5p and BTRC were involved in the lnc-SELPLG-2:1 cascade. Unlike lnc-SELPLG-2:1, hsa-hsa-miR-10a-5p had opposite expression and function. Competitive binding of lnc-SELPLG-2:1 to hsa-hsa-miR-10a-5p prevented BTRC from miRNA-mediated degradation, thereby activating the expression of VIM, MMP9, and MMP2, promoting osteosarcoma cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, and inhibiting apoptosis. Conclusion Lnc-SELPLG-2:1 is an oncogenesis activator in osteosarcoma, and its functions are performed via hsa-miR-10a-5p /BTRC cascade.

BackgroundThe mirror neuron system (MNS) plays a key role in the neural mechanism underlying motor learning and neural plasticity. Action observation (AO), action execution (AE), and a combination of both, known as action imitation (AI), are the most commonly used rehabilitation strategies based on MNS. It is possible to enhance the cortical activation area and amplitude by combining traditional neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) with other top-down and active rehabilitation strategies based on the MNS theory.ObjectiveThis study aimed to explore the cortical activation patterns induced by NMES synchronized with rehabilitation strategies based on MNS, namely NMES+AO, NMES+AE, and NMES+AI. In addition, the study aimed to assess the feasibility of these three novel rehabilitative treatments in order to provide insights and evidence for the design, implementation, and application of brain-computer interfaces.MethodsA total of 70 healthy adults were recruited from July 2022 to February 2023, and 66 of them were finally included in the analysis. The cortical activation patterns during NMES+AO, NMES+AE, and NMES+AI were detected using the functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) technique. BackgroundHepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with a dismal prognosis is the second most deadly malignancy globally. Surgery is believed to be a curative approach. Nevertheless, there is still a considerable probability of postoperative recurrence. Most patients present in advanced stages with a surgically and oncologically unresectable disease. Systemic medicines are increasingly important to downstage the disease and further improve survival.Case summaryA 67-year-old Chinese man with uncontrolled hepatitis B was discovered to have liver masses with abnormal serum vitamin K absence or antagonist-II (PIVKA-II) level during checkup for upper abdominal discomfort. Abdominal multiphase computerized tomography (CT) and gadoxetate disodium–enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed the bulky bilobar HCCs of Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage B and China Liver Cancer Staging stage IIa. Furthermore, the aberrant right hepatic artery (RHA) originates from the superior mesenteric artery. Due to the location being adjacent to important vasculatures and massive size of the right-sided lesion, curative resection appears to be challenging. To achieve a favorable surgical margin, repeated hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) was adopted through the variant RHA, while transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) was delivered to the left lobe to arrest tumor growth. Furthermore, sintilimab plus lenvatinib served as the sequential systemic therapy. After 5 months of conversion treatment, the partial response with a decreased serum PIVKA-II level was attained. The R0 hepatectomy was then performed without postoperative complications. The immunohistochemistry and next-generation sequencing results suggested that the two-side HCCs existing tumor heterogeneity were not completely consistent. The patient continues to be without evidence of disease.ConclusionOur case highlights a favorable outcome in a man with bilobar bulky HCC after undergoing the comprehensive therapeutic schedule that includes personalized intervention and systemic drug therapy. In terms of conversion therapy, our case provides a secure and practical reference for managing unresectable bilobar HCC coexisting with the aberrant hepatic artery.

The continued growth of the industrial Internet of Things (IoT) paves the way for the fifth industrial revolution (Industry 5.0), which is expected to further enhance the wireless connectivity and human machine collaboration. Nonetheless, Industry 5.0 will inevitably face the great challenges such as large scale connectivity and explosive data traffic because of the proliferation of IoT devices. To meet these challenges, we propose a novel non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based overlay cognitive radio (OCR) network for Industry 5.0. Specifically, the hybrid full-duplex (FD)/ half-duplex (HD) mode at the secondary user (SR) is adopted and in-phase and quadrature phase imbalance (IQI) is introduced to better comply with the practical scenarios. We investigate the outage probability (OP) and ergodic sum rate (ESR) of the considered network with the Nakagami-m channels. Extensive simulation experiments are performed to verify the accuracy of the analysis. From the simulation results, we can conclude: i) Increasing the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), OP decreases but ESR increases and tends to a fixed value at high SNR regimes, indicating that the existence of IQI leads to a ceiling for the ESR; ii) The primary system has higher reliable performance at low SNR regions when SR is in FD mode, and for ergodicity, the system with FD relay is superior to HD relay; iii) The reliable performance of OMA system for primary users will be better since there is no interference at the relay.

AIM:To observe the clinical effect of ranibizumab combined with 577nm micropulse laser in the treatment of severe diabetic macular edema(DME). METHODS:There were 52 eyes of 52 patients diagnosed with severe DME who admitted to the People's Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from June 2016 to September 2019. The patients were randomly divided into the observation group(26 patients with 26 eyes, treated with ranibizumab combined with 577nm micropulse laser)and the control group(26 patients with 26 eyes, treated with ranibizumab alone). Patients in both groups received intravitreal injection of ranibizumab with “3+PRN” regimen. Followed up at 9mo after treatment to observe the central macular thickness(CMT), the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)and the times of intravitreal injection of ranibizumab in the two groups.RESULTS:Compared with before treatment, the CMT and BCVA of the two groups were significantly improved at each time point after treatment(all P0.05). During the follow-up period, the times of vitreous injection of ranibizumabin the observation group was significantly less than that in the control group(5.88±1.24 times vs 7.12±1.24 times, P=0.001). CONCLUSION:Both ranibizumab combined with 577nm micropulse laser and ranibizumab alone are effective in reducing edema and improving vision in patients with severe DME, but the combination therapy reduces the times of injection.

Abstract Background The mortality rate remains high among patients with coinfection with Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP) and HIV. The timing for initiation of antiretroviral therapy (ART) after a diagnosis of moderate to severe PCP remains controversial, however. We therefore designed the present study to determine the optimal timing for ART initiation in AIDS-associated PCP (AIDS/PCP) patients. Methods This was a multicenter, observational, prospective clinical trial. Eligible participants were recruited from 14 hospitals in mainland China, and assigned to an Early ART arm (initiation of ART ≤ 14 days after PCP diagnosis) and a Deferred ART arm (initiation of ART > 14 days after PCP diagnosis). The primary outcomes were death and the incidence of AIDS-defining events at week 48. The secondary outcomes were the changes in CD4+ T-cell counts from baseline values at weeks 12, 24, and 48, the virological suppression rate at week 24 and week 48, the rate of development of PCP-associated immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (PCP/IRIS), and the rate of adverse events over 48 weeks. Results The present study was performed using the data of 363 participants, with 169 participants in the Early ART arm, and 194 participants in the Deferred ART arm. Immunological and virological outcomes were found to be similar in both treatment arms. At week 48, there were no significant differences for the incidence of mortality (20 vs. 26, p = 0.860), and AIDS-defining events (17 vs. 26, p = 0.412). Over 48 weeks, the rates of PCP/IRIS (2 vs. 3, p = 1.000), adverse events (70 vs. 72, p = 0.465), and grade 3 or 4 adverse events (28 vs. 34, p = 0.919) did not reach statistical significance. A significant difference observed between two study arms was that 11 participants (55.0%) in the Early ART arm compared to 23 participants (88.5%) in the Deferred ART arm (p = 0.026) succumbed before ART had ever been started. Conclusions Early ART initiation results in no increase in mortality, AIDS-defining events, IRIS, adverse events, and immunological or virological outcomes. These results support the early initiation of ART in patients with moderate to severe AIDS/PCP. Abstract To address the increasing labor cost of resin tapping, more efficient methods for resin tapping need to be developed. This study aimed to evaluate the features of resinosis as affected by stimulant pastes in Pinus elliottii × P. caribaea, which is also one of the predominant resin-producing species hybrids in South China. The resin yields and resin compositions were assessed in 33 P. elliottii × P. caribaea F1 families, with the application of four kinds of chemical stimulants, potassium (K2SO4) paste, naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) paste, benzoic acid (BA) paste and 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid (CEPA) paste. Our results showed that all four pastes significantly increased the resin yield by at least 20% at each tapping, and 3- to fivefold increases were detected at the beginning of each year. The correlations between resin yield and growth at each tapping ranged from uncorrelated to moderately positively correlated, indicating that resin yield was mostly but not always determined by tree size. The concentration of each resin component did not change with the stimulant applications. In P. elliottii × P. caribaea, selecting a larger tree diameter at breast height and employing the chemical stimulants at the first several tapping rounds are efficient tapping procedures. Moreover, the K2SO4-based stimulant can be recommended considering its promoting effects on resin yield and the low cost of the chemicals required to produce it.

The sensory characteristics of 8 herbal near-water beverages were studied, which were separately from Pinus massoniana, Lophatherum gracile, mulberry leaf, chrysanthemum, Osmanthus fragrans, Mentha haplocalyx leaf, Perilla frutescens leaf, and birch sap. The rapid sensory profiling methods involving check-all-that-apply (CATA) test and the 9-point hedonic test were used. The 19 taste and 24 odor attributes were checked by consumers to evaluate the sensory and preference of 8 herbal near-water beverages. The results of hedonic analysis showed that consumers’ preferences had differences between 8 herbal near-water beverages. Objective: Rare coexistence of disease or pathology Background: Transplant lithiasis may be rare but poses significant risk to the renal graft function of the recipient. Immediate management is necessitated upon first detection, to prevent further complications. Case Reports: We report 2 cases of transplant lithiasis that were not treated immediately upon first detection. The first patient was a 42-year-old man that received a living-donor kidney from his mother, which was complicated by ureterovesical anastomotic stenosis, BK polyomavirus infection, and oliguria. He had a renal stone and 4 ureteric stones in his right allograft. The second patient was a 39-year-old man that finally received a suitable deceased donor kidney after 6 years of dialysis. A 2-3-mm stone was first detected 6 months after transplantation but was managed conservatively. He required management 8 years after transplantation, due to the presence of 2 renal stones and 4 ureteric stones in the left allograft that led to acute renal failure. Both patients required emergent percutaneous nephrolithotomy for decompression, followed by elective antegrade flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Boot stirrups were used throughout all procedures to facilitate access to the lower-positioned transplant kidney. Complete stone clearance was achieved, as detected by a 1-month postoperative follow-up computed tomography scan. Conclusions: Percutaneous nephrolithotomy and antegrade flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy was a safe and effective approach for complex transplant lithiasis. Population is an important basis for land and resource planning, and optimising the allocation of urban and rural public resources is conducive to the development of the regional economy and the protection of the regional ecological environment. Existing studies have mostly adopted the field research method, which mainly relies on researchers’ field visits to the population and public resources in the study area, and the data obtained by this method are relatively accurate, but only small-scale studies can be carried out, and it is difficult for researchers to grasp the overall state of the regional population and urban and rural public resources as a whole. This study is mainly based on multi-source nighttime light remote sensing data to analyse the population distribution and urban and rural public resources development in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province from 2012 to 2020, and the results of the study show that: 1.The total population of Luzhou City in 2020 is 314,100 more than the resident population of Luzhou City in the regression compared with the statistical data of Luzhou City, and the relative error is 7.38%, which shows that the overall accuracy of this study is high. 2. Luzhou city overall population, economy and public resources rapid development of the region is more dense, and shows the phenomenon of spatial aggregation. Good population development and balanced allocation of urban and rural public resources will be conducive to promoting the rapid development of the regional economy and providing sustainable power for regional development.

Laser plasma accelerators (LPAs) have become one of the frontiers of the accelerator community, mainly because they promise orders of magnitude improvement in the accelerating gradient. However, the energy stability and spread of the high-charge bunched beams (e.g. several hundred pC per bunch) from LPAs still strongly limit their application. In this work, we propose a novel method utilizing magnetic chicanes combined with both active and passive plasma dechirpers to simultaneously reduce the central energy deviation and the energy spread of high-charge bunched beams from LPAs. Start-to-end simulations demonstrate that the central energy deviation and the energy spread of approximately 500 pC bunches can be simultaneously reduced from approximately 2% and 1.2% to 0.1% and 0.5%, respectively, while maintaining almost perfect transmission efficiency (above 97%).

Climate change, especially through heatwaves, significantly affects human health and is a growing global concern. Concurrently, population aging is occurring worldwide, with many countries experiencing an increase in their elderly populations. As the elderly are particularly susceptible to extreme temperatures and unevenly distributed due to internal migration of younger populations, a spatio-temporal analysis integrating temperature changes and demographic data is essential. This study focuses on Japan, a super-aged society where over 25% of the total population is 65 years or older. We examined the effects of climate and the proportion of the elderly population on heatstroke deaths through spatio-temporal analysis within a Bayesian framework. We estimated the annual relative risk of heatstroke-related deaths at the prefecture level from 2008 to 2019. The results indicate a strong spatial autocorrelation in heatstroke deaths across Japan. The spatio-temporal interaction model was the best-performing, showing that regional and temporal variations significantly impact heatstroke mortality. In this model, a one-degree increase in temperature anomaly was linked to a 0.35 (95% CI 0.25 to 0.46) times higher odds of heatstroke deaths, while a 1% increase in the population aged 65 years or older was associated with 4.85 (95% CI 0.92 to 8.65) times higher odds. We found that not only metropolitan areas but also rural areas, such as the Tohoku and Shikoku regions, face a high risk of heatstroke, emphasizing the need to address the challenges in rural communities. Our study highlights the necessity of integrating temperature changes and demographic data in a spatio-temporal context for heatstroke risk assessment. It demonstrates the profound effects of temperature anomalies and the proportion of the elderly population on heatstroke mortality. This research framework could be applicable to other countries experiencing aging and heatwave issues, aiding in the development of targeted public health interventions.

Background: Age-related vulnerable characteristics of pancoronary plaques in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) have not been systemically evaluated by optical coherence tomography (OCT). Therefore, we sought to explore the discrepancies in pancoronary characteristics between younger and older patients with STEMI through OCT. Methods: This retrospective single-center study included 588 patients who had STEMI and underwent three-vessel OCT through emergency percutaneous coronary intervention between October 2016 and September 2018. With a median age of 56 years as a cutoff, the patients were divided into a younger group (≤56 years, n = 298) and an older group (>56 years, n = 290). Results: A total of 795 non-culprit plaques were found in 298 of the younger patients, whereas 858 non-culprit plaques were identified in 290 of the older patients. Fewer high-risk OCT plaques (15.8% vs. 23.1%; P = 0.025), as well as other structures (cholesterol crystals, P = 0.001; microchannels, P = 0.032; calcifications, P < 0.001; spotty calcifications, P < 0.001; large calcifications, P < 0.001; and thrombi, P = 0.001) were identified in younger patients than older patients, at the patient level. In addition, pancoronary vulnerability in younger patients was independently predicted by culprit plaque rupture {CLIMA-defined high-risk plaques (odds ratio [OR]: 3.179; 95% CI: 1.501 to 6.733; P = 0.003), non-culprit rupture (OR: 3.802; 95% CI: 1.604 to 9.014; P = 0.002), non-culprit thin-cap fibroatheroma (OR: 3.536; 95% CI: 2.051 to 6.094; P < 0.001)}, hypertension (OR: 1.920; 95% CI: 1.099 to 3.355; P = 0.022), and total cholesterol (OR: 1.094; 95% CI: 1.002 to 1.195; P = 0.045). In older patients with STEMI, the predictor was male sex (OR: 3.031; 95% CI: 1.352 to 6.795; P = 0.007). Conclusions: Among patients with STEMI, younger patients had limited vulnerable plaque characteristics, and pancoronary vulnerability was associated with culprit plaque rupture, hypertension, and total cholesterol. In contrast, older patients had greater pancoronary vulnerability with the single predictor of male sex, thus suggesting that traditional risk factors have limited applicability in predicting pancoronary vulnerability in older patients.
