This study aims to describe the performance of POAC management functions in the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic at Satya Wacana Christian High School Salatiga and PKBM Life Community School West Jakarta. The research method used a descriptive with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were teachers in each of the research schools. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data analysis technique of this research was interactive analysis consisting of data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. Results showed that each school's POAC stage of online learning implementation faced challenges. However, all stakeholders' synergy and active roles were deployed to overcome the challenge in each stage by providing teachers with the necessary equipment, training, and access to the internet for the learning process. Problems found during the process were learners' focus, material delivery methods that cause boredom, inadequate software, gadgets, and internet connection. Some solutions implemented are modifying the learning approach from teacher-centred to student-centred, modules, presentations, questions and answers, projects, and parents' involvement are also provided to manage the problems.

The development of information technology has provided electronic maps (e-maps) via mobile phones that help drivers find the travel destinations, but using mobile phone also can disturb the driver’s concentration. The aims of the research is to analyze the effects of using e-maps while driving on driver performance. The respondents were private car drivers, and as many as 325 respondents filled out the questionnaire. The drivers answered the questions about their experience using e-map while driving and particular behavior. As many as 45.54% of drivers involved in undesired circumstances such as changing lanes or slowing down suddenly and 20.00% involved in a near-miss accident. Meanwhile 39.94% of drivers stated to never be involved in any adverse event. The group of drivers who have aberrant behavior was involved in adverse event more often than the group of drivers who obey the rules (t-test, a=0.000). Regression analysis is performed to analyze the correlation between four types of aberrant behavior and the driver violations, there were moderate correlations between the research variables. The use of e-maps do not increase traffic violations when applied by obedient traffic rule drivers, but it does increase when applied aberrant behavior drivers.

Introduction: Breast carcinoma is the most common invasive cancer in female gender. Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy (NAC) helps to achieve resectability. The pathological response to NAC is classified as a pathological Complete Response (pCR), pathological Partial Response (pPR) and pathological No Response (pNR). Aim: To evaluate the role of Ki-67 as a predictive marker of pathological response and to find the optimum percentage of Ki-67 positivity that can be associated with pCR. Materials and Methods: The present cross-sectional study was conducted in the Department of Pathology, Government Medical College Thrissur, Kerala, India, between March 2021 and January 2022, which involved 50 breast carcinoma patients. Fifty patients who had undergone mastectomy post-NAC were selected. Ki-67 immunohistochemical staining was done on the initial trucut biopsy sample of the patients. Post-NAC mastectomy specimens were evaluated for tumour clearance. Association of Ki-67 score with pathological response in the mastectomy specimen was studied. Percentage cut-off for Ki67 in initial trucut biopsy of breast, that could effectively predict pCR in the post-NAC mastectomy specimens was derived by Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results: Total 50 cases of breast cancer were studied with mean±Standard Deviation (SD) age of 53.3±10.3 years. Eight (16%) out of 50 patients had achieved pCR while, 18 out of 50 patients (36%) showed pPR and 24 out 50 patients (48%) had pNR. Significant association between Ki-67 score and pathological response (p-value=0.03) was found. Optimal percentage cut-off for Ki-67 that could predict pCR was found to be 40% (p-value=0.023). Conclusion: Ki-67 can be used as an independent predictive marker of pathological response in patients undergoing NAC. Ki67 value of more than 40% shows strong association with pCR.

This study offers a mechanism to control low-speed orientation using semi-active control. The semi-active system consists of a variable mass system and a torsional spring. The torque generated by a variable mass system controls the platform’s orientation. An evaluation of the control system’s effectiveness is tested on a solar panel. The variable mass was represented by moving the water from one reservoir to another located at the left and right sides of the panel using an electrical pump. A solenoid valve controls the flow. The test results indicate that the energy consumption of electrical pump as actuators is reduced. Based on several references, the actuator energy consumption for controlling the orientation of solar panels was generally 2% - 3%, while in this study 0.79%. .

Mismatch repair (MMR) safeguards genome stability through recognition and excision of DNA replication errors.1-4 How eukaryotic MMR targets the newly replicated strand in vivo has not been established. MMR reactions reconstituted in vitro are directed to the strand containing a preexisting nick or gap,5-8 suggesting that strand discontinuities could act as discrimination signals. Another candidate is the proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) that is loaded at replication forks and is required for the activation of Mlh1-Pms1 endonuclease.7-9 Here, we discovered that overexpression of DNA ligase I (Cdc9) in Saccharomyces cerevisiae causes elevated mutation rates and increased chromatin-bound PCNA levels and accumulation of Pms1 foci that are MMR intermediates, suggesting that premature ligation of replication-associated nicks interferes with MMR. We showed that yeast Pms1 expression is mainly restricted to S phase, in agreement with the temporal coupling between MMR and DNA replication.10 Restricting Pms1 expression to the G2/M phase caused a mutator phenotype that was exacerbated in the absence of the exonuclease Exo1. This mutator phenotype was largely suppressed by increasing the lifetime of replication-associated DNA nicks, either by reducing or delaying Cdc9 ligase activity in vivo. Therefore, Cdc9 dictates a window of time for MMR determined by transient DNA nicks that direct the Mlh1-Pms1 in a strand-specific manner. Because DNA nicks occur on both newly synthesized leading and lagging strands,11 these results establish a general mechanism for targeting MMR to the newly synthesized DNA, thus preventing the accumulation of mutations that underlie the development of human cancer.

The COVID-19 pandemic has allowed instructors, academicians, and administrators working at institutions of higher education to re-evaluate and re-envision teaching and learning processes. While literature surrounding issues associated with transition to online learning and students' satisfaction with online courses has started to emerge, there is paucity of work that addresses the gap in research--importance of faculty presence in online classes and how to build strong presence to create meaningful learning experiences for students especially as we continue to adapt to new normal and prepare for post-COVID world. With the primary focus on faculty presence in online classes, this article provides a comprehensive analysis of the effect of the pandemic on teaching and learning and how it influenced academic institutions worldwide. The importance of social, cognitive and teaching presence in online learning and how instructors can work towards building presence in online classes have been presented. The community of inquiry (COI) framework and how instructors can integrate this framework to build faculty presence in online classes has been described. Furthermore, research/evidence-based tips to engage learners and provide optimal learning experiences is presented. These findings may help faculty in applying COI to teaching and learning practices in the post-COVID educational world. This work is of value to faculty, administrators, and instructional designers who are preparing to teach and facilitate academic processes during the pandemic, post-vaccine stage and in the post-pandemic world.

This exploratory study builds upon the expertise of a panel of faculty, administrators, students, and instructional designers (IDs) who lived through the pandemic and dealt with the associated challenges firsthand. These participants provided insight on how to establish systems that would create successful online teaching and learning opportunities in the post-vaccine and post-pandemic world. Four major themes emerged: (1) "integrating technology to facilitate and enhance education"; (2) "structural support and resources needed to build sound processes for effective online education"; (3) "establishing faculty presence to facilitate learning"; and (4) "joint ownership and responsibility of learning--everyone must play a part." These themes have been described in light of theoretical frameworks, such as the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) model, Community of Inquiry (COI), and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). Finally, evidence-based tips will allow academic institutions to successfully emerge out of the pandemic while still making plans to adjust and adapt in the post-vaccine world.

Objective. This study explores the impact of infographics on the professional dissemination of medical research. Recognising the burgeoning volume of data in the medical domain, this research aims to bridge the gap by investigating the efficacy of infographics in rendering complex medical concepts understandable to diverse audiences, including policymakers, patients, and the public. Design. The study uses a cross-sectional survey to assess medical professionals’ familiarity with infographic design and data visualisation principles. Setting. The research targets medical professionals with published articles across various subfields, including Clinical Medicine, Epidemiology, Pharmacology, Healthcare Management, Medical Imaging, and Public Health. Method. Data collection involves an online survey distributed to potential participants through professional networks and research institutions. The survey encompasses Likert-scale questions and demographic variables. Ethical considerations include obtaining approval from the institutional review board, ensuring participant consent, and maintaining data anonymity and confidentiality. Results. Demographic analysis reveals a diverse participant profile, with 58.7% male and 41.3% female respondents, spanning various age groups, professional experiences, and geographic locations. Assessing familiarity with infographic design and data visualisation principles demonstrates respondents’ proficiency in certain areas while highlighting potential areas for improvement. Conclusion. The study underscores the multifaceted benefits of infographics in research dissemination, as medical professionals perceive. Infographics can effectively convey various kinds of medical research information across diverse platforms and channels.

BackgroundBurkholderia pseudomallei possesses a diverse set of genes which encode a vast array of biological functions reflecting its clinical, ecological and phenotypic diversity. Strain variation is linked to geographic location as well as pattern of land uses. This soil-dwelling Gram-negative pathogen causes melioidosis, a tropical disease endemic in northern Australia and Southeast Asian regions including Bangladesh. Phylogeographic analyses of B. pseudomallei isolates by molecular typing techniques could be used to examine the diversity of this organism as well as to track melioidosis epidemics.MethodsIn this study, 22 B. pseudomallei isolates, of which 20 clinical and two soil isolates were analyzed, utilizing Real-time PCR assay and multilocus sequence typing (MLST). The sequences were then submitted to PubMLST database for analysis and construction of phylogenetic tree.FindingsA total of 12 different sequence types (STs) that includes four novel STs were identified for the first time. Strains having STs 1005, 1007 and 56 were the most widespread STs frequently isolated in Bangladesh. ST 1005, ST 56, ST 1007 and ST 211 have been detected not only in Bangladesh but are also present in many Southeast Asian countries.SignificanceST 1005 was detected in both soil and clinical samples of Gazipur. Most prevalent, ST 56 has been previously reported from Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, confirming the persistence of the genotype over the entire continent. Further large-scale study is necessary to find out the magnitude of the infection and its different reservoirs in the environment along with phylogeographic association.

Background: The unmet need for family planning in Indonesia has been stagnant since the early 2000s in the 10%–12% range with substantial socioeconomic and geographic disparities. This study sought to better understand the factors underlying the nonuse of contraceptives among women with an apparent need for family planning so that evidence-based corrective actions can be taken. Methods: Three sources of quantitative data were used in the study—the 2017 Indonesia Demographic Health Survey, the 2018 Village Potential Survey, and the National Population and Family Planning Board service statistics. Further insights were obtained from online focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with participants in 12 districts/cities in seven provinces. Results: The analyses indicated that health concerns, service delivery-related factors, and opposition to family planning all contribute to the unmet need for family planning in Indonesia. Importantly, the salience of these factors varied significantly across different subgroups of women and geographic areas. Conclusions: Successful efforts to reduce the unmet need for family planning are complex in that they must contend with the interplay between local sociocultural contexts, individual beliefs/aspirations/preferences, and the supply environment of family planning services. Differentiated interventions for different population subgroups and geographic areas will be needed.

Background: Anxiety is common in pregnant women. Many studies have shown association of antenatal anxiety with adverse pregnancy outcomes, though the results are conflicting. Further, there are very limited studies on the subject reported from India, due to which, the data is limited. Hence this study was undertaken. Materials and Methods: Two hundred randomly selected consenting registered pregnant women reporting for antenatal follow up during third trimester of pregnancy were included in the study. Hindi version of Perinatal Anxiety Screening scale (PASS) was used to assess anxiety. Edinburgh Postnatal Depression rating Scale (EPDS) was used to assess comorbid depression. These women were followed up in the post-natal period to assess pregnancy outcomes. Chi-square test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and correlation coefficients were calculated. Results: Analysis was done for 195 subjects. Most women (48.7%) were between 26 and 30 yrs of age. Primigravidas comprised 11.3 % of total study sample. Mean anxiety score was 23.6 (range 5-80). Adverse pregnancy outcomes were noted in 99 women; however anxiety scores in this group were not different from the group without adverse outcomes. No significant group differences were found with respect to PASS or EPDS scores. None of the women were found to have a syndromal anxiety disorder. Conclusions: Antenatal anxiety was not found to be associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes. This finding is contrary to the results obtained in earlier studies. More enquiry is needed into this area to replicate the results with clarity in larger samples, in Indian context.

Introduction:The period of adolescence involves a lot of emotional changes as it is a period of transition to adulthood demanding independence.Adolescents with depression are more likely to have anxiety, disruptive behavior disorder and substance abuse when compared to those who are not depressed. Objective: To estimate the prevalence of depression among school going adolescents.and to assess the factors associated with depression among them. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted among school going adolescents aged 13-16 years in the urban field practice area of a Medical College. Depression was assessed using Beck’s depression inventory (BDI). Total 896 adolescents were included in this study. Single stage cluster sampling method was done in which schools were considered as clusters and students constituted the sampling units. Schools were selected by simple random sampling technique using lottery method. Results: In this study about 45.2% of the adolescents had depressive disorder, out of which mild depression was reported among 22.2% students, 12.4% moderately depressed and 10.6% severe depression. Factors like mother’s education, lack of communication by father and mother with their children, lack of needs satisfied by the fathers of the adolescents (61.9%), father’s role in adolescents’ life (62%) and domestic violence in family (69.7%) were some of the important reasons for developing depression among adolescents. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has changed the landscape of higher education. As academic institutions across the world continue to deal with the global health crisis, there is a need to examine different instructional approaches including online, hybrid, and blended learning methods. This descriptive study provide an in-depth review of the history of blended learning, evolution of hybrid model of instruction, preparedness of faculty with minimal or no experience in online teaching, and lessons learned as faculty worked on navigating COVID-19 situation since early 2020. A fish-bone analysis, a visual and structured approach to identify possible causes of problem, has been used to present the problems faced by faculty during the pandemic. A detailed Strength-Weakness-Opportunities-Threat analysis of blended/hybrid learning has been presented. An evidence-based approach on how instructors can combine the best of both traditional and online instruction to offer engaging learning experiences for students has been described. This research provides valuable insights to faculty and administrators who are preparing to teach during a pandemic and making efforts to academically survive it.

With the advancement of the Internet and the world wide web (WWW), it is observed that there is an exponential growth of data and information across the internet. In addition, there is a huge growth in digital or textual data generation. This is because users post the reply comments in social media websites based on the experiences about an event or product. Furthermore, people are interested to know whether the majority of potential buyers will have a positive or negative experience on the event or the product. This kind of classification in general can be attained through Sentiment Analysis which inputs unstructured text comments about the product reviews, events, etc., from all the reviews or comments posted by users. This further classifies the data into different categories namely positive, negative or neutral opinions. Sentiment analysis can be performed by different machine learning models like CNN, Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, XgBoost, Logistic Regression etc. The proposed work is compared with the existing solutions in terms of different performance metrics and XgBoost outperforms out of all other methods.

This study is about the determinants of investment decisions among retirables to evaluate their preparedness of retirables in terms of investment before they retire, the perceived factors that influence them to invest, and their knowledge and education in financial management. It also creates an investment planning model that will fit the needs of the individual depending on their income and risk appetite to invest. The study uses a descriptive correlational method, and the results revealed no significant difference between the respondents according to the three determinants (Investment Behavior, Financial Preparedness, and Investment Influencers). Therefore, they do not differ in terms of determinants in making decisions. However, there was a significant relationship between investment determinants of retirables and investment influencers. The correlation of 0.864 between investment determinants and investment influencers for the retirables was highly correlated and statistically significant. The investment determinants influence investment decision-making; thus, it is claimed that determinant factors are extremely important to implement their investment plan for retirement preparedness. Consequently, knowing the investment determinant behavior is the key to practicing Investment planning. It is recommended, therefore, to strengthen the level of financial preparedness and education of employed people at an early age to raise awareness and improve their understanding of financial risks when they are no longer earning (retired) and make necessary investments.

The study aims in applying two statistical tools to analyze the retting behavior of plant stems for extracting bast fibers for industrial applications. At first, a mediation model is employed to investigate the first hypothesis of this work that involves studying the color response of the retted solvent as a function of retting time on the responsible variable, fiber yield (%). Statistically, there is a significant indirect effect of retting time on fiber yield (%) through retting trait (β = −0.0142, 95% C.I. [−0.0274, −0.0011]) – a statistical inference bolstered by the Sobel test result, confirming the mediation effect (p-value = 0.0329

Abstract Background Micro‐, small‐, and medium‐sized enterprises (MSMEs) account for the vast majority of firms in most economies, particularly in developing nations, and are key contributors to job creation and global economic development. However, the most significant impediment to MSME development in low‐ and middle‐income countries is a lack of access to both investment and working capital financing. Due to a lack of essential track record, appropriate collateral, and credit history, MSMEs are frequently denied business loans by traditional lending institutions. In addition, SMEs’ inability to access funding is hindered by institutional, structural, and non‐financial factors. To address this, both the public and private sectors employ indirect and direct finance interventions to help MSMEs in developing and emerging economies enhance and increase their financing needs. Given the importance of MSMEs in the economy, a comprehensive overview of and systematic synthesizing of the evidence of the effects of financial access interventions for MSMEs, capturing a wide variety of outcome variables, is useful. Objectives The objective of this evidence and gap map (EGM) is to describe the existing evidence on the effects of various interventions dedicated to supporting and improving MSMEs’ access to credit, as well as the corresponding firm performance and/or welfare outcomes. Methods An EGM is a systematic evidence product that displays the existing evidence relevant to a specific research question. An EGM's end product is a research article or report, but it can also be shared via an interactive map drawn as a matrix of included studies and their corresponding interventions and outcomes. Interventions in low‐ and middle‐income countries that target specific population subgroups are included on the map. The EGM considers five types of interventions: (i) strategy, legislation and regulatory; (ii) systems and institutions; (iii) facilitate access; (iv) lending instruments or financial products; and (v) demand‐side interventions. The map, on the other hand, covers outcome domains for policy environment, financial inclusion, firm performance, and welfare. Impact evaluations or systematic reviews of relevant interventions for a previously defined target population are included in the EGM. Studies using experimental or non‐experimental designs, as well as systematic reviews, are eligible. The EGM excludes before‐and‐after study designs with no suitable comparison group. Furthermore, the map excludes literature reviews, key informant interviews, focus group discussions, and descriptive analyses. Search strings were used to conduct electronic searches in databases. To ensure that the research team had identified a significant portion of relevant research works, the search strategy was supplemented with gray literature searches and systematic review citation tracking. We have compiled studies that are either completed or in progress. For practical reasons, studies are limited to papers written in English and are not restricted by publication date. Selection Criteria We included studies that examined interventions to enhance MSMEs’ access to finance in low‐ and middle‐income countries targeting MSMEs including households, smallholder farmers and single person enterprise as well as financial institutions/agencies and their staff. The EGM considers five types of interventions that aim to: (i) deliver strategy, legislation, and regulatory aspects; (ii) systems and institutions that enable financing; (iii) facilitate access to finance; (iv) deliver different lending instruments or financial products, including traditional forms of microcredit; and (v) demand‐side interventions such as programs on financial literacy. The map includes outcome domains surrounding policy environment, financial inclusion, firm performance, and welfare. Eligible studies must be experimental, non‐experimental, or systematic reviews. In addition, the study designs must have a suitable comparison group before and after the implementation of interventions. Results The EGM includes 413 studies. The majority of the studies (379 studies) analyzed microenterprises, such as households and smallholder farmers; 7 studies analyzed community groups; while 109 studies analyzed small and medium enterprises. There were 147 studies on interventions that targeted multiple firm sizes. Lending instruments/financial products are the most common intervention across all firm types. When it comes to the types of firms that receive the said financial intervention, the data is overwhelmingly in favor of microenterprises (278 studies), followed by systems and organizations (138 studies) that support better access to such financial products and services. Welfare outcomes have the most evidence out of all of the outcomes of interest, followed by firm performance and financial inclusion. Among all firm types, welfare outcomes are primarily targeted at microenterprises. With 59 studies, we can say that small businesses have a significantly large number of enterprise performance outcomes. of the 413 studies, 243 used non‐experimental or quasi‐experimental designs (mainly propensity score matching and instrumental variable approaches), 136 used experimental methods, and 34 were systematic reviews. 175 studies (43%) provided evidence from Sub‐Saharan Africa, 142 studies (35%) from South Asia, 86 studies (21%) from East Asia and the Pacific, 66 studies (16%) from Latin America and the Caribbean, 28 studies (7%), Europe and Central Asia, and 21 studies (5%) from the Middle East and North Africa. Most of the included evidence covers low‐income (26%) and lower‐middle income countries (66%), and to a lesser extent upper‐middle‐income countries (26%). Conclusion This map depicts the existing evidence and gaps on the effects of interventions to enhance MSMEs’ access to financial services in low and middle‐income countries. Interventions directed at microenterprises with welfare outcomes have a significant number of research outcomes in the literature. SME evaluations have looked at firm performance, with less focus to employment and the welfare effects on owners and employees, including poverty reduction. Microcredit/loans have been the focus of a large number of research papers (238 studies), indicating the field's growing popularity. However, emerging financial interventions such as facilitating access to digital financial services are relatively under‐studied. Several studies also investigate rural or population in remote areas with 192 studies, 126 studies on poor and disadvantaged, and 114 papers on women. Most of the research is conducted in Sub‐Saharan Africa (175 studies) and South Asia (142 studies) so further research in other regions could be conducted to allow a more holistic understanding of the effects of financial inclusion interventions. Credit lines, supply chain finance, and trade financing, which are some of the ADB's financial tools have limited evidence. Future studies should look into strategy, law, and regulation interventions, as well as interventions targeted at SMEs, and examine policy and regulatory environment outcomes as well as welfare outcomes. Interventions on the demand side and their impact on the policy and regulatory environment, as well as facilitating access are relatively understudied.

Introduction: Stress among undergraduate students has become a significant concern in higher education due to its detrimental effects on their health and academic performance. By exploring the association between various sociodemographic variables and stress levels, valuable insights into the factors contributing to stress among undergraduate students can be provided. Objectives: To determine the prevalence of stress and its associated factors among medical students in a tertiary care hospital Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among 133 undergraduate students selected utilising convenience sampling. A pre-designed close-ended questionnaire, specifically tailored for this study, was employed to collect data related to stress experienced by undergraduate students. Appropriate statistical analyses were performed with significance level set at p < 0.05. Results: The study revealed that 19% of the undergraduate students experienced high perceived stress, 67% experienced moderate stress and 13% experienced low stress levels. A significant association was observed between perceived stress and reduced appetite (p=0.014). Additionally, significant associations were found between stress and poor relationships with faculties (p=0.003); the warden (p=0.01); family members (p=0.003); facing time pressure(p=0.006); heavy workload (p=0.029); fear of failure (p=0.002); suffering from frequent exams (p=0.003); and exam patterns and curriculum (p=0.024). Conclusions & Recommendations: Results highlight considerable prevalence of stress among undergraduate students, with the majority demonstrating moderate stress levels. It is imperative to prioritise undergraduate students' mental and physical wellbeing by incorporating counselling services and preventive mental health programs as integral components of routine clinical services, so that educational institutions can foster a supportive learning environment.

In the course of studying Diels–Alder reactions of 4-vinylimidazoles with N-phenylmaleimide, it was discovered that they engage in cycloaddition at room temperature to give high yields of the initial cycloadduct as a single stereoisomer. In certain cases, the product precipitated out of the reaction mixture and could be isolated by simple filtration, thereby avoiding issues with aromatization observed during chromatographic purification. Given these results, intramolecular variants using doubly activated dienophiles were also investigated at room temperature. Amides underwent cycloaddition at room temperature in modest yields, but the initial adducts were not isolable with Nimid-benzyl-protected systems. Attempts to extend these results to the corresponding esters and hydroxamate were less successful with these substrates only undergoing cycloaddition at elevated temperatures in lower yields. Density functional theory calculations were performed to evaluate the putative transition states for both the inter- and intramolecular variants to rationalize experimental observations.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease that causes joint inflammation and destruction with an unknown origin. Our study aims to elucidate the molecular mechanism behind HIF1α overexpression in RA. Dysregulated miRNA expressions are known to influence gene behavior, thereby enhancing cell proliferation, inflammation, and resistance to apoptosis, contributing to RA development. Our earlier finding indicated that exogenous miRNA similar to miR-4693-5p may modulate RA-related targets. However, the specific role of miR-4693-5p and its targets in RA remain unexplored. In this study, we found that miR-4693-5p was significantly reduced in PBMCs of RA patients, with evidence suggesting it targets the 3′ UTR of HIF1α, thereby potentially contributing to its overexpression in RA. In vitro overexpression of miR-4693-5p leads to the knockdown of HIF1α, resulting in inhibited expression of Survivin to disrupt apoptosis resistance, inflammation suppression, and a reduction in the total cellular ROS response in SW982 and RAFLS cells. The results were validated using the CIA Rat model. In conclusion, this study provides a crucial foundation for understanding the functional role of miR-4693-5p. These findings improve our understanding and provide novel insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying RA pathogenesis.
