Comprehensive Summary: Electrochemical sensing faces huge challenges in characterizing the transient release of biochemical molecules from deformed cells, due to the severely mechanical mismatch between rigid electrodes and soft cells. In recent years, the emergence of stretchable electrochemical sensors has made a breakthrough by complying with the deformation of living cells and simultaneous monitoring of mechanically evoked biochemical signals. This review first summarizes two fundamental strategies for the fabrication of stretchable electrodes from the points of structure and material. Next, recent progresses in construction of functionalized interface to improve the performance of stretchable electrochemical sensors are presented. Then, the application of stretchable electrochemical sensors in real‐time monitoring of biomolecules released by mechanically sensitive cells is introduced. Finally, some perspectives and challenges of stretchable electrochemical sensors regarding cell detection are discussed. What is the favorite and original chemistry developed in your research group? A new flavonoid, saffloflavone , along with six known compounds, kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside, kaempferol-3-O-sophoroside, quercetin-3-O-β-d-glucoside, quercetin-7-O-β-d-glucoside, luteolin-7-O-β-d-glucoside and kaempferol 3-O-β-d-glucoside were isolated from the flowers of Carthamus tinctorius L. All the structures were determined by interpretation of their spectroscopic data. The cardioprotective effects of all the isolates against oxidative stress of H9c2 cells induced by H2O2 were investigated. The results showed that compounds 4–6 exhibited protective effects against of H9c2 cells injury induced by H2O2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A new quinic acid derivative (1) along with seven known compounds (2–8) were isolated from the fruit of Gardenia jasminoides J.Ellis. All the structures of the isolated compounds were elucidated on the basis of the analysis of multiple spectroscopic data. The α-glucosidase inhibitory effects of the isolated compounds were investigated. The results showed that compounds 1–3, 6, and 8 have moderate α-glucosidase inhibitory activities. In this study, we employed electrospinning technology and in situ polymerization to prepare wearable and highly sensitive PVP/PEDOT:PSS/TiO2 micro/nanofiber gas sensors. PEDOT, PEDOT:PSS, and TiO2 were prepared via in situ polymerization and tested for characteristic peaks using energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), then characterized using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), a four-point probe resistance measurement, and a gas sensor test system. The gas sensitivity was 3.46–12.06% when ethanol with a concentration between 12.5 ppm and 6250 ppm was measured; 625 ppm of ethanol was used in the gas sensitivity measurements for the PEDOT/composite conductive woven fabrics, PVP/PEDOT:PSS nanofiber membranes, and PVP/PEDOT:PSS/TiO2 micro/nanofiber gas sensors. The latter exhibited the highest gas sensitivity, which was 5.52% and 2.35% greater than that of the PEDOT/composite conductive woven fabrics and PVP/PEDOT:PSS nanofiber membranes, respectively. In addition, the influence of relative humidity on the performance of the PVP/PEDOT:PSS/TiO2 micro/nanofiber gas sensors was examined. The electrical sensitivity decreased with a decrease in ethanol concentration. The gas sensitivity exhibited a linear relationship with relative humidity lower than 75%; however, when the relative humidity was higher than 75%, the gas sensitivity showed a highly non-linear correlation. The test results indicated that the PVP/PEDOT:PSS/TiO2 micro/nanofiber gas sensors were flexible and highly sensitive to gas, qualifying them for use as a wearable gas sensor platform at room temperature. Background: The aim of this study was to analyze the present situation of Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU), Chlamydia trachomatis (CT), Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) and Neisseria gonorrhoeae (NG) infections among obstetrics and gynecological outpatients in southwest China.Methods: A total of 3225 urogenital swabs were included in this study. All swabs were tested by RNA-based simultaneous amplification and testing (SAT) methods. Routine analysis of leucorrhea smear and drug susceptibility were performed in UU positive patients.Results: Of these 3225 outpatients, the positive rate was 27.07% for UU, 4.99% for CT, 3.10% for MG, and 0.09% for NG. UU, CT, and MG infections were more common in women of reproductive age (aged 25-34 years), while NG infection was more prominent in women aged 30-34 years and over 40 years. Overall, the infection rate of UU was significantly higher than that of the other three infections, and UU also played a major role even in the mixed infections. 65.07% of the UU positive patients had negative results on routine leucorrhea smear analysis, and the remaining patients may have bacterial vaginitis (15.79%), fungal vaginitis (11.48%), trichomonas vaginitis (0.96%) or other vaginal inflammation (6.70%). We have observed that maternal UU infection can lead to low birth weight, neonatal pneumonia, and premature delivery. The results of the drug susceptibility test of UU showed a higher sensitivity to pristinamycin, doxycycline, tetracycline, clarithromycin, and josamycin (100%, 97.0%, 96.4%, 95.9%, and 95.3%, respectively), and lower sensitivity to ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin (2.4% and 4.7% respectively).Conclusions: This study could contribute to a better understanding of the current epidemiological features of UU, CT, MG, and NG among obstetrics and gynecological outpatients in southwest China, and thus facilitate to development of the more effective intervention, prevention, and treatment of reproductive tract infection. A new amide, named rehmagluamide (1), and a new hydroxycinnamic acid derivative, named nepetoidin F (2), together with six known compounds, 2′-O-methyluridine (3), puroglutamic acid (4), biliverdic acid (5), peterolactam (6), nicotinic acid (7), nicotinamide (8), were isolated from the fresh roots of Rehmannia glutinosa. All the structures of compounds were identified by the interpretation of their spectroscopic data and comparison with those reported in the literatures. The protective effects of compounds 1–7 on normal rat kidney tubule epithelioid (NRK-52e) cells injury induced by LPS were investigated.
