This paper focuses on event‐triggered sampled‐data synchronization of uncertain complex networks with time‐varying coupled delays. First of all, a discrete event‐triggered sampled‐data control scheme is adopted, which not only makes the state of the system be monitored in discrete time, but also the sampling information is effectively transmitted. The proposed event‐triggered mechanism effectively prevents Zeno behavior. In addition, we also use some novel piecewise time‐dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii and Wirtinger inequality to handle the time‐varying delays and parameter uncertainties of complex networks. Then, synchronization criteria are given for uncertain complex networks. Finally, the simulation results show that the control scheme can significantly reduce the number of transmitted signals while maintaining the uncertain complex networks synchronization. Previous studies on the early interference of gut microbiota by Bacillus siamensis (B. siamensis) in weaned piglets are rarely reported, and the present trial is a preliminary study. This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of B. siamensis supplementation on the growth performance, serum biochemistry, immune response, fecal short-chain fatty acids and microbiota of weaned piglets. Sixty weaned piglets were randomly divided into a control group (CON) and a B. siamensis group (BS), which were fed a basal diet and the basal diet supplemented with 5 × 1010 CFU B. siamensis per kg, respectively. Each group had 3 replicates and 10 piglets per replicate. The trial lasted for 28 days. The results showed that B. siamensis significantly increased the serum growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor (IGF) in piglets. Compared with the CON group, the levels of serum immunoglobulin and inflammatory factors in the BS group were significantly improved. In addition, the serum concentrations of zonulin and endotoxin (ET) in the BS group were lower. The dietary addition of B. siamensis significantly increased fecal short-chain fatty acid (SCFA) levels in piglets. Notably, B. siamensis improved the microbial composition by increasing beneficial genera, including Weissella, Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136_group and Bifidobacterium, and decreasing pathogenic genera, including Pantoea, Fusobacterium and Gemella, in piglet feces. Correlation analysis showed that the benefits of dietary B. siamensis supplementation were closely related to its improved microbial composition. In summary, the addition of B. siamensis can improve the immunity function, inflammatory response, gut permeability and SCFA levels of weaned piglets, which may be achieved through the improvement of their microbiota. Objective To summarize the incidence, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of basal cell ne⁃ vus syndrome and to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods Retrospective analysis of 4 cas⁃ es of basal cell nevus syndrome admitted to the General Hospital of PLA during January 2017 to January 2018 and re⁃ cent cases reported in the literature. Results In this study, 1 males and 3 females were included. The patients includ⁃ ed a mother and her child. All 4 cases were surgically resected. Pathological reports included all keratocysts of the jaws. There has been no recurrence since follow⁃up. Through literature summarization and analysis, the clinical manifesta⁃ tions of this syndrome were found to be diverse. Typical clinical manifestations include multiple keratocysts of the jaws, multiple blepharospasms or cancers, deformities of the spine or ribs, increased brachial distance, eye diseases or special face intracranial calcification. Conclusion Basal cell nevus syndrome is an autosomal dominant genetic disorder. The clinical manifestations are diverse and the diagnosis is often overlooked. The incidence of cysts in the jaws is one of the important clinical manifestations of this syndrome. Early diagnosis and proper treatment improve patient survival and quality of life.

Optoelectronic integrated circuits, with a broad photonic transportation bandwidth, have emerged as a promising solution to fulfill the escalating demands for high-volume information transportation and processing. However, challenges persist in developing optoelectronic integrated circuits based on low-dimensional nanostructures, including limited integration density and high energy consumption. Here, we demonstrate a bidirectional optoelectronic device by integrating a light-emitting/harvesting CsPbBr3 nanoplate with a waveguiding/modulating/detecting CdS nanobelt. By configuring the CsPbBr3 nanoplate in a Schottky-type device structure with a metal electrode, bright electroluminescence was attained at a bias voltage of 18 V. Thanks to the electric field-tuned phonon-coupling effect, the waveguided light in the CdS nanobelt exhibited a high modulation depth of up to 94%, rendering it an excellent building block as optical modulators and optical switches. Moreover, the integrated nanostructure device showcased functionality in the photodetection mode. The proposed device architecture holds promise for broader applications, potentially extending to other perovskite-coupled II–VI semiconductor optoelectronic integrated circuits for expanding integration capacity and enhancing optoelectronic performance. This study investigated the nutritional benefits of complex dietary fiber (beta-glucan and fructo-oligosaccharides, CDF) supplementation in sows and piglets during late pregnancy and lactation. Twenty-four sows were randomly divided into two groups: the control group was fed a basal diet (n = 12), and the experimental group was fed a CDF diet (0.25% CDF replaced the same proportion of corn in the basal diet, n = 12). Dietary treatment was given from day 107 of pregnancy to day 25 of lactation. The results of this experiment showed that CDF increased the average daily feed intake (ADFI) of sows during lactation and the weaning body weight (BW) and average daily gain of piglets. Dietary CDF supplementation improved the antioxidant capacity and immune level of sows and decreased the serum zonulin level. Dietary supplementation with CDF increased the levels of antioxidant activity, immunoglobulin, and anti-inflammatory factor interleukin-10 (IL-10) in milk. Meanwhile, piglets in the CDF group had increased serum antioxidant activity, immunoglobulin, and growth-related hormone levels; decreased malondialdehyde (MDA), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and D-lactic acid (D-LA) levels; and increased fecal short-chain fatty acid content. In addition, the CDF group increased the diversity of microorganisms in sow feces. In conclusion, the supplementation of a diet with CDF in late pregnancy and lactation can alleviate the oxidative stress of sows, improve milk quality, and have significant positive effects on the antioxidant capacity and growth performance of piglets.
