Objective: Solve the problems of difficulties of Daqu fermentation detection, judge the fermentation state judgement, and controlling. Methods: The Tent-SSA optimized BP neural network algorithm Daqu fermentation humidity prediction model and dynamic threshold control algorithm were proposed to realize real-time judgment of Daqu state and Daqu fermentation control during Daqu fermentation process. Results: The error predicted by The simulation prediction model for humidity prediction had low error (0.596%), good robust performance and fast convergence speed. Conclusion: The Daqu monitoring system based on this model is accurate and reliable.

A family of plant nuclear ion channels, including DMI1 (Does not Make Infections 1) and its homologs CASTOR and POLLUX, are required for the establishment of legume-microbe symbioses by generating nuclear and perinuclear Ca2+ spiking. Here we show that CASTOR from Lotus japonicus is a highly selective Ca2+ channel whose activation requires cytosolic/nucleosolic Ca2+, contrary to the previous suggestion of it being a K+ channel. Structurally, the cytosolic/nucleosolic ligand-binding soluble region of CASTOR contains two tandem RCK (Regulator of Conductance for K+) domains, and four subunits assemble into the gating ring architecture, similar to that of large conductance, Ca2+-gated K+ (BK) channels despite the lack of sequence similarity. Multiple ion binding sites are clustered at two locations within each subunit, and three of them are identified to be Ca2+ sites. Our in vitro and in vivo assays also demonstrate the importance of these gating-ring Ca2+ binding sites to the physiological function of CASTOR as well as DMI1.

The collective data associated with this article presents the biaxial mechanical behavior for six smaller, delimited regions of the mitral valve and tricuspid valve anterior leaflets. Each data set consists of five columns of data, specifically: (i) biaxial testing protocol ID, (ii) circumferential stretch, (iii) radial stretch, (iv) circumferential membrane tension, and (v) radial membrane tension. The facilitation of proper blood flow through the heart depends on proper function of heart valve components, and alterations to any component can lead to heart disease or failure. Comprehension of these valvular diseases is reliant on thorough characterization of healthy heart valve structures for use in computational models. Previously, computational models have treated these leaflet structures as a structurally and mechanically homogenous material, which may not be an accurate description of leaflet mechanical response. In this study, we aimed to characterize the mechanics of the heart valve leaflet as a structurally heterogenous material. Specifically, porcine mitral valve and tricuspid valve anterior leaflets were sectioned into six regions and biaxial mechanical tests with various loading ratios and stress-relaxation test were performed on each regional tissue sample. Three main findings from this study were summarized as follows: (i) the central regions of the leaflet had a more anisotropic nature than edge regions, (ii) the mitral valve anterior leaflet was more extensible in regions closer to the annulus, and (iii) there was variance in the stress-relaxation behavior among all six regions, with mitral valve leaflet tissue regions exhibiting a greater decay than the tricuspid valve regions. This study presents a novel investigation of the regional variations in the heart valve biomechanics that has not been comprehensively examined. Our results thus allow for a refinement of computational models for more accurately predicting diseased or surgically-intervened condition, where tissue heterogeneity plays an essential role in the heart valve function.

Structure clustering is a general but time‐consuming work in the study of life science. Up to now, most published tools do not support the clustering analysis on graphics processing unit (GPU) with root mean square deviation metric. In this work, we specially write codes to do the work. It supports multiple threads on multiple GPUs. To show the performance, we apply the program to a 33‐residue fragment in protein Pin1 WW domain mutant. The dataset contains 1,400,000 snapshots, which are extracted from an enhanced sampling simulation and distribute widely in the conformational space. Various testing results present that our program is quite efficient. Particularly, with two NVIDIA RTX4090 GPUs and single precision data type, the clustering calculation on 1 million snapshots is completed in a few seconds (including the uploading time of data from memory to GPU and neglecting the reading time from hard disk). This is hundreds of times faster than central processing unit. The Cu2ZnSnS4(CZTS) monocrystal as an important component of the optical absorption layer in monograin layer solar cells, has excellent crystallization characteristics and adjustable photogenerated carrier concentration. The shape of the CZTS monocrystal directly affects the utilization of incident light and the contact area during the preparation of the back electrode when they are densely packed to form a single‐layer absorption layer. Herein, a kesterite‐phase pyramid‐shaped CZTS monocrystal prepared by the molten salt method is reported, which can improve the efficiency of incident light utilization and increase the contact area during back electrode preparation. The X‐Ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and scanning electron microscopy are used to characterize the crystallinity and crystal shape of pyramid‐shaped CZTS monocrystal. Besides, Finite‐Difference simulation calculation is employed to reveal the optical response and corresponding monograin layer solar cells performance of densely packed CZTS. The results show that the pyramid‐shaped structure exhibited excellent incident light trapping ability, and the simulated device achieves a cell efficiency with above 13.6% after parameter optimization. The work provides a method for preparing pyramid‐shaped CZTS monocrystal, and a new strategy to further improve the efficiency of CZTS‐based monograin layer solar cells. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To establish and validate a new clinical-radiomics nomogram based on the fat-suppressed T2 sequence for differentiating luminal and non-luminal breast cancer. Methods: A total of 593 breast cancer patients who underwent preoperative breast MRI from Jan 2017 to Dec 2020 were enrolled, which were randomly divided into the training (n=474) and test sets (n=119) at the ratio of 8:2. Intratumoral region (ITR) of interest were manually delineated, and peritumoral regions of 3 mm and 5 mm (PTR-3 mm and PTR-5 mm) were automatically obtained by dilating the ITR. Intratumoral and peritumoral radiomics features were extracted from the fat-suppressed T2-weighted images, including first-order statistical features, shape features, texture features, and filtered features. The Mann-Whitney U Test, Z score normalization, K-best method, and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) algorithm were applied to select key features to construct radscores based on ITR, PTR-3 mm, PTR-5 mm, ITR+PTR-3 mm and ITR+ PTR-5 mm. Risk factors were selected by univariate and multivariate logistic regressions and were used to construct a clinical model and a clinical-radiomics model that presented as a nomogram. The performance of models was assessed by sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, the area under the curve (AUC) of receiver operating characteristic (ROC), calibration curves, and decision curve analysis (DCA). Results: ITR+PTR-3 mm radsore and histological grade were selected as risk factors. A clinical-radiomics model was constructed by adding ITR+PTR-3mm radscore to the clinical factor, which was presented as a nomogram. The clinical-radiomics nomogram showed the highest AUC (0.873), sensitivity (72.3%), specificity (78.9%) and accuracy (77.0%) in the training set and the highest AUC (0.851), sensitivity (71.4%), specificity (79.8%) and accuracy (77.3%) in the test set. DCA showed that the clinical-radiomics nomogram had the greatest net clinical benefit compared to the other models. Conclusion: The clinical-radiomics nomogram showed promising clinical application value in differentiating luminal and non-luminal breast cancer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Ti4+-doped V2O5 films with nanowires on top and a dense, long nanorod layer on the bottom were successfully fabricated using the spin-coating route. During the electrochromic cycling, charge transfer resistance (Rct) decreases while ion-diffusion ability (KΩ) rapidly drops in the first ten cycles and then levels off. Low Rct and morphology of nanowires collaboratively improved the electrochromic behavior of Ti4+-doped V2O5 films by enhancing the charge transfer speed and minimizing polarization and dissolution. The obtained Ti4+-doped V2O5 film shows better electrochromic properties than the undoped V2O5 film, with a coloration efficiency (CE) of 34.15 cm2/C, coloration time of 9.00 s, and cyclic retention of 82.6% at cycle 100. In contrast, the corresponding values for the undoped V2O5 film were 23.57 cm2/C, 13.16 s, and 43.6%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose: Chronic cervical muscle injury is the first common cause of the development of cervical spondylosis, and Tuina can effectively promote the repair of chronic cervical muscle injury and alleviate neck pain, but the mechanism behind its efficacy is still unknown. The proliferation and differentiation of muscle satellite cells and the apoptosis of cervical myocytes play important roles in the repair of chronic cervical muscle injuries; therefore, this study aimed to explore the potential mechanisms of Tuina to promote the repair of cervical muscle injuries in terms of the proliferation and differentiation of satellite cells and the apoptosis of myocytes. Patients and Methods: Twenty-eight Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group, model group, Tuina group, and meloxicam group, with 7 rats in each group. Except for the control group, each group were establish a chronic cervical muscle injury model (CCMI). Meloxicam (0.79 mg/kg) was administered by gavage, and in the Tuina group, pressure was applied to the Fengchi acupoint on the affected side once a day. Morphological changes of cervical muscle tissues were detected by ultrasonic diagnostic instrument and HE staining, electrophysiological recordings of electromyographic changes, apoptosis rate was detected by TUNEL staining, and positive expression of Bax, Bcl-2, IGF-1, MyoD, and Pax-7 were detected by Immunohistochemistry and Western blot. Results: In CCMI model rats, we observed that the cervical muscle fibers were disorganized, with irregular morphology, and the amplitude of electromyography was significantly weakened, while Tuina could significantly improve these symptoms and effectively promote the repair of chronic cervical muscle injury. Meanwhile, compared with the model group, Tuina could significantly increase the expression levels of IGF-1 (P< 0.01) and MyoD (P< 0.05) and decrease the expression level of Pax7 (P< 0.05). In addition, we found that the number of apoptotic cells in cervical myocytes was reduced after Tuina intervention (P< 0.05), and Tuina inhibited the expression of pro-apoptotic factor Bax (P< 0.01) and promoted the expression of anti-apoptotic factor Bcl-2 (P< 0.05). Conclusion: Tuina can promote the proliferation and differentiation of satellite cells to repair chronic cervical muscle injury by regulating the expression of Pax7, MyoD, and IGF-1, as well as inhibiting the expression of Bax and promoting the expression of Bcl-2 to ameliorate the apoptosis of cervical myocytes in CCMI model rats.
