To analyze the characteristics of acupoint catgut embedding methods, tools, catgut types, and the treatment cycles in the clinical research in recent ten years both at home and abroad, so as to summarize its regularities and to provide technical references for further studies.Articles about clinical researches on catgut embedding therapy published in recent ten years (from January 1, 2010 to December 31,2020) were retrieved from the databases of CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and PubMed by using key words of "acupoint embedding" "acupoint catgut embedding" and "catgut implantation at acupoint". According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a new database was established for analyzing the data mentioned above.1) A total of 1 196 articles were collected, including 15 English articles and 1 181 Chinese articles, presenting a fluctuating increasing trend in recent ten years. 2) The commonly used acupoint embedding methods included disposable catgut embedment needle method (399 times, 38.89%) and disposable syringe needle catgut embedding method (347 times, 33.82%), for which two or multiple methods were mentioned in the same one article. 3) The most frequently used top two tools for catgut embedding were the dispo-sable catgut embedment needle (463 times, 43.03%) and disposable syringe needle (406 times,37.73%), with a significant increase in the application of disposable syringe needle. The most commonly used size of tools included No. 7 (283 times, 39.86%), No. 9 (196 times, 27.61%) and No. 8 (109 times, 15.35%). 4) The most frequently implanted surgical suture was still the common catgut (671 times, 58.15%) despite of a reduction in clinical application year by year, and the types of the implanted suture materials were gradually enriched since 2018, such as the absorbable surgical suture, polyethylprolactide(PGLA), collagen protein thread, polydioxanone(PPDO), etc. The commonly used implanted catgut size was 3-0 (227 times, 30.15%), 2-0 (176 times, 23.37%), 4-0 (131 times, 17.40%), 0 (103 times, 13.68%), with the commonly used catgut length being 1 cm (332 times, 35.55%), 1.5 cm (103 times, 11.03%), 1-2 cm (92 times, 9.85%) and 2 cm (92 times, 9.85%). 5) The intervals of the catgut implantation were 7 days (313 times, 28.95%), 14 days (262 times, 24.24%), 10 days (174 times, 16.10%), and 15 days (162 times, 14.99%).In recent ten years, clinical research on acupoint catgut embedding is growing rapidly, and the embedding methods, tools, implanted sutures, and embedding intervals are various, which may provide certain technical references for the future researches and suggest an urgent need of formulation of the standardized and unified standards in this field.

To observe the effect of moxibustion combined with acupoint catgut embedding on the content of interleukin 6 (IL-6), and the expressions of janus activated kinase (JAK), signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) in colonic mucosa of rats with ulcerative colitis (UC), so as to explore its mechanism underlying improvement of UC.Thirty SD rats were randomly divided into normal, model, acupoint catgut embedding (ACE), moxibustion and acupoint catgut embedding combined with moxibustion (combination) groups (H.E. staining showed severe defect of the colonic mucosal epithelium with infiltration of a large number of inflammatory cells in the model group, which was milder in moxibustion, ACE and combination groups. After modeling, the content of colonic IL-6, and the expression levels of JAK and STAT3 were obviously increased (Acupoint catgut embedding combined with moxibustion can repair the injured colonic mucosa of UC rats, which may be related with its effect in suppressing the activation of IL-6/JAK/STAT3 signaling pathway.

In this paper, we consider the backward asymptotically autonomous dynamical behavior for fractional non-autonomous nonclassical diffusion equations driven by a Wong–Zakai approximations process in Hs(Rn) with s∈(0,1). We first prove the existence and backward time-dependent uniform compactness of tempered pullback random attractors when the growth rate of nonlinearities have a subcritical range. We then show that, under the Wong–Zakai approximations process, the components of the random attractors of a non-autonomous dynamical system in time can converge to those of the random attractor of the limiting autonomous dynamical system in Hs(Rn).

Background Based on “gut-brain axis” theory, we employed a rat 6-OHDA lesion model to examine the impact of gut-acupuncture on motor symptoms, the abundance of DA neurons in the SN, the hemodynamic characteristics of the carotid artery and SNH. Methods 6-OHDA-induced PD rats were treated with gut-acupuncture daily, starting day 15 after surgery. Mobility of the limbs was evaluated, abundance of TH + DA neurons in the SN detected, The diameter of carotid arteries and hemodynamic parameters measured by cervical vascular ultrasound CVUS, and TCS utilized to examine SNH. Results Our data show that gut-acupuncture correlates with significantly increased abundance of TH, a marker of DA neurons compared to untreated rats. Furthermore the area of SNH in the injured side of the acupuncture group was significantly reduced. PSV of LCCA, LICA, RICA showed that were significantly improved i.e. decreased in the acupuncture group, while the diameter of LICA and RCCA in acupuncture group was narrower. We also found that the PSV was significantly increased and the vascular diameter narrowed in LCCA and LICA during treatment, whereas after removing the acupuncture needle the PSV decreased and the vascular diameter widened. Conclusions Gut-acupuncture can reduce SNH and influence TH abundance in the SN which correlated with changes of hemodynamic characteristics of the lesioned side. We suggest a regulatory mechanism which may affect the vagus nerve through the ENS and cause the change of cervical hemodynamics. It further induces low oxygen tension microenvironment conducive to the proliferation of neural stem cells, which leads to the enrichment of TH in PD model rats of acupuncture group.

Objective To investigate the non⁃invasive evaluation of intracranial pressure (ICP) by transcranial Doppler ultrasound (TCD) in patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods The clinical data of 68 patients with TBI were retrospectively analyzed. Pulsatility index (PI) and optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD) were performed by TCD, simultaneous recording of ICP parameter one week after surgery. The relationship between ONSD, PI and ICP was analyzed by Pearson correlation analysis. The area under the curve (AUC) was used to evaluate the diagnostic sensitivity of ONSD and PI for prediction intracranial hypertension. Results One week after surgery,ICP was positively correlated with ONSD (r= 0.679, P=0.000). There was also a positive correlation between ONSD and ICP ≥ 20 mm Hg (r=0.665, P= 0.000) and ICP

Objective To analyze the risk factors for multiple transfusions in patients with moderate or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). Methods The clinical data of 53 patients undergoing decompressive craniectomy with moderate or severe TBI from January 2018 to June 2019 were analyzed. Coagulation indexes were tested before decompressive craniectomy. The factors associated with multiple transfusions were analyzed by univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis. Results Patients were divided into multiple transfusion group (11cases) and control group (42 cases, no transfusion or single transfusion). Thrombin time (P=0.041), international normalized ratio (P=0.048), fibrinogen degradation product (P=0.000) and D⁃dimer (P=0.001) in the multiple transfusion group were higher than those in the control group, while fibrinogen was lower than those in the control group (P=0.006). Logistic regression analysis showed that fibrinogen degradation product was a risk factor for multiple transfusions (OR=1.013, 95%CI:1.005-1.021; P=0.002). Conclusions Elevated fibrinogen degradation product is a risk factor for multiple transfusions in patients with moderate or severe TBI. DOI：10.3969/j.issn.1672⁃6731.2020.07.009

Objective To analyze the effect of propofol on cerebral blood flow (CBF) in patients with severe traumatic brain injury (sTBI). Methods A total of 60 patients of sTBI undergoing unilateral decompression craniectomy in the Department of Neurosurgery from January 2015 to April 2018 were reviewed. Patients were divided into control group (no propofol, but other types of sedatives were used) or propofol group (propofol was used without other types ofsedatives), according to whether they were treated with propofol after surgery. Each group contained 30 cases. Before and 2 h after the use of sedative drugs, the mean blood flow velocity (V mean) and resistivity index (RI) of the affected middle cerebral artery (MCA) were detected by ultrasound through the temporal skull defect, and adverse effects of propofol were recorded. Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) was used to evaluate long ⁃ term outcome, and mortality was also compared, after a 6 months follow⁃up. Results The Vmean of the affected MCA was decreased after using sedative in both the 2 groups of patients compared with before using it (P = 0.000), and there was no significant difference of RI observed in the affected MCA before and after sedative administration (P = 0.129). Compared with the control group, V mean (P = 0.000) and RI ( P = 0.033) in the MCA of propofol group were decreased after sedative administration. The outcomes of the propofol group and control group were (2.37 ± 0.81) score vs. (2.67 ± 0.76) score ( t = 1.482, P = 0.144) and the mortalities were 4 cases (13.33%) v s. 2 cases (6.67%; adju sted χ2 = 0.185, P = 0.667). Conclusions Propofol can improve CBF in patients with sTBI by reducing V meanand RI of the affected MCA, but it has no obvious effect on mortality and long ⁃ term outcome. To observe the effect of moxibustion, catgut embedding and acupuncture on allergic symptoms and expression of interferon-γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) of nasal mucosa in rats with allergic rhinitis (AR) based on acupoint injection, so as to explore their synergistic effect and related mechanism in relieving AR.SD rats (half male half female) were randomly divided into normal control, model, acupoint injection (AI), AI+moxibustion, AI+catgut embedding and AI+acupuncture groups, with 8 rats in each group. The AR model was established by intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin suspension (once every other day for 7 times), and intranasal drop of 0.5% ovalbumin solution (once daily for 7 days). After successful modeling, rats of the AI group received injection of a mixture solution of equal proportion of 1% lidocaine, dexamethasone and transfer factor into "Yingxiang" (LI20) and "Yintang" (EX-HN3) once every 4 days, 4 times altogether. Mild moxibustion or catgut embedment or manual acupuncture was applied to bilateral "Feishu" (BL13) and "Zusanli" (ST36). Both moxibustion (20 min every time) and acupuncture (with the needles retained for 30 min every time) were conducted once daily for 14 times, and catgut embedding was conducted once a week, twice altogether based on acupoint injection. The rats' nasal allergic reaction score (symptom score, 1-3 points) was given according to the times of nose scratching and sneezing, and the running nose state in 30 min, and histopathological changes of nasal mucosa were observed by H.E. staining. The expression levels of IFN-γ and IL-4 in the nasal mucosa were detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot, separately.Compared with the normal group, the symptom score and the expression of IL-4 positive cells and protein in nasal mucosa were significantly increased (Moxibustion or catgut embedment or acupuncture and AI have a synergistic effect in relieving symptoms of AR rats, which may be related to their function in regulating the expression levels of nasal IFN-γ and IL-4 proteins. The therapeutic effect of moxibustion is obviously superior to those of both acupuncture and catgut embedment.

Nitrogen (N) deposition significantly affects the growth and the function of invasive clonal plants. However, the effects of heterogeneous N supply with different frequencies on the growth and the potential contribution of clonal integration in invasion plants are still unclear, especially in the complex environment considering ramet damage. To address this question, apical and basal ramets of the clonal invader Hydrocotyle vulgaris were connected or disconnected, N was added to the basal ramets with a high frequency, a low frequency, or no supply, and the total N quantity was the same for the different frequency. Furthermore, 8 aphids were placed on the apical ramets, and 30% of each leaf was cut off to cause damage. The connection between ramets significantly increased the biomass, total carbon (C), and total N of the basal and apical ramets. Higher frequency N supply significantly increased the biomass, total C, and total N of the basal ramets and the entire clonal fragment biomass. The damage had no significant effect on the growth of basal and apical ramets. Especially, under the high N frequency and ramet damage condition, the connection between ramets more significantly increased the biomass, total C, and total N of the apical ramets and the entire clonal fragment biomass. In addition, the uptake rates of 15NH4+ and 15NO3- in H. vulgaris had no significant difference, and N supply increased the uptake rates of 15NH4+ and 15NO3- of the basal ramets. Our results suggest that both higher frequency N supply and clonal integration are beneficial to the growth of H. vulgaris. Moreover, the heterogeneous N supply with high frequency and ramet damage increases the benefits of clonal integration in H. vulgaris. These findings improve our understanding of the response of clonal invader H. vulgaris to nitrogen deposition and ramet damage.

In this study, we aimed to investigate treatment options and the prognosis of patients with mantle cell lymphoma in China. 805 patients diagnosed with MCL between April 1999 and December 2019 at 19 comprehensive hospitals in China were included in this retrospective analysis. The median age of the cohort was 60.0 years with a male-to-female ratio of 3.36:1. 5-year progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) rates were 30.9% and 65.0% respectively. High-intermediate/high risk group according to MIPI-c, without high-dose cytarabine, lack of Auto-SCT as consolidation and maintenance treatment and SD/PD in initial treatment remained statistically relevant to poor PFS on multivariate analysis (MVA), and ki67 ≥ 50%, B symtoms, high-intermediate/high risk group according to MIPI-c ,without high-dose cytarabine ,lack of maintenance treatment ,SD/PD in initial treatment and relapse/refractory state were independently associated with poorer OS on MVA. First-line high dose cytarabine exposure, auto-SCT as consolidation therapy obtained survival benefits in Chinese population. and our study further confirmed the value of maintenance treatment and explored the application of new drug treatment and bendamustine in R/R MCL patients.

Pituitary tumor-transforming gene-1 (PTTG1), one type of DNA repair-related gene, has been reported to be dysregulated in several tumors and serve as a tumor promotor. Previously, the oncogenic roles of PTTG1 were also reported in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). However, the prognostic values of PTTG1 in LUAD and the possible mechanism of its dysregulation have not been clarified. We analyzed TCGA datasets and reported that PTTG1 expression showed a distinct increase within LUAD specimens in comparison with nontumor specimens. Further survival study revealed that patients containing a great PTTG1 level had noticeably less overall survival and progression-free survival as compared with patients containing a low PTTG1 level. Multivariate analyses confirmed that PTTG1 expression was a factor of prognosis that is independent in terms of LUAD patients. Besides, PTTG1 methylation had a negative regulation on PTTG1, so PTTG1 had a high expressing level in LUAD tissues. However, the relation between hypermethylation and overall survival was not demonstrated using TCGA datasets. In addition, we observed that LUAD specimens with advanced stages exhibited a higher level of PTTG1. Finally, the dysregulated genes related to PTTG1 expression were screened, and KEGG assays revealed that the above genes were involved in the p53 signaling pathway, indicating the possible regulatory function of PTTG1 in the p53 signaling pathway. Overall, our findings suggest that PTTG1 may serve as an efficient clinical biomarker and a therapeutic target for patients suffering from LUAD.

A heterotetranuclear zinc(II)-cerium(IV) complex [(ZnL)2Ce(OAc)2][Ce(NO3)6] · Py (H2L = 6,6′-methoxy-2,2′-[1,2-ethylenedioxybis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol and Py = pyridine) is successfully prepared by a one-pot reaction of a Salamo-type ligand H2L with Zn(OAc)2·2H2O, Ce(NO3)3-6H2O, and an auxiliary ligand Py. The Znn-CeIV complex consists of one dicationic [(ZnL)2Ce(OAc)2]2+ unit with a deca-coordinated CeIV atom, one [Ce(NO3)6]2− dianionic unit with a dodeca-coordinated CeIV atom, and one uncoordinated Py molecule. Interestingly, the two CeIV atoms are positive tetravalent, which may probably be due to the oxidation of trivalent Cem atoms during the reaction. Moreover, the photophysical properties of the Znn-CeIV complex are studied.

Eco-industrial parks could play a positive role in reducing consumption of natural resources and environmental pollution by circular economic development, improving the ecological environment, and enhancing the capacity for sustainable development of economic development zones. However, assessing the ecological and economic efficiency of eco-industrial parks inevitably encounters difficulties, such as the comparability of analysis objects, the unification of dimensions, and the determination of the scope of calculations. These problems can be solved based on emergy analysis methods, specifically by the collection of information on the natural environment, geography, society, and economy of industrial parks. Furthermore, the analysis of the status quo of eco-economy systems in eco-industrial parks can be conducted by means of emergy analysis. This paper analyzes the circular economic sustainability of Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone by the emergy ternary diagram. Eco-industrial parks can be scientifically planned to improve the structure, function, and efficiency of the park’s complex ecosystem. The method of emergy ternary diagram can effectively evaluate the eco-economic efficiency of the industrial agglomeration area. An emergy ternary diagram intuitively reflects the system’s resource allocation. With the aid of the emergy ternary diagram, the analysis on the relationship between the ratio of energy use of system resources and the indicators can not only fully evaluate the sustainability of the existing industrial agglomeration system, but also can predict the future development direction of the system. For the selection of development paths, more explicit direction indications and references are provided, and the application of the emergy theory is more scientific in program optimization, decision-making, and selection.

To compare the efficacy and feasibility of using a modified Glasgow coma scale (GCS) score of 13 or 15 as the criterion for switching chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with respiratory failure to sequential invasive-noninvasive ventilation.COPD patients with respiratory failure who had undergone endotracheal intubation and invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) between June 2017 and June 2020 at 4 different hospitals in China were included. A total of 296 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. In group A, the patients were extubated and immediately placed on noninvasive ventilation (NIV) when the modified GCS score reached 13. In group B, the same was done when the modified GCS score reached 15.No significant differences in the mean blood pressure, oxygenation index, arterial partial pressure of oxygen, and arterial partial pressure of carbon dioxide were seen between groups A and B before extubation and 3 hours after NIV. The re-intubation times were also similar in the 2 groups. Compared to group B, the length of hospital stay, incidence of ventilator associated pneumonia, and time of invasive ventilation were all significantly lower in group A (P = .041, .001,.001).Using a modified GCS score of 13 as the criterion for switching from IMV to NIV can significantly reduce the duration of IMV, length of hospital stay, and incidence of ventilator associated pneumonia in COPD patients with respiratory failure.
