110. LncRNA SNHG1 enhances cell proliferation, migration, and invasion in cervical cancer

Abstract

Objective: This study investigated the effects of lncRNA SNHG1 on the proliferation, migration, and invasiveness of cervical cancer cells. Methods: Three pairs of cervical cancer tissue samples and their corresponding adjacent samples were analyzed using Human LncRNA Microarray V3.0 chip for differential analysis. The expression of SNHG1 in cervical cancer cell lines was verified by qRT-PCR. CCK8 assays and colony formation assays were used to study the changes in cell proliferation. Cell migration and Transwell assays were used to study changes in cell migration and invasiveness. Results: SNHG1 was highly expressed in cervical cancer tissues and cervical cancer cell lines. SNHG1 siRNA could knock-down the expression level of SNHG1 in cervical cancer cell lines HeLa and C33-A. After knock-down of SNHG1, cell proliferation and migration as well as invasiveness in HeLa and C-33A cells decreased. Conclusion: LncRNA SNHG1 promotes the development of cervical cancer cells. Key words: cervical cancer, lncRNA, SNHG1. Objectif : Cette étude a examiné les effets de l'ARN long non codant SNHG1 sur la prolifération, la migration et l'invasion du cancer du col utérin. Méthodes: Trois paires d'échantillons de tissus cancéreux du col utérin et leurs échantillons correspondants adjacents ont été analysés sur la puce d'ARN longs non codants V3,0 à des fins d'analyse différentielle. L'expression de SNHG1 dans les lignées de cancer de col utérin a été vérifiéé par qRT-PCR. Un dosage réalisé à l'aide de la trousse CCK8 et un test de formation de colonies ont été utilisés pour étudier les changements dans la prolifération cellulaire. Des tests de migration cellulaire et sur une plaque à multicupules (Transwell) ont été réalisés pour étudier les changements dans la migration cellulaire et dans la capacité d'invasion des cellules. Résultats : SNHG1 était fortement exprimé dans les tissus cancéreux du col utérin et dans les lignées de cancer du col utérin. Un ARNic spécifique à SNHG1 pouvait abroger l'expression de SNHG1 dans les lignées de cancer du col utérin HeLa et C33-A. À la suite du knockdown de SNHG1, la prolifération, la migration et l'invasion par les cellules HeLa et C33-A étaient diminuées. Conclusion : L'ARN long non codant SNHG1 favorisait la progression des cellules cancéreuses du col utérin. 128. Molecular-level insight on CO2 electroreduction to formate facilitated by triazole ionic liquid interfacial microhabitat

Abstract

The interfacial microhabitat induced by triazole ionic liquid ([124Triz]−) electrolyte can effectively enhance formate selectivity for electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction. However, the catalytic mechanism remains unclear. Herein, we combined molecular dynamics simulation and density functional theory to reveal the regulatory mechanism. The results showed that the dipolar interaction between CO2 and [124Triz]− cooperating the hydrogen bonds between [124Triz]− and H2O facilitate the accumulation of H atoms around C atoms of CO2. Meanwhile, the strong polar [124Triz]− induces negative electrostatic potential for the H atoms of H2O near anions. As a result, the negative H atoms are more likely to attack the positive C atoms of CO2, which results in a lower free energy of -0.10 eV for the formation of *HCOO intermediate and promotes the formation of formate. Thus, the [124Triz]− contributes to high formate selectivity owing to the combined effects of strong CO2-dipole interaction and hydrogen bonds with H2O.

129. Selective CO2 separation through physicochemical absorption by triazole-functionalized ionic liquid binary absorbents

Abstract

Selective separation of CO2 from CH4-containing gases is crucial for the production of clean energy gases. In this work, the triazole anion-functionalized ionic liquids (TAFILs) consisting of cations with low molecular weight and triazole anion with N electronegative site were synthesized, and further combined with physical solvents to form the physicochemical absorbents. The results indicated that CO2 solubility of [Cho][Triz]/TMS (80 wt%/20 wt%) is not only equal to that of 30 wt% MEA solution at 40°C and 1 bar, but also its low enthalpy is -35.76 kJ/mol and less than half of 30 wt% MEA solution. Meanwhile, superhigh CO2/CH4 selectivity of 191.0 higher than reported absorbents is simultaneously obtained for [Cho][Triz]/TMS (80 wt%/20 wt%). Such great comprehensive performance of CO2 separation was attributed to relatively weak chemical and physical interaction between CO2 and TAFIL binary absorbents. This work may provide promising IL absorbents for CO2 capture applications from natural gases.

Abstract

BackgroundVertebral–basilar artery dissecting aneurysms (VADAs) are an uncommon phenomenon in all fields of cerebrovascular disease. The flow diverter (FD) can be used as an endoluminal reconstruction device that promotes neointima formation at the aneurysmal neck and preserves the parent artery. To date, imaging examinations such as CT angiography, MR angiography, and DSA are the main methods used to evaluate the vasculature of patients. However, none of these imaging methods can reveal the situation of neointima formation, which is of great importance in evaluating occlusion of VADAs, especially those treated with a FD.MethodsThree patients were included in the study from August 2018 to January 2019. All patients underwent preprocedural, postprocedural, and follow-up evaluations with high resolution MRI, DSA, and optical coherence tomography (OCT), as well as the formation of intima on the surface of the scaffold at the 6 month follow-up.ResultsPreprocedural, postoperative, and follow-up high resolution MRI, DSA, and OCT of all three cases successfully evaluated occlusion of the VADAs and occurrence of in stent stenosis from different views of intravascular angiography and neointima formation.ConclusionsOCT was feasible and useful to further evaluate VADAs treated with FD from a near pathological perspective, which may contribute toward guiding the duration of antiplatelet medication and early intervention of in stent stenosis.

Abstract

Modulating the coordination environment of single‐atom catalysts (SACs) is an attractive approach for maximizing the catalytic activity of single‐atom centers. Currently, the synthesis of low‐coordinated SACs is mainly confined to increasing the pyrolysis temperature (≥900 °C) to control C─N volatile fragments. Herein, a novel and universal strategy for the low‐coordinated SACs modulation is presented using transition metal (e.g., Ni, Co, Zn) ionic liquid precursors under relatively mild temperature of 600 °C, which regulates the L‐shell electronic structure and decreases nearly 50% electrophilic reactivity by ionization of 4‐position N atom, thereby orienting synthesis of the SACs with metal‐N3 centers. The Ni‐N3 SACs exhibit exceptional CO2 electroreduction performance of 99.7% CO Faraday efficiency with an ultra‐high CO partial current density of 467.55 mA·cm−2 as well as a CO production rate up to 10417.51 µmol·h−1·cm−2 in flow cell. The superior catalytic activity achieves over twofold increase compared with the Ni‐N4 SACs prepared by non‐metal ionic liquid precursors due to the lower free energy of the key intermediate *COOH and the stronger adsorption energy.
