A amostra foi composta por 620 partidas, 380 partidas do Campeonato Brasileiro e 240 partidas nas duas primeiras fases de 2015 a 2018 da Copa do Brasil. O efeito da idade relativa é fator importante diante do processo de formação de atletas, principalmente quando se é considerado fatores que dizem respeito ao desenvolvimento físico e cognitivo dos atletas. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar o efeito da idade relativa na Copa do Mundo FIFA® Sub-20 masculina, disputada em 2019. Para isso, foi realizada a análise da data de nascimento de cada atleta das 24 seleções que disputaram o mundial, sendo os atletas divididos em quartis: Q1 (janeiro-março), Q2 (abril-junho), Q3 (julho-setembro) e Q4 (outubro-dezembro). Foi possível observar que a maior parte dos atletas estavam situados nos quartis Q1 e Q2, sendo, do total da amostra, 37,97% e 26,94%, respectivamente. Não foram encontradas diferenças entre os quartis Q2 e Q3. Quando foram analisados somente os atletas classificados para a segunda fase do Mundial, nota-se comportamento semelhante à análise do total de atletas, não sendo encontradas diferenças somente entre os quartis Q2 e Q3. Quando foram analisados somente os atletas desclassificados na primeira fase do Mundial, foram encontradas diferenças entre os quartis Q1 e Q2; Q2 e Q3; Q2 e Q4; Q3 e Q4. Conclui-se que durante o mundial o efeito da idade relativa esteve presente, onde houve uma prevalência de atletas nascidos no Q1 em relação aos demais. Além disso, as diferenças entre os quartis analisados foram mais pronunciadas nos atletas das equipes classificadas para a segunda fase do torneio.

Abstract Background Fungal infections associated with the use of dentures, like denture stomatitis, are difficult to prevent and treat. This in situ study aimed to investigate the efficacy of cinnamaldehyde for the disinfection of complete removable dentures, and the effect on the physical and mechanical properties (Vickers microhardness, color, and surface roughness) of the acrylic resin. Methods Acrylic resin disks were inserted into the dentures of a probabilistic sample of 33 complete denture users, that used cinnamaldehyde (27 μg/mL) and 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solutions in a 20 min/7-days protocol of dentures immersion in each solution, with a wash-out period of 7 days, to constitute a crossover-study. The disks were analyzed before and after the immersion, for the presence of microorganisms (CFU/mL) and by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Also, the surface roughness (Ra) and Vickers microhardness were measured, and color parameters were analyzed using the National Bureau of Standards (NBS) method. Data was analyzed by Wilcoxon and Friedman (microbiological evaluation), paired t-test (color and roughness) and independent t-test (Vickers hardness) (α = 0.05). Results A significant reduction (P 0.05) between hypochlorite and cinnamaldehyde. There was an increase in the roughness and a decrease in the hardness of the test specimens, with no difference between the two disinfectant substances (P > 0.05). Both hypochlorite and cinnamaldehyde also caused changes in color, considered as “perceptible” by the NBS classification, but with no significant difference between disinfectant substances (P

Abstract Objective: to understand mothers' bereavement experiences regarding the loss of their newborn child in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a Brazilian university hospital. Methods: the study was designed by the clinical-qualitative method to understand the meaning of the emerging relationships of health scenarios. Sample consisted of six mothers. The sufficiency of the sample was verified through the saturation of the data. The data collection instrument was a semistructured interview with script of open questions, the collected material was recorded and transcribed in full. Thematic analysis was performed by two independent authors. Results: feelings and perceptions of the grieving process gave rise to three categories: 1. Guilt and fantasy of bereavement related to the death and grief for their children; 2. Relationships and ambiguities - the relationship between internal concerns and perception of external relations; 3. Fear, disbelief, abandonment and loneliness - questions about perception of the external environment. Conclusions: mothers' bereavement experience is mainly permeated by loneliness and abandonment related to feelings of guilt for not being able to keep their children alive. The difficult and definitive separation in the postpartum period, caused by death, brings fantasies of reunion with their child. Women show the need to realize grief, especially by recognizing their baby's identity.

Abstract The main mammalian heart pacemakers are spindle‐shaped cells compressed into tangles within protective layers of collagen in the sino‐atrial node (SAN). Two cell types, “dark” and “light,” differ on their high or low content of intermediate filaments, but share scarcity of myofibrils and a high content of glycogen. Sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) is scarce. The free SR (fSR) occupies 0.04% of the cell volume within ~0.4 µm wide peripheral band. The junctional SR (jSR), constituting peripheral couplings (PCs), occupies 0.03% of the cell volume. Total fSR + jSR volume is 0.07% of cell volume, lower than the SR content of ventricular myocytes. The average distance between PCs is 7.6 µm along the periphery. On the average, 30% of the SAN cells surfaces is in close proximity to others. Identifiable gap junctions are extremely rare, but small sites of close membrane‐to‐membrane contacts are observed. Possibly communication occurs via these very small sites of contact if conducting channels (connexons) are located within them. There is no obvious anatomical detail that might support ephaptic coupling. These observations have implications for understanding of SAN cell physiology, and require incorporation into biophysically detailed models of SAN cell behavior that currently do not include such features.

BackgroundPatients with end-stage renal disease are known to be particularly frail, and the cause is still widely seen as being directly related to specific factors in renal replacement therapy. However, a closer examination of the transitional phase from predialysis to long-term hemodialysis leads to controversial explanations, considering that the frailty process is already well-described in the early stages of renal insufficiency. This study aims to describe longitudinally and multifactorially changes in the period extending from the decision to start the replacement therapy through to the end of 2 years of hemodialysis. We hypothesized that frailty is pre-existent in the predialysis phase and does not worsen with the beginning of the replacement therapy. Between 2015 and 2018 we recruited 25 patients (72.3 ± 5.7 years old) in a predialysis program, with the expectation that replacement therapy would begin within the coming few months.MethodsThe patients underwent a baseline visit before starting hemodialysis, with 4 follow-up visits in the first 2 years of treatment. Health status, physical performance, cognitive functioning, hematology parameters, and adverse events were monitored during the study period.ResultsAt baseline, our sample had a high variability with patients ranging from extremely frail to very fit. In the 14 participants that did not drop out of the study, out of 32 clinical and functional measures, a statistically significant worsening was only observed in the Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) score (p < 0.01, F = 8.50) and the number of comorbidities (p = 0.01, F = 3.94). A careful analysis, however, reveals a quite stable situation in the first year of replacement therapy, for both frail and fit participants and a deterioration in the second year that in frail participants could lead to death.ConclusionOur results should stimulate a reassessment about the role of a predialysis program in reducing complications during the transitional phase, but also about frailty prevention programs once hemodialysis has begun, for both frail and fit patients, to maintain satisfactory health status.

Abstract The present study investigated the effects of aerobic physical training on the femoral morphological, densitometric and biomechanical properties in growing male rats subjected to protein-based malnutrition. Four-week-old male Wistar rats were randomized into groups of 10 animals: Control Sedentary (CS), Control Trained (CT), Malnourished Sedentary (MS) and Malnourished Trained (MT). Control and malnourished animals received diets with 12% protein and 6% protein, respectively. The trained groups were submitted to a treadmill running program for 8 weeks. Total proteins and albumin were analyzed in the animals' blood plasma. Histological, densitometric and biomechanical analyzes were performed on the animals' femur. Body mass gain, physical performance, biochemical markers and the femoral morphological, densitometric and biomechanical properties were determined. Exercise tolerance increased in trained groups. Malnourished animals exhibited lower serum protein and albumin levels than controls. Porosity and trabecular bone density were not different between groups. The femoral maximum load, maximum load until fracture, resilience, stiffness, tenacity and densitometric properties were reduced by malnutrition. Physical training associated with malnutrition exacerbated the impairment in the femoral maximum load, maximum load until fracture, bone mineral content and density. Aerobic physical training worsens the damages induced by protein-based malnutrition in the femoral biomechanical and densitometric properties of growing male rats.

Patients on dialysis are at risk of severe course of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Understanding the neutralizing activity and coverage of SARS-CoV-2 variants of vaccine-elicited antibodies is required to guide prophylactic and therapeutic COVID-19 interventions in this frail population. By analyzing plasma samples from 130 hemodialysis and 13 peritoneal dialysis patients after two doses of BNT162b2 or mRNA-1273 vaccines, we found that 35% of the patients had low-level or undetectable IgG antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 Spike (S). Neutralizing antibodies against the vaccine-matched SARS-CoV-2 and Delta variant were low or undetectable in 49% and 77% of patients, respectively, and were further reduced against other emerging variants. The fraction of non-responding patients was higher in SARS-CoV-2-naïve hemodialysis patients immunized with BNT162b2 (66%) than those immunized with mRNA-1273 (23%). The reduced neutralizing activity correlated with low antibody avidity. Patients followed up to 7 months after vaccination showed a rapid decay of the antibody response with an average 21- and 10-fold reduction of neutralizing antibodies to vaccine-matched SARS-CoV-2 and Delta variant, which increased the fraction of non-responders to 84% and 90%, respectively. These data indicate that dialysis patients should be prioritized for additional vaccination boosts. Nevertheless, their antibody response to SARS-CoV-2 must be continuously monitored to adopt the best prophylactic and therapeutic strategy.

Graphene and its derivatives have lately been the subject of increased attention for different environmental applications of membrane technology such as water treatment and air filtration, exploiting their antimicrobial and antiviral activity. They are interesting candidates as membrane materials for their outstanding mechanical and chemical stability and for their thin two-dimensional (2D) nanostructure with potential pore engineering for advanced separation. All these applications have evolved and diversified from discovery to today, and now graphene and graphene derivatives also offer fascinating opportunities for the fight against infective diseases such as COVID-19 thanks to their antimicrobial and antiviral properties. This paper presents an overview of graphene-based 2D materials, their preparation and use as membrane material for applications in water treatment and in respiratory protection devices.

OBJECTIVE: To assess the possible factors that influence sleep quality in adolescents with and without chronic immunosuppressive conditions quarantined during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. METHODS: This cross-sectional study included 305 adolescents with chronic immunocompromised conditions and 82 healthy adolescents. Online surveys were completed, which included questions on socio-demographic data and self-rated healthcare routine during COVID-19 quarantine and the following validated questionnaires: the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory 4.0 (PedsQL4.0), and Pediatric Outcome Data Collection Instrument (PODCI). RESULTS: The median current age [14 (10-18) vs. 15 (10-18) years, p=0.847] and frequency of female sex (62% vs. 58%, p=0.571) were similar in adolescents with chronic conditions compared with healthy adolescents. The frequency of poor sleep quality was similar in both groups (38% vs. 48%, p=0.118). Logistic regression analysis, including both healthy adolescents and adolescents with chronic conditions (n=387), demonstrated that self-reported increase in screen time (odds ratio [OR] 3.0; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.3-6.8; p=0.008) and intrafamilial violence report (OR 2.1; 95% CI 1.2-3.5; p=0.008) were independently associated with poor sleep quality in these adolescents. However, the PODCI global function score was associated with a lower OR for poor sleep quality (OR 0.97; 95% CI 0.94-0.99; p=0.001). Further logistic regression, including only adolescents with chronic conditions (n=305), demonstrated that self-reported increase in screen time (OR 3.1; 95% CI 1.4-6.8; p=0.006) and intrafamilial violence report (OR 2.0; 95% CI 1.2-3.4; p=0.011) remained independently associated with poor quality of sleep, whereas a lower PODCI global function score was associated with a lower OR for sleep quality (OR 0.96; 95% CI 0.94-0.98; p

Modern electric power systems consist of large-scale, highly complex interconnected systems projected to match the intense demand growth for electrical energy. This involves the decision of generation, transmission, and distribution of resources at different time horizons. They also face challenges in incorporating new forms of generation, distributed generations, which are located close to consumer centers, and new loads such as electric vehicles. Traditionally, the nonlinear Newton–Raphson optimization method is used to support operational decisions in such systems, known as Optimal Power Flow (OPF). Although OPF is one of the most practically important and well-researched sub-fields of constrained nonlinear optimization and has a rich history of research, it faces the convergence difficulties associated with all problems represented using non-linear power flow constraints. The proposal is to present an approach in a software component in cloud Application Programming Interface (API) format, with alternative modeling of the electrical optimization problem as a non-linear objective function and representing electric network constraints modeled through both current and voltage Kirchhoff linear equations. This representation overcomes the non-linearity of the OPF problem considering Distributed Energy Resources (DER). The robustness, scalability, and availability of the method are tested on the IEEE-34 bus system with several modifications to accommodate the DER testing under conditions and in radial or meshed distribution systems under different load scenarios.

Background: The search for new drug compounds is always challenging and there are several different strategies that involve the most varied and creative approaches in medicinal chemistry. One of them is the technique of molecular hybridisation: forming a hybrid compound from two or more pharmacophoric subunits. These hybrids may maintain the characteristics of the original compound and preferably show improvements to its pharmacological action, with reduced side effects and lower toxicity when compared to the original components. This study specifically focuses on synthesising hybrid molecules which demonstrate trypanocidal activity against the epimastigote and trypomastigote forms of Trypanosoma cruzi. Methods: In this context, this study centres on the synthesis of a novel structural scaffold via molecular hybridisation; by using a triazole species to link a metronidazole unit to a eugenol analogue unit, the objective being to combine their therapeutic properties into a new molecular structure. The resulting hybrid molecules were evaluated against T. cruzi which is responsible for high incidences of trypanosomiasis in tropical countries such as Brazil. Results: The results of this study showed an improvement in the anti-parasitic activity of the hybrid compounds with the best result coming from hybrid compounds [8] and [9], which present an activity similar to the control drug benznidazole. The new compounds, utilising a triazole species as a coupling connector, demonstrated promising results and has highlighted the path for planning similar structural patterns to investigate new compounds. Conclusions: In summary, we can conclude that the synthesised hybrid compounds demonstrate that using a triazole to link metronidazole with natural phenols, produces hybrid molecules that are promising as a new class of compounds of therapeutic interest for further investigation.

Two different hybrid nanosystems are prepared by loading highly crystalline, monodisperse magnetite nanocubes (MNCs) with phosphorescent Pt(II) complexes (PtCxs). One involves the encapsulation of the hydrophobic PtCx1 within an amphiphilic comb polymer (MNC@poly(maleic anhydride‐alt‐1‐octadecene) [PMAO]–PtCx1), whereas the other involves the direct binding of the hydrophilic PtCx2 to the surface of the MNC mediated by a ligand‐exchange procedure (MNC@OH–PtCx2). Both systems are evaluated as potential candidates for multimodal imaging in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and photoluminescence lifetime imaging micro(spectro)scopy (PLIM). PLIM measurements on agarose phantoms demonstrate significantly longer excited‐state lifetimes compared to the short‐lived autofluorescence of biological background. Additionally, both nanosystems perform as effective MRI contrast agents (CAs): the r2* values are 3–4 times higher than for the commercial CA ferucarbotran. MNC@PMAO–PtCx1 particles also cause significant increases in r2. While the ligand exchange procedure efficiently anchors PtCxs to the MNC surface, the polymeric encapsulation ensures higher colloidal stability, contributing to differences in PLIM and MRI outcomes. In these results, the successful integration of two complementary noninvasive imaging modalities within a single nanosystem is confirmed, serving as the impetus for further investigation of such systems as advanced multimodal–multiscale imaging agents with dual orthogonal readouts. Abstract Despite the immunotherapeutics and target therapy agents, the survival of patients with advanced melanoma is still low. Notch signaling is able to regulate many aspects of melanomagenesis. Comparative analyses of common melanocytic nevi, dysplastic nevi and melanomas demonstrated increased expression of Notch1, Notch2 and their ligands, indicating that a positive regulation of these components may be related to the progression of melanoma. Some strategies such as gamma-secretase inhibitors (GSI) have been explored in patients with refractory metastatic disease or locally advanced disease of solid tumors. Two major classes of Notch inhibitors are currently in clinical development: GSI and monoclonal antibodies against Notch receptors or their ligands. Inhibition of Notch by GSI has been shown to decrease melanoma growth. GSI RO4929097 co-administered with cisplatin, vinblastine and temozolomide promotes greater elimination of tumor cells. The Notch pathway needs to be explored in the treatment of melanoma.

Introduction and Objectives: Stem cell therapy and aerobic exercise are non-pharmacological therapies following myocardial infarction. The aim of this study was to test whether aerobic exercise training enhances the benefits of mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy on remodeling of the extracellular matrix and fetal gene expression in the left ventricle of infarcted rats. Methods: Myocardial infarction was surgically induced in six-week old male Wistar rats. Animals were divided into four groups: sedentary control (SC) and sedentary and stem cell treated (SCMSC); exercised (EX) and exercised and stem cell treated (EXMSC). Bone marrow-derived MSCs were immediately transplanted via the tail vein (concentration: 1×106 cells). Exercise training (five days/week, 60 min/day; 60% of maximal running speed) started 24 hours after myocardial infarction and lasted for 12 weeks. Results: Exercise capacity was higher in exercised than in sedentary groups. Animals in the SCMSC, EX and EXMSC groups exhibited better cardiac function than those in SC. Collagen content was lower in the SCMSC, EX and EXMSC groups than in SC and skeletal α-actin expression was lower in EX and EXMSC than in SC. The α/β-MHC ratio was higher in EX and EXMSC than in SC. The combination of therapies further reduced collagen content in the remote region of the infarct (∼24%) and skeletal α-actin expression (∼30%). Conclusion: Aerobic exercise training appears to enhance the beneficial effects of stem cell therapy on remodeling of the extracellular matrix and fetal gene expression in the left ventricle of rats with moderate infarction. Resumo: Introdução e objetivos: Terapia com células estromais e exercício aeróbio são estratégias não farmacológicas no tratamento pós-enfarte do miocárdio. O objetivo foi testar se o treinamento aeróbio amplia os benefícios da terapia com células mesenquimais estromais (CME) na remodelagem da matriz extracelular e na expressão de genes fetais no ventrículo esquerdo de ratos enfartados. Métodos: O enfarte do miocárdio foi induzido cirurgicamente em ratos com seis semanas de idade, divididos em quatro grupos: sedentário controle (SC) e tratado com CME (SCCME); exercício (EX) e exercício tratado com CME (EXCME). CME derivadas da medula óssea foram transplantadas através da veia caudal (concentração: 1 x 106 células). O treinamento aeróbio (5 dias/semana; 60 min/dia; 60% da velocidade máxima de corrida) iniciou 24 h após enfarte do miocárdio e durou 12 semanas. Resultados: A capacidade de exercício foi maior nos grupos exercitados que nos sedentários. Os grupos SCCME, EX e EXCME apresentaram melhor função cardíaca do que o SC. O conteúdo de colagénio foi menor nos grupos SCCME, EX e EXCME que no SC. A expressão da α-actina esquelética foi menor nos grupos EX e EXCME, comparada à do SC. A razão miosina de cadeia pesada α/β foi maior nos grupos EX e EXCME, comparada à do SC. A combinação das terapias reduziu ainda mais o conteúdo de colagénio na região remota (∼24%) e a expressão de α-actina esquelética (∼30%). Conclusão: O treinamento aeróbio parece potencializar os benefícios da terapia com células mesenquimais estromais na remodelagem da matriz extracelular do ventrículo esquerdo e expressão de genes fetais em ratos com enfarte moderado. After Maillart's concrete curved arch bridges were built before the Second World War, in the second half of the past century and this century, many curved bridges have been built with both steel and concrete. Conversely, since the construction of Musmeci's shell supported bridge in Potenza, few shell bridges have been constructed. This paper explains how to design a curved footbridge supported by an anticlastic shell by shaping the shell via a thrust network analysis (TNA). By taking advantage of the peculiar properties of anticlastic membranes, the unconventional method of shaping a shell by a TNA is illustrated. The shell top edge that supports the deck has an assigned layout, which is provided by the road curved layout. The form of the bottom edge is obtained by the form-finding procedure as a thrust line, by applying the thrust network analysis (TNA) in a non-standard manner, shaping the shell by applying the boundary conditions and allowing relaxation. The influence of the boundary conditions on the bridge shape obtained as an envelope of thrust lines is investigated. A finite element analysis was performed. The results indicate that the obtained shell form is effective in transferring deck loads to foundations via compressive stresses and taking advantage of concrete mechanical properties. O objetivo do presente estudo foi avaliar e comparar os níveis de aptidão física relacionada à saúde em praticantes e não praticantes de natação, residentes em uma cidade de pequeno porte do interior de Minas Gerais. Foram avaliadas crianças com idade entre 7 e 10 anos, praticantes e não praticantes de natação. Para a obtenção dos dados, foi utilizada a bateria de testes do PROESP-BR referente à aptidão física relacionada à saúde. Para análise estatística, utilizou-se o teste de Shapiro-Wilk, seguido do teste t de Student para comparação das médias entre os dois grupos avaliados. O nível de significância adotado foi de 5%. Os resultados demonstraram que a prática da natação foi capaz de melhorar a flexibilidade, a resistência abdominal e a resistência geral, sem modificação do índice de massa corporal (IMC), envergadura, perímetro de cintura e relação cintura/estatura nas crianças praticantes, quando comparadas às não praticantes. Concluiu-se que crianças que praticam natação melhoraram a aptidão física relacionada à saúde. ABSTRACT Level of physical fitness related to health in children swimming practicers The aim of the present study was to evaluate and compare the levels of health - related physical fitness among swimmers and non - swimmers living in a small city in the interior of Minas Gerais. We evaluated children aged 7 to 10 years, athletes and non-swimming athletes. To obtain the data, a battery of PROESP-BR tests was used for physical fitness related to health. For statistical analysis, the Shapiro-Wilk test was used, followed by the Student's T test to compare the means between the two groups evaluated. The level of significance was 5%. The results demonstrated that swimming practice was able to improve flexibility, abdominal resistance and general resistance, without modification of body mass index (BMI), wingspan, waist circumference and waist / height ratio in practicing children, when compared to non-practitioners. It was concluded that children who practice swimming improved physical fitness related to health.

The dynamic response of long structures (e.g., bridges) is sensitive to the spatial variability of strong ground motion (asynchronous motion). Ground motion differences increase from point to point with increasing foundation distance. This latter is due to two physical phenomena: soil-wave interaction, that causes the loss of coherence and local amplification; wave traveling with finite velocity, that causes signals time lag. This ground motion variability produces a different structural demand compared to the synchronous one, which is the only one considered by designers in the majority of cases. A few codes consider this type of actions, therefore further research efforts are necessary. In this study, asynchronous ground motions are generated by means of a new generation procedure implemented in the software GAS 2.0 using as input the simultaneous strong motion records from the April 6th, 2009, L'Aquila (Italy) at the seismic stations AQA and AQV, located in the Aterno River valley. These records are used to calibrate the generation model and to produce sets of asynchronous earthquake sampling. The asynchronous earthquake sets are applied on a typical highway reinforced concrete bridge to study its dynamic response considering two different configurations: non-isolated with traditional supports and isolated bridge with lead rubber bearings. The bridge is placed in two positions along the wave propagation direction: a position near one recording station and a position between the two stations to consider local soil effects. The response parameters investigated are the maximum relative displacements of soil and deck. The results show that there is an important variation of relative displacement along the direction of wave propagation due to asynchronous motion with effects that designer should consider for the structural details design of isolated and non-isolated bridges. Os diversos componentes do futebol interagem entre si, afetando o rendimento final nos atletas praticantes da modalidade. Dentre esses, destaca-se a capacidade técnica. Dessa forma, faz-se necessária a avaliação dos componentes técnicos de uma equipe de futebol. O estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o desempenho técnico de adolescentes da categoria Sub-15 de duas escolinhas de futebol. Os atletas foram divididos conforme seus ambientes de prática, em Grupo A e Grupo B. Inicialmente, foi realizado um teste de normalidade de Shapiro-Wilk entre os grupos avaliados. Posteriormente, foi utilizado o teste T de Student para avaliar a diferença entre o Grupo A e Grupo B. Para avaliação, utilizou-se o Teste Específico de Habilidades e Destrezas Globais no Futebol, composto por três etapas: avaliação do drible, passe e chute. Os resultados evidenciaram que as capacidades técnicas passem e chute foram similares entre os dois grupos avaliados. A capacidade técnica drible obteve melhor desempenho no Grupo A. Concluiu-se que somente houve diferença entre os grupos para a variável drible, a qual, dentre os componentes avaliados, é a mais dependente de qualidades físicas. ABSTRACT Evaluation of the technique of soccer players of the sub-15 category in different practice environments The various components of soccer interact with each other, affecting the final performance in the athletes practicing the sport. It emphasizes the technical capacity. In this way, it is necessary to evaluate the technical components of a soccer team. The aim of the study was evaluated for the technical performance of adolescents of the sub-15 category of two soccer schools. The athletes were divided according to their practice environments in Group A and Group B. Initially, a Shapiro-Wilk normality test was performed between the groups. Afterwards, the Student's t-test was used to evaluate the difference between Group A and Group B. For the evaluation, we used the Specific Test of Global Abilities in Soccer, composed of three stages: evaluation of dribbling, passing and kicking. The results showed that the technical skills of the pass and kick were similar between the two groups. The technical ability to dribble obtained better performance in Group A. It was concluded that there was only difference between the groups for the variable dribble, which, among the components evaluated, is the most dependent on physical qualities.

Introduction The generalist assistance at the Primary Attention is fundamental to face the increase of type 2 diabetes mellitus cases through the relationship physician-patient. This sets the therapeutic plan and its continuous review. Therapeutic Plan could be affected by the same psychocultural phenomena related to the increasing cases numbers of DM2. Therefore, new trends in Medical Psychology have been promoted during medical undergraduate course. These incorporate methods and concepts of Liberal Arts to develop specific psychosocial management skills to DM2 clinic. Objectives AIM: To understand the experience of medical students in the simulated care of DM2 cases in two different moments: 1) to diagnose and start treatment; 2) start insulinization. Methods METHOD: Clinical-Qualitative design; data collected through an semidirected interview of open-end questions in depth; thematic analysis generated categories discussed in light of Medical Psychology of psychodynamic framework. Results RESULTS: Ten clinical clerkship students attended as clinicians two cases of Standard Patients of DM2. They reported their reflections toward the role they should sustain: being doctor in front of the patient and their colleagues; difficulty to play the leading and show skills and knowledge in a scenario full of surprises and fantasies; an existential and professional gains in simulation activity; and considerations about responsible in conduct so impacting situations to patients. Conclusions FINAL CONSIDERATONS: The themes translate moments during their simulated attending experience in which they have not sustained their semblance – the intended rule. These could be enriched though group reflecting, supervisor discussion, and patient dialog in the process of developing Medical Psychology skills. Disclosure No significant relationships.
