Human being & animals are exposed to di-n-butyl phthalate through air, water & contaminated food. Rats were exposed to low and high dose of phthalates at (50 and 500mg/kg/gm) along with corn oil for two week. Pathological slides of exposed animals revealed most striking histological changes in testis and ovary of albino rats. Degeneration of germinal epithelium, loss of germs cells were observed in animals treated with DBR The lumen of seminiferous tubules devoid of spermatozoa was quite prominent. Atretic follicle, apoptotic bodies, degeneration of oocytes, corpus luteum hemorrhage and Infiltration of inflammatory cells were remarkable changes in ovary of rats. The Iris Recognition System is very interesting and today it is widely used for the security point of view. Iris recognition gives accurate results. It never takes false value, so it is really very good for security purpose. Iris recognition is amongst the most robust and accurate biometric technologies available in the market today with existing large scale applications supporting databases in excess of millions of people. Daugman is the first one to give an algorithm for iris recognition. . The algorithm was based on Iris Codes. Integro-differential operators are then used to detect the centre and diameter of the iris, then the pupil is also detected using the differential operators, for conversion from Cartesian to polar transform, rectangular representation of the required area is made. Wildes proposed iris recognition based on texture analysis. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the toxic effect of di-nbutyl phthalate on kidney of albino rats. Di-n-butyl phthalate is a plasticizer that is added to plastic, paint, glue, hair spray, toys and house hold products. Human being and animals are exposed to di-n- butyl phthalate through air, water and contaminated food. A significant (P<0.01) fall in protein (10.2 to 4.4gm/dl males and 11.2 to 7.2 gm/dl females) and glucose level (199.4 to 67.4 mg/dl males and 180 to 66.2 mg/dl females) was found in male and female rats whereas rise in value of creatinine (0.44 to 1.12 mg/dl males and 0.22 to 1.22 mg/dl females) was observed in rats of the both sexes. Tubular necrosis, glomerular shrinkage and cast in kidney tubules were observed after DBP exposure (500mg/kg/day). Rise in creatinine are the indication of kidney dysfunction. The paper focuses on examining perception of teaching as well as non-teaching employees of a premier technical institute of Indore district of the state of Madhya Pradesh. The employees were asked through a questionnaire consisting of 15 items about their perception towards ethical practices in the business. The findings of the study reveal that majority of the employees do not show positive perception towards business ethics.Majority of the employees feel that only moral of business is making money. It is an interesting finding. Most of the employees find themselves in dilemma when asked about statement 3- Act according to the law, and you can't go wrong. Majority agrees that business decisions involve a realistic economic attitude and not a moral philosophy and also feel that ethics in business is basically an adjustment between expectations and the ways people behave. Paragangliomas (PGLs) are neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) that arise from neural crest derived cells. Up to 40% of cases occur due to the presence of a pathogenic germline variant (PGV) in a known gene. Mediastinal PGLs are rare but are being diagnosed with increasing frequency. Treatment generally involves surgery but is complicated in mediastinal PGLs due to their anatomy. Here we will perform a literature review and discuss our experience with 18 such cases. Cases were identified via the Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust NET multidisciplinary team database. Tumours ranged in size from 0.6cx0.6cm to 6.8cmx4.9cm. 72.2% were associated with a PGV of SDHB or SDHD. 22.2% developed metastatic disease but it was only possible to attribute 50% of these to a mediastinal primary. (68Ga)-DOTATATE PET CT demonstrated 100% sensitivity. Literature review identified 233 cases. A PGV was reported in 81% of cases with metastatic disease in approximately 39.2%. It was not possible to confirm that all cases of metastatic disease were secondary to a mediastinal primary. Our experience confirms the high rate of mediastinal PGLs arising in the presence of a PGV. The lower rate of metastatic disease in our cohort (11.1%) likely represents earlier diagnosis thanks to the application of screening protocols and the increased sensitivity of (68Ga)-DOTATATE PET CT. With this increased sensitivity we have diagnosed small mediastinal PGLs which were not evident on alternative imaging modalities. In the absence of growth or catecholamine secretion, the need to intervene on these is unclear.
