In recent years, with the rapid development of electronic technology and the improvement of people's quality of life, smart home system gradually comes into being. People often waste the use of lighting system in places with long lighting time and more lighting equipment (such as school classrooms, shopping malls, etc.). Due to the lack of scientific management and the weak sense of responsibility of management personnel, it is necessary to implement lighting energy-saving measures on the premise of ensuring lighting quality. In order to realize the intelligent lighting control system for places with long lighting, the system mainly uses the intelligent lighting control hardware, as well as the python terminal to obtain local time. In this way, the change of lighting can be controlled according to the local time, so as to reduce the artificial management time and the waste of electric energy. This can not only save energy, but also produce obvious economic benefits.

As the natural resources are becoming exhausted, energy consumption by metro systems dominates internal transportation resources in urban areas. The comprehensive exploration of energy improvements in lighting system energy is necessary. To evaluate the energy-saving potential and identify the efficiency improvement opportunities for lighting operations in metro systems, an intelligent energy management system for metro stations is examined through a case study in Nanchang city of China. First, the study explores the main factors influencing the lighting energy consumption of metro systems and analyses the lighting distribution in different station regions. Second, DIALux software is employed to optimize and monitor the best illuminating effect for hall lighting in the selected station. Third, an intelligent model is proposed for the lighting system based on the energy-saving scheme and solution using BECH energy analysis software combined with DIALux software. A thermal model is proposed to verify the energy and load performances. Results show that (1) the proper layout by means of DIALux software, can not only meet the functional demands of lighting but also reduce energy consumption; (2) intelligent lighting control system can improve the lighting energy-saving design, and the lighting control framework is capable of refined control; and (3) based on the performance analyses, the solution with the adopted DALI digital light adjustment is helpful for increasing passengers' comfort and realizing the goals reduction.The novelty is to integrate the lighting energy saving solution with software within an intelligent management and verified its valuable application, it is practical for construction emission control. Public lighting in streets, city centers, squares and other public places etc. can account about 30% of the urban energy consumption. We intend to design an efficient energy saving mechanism using microcontroller and sensors which turn on/off street lights automatically. The aim of this work is to reduce the ill effects of energy consumption of the current lighting system, and find a method to save power. We use distance sensors to switch on the light when the object is sensed in a nearby area otherwise it is kept off. Implementation reveals the prototype works with accuracy and if implemented on a large scale, it will prove to be very useful. Additionally, a person can switch on/off light using his Bluetooth on mobile phone. Also, an IOT enabled DHT-11 sensor kept over light pole will raise an alarm in case of fire or accidents.

Investment in the upgrade of public infrastructure such as public buildings and street lighting provides high energy saving potential. Although it is a cost-effective greenhouse gas mitigation solution, budgetary constraints of its owners, who are often municipalities, lead to low refurbishment rates. To overcome this challenge, innovative financing solutions should be developed to attract other investors and reduce high up-front investment costs for the public budget.

The article presents the development of an intelligent control system for LED lighting, applicable to autonomous electric lighting installations, outdoor lighting fixtures on posts to illuminate highways, roads, streets and surrounding areas. The system combines all local lighting systems in which the motion sensor and the LED luminaire are integrated into one network. Turning on the LED luminaire at reduced power is carried out automatically when the level of external natural light is less than a certain threshold value. In the case of appearance of an object moving along the motion sensors of neighboring local lighting systems, the speed and direction of movement of the object are determined. In accordance to the speed and direction of the object movement the number of local lighting systems is determined whose LED lamps should be switched on at a higher power and the appearance of the object at the next design point is predicted. The increase in the power of LED lamps is carried out smoothly when the object is approaching the corresponding local lighting system. Due to the dynamic control of the power of the LED luminaires, as moving objects appear in the coverage area of the intelligent lighting system, significant energy savings are achieved. Traffic safety conditions are increased, as the number of LED lamps operating with increased power is determined by the speed of the object, and its possible braking distance will be significantly less than the illuminated section of the roadway. Smooth changes in the power of LED lamps reduce the pressure on the driver of the vehicle. The choice of the motion sensor based on the autodyne radio blocking, which detects moving objects in a given sector of the controlled space, regardless of the time of day and weather conditions, is grounded.

We consider the using of the lighting control system to reduce the power consumption of the workplace. In Japan, the standard level of illuminance for each user is about the half general illuminance of 700 lx at the office based on the Japanese Industrial Standards recommendation. However, the intelligent lighting system provides the required individual illuminance for each user at the office as desire. We have conducted the experiments at the actual office in Japan to verify the impact of using the intelligent system in the power consumption of the office. We find that the intelligent lighting system is useful to provide a comfortable environment for each user and reduce the power consumption of the office environment.

The intelligent lighting controller studied in this paper mainly adopts ARM (STM32F103ZET6) microprocessor as the control core, and uses APP and buttons as the control terminal for lighting adjustment. The APP via bluetooth connection with bluetooth module, realizes the data transmission, and sends the data to the lower computer. This machine realizes the switch control, brightness control and transformation of various light modes of the light controller. In addition, the system uses CRC check to ensure the correctness of data transmission. Flat dimming circuits and electrical isolation circuits are also designed to ensure product comfort and safety. This paper combines hardware development to propose an overall design scheme, and analyzes the system's data transmission, communication guarantee and functional stability. The graphical interface is used to control the operation, making the operation more convenient and quick.

We consider the problem of using the intelligent lighting system to cut energy consumption at the workplace. In this paper, we evaluate the use of energy at the office by comparing our method with the conventional method of the intelligent lighting system. In the large office environments, the traditional lighting system is not able to reach the desk and specify which occupied space or unoccupied by each worker. The proper use of the lighting system affects energy consumption in the office. For instance, the worker forgets to toggle the status of the occupancy after leaving the office, which changes the energy reduction. As a result, the new model of the intelligent lighting system can save and deduct the energy of the office.

Playing music is about conveying emotions and the lighting at a concert can help do that. However, without a dedicated light technician, many bands have to miss out on lighting that will help them to convey the emotions of what they play. In this paper we aim to develop an intelligent system that detects the intended emotions of the played music and in real-time adjusts the lighting accordingly. Through state-of-the-art research on music and emotion, a row of cues is defined. This includes amount, speed, fluency and regularity for the visual and level, tempo, articulation and timbre for the auditory. By assessing such cues, the system is able to detect the intended emotion. Specific lighting designs are then developed to support these specific emotions. The results suggest that the intelligent emotion-based lighting system has an advantage over a just beat synced lighting and it is concluded that there is reason to explore this idea further.

This paper presents the evaluation of usersХ experiences in three intelligent lighting pilots in Finland. Two of the case studies are related to the use of intelligent lighting in different kinds of traffic areas, having emphasis on aspects of visibility, traffic and movement safety, and sense of security. The last case study presents a more complex view to the experience of intelligent lighting in smart city contexts. The evaluation methods, tailored to each pilot context, include questionnaires, an urban dashboard, in-situ interviews and observations, evaluation probes, and system data analyses. The applicability of the selected and tested methods is discussed reflecting the process and achieved results.

Smart homes and Internet of Things are emerging concepts in modern society, with intelligent lighting being an important part of it. Besides providing visual satisfaction through its color-rendering properties, lighting also has other effects on human well-being. In order to exploit the full potential of a smartly lit home, lighting systems need to be equipped with accurate controllers that can control the spectrum and color characteristics of light in addition to conventional ON–OFF and dimming control. However, current commercial smart lighting products with such capabilities need to employ expensive sensors which are still lacking in terms of closed-loop feedback which is imperative for accurate color control of light-emitting diode (LED)-based luminaires. This paper presents a novel approach that uses the camera available on modern smartphones to perform closed-loop color control for lighting systems in smart homes. The algorithm is able to perform multi-channel mixing for any color and also white light at a desired correlated color temperature with high color-rendering index. This approach proves to be very economical and convenient as no external sensors are required and can be performed using any Android smartphone on a compatible LED-based luminaire.

Designing a large infrastructure, such as a street lighting system, is a complex task itself especially in the context of Smart City and Smart Grid approaches. The problem is made even harder if it needs to be designed with control in mind. To facilitate a complex design process without losing fidelity, a graph-based formalism, namely General Environment Model (GEM), is proposed to be applied to model such an environment. Moreover, another graph-based model, namely Control Availability Graph or shortly CAG, is proposed to enable definition of routines for dynamic control of large-scale systems. Both of these models have been verified in practice, but the transition from GEM to CAG had been performed manually. In this paper, we propose a coherent, formal method of generating a control system from the graph-based environment description while taking into account the designer's decisions. An application of the generated CAG as a control system yields up to 34% of energy consumption reduction in a pilot deployment of over 3500 light points for the city of Krakow, Poland.

This study aims to develop a human-centric, intelligent lighting control system using adaptive LED lights in roadway lighting, integrated with an imaging luminance meter that uses an IoT sensor driver to detect the brightness of road surfaces. AI image data are collected for luminance and vehicle conditions analyses to adjust the output of the photometric curve. Type-A lenses are designed for R3 dry roads, while Type-B lenses are designed for W1 wet roads, to solve hazards caused by slippery roads, for optimizing safety and for visual clarity for road users. Data are collected for establishing formulae to optimize road lighting. First, the research uses zonal flux analysis to design secondary optical components of LED roadway lighting. Based on the distribution of LED lights and the target photometric curve, the freeform surface calculation model and formula are established, and control points of each curved surface are calculated using an iterative method. The reflection coefficient of a roadway is used to design optical lenses that take into account the illuminance and luminance uniformity to produce photometric curves accordingly. This system monitors roadway luminance in real time, which simulates drivers’ visual experiences and uses the ZigBee protocol to transmit control commands. This optimizes the output of light according to weather and produces quality roadway lighting, providing a safer driving environment.

Although there are many sources of electric energy, there are various waste phenomena in various occasions, especially the waste of electric energy in building corridors is often ignored. This paper introduces a corridor intelligent light system, which includes several sensors, the gateway, core controller and cloud platform. The system can effectively save energy and has intelligent lighting control such as automatic induction of people, automatic switching of corresponding upper and lower floor lights, etc.

China accounts for more than 22% of the total energy consumption worldwide. Building energy consumption, among which consumption in public buildings was about 40% took the second place. With the problems of high energy waste, error rate and complexity of the control systems available, an indoor intelligent lighting system based on occupants’ location is proposed in this paper to improve the energy efficiency of the current lighting systems indoors. The transmission model of electromagnetic wave in free space is optimized in both aspects of reference signal strength and attenuation coefficient radiation in complex environment dynamically based on which occupants’ positions are obtained. The smart lighting system will turn on or off corresponding lights adaptively to provide a more energy efficient platform. Experimental results show that the proposed system is able to improve the energy efficiency of indoor lighting by at least 15%, with a lower error rate below 2% compared with the existing lighting systems based on voice control.

Intelligent lighting is responsible for providing an appropriate illuminance and balancing the environment and resources. An appropriate illuminance can improve visual effect of machine recognition, while it is always difficult to be measured and controlled. An illuminance measurement method by using depth measurement technology of binocular stereo vision is proposed in this study. Illuminance analysis models of single LED and combined LEDs are established, and theoretical calculation equations for analyzing the relationship between power, illuminance, and depth are proposed. The illuminance distribution of single LED and combined LEDs are measured. The difference between single LED and combined LEDs are obtained in terms of illuminance, power, energy efficiency, effective illuminance area, etc. The results show that the illuminance is proportional to power of LED consumed and inversely proportional to the square of depth of image. The higher the energy conversion efficiency under the high illuminance for both single LED and combined LEDs. The depth of image is measured by binocular stereo vision technology, which has a good measurement performance. The binocular stereo vision based illuminance measurement method proposed in this study is efficient, reliable and robust, which is in good agreement with the experimental results, and the relative error is less than 3.8 %. The illuminance measurement is realized without increasing the equipment and image acquisition workload, which lays the foundation for dynamic monitoring and controlling of illuminance. The research results can also be applied to related fields as well, such as the intelligent lighting of street lamp, high beam in automatic driving and supplement lamps in video monitoring.

Firstly, the basic traffic data collection methods based on intelligent lighting system are introduced, including RTMS data collection and video data collection. Then, based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, a traffic condition discrimination model of urban intersections under the intelligent lighting system is established. The average speed, stop delay and queue length detected by the intelligent lamp post collection equipment are selected as evaluation factors, and the traffic status of signalized intersections is defined as smooth traffic, normal congestion and severe congestion. The research results have realized the fine discrimination of urban intersection traffic operating condition under the intelligent lighting system.

The article considers the use of an intelligent lighting control system as one of the ways to reduce the negative impact of electromagnetic radiation in the visible range on the human visual organs. The developed algorithm of the system determines the most optimal value of the voltage on the lighting elements based on the comparison of the data on the value of illumination in different areas of the room, providing not only a comfortable environment for the eyes in the workplace, but also an electric energy saving of at least 15 %.

Lighting energy consumption occupies a large proportion in the building electricity consumption. It cannot only save energy, but also reduce the uneven and constant illumination of the working face, which makes full use of the natural lighting and combines with the intelligent lighting control. An office building in Zhengzhou of China has been selected as an example for analyzing the climatic factors that influence building daylighting and the factors of the building itself, the illuminance of working faces in different sky models and at different times has been simulated and calculated to analyze the illuminance variation law in the direction of room depth and parallel direction of side Windows. Partition and point combined constant illumination control strategy for the lamps in different areas has been put forward and realized by BP neural network algorithm. By controlling the dimming of artificial light source and adjusting the curtain opening degree intelligently, uniform and constant illumination has been achieved. Energy saving effect in combination with natural lighting has been evaluated to prove that the control strategy cannot only maintain constant illumination in every working face but also significantly reduce the electric energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.

The paper puts forward and implements a method of designing and creating a modelling simulation environment for extensive and complete analysis of economical lighting on highways. From a general design viewpoint, the proposed solution explores the concept of a network description language (SMOL), which has been designed to describe the necessary network functions, mechanisms, and devices for the purpose of their computer simulation and verification. The presented results of the performed research confirm the usability of intelligent lighting on highways, both in the sense of the design concept and in the aspect of saving energy.

The push for ubiquitous networking and device inter-connectivity in buildings is fueling the development of a new wave of smart devices with embedded electronics, sensors and wireless connectivity that can collect, process and exchange data. Commonly known as the Internet of Things (IoT), it encompasses, but is not limited to wireless sensor networks, home automation, mobile devices and lighting control systems. Smart lighting systems are of particular interest as they evolve from traditional lighting control by introducing autonomous control of light through feedback from integrated sensors, user data, cloud services and user input, bringing with it a host of benefits including increased energy savings, enhanced functionality, and user-centric lighting. In this paper, we review the current state of the art in smart lighting technology, focusing on energy-saving, commercial, and advanced smart lighting systems. Furthermore, we also present a review of smart lighting connectivity options and discuss potential advancements through the integration of visible light communication technology.

The ambient intelligence consists of the integration of computer science technologies in the objects of the environment around us in order to create a smart one. Each object in the environment performs a different service as part of achieving a task. The adaptive Service composition is a context-aware system used in the situation where the user’s needs cannot be satisfied by a single service but by the combination of several ones. One of the main and principal characteristics of ambient environments is the adaptability to the context. The multi-agent systems with their characteristics of autonomy, proactivity, mobility and sociability are one of the most promising techniques of service composition and they became a major and significant paradigm for developping ambient systems. In this paper, we present a model of adaptive service composition in ambient environment based on multi-agent system named Multi Agent System for Adaptive Service Composition (MAS-ASC). To each object of the environment is associated an agent. The set of the agents coordinate their competences taking into account the context in order to perform an activity. MAS-ASC is based on the Contract Net Protocol in which the agents exchange their proposals in the form of call for proposal. It is implemented on Java Agent DEvelopment framework platform and has been tested to economize the consumption of energy in an intelligent lighting system example.

As smartphones become increasingly powerful and ubiquitous, integrating them into intelligent lighting systems can boost both convenience and energy efficiency. This paper presents an intelligent lighting system prototype with enhanced security features for smart homes. The custom-built Android mobile application made use of the onboard ambient light sensor to run a novel closed-loop feedback algorithm to implement daylight harvesting. A cost analysis shows that the whole system setup is slightly cheaper than commercial products and due to its daylight harvesting capabilities, has potential for monetary savings in the long run, outperforming current commercial products.

The present paper deals with energy-efficient street lighting using LED technology. Depending on the voltage applied the LED luminous flux may vary. To ensure an efficient street lighting it is necessary to implement an on / off street lighting system schedule according to the geographical location by taking as a reference the times when the sun rises and sets for each day of the calendar year and to change the luminous flux of street lighting depending on the time of night. There are time periods during the night hours when the street lighting is very important, for example on the early morning hours or right after the sunset. In the remaining time periods luminous flux of LED lamps can be reduced after a well defined program. These goals can be achieved by using a Mitsubishi Alpha 2 PLC (AL2-10MR-A type) with four normally open contacts and by implementing a specific electric scheme at the street lighting system switching points.

We consider the problem of using the intelligent lighting system to provide the individual luminance for each desk at the office. This paper presents a new model of the lighting control using bluetooth low energy beacon to specify the occupied or unoccupied desk, in addition, to determine each person who has the desk. The proposed model is developed to toggle the status of occupancy for each desk at the office to get the required luminance for each user. We found that the new model of the system detects the occupancy status of each desk, and identify the status of the worker.

This paper presents an approach to incorporate speech recognition technology in deploying Internet of Things (IoT) for smart home system. In the process of implementing speech recognition, it is especially important to deal with the problem of speech misidentification. Misidentification problems can be improved by improving algorithms and setting speech recognition strategies. Under the same equipment conditions, voice recognition mechanisms such as voice trigger and error absorption can effectively improve the accuracy of speech recognition. At the same time, the smart home systems are also inseparable from functions such as intelligent lighting, temperature and humidity control, security alarms, fire warnings, and intelligent terminal controls. On this basis, combined with speech recognition technology, a complete smart home human-computer interaction system can be realized.

Recently, Manual control of lighting system is still the main force in most huge events and situations, which contribute serious waste of electricity. For the tobacco distribution center, there are special lighting management methods, such as setting a uniform time to open and close the lighting equipment in the joint workshop. Although a certain amount of electric energy can be saved by this means, it cannot meet the actual demand. In the essay, according to the actual situation of tobacco distribution center joint workshop, the OPTICS Algorithm is improved to conduct cluster analysis on the location data of personnel in the workshop, finding out the illume area where the personnel are relatively densely distributed. Besides, it can also calculate the number of lamps that need to be turned on under the condition of meeting the specified illumination. The experimental results demonstrate that the energy saving effect is particularly obvious when the people are widely distributed in the lighting places.

As both information technology and renewable energy technology continue to develop and rapid reforms sweep across the power industry, the comprehensive energy service is increasingly important in realizing improved energy efficiency and reduced energy costs. The comprehensive energy service uses Power Line Communication (PLC) technology to fully utilize existing power lines for fast and low-cost deployment of various Internet of Things (IoT) terminals used for energy efficiency collection, lighting control, air conditioner control, power distribution monitoring, and more. This document analyzes the feasibility of multi-service transmission based on IPv6 PLC technology. It explores the service characteristics of the comprehensive energy service and the bandwidth and reliability requirements of various services on the communication network. Such services include energy consumption data collection, power distribution monitoring, intelligent lighting control, air conditioner control, power quality analysis, and demand response control in the comprehensive energy service scenario. The feasibility of the technical scheme is verified through theoretical analysis and test.

In recent years, it has been stated that proper lighting control in hospitals and similar health institutions has positive effects on the patient and working health team. In this study, the intelligent lighting system was designed by using artificial intelligence for examination and observation rooms of a health institution. In this design, natural and artificial lighting hybrid systems are used to provide maximum benefit from natural lighting by using artificial neural networks. According to the results of the analysis, it is concluded that the daylight assisted system has positive effects on both the patients and healthcare workers who use these areas and that energy saving is achieved with high energy efficiency.

This study will examine what artificial intelligence based smart cities can provide for development, their contribution sand their impacts. These contributions and effects are seen from many different angles, not from a single angle. At the same time, these effects support both each other and development at the same time. It can be said that smart cities and intelligent city systems can help to evolve in many different ways. Smart cities will be able to plan and reduce current consumption with the regulation of old systems, electricity consumption forecasting, instant monitoring, smart meters and intelligent lighting systems. Besides, planned reconstruction, ecological buildings, safe and uninterrupted energy can provide prosperity. In this way, the cities become more economical, safe, livable and comfortable and at the same time they can contribute to development. In general, the economic development of intelligent cities is in the forefront. In fact, most of the intelligent urban planning work on Earth has been made because of economic concerns, and therefore the intelligent city system has been introduced. As a result of these passages, good results have been obtained from the examples. When old systems are organized and intelligent, electricity costs will decrease, instant follow-up will be possible and the user will be able to pre-purchase the required energy with electricity consumption estimation. At the same time, these systems can also facilitate management. Planned construction will result in a more modern city image that will reduce excavation, infrastructure work and similar costs. In addition to reducing air pollution, ecological buildings can contribute economically by producing some of their own energy. In summary; A smart city system with good planning can be a locomotive for development.

A Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) measurement and adjustment system based on a microcontroller, an RGBC sensor and a commercially available programmable lighting section was designed as a building block for developing a more complex intelligent lighting system. Because measurement of the CCT can be affected by different errors, in this paper the main sources of error are identified and discussed. CCT calculation relationships based on the RGBC components given by the RGBC sensor, the influence of the illumination level, the influence of the sensor position and the influence of distance between sensor and lighting elements are identified as the main error sources and considerations regarding their decreasing are given.

In today's world, energy is the single most important parameter to consider when assessing the impacts of technical systems on the environment. More amount of electricity is consumed due to street lights. Intelligent lighting control and energy management system is a perfect solution for energy saving, especially in public lighting management. The paper focuses on products and innovative components for street lighting, proposing a consumption reducing solution based on an intelligent system for remote measurements and control with GPS/GPRS/4G technologies for public lighting system. The architecture was successfully tested and validated and continues to be in development.

In order to solve the problem of lighting waste in developing countries and backward areas, an application of Internet of Things technology, combined with edge computing, is proposed to achieve intelligent lighting system for office buildings. The system takes the Internet of Things technology as the core, and combine ZigBee short-distance, low complexity, low-rate, low-power, low-cost and two-way wireless communication advantage, and based on mesh topology designs an energy-saving system for office building lighting. Intelligently control the switch of the luminaire or switch the preset illumination mode according to the sensed number of people in the current office, location and illumination brightness, effectively overcomes the defects of traditional lighting mode management backwardness, waste of energy, poor comfort and complicated wiring. The objective is to achieve the goal of energy saving and consumption reduction for office building lighting. Through practice and experimental test analysis, the improved energy consumption of the energy saving is about 30% per year, and the effect is remarkable.

Ambient light usually is heterogeneous due to the varying of daylight and occupancy illumination. The performance of many applications, such as intelligent lighting control, heavily depends on the light sensor system. It is necessary to have a sensor system that can measure the light intensity in different directions. A light sensors network, usually used in lighting con- trol system, requires many sensors located at multiple locations. It is difficult to change the number of sensor and the locations in the system. We introduce a novel system which uses only a single sensor rotated by a stepper motor to measure light intensity from different directions. After identified the sensor direction, the system measures the light intensity and transmits the data to a monitoring unit. The rotating sensor could be able to communicate with the Internet of Things data monitoring platform. We have performed experiments in a normal occupancy workroom. The results show that our sensor may measure light intensity in multiple directions. Besides, the sensor can detect whether some directions were blocked while firmly measuring light level on the other directions.

The aim of this article is to introduce the intelligent lighting control system. The created control system is able to diagnose current conditions and control the lighting system operatively to achieve the required lighting standard at minimal energy costs. The developed system will thus further reduce the energy consumption of the buildings in which it will be applied. The system was created in cooperation with Südluft Systemtechnik and will serve primarily for lighting control of commercial kitchens.

Lighting process generally takes between 25%-40% of total electricity consumption in a building. In the last years the lighting systems evolved to reduce the power consumption of a building reducing this way the costs and environmental pollution. Nowadays smart home automation systems were developed to reduce the power consumption and improve the comfort. This paper presents and describes the lighting process of a room, and suggests the architecture of an intelligent platform. The platform is capable to maintain the light intensity in a room to a desired level using natural daylight to illuminate a room in order to reduce the power consumption.

Sometimes it becomes a big problem to provide the nation with enough power in underdeveloped or a developing country only because of the high-power consumption by the consumers. It is also observed that the road line continuously consumes a huge amount of electricity, and this amount of electricity can be saved if a controlled process can be operated on the road. In order to save the waste of electricity from the road and to operate street light in a controlled manner, an intelligent lighting system is introduced with a Piezo electricity generator. With the appearance of vehicles or people on the road, the light intensity can be changed in this system. This system also introduces the zebra crossing light to warn a driver at night when a person passes a road using the zebra crossing. This warning from the zebra crossing light can save a person from an accident. Another special feature of this system is the Piezoelectric generator, which provides extra electricity. In this system, several components are used to operate the system properly. Light Dependent Resistor and Ultrasonic sensor are used to control street lights by sensing night and day or by detecting vehicles or pedestrians at night. The lights at the zebra crossing point are controlled by a Passive Infrared Resistor. All these features of this system will provide an uninterrupted supply of electricity as this system can make a major contribution in saving a country's most needed energy.

Through the analysis of people's lifestyle and cabinet furniture's function, this paper explores the scenarized design of the intelligent lighting system in cabinet furniture of the residence, expounds the control process of the intelligent lighting system, and presents the installation and wiring ways of lighting. It's supposed to reduce costs, improve the comfort level and convenience of installation.

Aiming at the complicated wiring and serious energy waste of common tunnel lighting, an intelligent lighting control system is elaborated. Main controller of the system uses a fuzzy algorithm to calculate the required value of brightness. The system adopts ZIGBEE wireless network technology to realize the function of intelligent dimming, switching lamp and automatically detecting and positioning lamp fault. To meet energy-saving and intelligence, the overall design plan from the main controller to the coordinator and then to the wireless node (including router and terminal controller) is expounded. The wireless network technology and the designs of hardware and software for coordinator and wireless node are described, and the communication protocol between the coordinator and the main controller was designed. The actual operation results of the 5 tunnels in Hunan indicate that the system can meet the requirements of tunnel lighting and ensure the safety of traffic. Compared with traditional tunnel lighting, the system can save 55% energy.

The street lighting network is currently used only for illumination. Future electricity demands at the low voltage (LV) network, for example, e-mobility, suggests using the existing network in a managed way for multiple applications. This management relies on detailed knowledge of the network topology, which is not always known due to untracked changes. Intelligent lighting poles capable of measuring and managing loads allow for topology identification. In this work, an automatic method for identification of LV networks topology is presented. The topology is detected by connecting test loads, while the measured voltage values are clustered via Jenks Natural Breaks method, and the topology is reconstructed with the algorithm. The procedure is evaluated with a PowerFactory model and showed to be a robust method. The method proves to identify the topology and suitable as input for energy management systems, enabling lighting networks to become a platform for smart city applications.

Among them, they can be roughly divided into control and management systems, network systems, lighting control systems, and security systems. Entertainment systems and environmental control systems, etc. In the current Chinese market, intelligent lighting has a good momentum of development. Whether it’s urban nightscape lighting, urban roads, Lighting, or functional lighting of stadiums and gymnasiums, has been designed with excellent intelligent lighting control, but compared with the above, the indoor intelligent lighting market still has a great potential for development. Up to now, most indoor lighting systems still use the traditional manual switch control mode. Even if there is the adjustment of lighting brightness, it is only manually adjusted by mechanical switch and designed according to the space function. Although there is voice control or mobile phone-controlled bulbs on the market, and the function is single, cannot really achieve interactive intelligence, from home systematization, integration is still far from, we design the intelligent lighting system realizes the interactive function of human lamp and meets the intelligent demand.

This design is a ZigBee-based intelligent office lighting system, which aims to optimize the current office space using traditional lighting mode. The system can collect the illumination in the office area in real-time, compensate the illumination environment in the office area, and fully utilize the technical features of LED lamps to be energy efficient. Each lighting node in the system can switch different lighting schemes according to different areas of the office, and meet different situational requirements in combination with actual conditions to realize intelligent and humanized office lighting.

The birth of artificial makes landscape information measurement, storage and analysis be more accurate and efficient. Meanwhile, it also creates the new manifestation mode for landscape designers to reappear perception experience landscape which greatly liberates designers' brain to return the design to the creation. The development of artificial intelligent technology brings the new opportunities to landscape design. From the perspective of the intelligent lighting technology in the artificial intelligence technology, the paper explores the influence and application of the artificial intelligence to landscape design.

As a complete urban space individual, the gymnasium must be considered to build energy conservation and environmental protection requirements. Based on this research background, the thesis analyzes whether it can be energy-saving and environmentally friendly by exploring natural ventilation technology and intelligent lighting for green buildings, using CFD and airpark combined with thermal comfort and body temperature. Research has shown that through the CAN bus intelligent lighting system, combined with the opening and closing of the building gymnasium roof to meet the ventilation conditions, the gymnasium’s necessary energy-saving and environmental protection can be realized.

In order to flexibly and effectively complete the intelligent lighting distributed control, this paper studies the intelligent lighting distributed control algorithm based on sensor network technology. In this method, a complete sensor network was constructed by the establishment of sensor network and the successful access of nodes. The characteristics of data structure information in sensor networks were sampled to optimize the channel equalization configuration in sensor networks, thus achieving the data acquisition. Then, the adaptive weighting algorithm was utilized to fuse the collected sensing information to improve the accuracy and stability of the data, obtaining high-precision acquisition data. The mapping relationship was established to realize the distributed control of intelligent lighting after the implementation of high-precision data learning and training. The results show that the method has high precision data acquisition, and can complete the distributed control of intelligent lighting according to the changes of the target illumination area, human physiological information and environmental information.

Traditional tunnel lighting luminance is calculated based on the designed hourly traffic volume and designed speed. This approach first determined the entrance section reduction factor and middle section’s luminance through the look-up table method, then calculated each section’s luminance in proportion. Since the designed value is often higher than the actual traffic flow value, and the calculated brightness value is so high which might lead to tunnel energy consumption. What’s more, the designed value in this method is the piecewise discrete value, which does not meet the requirement of continuous dimming for LED lighting. In this case, under the premise of satisfying operation safety, how to carry out continuous intelligent energy saving control research and energy saving evaluation based on actual traffic value is an urgent problem to be solved in tunnel lighting. This paper first proposed a luminance calculation model for each lighting section which can realize continuous dimming as needed. Using the least squares method fitting the reduction coefficient and the luminance of the middle section to solve the luminance of the entrance and middle sections under the condition of any speed and traffic flow, and realizing the continuous optimization of the luminance calculation. Second, in terms of the shortcomings of the traditional graded dimmer control, this paper offered a highway tunnel lighting intelligent control algorithm with traffic flow, speed and luminance out of the tunnel as the input matrix, which meets the requirement of LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) neural networks, tunnel lighting characteristics and tunnel lighting section. Considering the objective function of optimization problem in LSTM, three gradient descent methods were introduced to optimize the model respectively. Third, this paper adopted equal proportion to arrange lamps and light distribution, and developed a tunnel lighting simulation environment based on DIALux to meet the energy conservation assessment requirements in operating tunnels. Roadway luminance and its total uniformity are selected as energy saving evaluation indexes. Finally, we established a three-dimensional tunnel model with the real environment of Jinding Lake 2# tunnel, then conducted simulations and experimental verifications of the intelligent control algorithm under sunny and cloudy weather conditions, and verified the performance of the intelligent lighting control algorithm under the three optimizers. The result of energy conservation evaluations shows that compared with traditional lighting design, the tunnel lighting energy conservation algorithm can save 23.61% of energy in sunny days and 31.40% in cloudy days.
