Every new onset, situation or phenomenon, positive or negative, there are obstacles, obstacles or difficulties you face, or perhaps you need to study more thoroughly and comprehensively including the use of western musical instruments in our eastern Iraqi music. The experience of using Western instruments in the music curriculum in Iraq has played a positive role while at the same time negatively affecting our music heritage in particular. Most music institutes and colleges in Iraq lack the teachers of Arabic authentic instruments such as Al Awd, Al Nai, Al Sinatour and Al Jawah. Because of the lack of a qualified teaching staff who give practical and applied lessons to these machines I have found the opportunity to study quickly this important and useful topic for us and our students, and I am sure I have come up with some indicators or conclusions, some negative and the other positive because it is an experience, we are taking for the first time but it remains the leading and ideal experience and it is sure to evolve in the years ahead.

The aim of the article is to substantiate the mechanism for managing the financial security of an insurance company in the context of endogenous and exogenous risks, threats and hazards. It is proved that the economic essence of the concept of «financial security of the insurer» can be interpreted on the basis of system, system-activity, state, resource, criterion, indicator, risk- and strategically oriented approaches. It is proposed to consider the financial security of the insurer as a complex characteristic of its activities, which reflects the ability to manage finances, accumulate insurance premiums, fulfill obligations in the face of existing risks, threats and hazards of exogenous and endogenous nature. It is proved that ensuring the financial security of the insurer is based on an effective mechanism specific to each insurance company, depends on the purpose, financial and economic activities of the company, the level of its security and forms, methods and levers of its provision. The mechanism for managing the financial security of an insurance company has been improved, which is based on the definition of targets, forms, methods, levers, management tools, regulatory and information support. An approach to improving the mechanism for managing the insurer’s financial security has been developed, which is based on determining the targets of the insurer’s financial security, analyzing and evaluating the dynamics of the main indicators and activity coefficients, the existing methodological instrumentarium for assessing the level of the insurer’s security and substantiating the most acceptable methods, selecting financial security indicators, calculating the indicators of financial security, determining the level of the insurer’s financial security. Prospects for further research are the development of methodical tools and indicators for assessing the level of financial security of the insurer in the context of existential risks, threats and hazards.

Background: The triad of 3D design, 3D printing, and xReality technologies is explored and exploited to collaboratively realize patient-specific products in a timely manner with an emphasis on designs with meta-(bio)materials. Methods: A case study on pelvic reconstruction after oncological resection (osteosarcoma) was selected and conducted to evaluate the applicability and performance of an inter-epistemic workflow and the feasibility and potential of 3D technologies for modeling, optimizing, and materializing individualized orthopedic devices at the point of care (PoC). Results: Image-based diagnosis and treatment at the PoC can be readily deployed to develop orthopedic devices for pre-operative planning, training, intra-operative navigation, and bone substitution. Conclusions: Inter-epistemic symbiosis between orthopedic surgeons and (bio)mechanical engineers at the PoC, fostered by appropriate quality management systems and end-to-end workflows under suitable scientifically amalgamated synergies, could maximize the potential benefits. However, increased awareness is recommended to explore and exploit the full potential of 3D technologies at the PoC to deliver medical devices with greater customization, innovation in design, cost-effectiveness, and high quality.

In the conditions of an economic crisis, the activation of economic activity through mortgage lending becomes crucial, and the study of the development of the mortgage market in the world is necessary for a comprehensive understanding of its impact on social, economic, and financial growth. It is also essential for determining optimal management strategies for the housing sector in a specific country. The article aims to substantiate the features of the functioning of the mortgage market in the world and in Ukraine. Investigating the peculiarities of domestic and foreign mortgage markets, the authors used a statistical method to analyze the mortgage market and government mortgage credit programs in Ukraine and worldwide. Empirical evidence in the research includes data from the Ukrainian Financial Housing Company, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, and the Diya platform, presented using a graphical method. Abstraction, analysis, and synthesis methods formed the basis for developing recommendations for improving government programs for developing the mortgage market for housing in the world and in Ukraine. The dynamics of mortgage loans issued in Ukraine for 2019–2022 indicate a decline in mortgage loan issuance due to unstable political and economic situations. It was revealed that the restoration of mortgage lending in Ukraine is facilitated by the Ukrainian government's eOselya program, which is aimed at providing citizens with affordable housing. The specifics of mortgage lending in different countries worldwide are disclosed. The overall trend of diversity in mortgage lending conditions in the European Union indicates significant differences in approaches to housing loans in different countries. However, some positive characteristics of the mortgage market development in the EU can serve as valuable experience for reforming Ukraine's national mortgage lending market. Among them are financial and investment capacities, low cost of loans, socio-legal protection, macroeconomic stability, transparency, informational clarity, and unified regulatory approaches.

This paper shows how econometric identification can be improved in studies making use of crop insurance participation as either an independent or dependent variable. The paper provides the reader with a succinct overview of how crop insurance contracts are priced and how to use publicly available data to derive a novel composite crop insurance design parameter that emulates existing crop insurance rating parameters using a procedure that is based on current actuarial practices. The derived design parameter performs well at predicting historic crop insurance loss-cost ratios and satisfies the requirements for an instrumental variable for a variety of empirical applications related to crop insurance. Representative empirical examples are presented where it is shown that the proposed instrument has favorable two-staged least squares diagnostic tests and is effective at eliminating endogeneity bias.

Abstract Aim The aim of this scoping review was to evaluate and summarise the measurement properties of nursing research competence instruments and provide a summary overview of the use of nursing research competence instruments. Background Increasing nursing research competence instruments have been developed. However, a systematic review and evaluation of nursing research competence instruments is lacking. Method This scoping review was conducted following the Joanna Briggs Institute updated methodology for scoping reviews and reported according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews checklist. Reviewers searched articles in Eight English databases and two Chinese databases between April 1st, 2022, and April 30th, 2022. An updated literature search was conducted between March 1st and March 4th, 2023. The literature screening and data extraction were conducted by two reviewers, independently. A third reviewer was involved when consensus was needed. The COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments methodology was used to evaluate the methodological quality and measurement properties of the nursing research competence instruments. Results Ten studies involving eight nursing research competence instruments were included. None of the existing instruments have assessed all measurement properties. A total of 177 empirical studies have utilized a nursing research competence instrument with tested measurement properties. Conclusion ‘Self-evaluated Nursing Research Capacity of Questionnaire (refined)’ was identified as the most appropriate nursing research competence instrument in existing instruments. However, reviewers need to conduct further measurement properties studies on the existing nursing research competence instruments. Implications for the nursing policy This study could guide the selection of appropriate nursing research competence instruments which could help to evaluate the nursing research competence of nurses and inform the development of intervention plans to enhance nursing research competence.

This research aims to construct a chop meter for table tennis. This research method is research and development (R&D). The population and sample in this study were 20 PTM Pasir Pengaraian table tennis athletes. The research was carried out by giving a questionnaire to 2 media experts and two material experts to examine the instrument's reliability. The Criteria Test uses the results of the jury's assessment in assessment matrix form to find the validity of the test. This study involved the first and second test samples of 20 Pasir Pengaraian PTM athletes, using data collection methods with questionnaires and tests. The study results were obtained from material experts 87.70% and 94% (very appropriate) and media experts 91% and 89.80% (decent). The result of validity is 0.91, and reliability is 0.87. The number indicates that validity and reliability are proper based on the Kirkendall category.

Introduction: As to the significance of clinical competency, the competency concept should be up-to-date periodically until clinical competency is evaluated based on it. This study aimed to develop and evaluate psychometric properties of a new tool to measure the postgraduate psychiatric nursing students’ competencies.Methods: The current study was conducted with a sequential exploratory mixed-method, in Iran, in 2019 -2022. The qualitative part was conventional content analysis, and the quantitative part was a methodology study. The questionnaire was developed by the item generation via individual semi-structured interviews with 21 participants sampled purposefully, and a literature systematic review. In the quantitative phase, psychometric analysis was performed based onconsensus-based standards for the selection of health status measurement instruments (COSMIN) criteria, and using face, content, and construct (i.e., convergent, known group, and exploratory factor analysis done on 199 postgraduate psychiatric nursing students by available sampling) validity. t-test analysis was used to compare the clinical competenceratings of two groups of experienced and inexperienced postgraduate psychiatric nursing students. Additionally, dependability was examined for internal consistency, stability over a one-month period, and measurement error. The sampling technique used for content validity was deliberate. Then, the responsiveness (through minimally detectablechanges), and interpretability (through minimal important changes) were calculated.Results: The questionnaire consisted of 43 items. Construct validity assessment via exploratory factor analysis (EFA) showed that 67.53% of the cumulative variance was explained by two factors: “Education and nursing care” (23 items) and “Evidence based psychiatric nursing interventions” (20 items). The convergent validity with one golden standard instrument was 0.49. The difference of the clinical competency scores of the two groups of experienced and novice was significant (P0.05).Conclusion: The 43-item postgraduate psychiatric nursing students’ clinical competency questionnaire is a valid and reliable newly developed instrument. Further studies are recommended to be conducted to assess competency with the largest sample size to promote instrument.

Unaccompanied foreign minors (UFMs) face stigmatisation and social exclusion in Spanish territory. Given their growing presence in schools, it is crucial that trainee teachers have valid and real information about these students in order to provide equitable, personalised, and quality education to all their students in the near future and to mitigate any uninformed prejudices and stigma developed before they enter the classroom. This study seeks to validate a scale designed to assess the perceptions of pre-service teachers about UFMs (n = 169). The objective of this study was to validate a scale designed to assess the perceptions of pre-service teachers about UFMs (n = 169). All participants were studying primary education at the University of Granada (Spain) [♂ = 131 (77.5%); ♀ = 37 (21.9%)]. Methodology: A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional, ex post facto, and quantitative study was conducted. The data were analyzed with IBM SPSS® 28.0 and IBM Amos Graphics® 23.0 programs. Results: A multidimensional scale was developed with a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.858 and McDonald’s omega of 0.859, consisting of a total of 26 indicators divided into three factors: socio-educational characteristic (n = 13), social threat (n = 7), and physical and emotional well-being (n = 6). The general scale showed high reliability and acceptable fit (p < 0.001; KMO = 0.880; GFI = 0.832; IFI = 0.925; NFI = 0.816; CFI = 0.924; SMSR = 0.058). CFA reports that the items with the highest factor loadings are related to determining whether these minors respect cultural differences, are involved in drug trafficking, and arrive in Spanish territory with significant malnutrition. However, the items with the lowest factor loadings are linked to understanding the type of academic education these minors have, whether they consume alcohol, or if they require teachers with intercultural competencies to help them integrate socially. Conclusions: A reliable and robust scale was developed to assess the perceptions of pre-service primary school teachers about unaccompanied foreign minors. This instrument can be used to identify the knowledge of teachers in training, which allows training actions to be implemented in the context of higher education to raise awareness, detect biases, and make this vulnerable group visible.

The purpose of this research is to measure the level of students' self-efficacy by developing a mathematical self-efficacy instrument and to determine the quality of the developed instrument. This research is categorized as Research and Development (RD). The resulting product of the research is a questionnaire consisting of 28 statements. The development of the mathematical self-efficacy instrument was carried out using a formative research development model. The study was conducted in 11th-grade classes at SMA 90 in South Jakarta. The findings of this research indicate that the developed instrument is valid, reliable, and of reasonably good quality, as it passed the instrument testing stages. Additionally, this research also demonstrates the criteria for students' self-efficacy level using the developed instrument.

Based on the analysis of the observation records from the three devices used by the Jiangxi Earthquake Early Warning Network (seismometer, strong seismometer, and intensity meter), the RMS value and power spectrum of the station site background noise indicate that the seismometer can effectively record the background noise in a wide frequency domain, while the strong seismometer can only effectively record natural noise above 0.1 Hz. In contrast, the intensity meter only records the noise of the device itself, and cannot effectively record microtremor. However, all three kinds of instruments can effectively record seismic events, and can be used for seismic location through the identification of initial movement of P wave. However, when determining the magnitude, the results of strong seismometer and intensity meter will be significantly larger than those of seismometer, so they are only used for reference in practical application.

The contemporary performative scene is defined by the interaction of the means of artistic expression, which determines a permanent renewal of the scenic language. This article discusses the multiple stage practices that animate in the play the theater and music, in their complementarity or dynamic confrontation. These interactions are presented here from the perspective of the specific musical work of the artist Jean-Jacques Lemêtre, who facilitated a voice and movement rhythm workshop at the Faculty of Theater and Film of the Babeș-Bolyai University, March 2023. Unique figure in the theatrical musical landscape, he has been the musician, composer, luthier, and interpreter of the sound universe of the Théâtre du Soleil company's performances for more than forty years. This work aims to demonstrate that music for theater is a special genre born through the process of organic integration of the theatricality of the stage, by assuming the risk of being contaminated by the impurity generated by the actors' bodies that emit their own sound universe. The music for theater is enriched and energized by these experiences born from the osmosis of sound-enhanced image into organic and fruitful connections.

The instrument is one of the supporting successes of learning. Assessment of student behavior will influence students' thoughts and decisions in taking more positive action. This study aims to develop a valid and reliable instrument for students' intention to act and Healthy Eating Behavior. The resulting instrument was a test in the form of a checklist. This research was conducted from March to April 2022 at SMA Negeri 1 Sayur Matinggi with a sample of 38 students from Natural Science 1 and Natural Science 2 classes. The research method uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) adopted from the Branch. However, this research only reached the development stage. The results showed that the instrument for assessing the intention to act, and Healthy Eating Behavior was feasible with the respective expert validation results of 87.50 and 84.38. The results of the empirical validation show that 41 questions about the intention to act and 40 questions about healthy eating behavior were valid because they were more than 0.320, and the reliability was more than 0.6.

La quête d’acceptabilité sociale comme nouvelle norme de l’action publique pour les grands projets implique une transformation des processus décisionnels et des instruments. Au coeur de la transition énergétique, la question du transport de l’électricité apparaît stratégique. Le rôle des ententes sur les retombées et les avantages (ERA) est de plus en plus important et permet de poser la question de la justice distributive. L’article propose d’étudier la question de l’évolution d’une ERA sur quatre décennies, le Programme de mise en valeur intégrée (PMVI) d’Hydro-Québec concernant une vingtaine de projets de lignes à haute tension. Une approche sociopolitique par les instruments est mobilisée à cette fin et permet de rendre compte des résistances, ajustements et changements à l’oeuvre en s’interrogeant sur les implications de cet instrument de type conventionnel et incitatif du point de vue de la justice distributive dans le cadre de la gouvernance énergétique. La méthodologie repose sur l’analyse de contenu des rapports du Bureau d’audiences publiques sur l’environnement (BAPE).

NASA's Lucy mission spacecraft was launched on 16 October 2021 and will perform the initial in situ investigation of the Jovian Trojan asteroids (Levison et al. 2021, 2024). The Lucy LOng Range Reconnaissance Imager (L'LORRI) is a panchromatic visible light (420–795 nm, 50% QE points), narrow-angle (field of view = 0.29°), high spatial resolution (1.0′′ pixel−1) imager used on the Lucy mission for both science observations and optical navigation. L'LORRI is designed to provide maps of the sunlit portions of the Trojan surfaces to a resolution of ∼10 m (after deconvolution), which will enable crater counting to constrain the surface ages. L'LORRI's high sensitivity and large dynamic range permits imaging of the low albedo Trojans at moderately large phase angles (down to I/F values of ∼0.0014 with SNR ≈ 30 using an exposure time of 100 ms), as well as providing early acquisitions of the Trojans during the approach phase, searches for Trojan activity that are ∼10× better than can be obtained from Earth, and deep searches for potential Trojan satellites down to V ≈ 20.4 at spatial resolutions far surpassing that available from Earth. This paper describes the L'LORRI instrument design and the requirements that drove the design. We present results from L'LORRI's ground calibration campaign, summarize the L'LORRI in-flight calibration plan, and describe typical L'LORRI operations scenarios during the Trojan flybys. We also present an analysis of in-flight data taken during the first year of Lucy operations, which show that most aspects of L'LORRI's performance are nominal (i.e., as predicted), but the telescope's point spread function is slightly degraded relative to pre-flight predictions. Nevertheless, L'LORRI is still expected to fulfill all of its scientific objectives, which should revolutionize our view of the Jovian Trojans. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The national and regional interests of the European Union, oil-rich Gulf Cooperation Council and Africa are conflictual in addressing international labour migration. This underscores the structure and ineffectiveness of bilateral migration instruments. The European Union canvasses for migrants' returns, readmission and outsourcing of national border controls; Arab states show reluctance to stop the predominant employer–sponsorship system that curtails labour migrants' human rights, while African states detest migrants' return and readmission, and prefer liberalisation of legal migration and flow of remittances. This article is anchored on the hegemonic stability and regime frame of interventionist liberalism theoretical perspectives to highlight Europe's soft power in migration partnerships or agreements deployed via financial aid and development projects as a way to drive the migration-development-security nexus with African countries. Essentially, African states' asymmetric economic relationship with Europe has accentuated the carrot-and-stick approach, while Arab states' slow pace in allowing the mobility of African labour migrants has led to a reduction in remittance flows. It is recommended that the dialogues between the regional blocs and countries leading to labour migration agreements must find a common ground of mutual interests for effective partnerships to emerge. Aims and Objectives: To identify available instruments for assessing cancer patients' spiritual needs and to examine their psychometric properties using the Consensus‐based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) methodology. Background: Cancer patients frequently have significant spiritual needs. The nurse plays an integral role in assessing the patient's spiritual needs as part of providing holistic care. It is crucial to assess these needs using appropriate and reliable instruments. Design: A systematic review based on COSMIN methodology. Methods: Seven electronic databases (PubMed, EMBASE, CINAHL, Web of Science, ProQuest, CNKI and WANFANG) were systematically searched from inception until 14 February 2023. Two authors independently screened eligible literature, extracted data and evaluated methodological and psychometric quality. This systematic review was conducted following the PRISMA checklist. Results: Sixteen studies have reported 16 different versions of the instruments. None of the instruments were properly assessed for all psychometric properties, nor were measurement error, responsiveness and cross‐cultural validity/measurement invariance reported. All of the instruments failed to meet the COSMIN quality criteria for content validity. The quality of evidence for structural validity and/or internal consistency in five instruments did not meet the COSMIN criteria. Eventually, five instruments were not recommended, and 11 were only weakly recommended. Conclusion: Instruments to assess spiritual needs exhibited limited reliability and validity. The Spiritual Care Needs Scale is provisionally recommended for research and clinical settings, but its limitations regarding content validity and cross‐cultural application must be considered in practice. Future research should further revise the content of available instruments and comprehensively and correctly test their psychometric properties. Relevance to Clinical Practice: The review findings will provide evidence for healthcare professionals to select instruments for recognising spiritual needs in cancer patients. Poor nutritional intake is common among older adults. Given that nutrition knowledge is an important determinant of eating behaviour and nutritional status, understanding areas of inadequate knowledge can guide educational interventions to reduce risk of nutritional deficiencies and promote healthy ageing. This review investigated tools assessing general nutritional knowledge of older adults and their carers. Following the Joanna Briggs for Scoping Reviews guidelines, 4 databases (MEDLINE, CINAHL, Global Health and Embase) and grey literature were searched. Studies of any type containing general nutrition knowledge assessment tools for older adults or their carers were included. In total, 6934 articles were identified, of which 24 met the eligibility criteria, and 23 unique nutrition knowledge assessment tools were included. Of these tools, 14 were original, 6 were modified from other tools and 3 used dietary-related responses from national dietary survey questions. 6 tools were developed for carers (mostly nurses) and 17 tools for older adults. Tools had between 4 and 110 items. The most common topics for general nutrition knowledge questions were related to nutrients and roles, food sources of nutrients, and diet–disease relationships. 8 tools were developed prior to 2000. Most studies did not specify or assess psychometric properties of the tool, with only 9 (38 %) and 6 (26 %) studies testing for reliability and validity, respectively, and only 1 tool was considered reliable. Additional research for the development of reliable and validated tools or the validation of existing tools to assess nutrition knowledge of older adults and their carers is needed across different healthcare settings. In this article, we demonstrate that a single station can be used to measure the dynamic properties of a structure. The station includes a collocated accelerometer and rotational sensor, hence, can record both three-component translation and three-component rotation and is referred to as the 6C-station within this study. The key advantage of this approach is to provide a fast and simple path to a comprehensive structural health monitoring characterization that is comparable to the use of a traditional approach using a horizontal array of three-component accelerometers. The deployment of newly developed high-quality rotational sensors allows the direct measurement of structural rotations, facilitating the extraction of structural mode shapes. In this work, we show how an established system identification tool, stochastic subspace identification, can be applied to the 6C-station data and characterize modal properties and structural response. Our results are verified and contrasted against standard horizontal and vertical array configurations. The Prime Tower, a high-rise structure in Zürich, serves as a case study. A structural characterization of this building is presented for the first time. We show that a 6C-station is capable of defining the frequencies of this stiff high-rise building with a fidelity that is on par with a five-sensor horizontal array. The mode shapes of the roof can be precisely determined with a confidence margin that is comparable to conventional sensing array solutions. However, the effectiveness of using only a 6C-station is determined by the noise level of the sensors--in particular, the rotational seismometer needs to be of high quality. The results indicate that, owing to the collocation measurement of translation and rotation, a 6C-station can deliver a comprehensive structural monitoring solution with minimum time, effort, and footprint. Food neophobia (FN), a frequent disorder in childhood, profoundly impacts the quality of a diet, restricting the intake of nutrients to maintain proper nutrition. Therefore, using the appropriate tools to assess FN in children to promote healthy eating habits is essential. The study aimed to develop an integrative review with a systematic approach to identify the instruments to measure FN in children and analyze their differences. The included studies (n = 17) were more concentrated in Europe, demonstrating the possible lack of dissemination of the topic at a global level. Among the 18 tools, 6 were represented by adaptations of the Food Neophobia Scale (FNS) and the Children's Food Neophobia Scale (CFNS), and one was the CFNS itself, demonstrating the relevance of these pioneering tools. The need to meet mainly cultural and cognitive criteria led to the creation of other instruments (n = 11). A diversity of approaches concerning the respondents, age range, items, scales, and validation methods was revealed. Modifications to the tools in some nations highlighted their adaptability and effectiveness in addressing regional variations. The instruments can contribute to additional research to help us better understand the prevalence of FN in children, resulting in their health and well-being. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

AIM The purpose of this article was to examine the research literature to identify objective, replicable measurement of clinical competence in undergraduate nursing education. BACKGROUND Although a standardized licensure examination is used to determine minimal competence to practice, no consensus on the definition or components of competence exists in the research literature. METHOD A comprehensive search was conducted to locate studies that evaluated nursing students’ general competence in the clinical setting. Twelve reports published from 2010 to 2021 were examined. RESULTS Measures to evaluate competence were varied and contained multiple concepts including attributes of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors, ethics and values, personal attributes, and cognitive or psychomotor skills. Most studies used researcher-created instruments. CONCLUSION Although essential to nursing education, competence in the clinical setting is not commonly defined or evaluated. The lack of standardized instruments has contributed to the use of varied methods and measures for evaluating competence in nursing education and research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Despite the mutual benefit of adoption, due to the adverse attitude related to the barriers perceived by the couples, some people are not interested in adoption. The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a questionnaire to measure attitudes toward child adoption. Materials and Methods: This secondary analysis is part of a larger study on 178 infertile couples referring to the Afzalipour Infertility Center in Kerman, Iran. Factor Analysis (FA) was performed. The sampling was conducted using the convenience sampling method. The questionnaire was implemented using a mixed-method approach in three phases. Firstly, a pool was created. The second phase involved content validity. Lastly, construct validity was conducted. Results: The final version of the questionnaire with 20 questions had a total Cronbach's alpha of 0.70%. Six factors with eigenvalues of higher than 1.00 were extracted, which accounted for 52% of the total variance. These factors were "spiritual–psychological status of the new parents," "psychological status of the adopted child," "undesirable behaviors of others in the future," "anxiety of the new parents," "physical–behavioral characteristics of the adopted child," and "socio-economic factors." The model extracted from the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was confirmed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The 6-factor structure adequately fitted the data (Comparative Fit Index (CFI) = 0.93; root mean square error of approximation [RMSEA] = 0.047; X2/df = 1.393; p = 0.002. At Abdul Moeloek Regional General Hospital in Lampung Province, evaluating radiographers' performance is crucial for ensuring quality radiology services. The current assessment tools for ongoing professional practice and work behavior lack clear, objective indicators and targets. This research uses research and development (R&D) research methods with a quasi-experimental posttest-only non-equivalent control group design. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and FGD. Expert validation and design improvements are conducted, followed by a trial involving 20 radiographers. Validity is tested using corrected items to total correlation, and reliability is assessed using Cronbach's alpha. Next, expert validation tests and design improvements were carried out by 3 experts, and then a limited trial of 20 RSUDAM radiographers carried out a validity test using corrected items to total correlation. Meanwhile, the reliability test uses Cronbach's alpha. The developed instrument, based on indicators and targets, demonstrates valid and reliable measures of radiographer performance. Expert validation through FGD confirms the instrument's effectiveness. Validity test results indicate significance (> 0.05), and reliability tests show Cronbach's alpha values (> 0.60). Normality tests reveal non-distributed data (p-value < 0.05). The following article describes the author's experience during the collaboration (March-July 2023) with the music director of Le Théâtre du Soleil, Jean-Jacques Lemêtre. His activities at the Faculty of Theatre and Film in Cluj, a concert-conference, the workshops with the students and the construction of an "audience course" prepared for the International Theater Festival in Sibiu are presented. Aim: The aim of this scoping review was to evaluate and summarise the measurement properties of nursing research competence instruments and provide a summary overview of the use of nursing research competence instruments. Background: Increasing nursing research competence instruments have been developed. However, a systematic review and evaluation of nursing research competence instruments is lacking. Method: This scoping review was conducted following the Joanna Briggs Institute updated methodology for scoping reviews and reported according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews checklist. Reviewers searched articles in Eight English databases and two Chinese databases between April 1st, 2022, and April 30th, 2022. An updated literature search was conducted between March 1st and March 4th, 2023. The literature screening and data extraction were conducted by two reviewers, independently. A third reviewer was involved when consensus was needed. The COnsensus-based Standards for the selection of health Measurement Instruments methodology was used to evaluate the methodological quality and measurement properties of the nursing research competence instruments. Results: Ten studies involving eight nursing research competence instruments were included. None of the existing instruments have assessed all measurement properties. A total of 177 empirical studies have utilized a nursing research competence instrument with tested measurement properties. Conclusion: 'Self-evaluated Nursing Research Capacity of Questionnaire (refined)' was identified as the most appropriate nursing research competence instrument in existing instruments. However, reviewers need to conduct further measurement properties studies on the existing nursing research competence instruments. Implications for the nursing policy: This study could guide the selection of appropriate nursing research competence instruments which could help to evaluate the nursing research competence of nurses and inform the development of intervention plans to enhance nursing research competence.
