Background: Cerebral vasospasm (CVS) after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) has been extensively investigated, but the impact of collateralization remains unclear. We investigated the predictive value of collateral activation for delayed cerebral ischemia (DCI)-related infarctions and functional outcome. Methods: Data from 43 patients with CVS (January 2014 to August 2021) were evaluated for the angiographic presence of leptomeningeal and ophthalmic collaterals (anterior falcine artery (AFA), supratrochlear artery (STA), dorsal nasal artery (DNA)) on internal carotid artery angiograms. Vasospasm-related infarction and the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score after six months were chosen as the endpoints. Results: 77% of the patients suffered from DCI-related infarctions. In 233 angiograms (at hospitalization, before spasmolysis, after six months), positive vessel signs were observed in 31 patients for STA, 35 for DNA, and 31 for AFA. The STA sign had the highest positive (84.6%) and negative (85.7%) predictive value for unfavorable outcome (mRS 4–6) in patients aged ≥50 years. DNA and AFA signs were not meaningful predictors for either endpoint. Leptomeningeal collaterals showed a positive Pearson’s correlation with the STA sign in 87.5% (p = 0.038) without providing any prediction for either endpoint. Conclusions: The STA sign is associated with clinical outcome in patients with CVS after SAH aged ≥50 years, and was correlated with the occurrence of leptomeningeal collaterals.

The present research focuses on the question whether spirituality, religiosity and maladaptive personality traits, as measured by the PID-5 (antagonism, psychoticism, disinhibition, negative affectivity, detachment), predict epistemologically unfounded beliefs (EUB). The sample included 829 participants recruited through social networks (58% women, mean age 29,98 years). EUB was measured by the Scale of Epistemologically Unfounded Beliefs (Halama, 2019b), which measures three types of EUB: conspiracy, pseudoscientific, and paranormal beliefs. Pathological personality traits were measured by the Short Personality Questionnaire for DSM-5 (PID5-BF, Kruger et al, 2013), spirituality by the Questionnaire of Daily Spirituality (Underwood, 2011) and religiosity by The Religiosity Questionnaire (Storch et al., 2004). The results showed that especially psychoticism is a positive predictor of all EUBs. Spirituality and religiosity predicted only paranormal beliefs. Results confirmed maladaptive personality traits, religiosity, and spirituality can play a significant role in EUB and should be taken into account when considering sources of EUB at the individual level.

Background: The benefit of chemotherapy in colon cancer patients is well documented but depends largely on whether patients complete the planned treatment regimen. We evaluated predictors of early discontinuation (EDChemo) and dose reduction of chemotherapy, especially the role of adverse treatment effects, in stage III patients who received adjuvant chemotherapy. Methods: Stage III colon cancer patients who were diagnosed in 2003–2014 and recruited into a population-based study in Germany and received FOLFOX [5-fluorouracil (5-FU), leucovorin (LV), and oxaliplatin], capecitabine monotherapy (CapMono), or 5-FU/LV were included. We assessed determinants of EDChemo and dose reduction using multivariable logistic regression. Also, we estimated proportions of EDChemo and dose reduction that are attributable to adverse effects using attributable fractions. Results: EDChemo and dose reduction rates were 52% and 17% for FOLFOX, 28% and 9% for CapMono, and 45% and 6% for 5-FU/LV, respectively. Predictors of EDChemo were low-grade tumor and treatment in a medium-volume hospital (for FOLFOX), obesity (for CapMono), and increasing age, T4 stage, and treatment in a medium-volume hospital (for 5-FU/LV). Adverse effects were particularly strongly associated with EDChemo and contributed to about 63%, 51%, and 32% of EDChemo of FOLFOX, CapMono, and 5-FU/LV, respectively. Of the various adverse effects, gastrointestinal events showed the strongest associations with EDChemo and accounted for about 7%, 26%, and 20% of EDChemo of FOLFOX, CapMono, and 5-FU/LV, respectively. Adverse effects were, moreover, a strong determinant of dose reduction and accounted for about 82% of all cases. Conclusions: EDChemo is common in stage III colon cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and more than half of the cases of EDChemo and dose reduction are due to adverse treatment effects. Further research should address the potential for reducing EDChemo and dose reduction rates by close monitoring of patients for early signs and enhanced management of adverse effects, especially gastrointestinal events.

Calathella eruciformis, a species hitherto unknown in Poland, is reported from four localities in the north-eastern part of the country. This wood-inhabiting saprotroph was found on dead decorticated but still attached twigs and branches of living Populus tremula in an oak-hornbeam forest (Carpinion betuli). Macro- and microcharacters of the recently collected material are presented in detail, together with selected illustrations. Examination of ITS rDNA sequences indicated that Calathella is not monophyletic and that the type species of the genus C. eruciformis is alien to the heterogeneous genus Flagelloscypha. Furthermore, molecular evidence is provided for a close relationship between C. eruciformis and the type species of the genus Sphaerobasidioscypha, Sphaerobasidioscypha citrispora.

Zvyšování výkonu parních turbín vede k návrhu nízkotlakých stupňů o velkém průměru, vyznačujících se dlouhými a tenkými lopatkami. Interakce pevných těles s prouděním může způsobit vibrace, které mají za následek sníženou životnost stroje kvůli únavě materiálu. Tato práce představuje matematický model interakce pevného tělesa s tekutinou, navržený za účelem zkoumání vibrací způsobených prouděním. Model je zde aplikován na zjednodušený testovací případ osamoceného profilu leteckého křídla. Model proudění je založen na Eulerových rovnicích v Arbitrary Lagrange-Euler formulaci, diskretizovaných metodou konečných objemů. Jeho validace je provedena prostřednictvím srovnání s experimentálními daty a s numerickými výsledky jiných autorů.

The current project measures personality across cultures, for the first time using a forced-choice (or idiographic) assessment instrument - the California Adult Q-set (CAQ). Correlations among the average personality profiles across 13 countries (total N = 2,370) ranged from r = .69 to r = .98. The most similar averaged personality profiles were between USA/Canada; the least similar were South Korea/Russia/Poland and China/Russia. The Czech Republic had the most homogeneous personality descriptions and South Korea had the least. In further analyses, country differences in CAQ-derived Big Five scores were compared to results obtained from previous research using nomothetic Likert scales (i.e., the NEO; the BFI). The Big Five templates produced generally similar findings to previous research comparing the Big Five across countries using Likert-type methods.

Changes in their expression pattern are known to contribute to tumorigenesis. Smurf2 plays a decisive role in cell differentiation, proliferation, and migration and exhibits a dual role in cancer – functioning as both oncogene and tumor suppressor. Dysregulation of Smurf2 in different cancer types has been described, besides colorectal cancer (CRC). We therefore examined the expression and oncogenic potential of Smurf2 in human CRC patients.Materials and methods: Expression levels of Smurf2 were analyzed via qRT-PCR in CRC specimens and healthy mucosa from 98 patients who had undergone surgery due to CRC. Spatial expression of Smurf2 was additionally studied by immunohistochemistry. siRNA-mediated knockdown of Smurf2 was applied for migration and invasion assays in DLD-1 and SW-480 cells.Results: Smurf2 was significantly overexpressed in CRC tissue compared to corresponding healthy colon mucosa. Smurf2 expression levels differed significantly between microsatellite instable (MSI) and microsatellite stable (MSS) CRC. In patients suffering from MSS CRC, high tumoral expression of Smurf2 was significantly associated with impaired overall survival. Consistently, in vitro analysis revealed that knockdown of Smurf2 reduced the invasive and migratory potential of MSS CRC cells.Conclusion: Smurf2 expression is upregulated in CRC specimens and affects survival dependent on patients’ MSI status. Many years have passed since micronuclei were first observed then accepted as an indicator of the effect of mutagens. However, the possible mechanisms of their formation and elimination from the cell are still not fully understood. Various stresses, including mutagens, can alter gene expression through changes in DNA methylation in plants. In this study we demonstrate for the first time DNA methylation in the foci of 5S and 35S rDNA sequences in individual Brachypodium distachyon micronuclei that are induced by mutagenic treatment with maleic acid hydrazide (MH). The impact of MH on global epigenetic modifications in nuclei and micronuclei has been studied in plants before; however, no in situ analyses of DNA methylation in specific DNA sequence sites are known. To address this problem, we used sequential immunodetection of 5-methylcytosine and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) with 5S and 25S rDNA probes on the non-dividing cells of B. distachyon. Such investigations into the presence or absence of DNA methylation within specific DNA sequences are extremely important in plant mutagenesis in the light of altering gene expression.

Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) with non-targeted metabolomics have identified many genetic loci of biomedical interest. However, metabolites with a high degree of missingness, such as drug metabolites and xenobiotics, are often excluded from such studies due to a lack of statistical power and higher uncertainty in their quantification. Here we propose ratios between related drug metabolites as GWAS phenotypes that can drastically increase power to detect genetic associations between pairs of biochemically related molecules. As a proof-of-concept we conducted a GWAS with 520 individuals from the Qatar Biobank for who at least five of the nine available acetaminophen metabolites have been detected. We identified compelling evidence for genetic variance in acetaminophen glucuronidation and methylation by UGT2A15 and COMT, respectively. Based on the metabolite ratio association profiles of these two loci we hypothesized the chemical structure of one of their products or substrates as being 3-methoxyacetaminophen, which we then confirmed experimentally. Taken together, our study suggests a novel approach to analyze metabolites with a high degree of missingness in a GWAS setting with ratios, and it also demonstrates how pharmacological pathways can be mapped out using non-targeted metabolomics measurements in large population-based studies.

Open treatment of condylar head fractures (CHF) is considered controversial. In this retrospective cohort study our primary objective was therefore to assess bone resorption and remodeling as well as patients function after open treatment of CHF in a medium-term follow-up (15.1 ± 2.2 months). We included 18 patients with 25 CHF who underwent open reduction and internal fixation, between 2016 and 2021, in our analysis. The clinical data and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) datasets were analyzed. The condylar processes were segmented in the postoperative (T1) and follow-up (T2) CBCT scans. Volumetric and linear bone changes were the primary outcome variables, measured by using a sophisticated 3D-algorithm. The mean condylar head volume decreased non-significantly from 3022.01 ± 825.77 mm3 (T1) to 2878.8 ± 735.60 mm3 (T2; p = 0.52). Morphological alterations indicated remodeling and resorption. The pre-operative maximal interincisal opening (MIO) was 19.75 ± 3.07 mm and significantly improved to 40.47 ± 1.7 mm during follow-up (p = 0.0005). Low rates of postoperative complications were observed. Open reduction of CHF leads to good clinical outcomes and low rates of medium-term complications. This study underlines the feasibility and importance of open treatment of CHF and may help to spread its acceptance as the preferred treatment option.

Date fruits are rich in phytochemicals that have anti-oxidative properties and are therefore considered as functional foods. However, it is unclear which part of the date metabolites actually enter the blood stream and remain bioavailable to exert any beneficial action. To answer this question, we conducted a nutritional challenge study in which we monitored plasma metabolome of 21 healthy volunteers after intake of Khlas, Deglet Nour, and glucose at five time points. Among the 1089 identified blood circulating metabolites, we found molecules that were specific to date consumption, including metabolites of the polyphenols ferulic-, caffeic-, and vanillic acid. Consumption of the sucrose-rich Deglet Nour led to a substantial increase in blood sucrose levels. Interestingly, consumption of serotonin-rich dates did not alter serotonin blood levels, but resulted in a sharp increase in its breakdown product 5-hydroxyindolacetate. We elucidated metabolites present in the blood after date consumption with potential health beneficial effect.

Kidney transplantation is the treatment of choice for patients with end-stage kidney failure, but transplanted allograft could be affected by viral and bacterial infections and by immune rejection. The standard test for the diagnosis of acute pathologies in kidney transplants is kidney biopsy. However, noninvasive tests would be desirable. Various methods using different techniques have been developed by the transplantation community. But these methods require improvements. We present here a cost-effective method for kidney rejection diagnosis that estimates donor/recipient-specific DNA fraction in recipient urine by sequencing urinary cell DNA. We hypothesized that in the no-pathology stage, the largest tissue types present in recipient urine are donor kidney cells, and in case of rejection, a larger number of recipient immune cells would be observed. Extensive in-silico simulation was used to tune the sequencing parameters: number of variants and depth of coverage. Sequencing of DNA mixture from 2 healthy individuals showed the method is highly predictive (maximum error < 0.04). We then demonstrated the insignificant impact of familial relationship and ethnicity using an in-house and public database. Lastly, we performed deep DNA sequencing of urinary cell pellets from 32 biopsy-matched samples representing two pathology groups: acute rejection (AR, 11 samples) and acute tubular injury (ATI, 12 samples) and 9 samples with no pathology. We found a significant association between the donor/recipient-specific DNA fraction in the two pathology groups compared to no pathology (P = 0.0064 for AR and P = 0.026 for ATI). We conclude that deep DNA sequencing of urinary cells from kidney allograft recipients offers a noninvasive means of diagnosing acute pathologies in the human kidney allograft.

Different mechanisms lead to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) resistance. Identifying clinically useful biomarkers might improve drug selection and patients’ therapy. We analyzed the soluble immune checkpoints sPD1, sPDL1, sLAG3, and sTIM3 using ELISA and their expression on circulating T cells using FACS in pre- and on-treatment blood samples of ICI treated melanoma patients. In addition, pre-treatment melanoma metastases were stained for TIM3 and LAG3 expression by IHC. Results were correlated with treatment response and progression-free survival (PFS). Resistance to anti-PD1 treatment (n = 48) was associated with high pre-treatment serum levels of sLAG3 (DCR: p = .009; PFS: p = .018; ROC cutoff >148 pg/ml) but not sPD1, sPDL1 or sTIM3. In contrast, resistance to ipilimumab plus nivolumab (n = 42) was associated with high levels of sPD1 (DCR: p = .019, PFS: p = .046; ROC cutoff >167 pg/ml) but not sPDL1, sLAG3 or sTIM3. Various reports have pointed out the potential of cytokines as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA). Nonetheless, the evidence is contradictory and the role of chronic inflammation and relationship between circulatory and corresponding tumoral cytokine levels remain elusive. Utilizing a broad array of cytokines, we identified two opposing parameters: serum levels of interleukin 2 (IL2) and macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) are diagnostic and prognostic factors. While low IL2 levels are associated with PDA, they also relate to a favorable prognosis of patients. In contrast, high MIF levels are associated with PDA and simultaneously related to an unfavorable outcome. MIF levels are associated with the intratumoral density of M2 macrophages (CD163+). Focusing on the tumor-to-serum gradient, we unveiled a different pattern of compartmental cytokine expression between IL2 and MIF. Our findings indicate that an extra-tumoral source of IL2 exists in PDA patients leading to increased detectability in the circulatory system. In case of MIF, the tumor microenvironment is presumably the main site of production and thereby reflected by serum measurements. Taken together, our study describes IL2 and MIF levels as biomarker candidates for diagnosis and prognosis of PDA, highlighting the need for compartmental cytokine analyses. From the perspective of tumor immunobiology, we identify multiple inflammatory states (proposed as types I–III) and see that systemic chronic dysregulation, independent of tumor microenvironment, can be measured and is a possible tool for stratification. Thus, direct correlation of local cytokine levels to peripheral blood levels needs to be regarded with caution.

Purpose: This study is a qualitative inquiry into meaning making during retirement transition. The study focuses on how Slovak retirees reconstruct meanings during the transition and the factors which both help and hinder this process. Methods: Forty individuals (M = 63.36; SD = 2.47) who had recently transitioned into retirement were interviewed and data were analysed using the Consensual Qualitative Research-Modified approach. Results: The analysis generated five basic domains with categories and subcategories of the participants’ responses. The analysis showed that once retired, the participants generally continued to rely on previous meaning sources such as work and family; however, there were changes such as switching from job-related work to work related to hobbies and housekeeping, or from financially providing for the family to maintaining family relationships and grandparenting. The main factors facilitating the meaning making process were positive attitudes and social support for meaning. The risk factors included lack of finances, poor health of retiree or a close person, and the loss of a spouse. Conclusions: In general, the research showed that the main features of the retirees’ meaning making processes were maintaining accessible sources, compensating for sources lost during the transition, and managing beneficial and risk factors.

On behalf of the International Test Commission and the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations a world-wide survey on the opinions of professional psychologists on testing practices was carried out. The main objective of this study was to collect data for a better understanding of the state of psychological testing worldwide. These data could guide the actions and measures taken by ITC, EFPA, and other stakeholders. A questionnaire was administered to 20,467 professional psychologists from 29 countries. Five scales were constructed relating to: concern over incorrect test use, regulations on tests and testing, internet and computerized testing, appreciation of tests, and knowledge and training relating to test use. Equivalence across countries was evaluated using the alignment method, four scales demonstrated acceptable levels of invariance. Multilevel analysis was used to determine how scores were related to age, gender, and specialization, as well as how scores varied between countries. Although the results show a high appreciation of tests in general, the appreciation of internet and computerized testing is much lower. These scales show low variability over countries, whereas differences between countries on the other reported scales are much greater. This implies the need for some overarching improvements as well as country-specific actions.

Hodophilus variabilipes, a species hitherto unknown in Poland, has been reported from a single locality in the Pieniny Mts (S Poland). The first studies on H. variabilipes were those of macro- and microscopic features and molecular characteristics (ITS1-5.8S-ITS2 rDNA sequences). Here, a brief description and illustration of H. variabilipes based on Polish material are given, and the ecology and characteristics distinguishing H. variabilipes from related species of the genus Hodophilus are briefly discussed.

The paper deals with an approximate method for calculating elastic–plastic stresses and strains on the surface of notched samples. The method is based on the Abdel–Karim–Ohno cyclic plasticity model. The plane stress condition is considered within the evaluation. The output of the approximation on several multiaxial axial–torsion load paths is compared to our own experimental results. Experiments were carried out on samples of two notch types manufactured from the 2124-T851 aluminum alloy. Strain distribution in the notch area was measured by digital image correlation. The comparison between computational solution and measured response shows that the new method allows for obtaining reasonably good approximation, even for relatively complicated multiaxial load cases.

Reverse engineering is the process of creating a digital version of an existing part without any knowledge in advance about the design intent. Due to 3D printing, the reconstructed part can be rapidly fabricated for prototyping or even for practical usage. To showcase this combination, this study presents a workflow on how to restore a motorcycle braking pedal from material SS316L with the Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) technology. Firstly, the CAD model of the original braking pedal was created. Before the actual PBF printing, the braking pedal printing process was simulated to identify the possible imperfections. The printed braking pedal was then subjected to quality control in terms of the shape distortion from its CAD counterpart and strength assessments, conducted both numerically and physically. As a result, the exterior shape of the braking pedal was restored. Additionally, by means of material assessments and physical tests, it was able to prove that the restored pedal was fully functional. Finally, an approach was proposed to optimize the braking pedal with a lattice structure to utilize the advantages the PBF technology offers.

Tumor growth and metastasis strongly depend on adapted cell metabolism. Cancer cells adjust their metabolic program to their specific energy needs and in response to an often challenging tumor microenvironment. Glutamine metabolism is one of the metabolic pathways that can be successfully targeted in cancer treatment. The dependence of many hematological and solid tumors on glutamine is associated with mitochondrial glutaminase (GLS) activity that enables channeling of glutamine into the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, generation of ATP and NADPH, and regulation of glutathione homeostasis and reactive oxygen species (ROS). Small molecules that target glutamine metabolism through inhibition of GLS therefore simultaneously limit energy availability and increase oxidative stress. However, some cancers can reprogram their metabolism to evade this metabolic trap. Therefore, the effectiveness of treatment strategies that rely solely on glutamine inhibition is limited. In this review, we discuss the metabolic and molecular pathways that are linked to dysregulated glutamine metabolism in multiple cancer types. We further summarize and review current clinical trials of glutaminolysis inhibition in cancer patients. Finally, we put into perspective strategies that deploy a combined treatment targeting glutamine metabolism along with other molecular or metabolic pathways and discuss their potential for clinical applications.

Leratiomyces ceres, an extra-European species hitherto unknown in Poland, was identified in a public park in Rybnik City (SW Poland). The first Polish collections of the fungus were studied using macroscopic and microscopic features. A brief description and illustration of the species, based on Polish specimens, are presented. The ecology and characteristics distinguishing L. ceres from related Leratiomyces species are also discussed.

Objective Measuring the success of molecularly guided therapies is a major challenge in precision oncology trials. A commonly used endpoint is an intra-patient progression-free survival (PFS) ratio, defined as the PFS interval associated with molecularly guided therapy (PFS2) divided by the PFS interval associated with the last prior systemic therapy (PFS1), above 1.3 or, in some studies, above 1.33 or 1.5.Methods To investigate if the concept of PFS ratios is in agreement with actual response evaluations by physicians, we conducted a survey among members of the MASTER (Molecularly Aided Stratification for Tumor Eradication Research) Programme of the German Cancer Consortium who were asked to classify the success of molecularly guided therapies in 194 patients enrolled in the MOSCATO 01 trial based on PFS1 and PFS2 times.Results A comparison of classification profiles revealed three distinct clusters of PFS benefit assessments. Only 29% of assessments were consistent with a PFS ratio threshold of 1.3, whereas the remaining 71% of participants applied a different classification scheme that did not rely on the relation between PFS times alone, but also took into account absolute PFS1 intervals. Based on these community-driven insights, we developed a modified PFS ratio that incorporates the influence of absolute PFS1 intervals on the judgement of clinical benefit by physicians. Application of the modified PFS ratio to outcome data from two recent precision oncology trials, MOSCATO 01 and WINTHER, revealed significantly improved concordance with physician-perceived clinical benefit and identified comparable proportions of patients who benefited from molecularly guided therapies.Conclusions The modified PFS ratio may represent a meaningful clinical endpoint that could aid in the design and interpretation of future precision oncology trials.

Fluid-mediated mineral dissolution is a key mechanism for mineral reactions in the Earth. Here, the authors show that element transport during mineral dissolution and reprecipitation reactions can be mediated by an amorphous phase, which can contain significant amounts of metals.

Septoria tritici blotch, caused by the fungal pathogen Zymoseptoria tritici, is a highly significant disease on wheat crops worldwide. The objective of the present study was to find out new bacterial strains with bio-antimicrobial activity against Z. tritici. Two phyllospheric bacteria (S1 and S6) were isolated from wheat ears and identified as Bacillus velezensis strains according to 16S rRNA Sanger sequencing. Antagonistic assays performed with either living strains or cell-free culture filtrates showed significant in vitro antifungal activities against Z. tritici. For the culture filtrates, the half-maximal inhibitory dilution and the minimal inhibitory dilution were 1.4% and 3.7% for the strain S1, and 7.4% and 15% for the strain S6, respectively. MALDI—ToF analysis revealed that both strains synthesize cyclic lipopeptides but from different families. Interestingly, only strain S1 produces putative bacillomycin D. Such differential lipopeptide production patterns might explain the difference observed between the antifungal activity of the culture filtrates of the two strains. This study allows the identification of new lipopeptide-producing strains of B. velezensis with a high potential of application for the biocontrol of Z. tritici.

Background: Granulin is a secreted, glycosylated peptide—originated by cleavage from a precursor protein—which is involved in cell growth, tumor invasion and angiogenesis. However, the specific prognostic impact of granulin in human colorectal cancer has only been studied to a limited extent. Thus, we wanted to assess the expression of granulin in colorectal cancer patients to evaluate its potential as a prognostic biomarker. Methods: Expressional differences of granulin in colorectal carcinoma tissue (n = 94) and corresponding healthy colon mucosa were assessed using qRT-PCR. Immunohistochemistry was performed in colorectal cancer specimens (n = 97), corresponding healthy mucosa (n = 47) and colorectal adenomas (n = 19). Subsequently, the results were correlated with histopathological and clinical patients’ data. HCT-116 cells were transfected with siRNA for invasion and migration assays. Results: Immunohistochemistry and qRT-PCR revealed tumoral over expression of granulin in colorectal cancer specimens compared to corresponding healthy colon mucosa and adenomas. Tumoral overexpression of granulin was associated with a significantly impaired overall survival. Moreover, downregulation of granulin by siRNA significantly diminished the invasive capacities of HCT-116 cells in vitro. Conclusion: Expression of granulin differs in colorectal cancer tissue, adenomas and healthy colon mucosa. Furthermore, granulin features invasive and migrative capabilities and overexpression of granulin correlates with a dismal prognosis. This reveals its potential as a prognostic biomarker and granulin could be a worthwhile molecular target for individualized anticancer therapy.
