Old individuals are more likely to develop pneumonia and respiratory failure due to alveolar damage, suggesting that lung senescence may increase the susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 infection and replication. Considering that human coronavirus (HCoVs; SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV) require host cellular factors for infection and replication, we analyzed Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) data to test whether lung aging is associated with transcriptional changes in human protein-coding genes that potentially interact with these viruses. We found decreased expression of the gene tribbles homolog 3 (TRIB3) during aging in male individuals, and its protein was predicted to interact with HCoVs nucleocapsid protein and RNA-dependent RNA polymerase. Using publicly available lung single-cell data, we found TRIB3 expressed mainly in alveolar epithelial cells that express SARS-CoV-2 receptor ACE2. Functional enrichment analysis of age-related genes, in common with SARS-CoV-induced perturbations, revealed genes associated with the mitotic cell cycle and surfactant metabolism. Given that TRIB3 was previously reported to decrease virus infection and replication, the decreased expression of TRIB3 in aged lungs may help explain why older male patients are related to more severe cases of the COVID-19. Thus, drugs that stimulate TRIB3 expression should be evaluated as a potential therapy for the disease. The study aimed to verify the discriminant capacity of the factors of the Clinical Dimensional Personality Inventory 2 (IDCP-2) in the identification of people with substance dependence, as well as to compare this capacity with another instrument that evaluates pathological traits, the Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID-5). The sample was composed of 253 adults distributed in three groups: community sample, represented by 110 individuals with ages between 20 and 66 years (M = 32.3; SD = 10,1), 71.8% women; subclinical, 119 individual aged from 18 to 63 (M = 30.4; SD = 8.34), 61.3% women; clinical, 24 individual with ages between 19 and 59 (M = 36,4; SD = 11.2), 83.3% men. Two scales for substance dependence identification were administered (AUDIT and ASSIST), IDCP-2, and PID-5. Findings indicated that IDCP-2 is capable of discriminating between groups, mainly the extreme ones (i.e., clinical sample versus community sample). Moreover, similar discriminant capacity between IDCP-2 and PID-5 was observed. These findings are preliminary evidence that the IDCP-2 factors can identify people with substance dependence, with Hopelessness being the leading factor in the assessment of substance dependents.

In this paper, NiZnCo ferrite was produced by solid state synthesis, calcination at 1000?C and sintering at 1250?C in air atmosphere. The microstructure and phases of the sintered sample were analysed by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. The magnetic properties of the ferrite were evaluated by magnetization and magnetostriction measurements. The complex magnetic permeability and complex permittivity were also measured between 1MHz-12GHz and the reflection loss (RL) was calculated in the 100MHz-12GHz frequency range. The results show that the ferrite sample presents magnetostrictive behaviour and a saturation magnetization of 71 Am2/kg. Complex permittivity measurements indicate that the material has dielectric behaviour in the whole frequency range studied, with "? varying between 7-40, and magnetic behaviour in frequencies between 1MHz-5GHz. The minimum RL was found at frequencies between 2.4-3.3GHz and the calculated RL value for a thickness of 3mm was lower than ?10 dB in frequencies between 2.3-7.3GHz. These results indicate potential application as microwave absorber in the S band.

Cows were subjected to an Ovsynch protocol, with the time of the second GnRH treatment defined as Day 0 (D0). On D6, cows were randomly allocated into three treatments: Control (2 mL saline, im; n = 10), 2XPGF (two doses of 500 μg of cloprostenol, im, 2 h apart; n = 8) or 1/6PGF (single dose of 83.3 μg of cloprostenol, im; n = 10). Before treatments and every 8 h during the 48-h experimental period, blood samples were collected and CL volumes measured. Furthermore, two CL biopsies were obtained at 24 and 40 h post-treatment. The 1/6PGF treatment caused partial luteolysis, characterized by sudden decreases in plasma progesterone (P4) concentrations, luteal volume and LLC size, followed by increases (to pretreatment values) in P4 and luteal volume at 24 and 40 h post-treatment, respectively. However, at the end of the study, P4, luteal volume and LLC size were all significantly smaller than in Control cows. Temporally associated with these phenotypes, there was a lower mRNA abundance of VEGFA at 24 and 40 h, and ABCA1 at 24 h (P < 0.05). In conclusion, a sudden reduction in CL size during partial luteolysis induced by a sub-dose of PGF2α analog on day 6 of the estrous cycle was attributed to a reduction in LLC size, although these changes did not account for the entire phenomenon. In addition to its involvement in reducing CL size, decreased VEGFA mRNA abundance impaired CL development, resulting in a smaller luteal gland and lower plasma P4 concentrations compared to Control cows. This study investigated relationships between career adaptability and personality and pathological traits using the network analysis approach. We administered CAAS, BFI-2-S, and IDCP-2 to 630 working adults. We observed positive associations between personality and career adaptability and negative associations between pathological traits and career adaptability. This paper contributes to the understanding of the associations between career adaptability and Big Five personality traits and pathological traits. We found stronger associations between career adaptability and personality traits as compared to pathological traits. Our findings suggest that Neuroticism and Conscientiousness contribute more to adaptation to professional development tasks than do pathological traits.

A new dimensional-based framework was proposed, the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology (HiTOP). This study aimed to develop a specific version of the Dimensional Clinical Personality Inventory 2 (IDCP-2), focused on the assessment of the schizoid personality disorder (SZPD) according to the HiTOP. In stage 1, we developed a new factor to cover all SZPD traits, as presented in the HiTOP. Six factors (one new and five from the IDCP-2) composed the IDCP-SZPD. In stage 2, 434 adults from the community, aged from 18 to 67 years (M=31.6, SD=9.7), completed factors from three self-report measures: the IDCP-SZPD, PID-5, and FFaVA. The IDCP-SZPD factors and total score presented high reliability. Correlations and a bootstrap two-sample t-test comparison corroborated the expectations. Although we found evidence supporting the use of the IDCP-SZPD for the measurement of SZPD traits, further research is needed to verify the replicability of the present findings in samples composed of SZPD patients.

Made available in DSpace on 2020-12-12T01:58:25Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2020-08-01 Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) Background: Cachexia is a multifactorial syndrome highly associated with specific tumour types, but the causes of variation in cachexia prevalence and severity are unknown. While circulating plasma mediators (soluble cachectic factors) derived from tumours have been implicated with the pathogenesis of the syndrome, these associations were generally based on plasma concentration rather than tissue-specific gene expression levels. Here, we hypothesized that tumour gene expression profiling of cachexia-inducing factors (CIFs) in human cancers with different prevalence of cachexia could reveal potential cancer-specific cachexia mediators and biomarkers of clinical outcome. Methods: First, we combined uniformly processed RNA sequencing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas and Genotype-Tissue Expression databases to characterize the expression profile of secretome genes in 12 cancer types (4651 samples) compared with their matched normal tissues (2737 samples). We systematically investigated the transcriptomic data to assess the tumour expression profile of 25 known CIFs and their predictive values for patient survival. We used the Xena Functional Genomics tool to analyse the gene expression of CIFs according to neoplastic cellularity in pancreatic adenocarcinoma, which is known to present the highest prevalence of cachexia. Results: A comprehensive characterization of the expression profiling of secreted genes in different human cancers revealed pathways and mediators with a potential role in cachexia within the tumour microenvironment. Cytokine-related and chemokine-related pathways were enriched in tumour types frequently associated with the syndrome. CIFs presented a tumour-specific expression profile, in which the number of upregulated genes was correlated with the cachexia prevalence (r2: 0.80; P value: 0.002) and weight loss (r2: 0.81; P value: 0.002). The distinct gene expression profile, according to tumour type, was significantly associated with prognosis (P value ≤ 1.96 E-06). In pancreatic adenocarcinoma, the upregulated CIF genes were associated with tumours presenting low neoplastic cellularity and high leucocyte fraction and not with tumour grade. Conclusions: Our results present a biological dimension of tumour-secreted elements that are potentially useful to explain why specific cancer types are more likely to develop cachexia. The tumour-specific profile of CIFs may help the future development of better targeted therapies to treat cancer types highly associated with the syndrome. Aim of the studyOur study investigates associations between social isolation and indicators of general mental health, well-being, depression, anxiety, loneliness, and stress in Brazilian adults. Variables to measure aspects to ease the isolation impact (ease-isolating variables) were also included.Subject or material and methods539 Brazilian adults were recruited by convenience from March 25 to April 07, 2020. We administered a questionnaire on isolation behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic, the WHO-5, the GHQ-12, the CLA, the GAD-7, the PSS-10, and the CES-D. To analyze data, we relied upon the network analysis approach.ResultsCOVID-19 isolation variables showed positive relationships with mental health indicators, and ease-isolating variables presented mixed associations with mental health indicators. For instance, satisfaction with the quality of social interactions connected strongly and positively with the well-being variable, while negatively with loneliness and general psychological symptoms.DiscussionOur hypotheses were partially confirmed.ConclusionsWe can conclude that the damage to mental health associated with social isolation during the pandemic can be minimized by maintaining satisfactory interpersonal relationships. We have three direct recommendations: mental health professionals should (a) elaborate strategies that contemplate the use of virtual tools to alleviate depressive feelings resulting from isolation, (b) give particular attention to risk groups that are most impacted by the isolation imposed by a pandemic situation and may suffer from loneliness, and (c) consider anxiety control strategies for the anxiogenic adverse reaction generated by the worldwide alert in times of disease outbreaks.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of crude glycerin (CG) on the diet of goats in feedlot, in terms of intake and nutrient digestibility, performance, feeding behavior, and metabolic profile. Forty castrated male goats with breed undefined and an average initial body weight of 19.7±2.3 kg were used. The experimental diets consisted of inclusion of CG at 0, 6, 12 and 18 % (based on DM). The DM (g/day), DM (g/kg), organic matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, non-fiber carbohydrate, total digestible nutrients, and water intakes were decreased linearly with increasing CG levels, whereas ether extract intake increased linearly. The daily time spent (%) and average duration of events (h/d) for rumination presented a linear increase, although reduced for idling, as well as feeding and rumination efficiencies. The inclusion of CG did not affect the final body weight, total weight gain, and average daily gain. Serum cholesterol concentration presented a linear increasing effect. However, beta-hydroxybutyrate level was reduced. Crude glycerin containing 63.06% glycerol may partially replace corn and be included at a concentration of up to 18% of dry matter in the diet of finished goats in feedlot when moderate weight gains are desired, especially beneficial in semiarid regions.

An experimental and theoretical study based on DFT/TD-DFT approximations is presented to understand the nature of electronic excitations, reactivity, and NLO properties of reactive orange 16 dye (RO16), an azo chromophore widely used in textile and pharmacological industries. The results show that the solvent has a considerable influence on the electronic properties of the material. According to experimental results, the absorption spectrum is noticed by four intense transitions, which have been identified as $\pi\rightarrow\pi^*$ states using TD-DFT calculations. However, the TD-DFT results reveal a weak $n\rightarrow\pi^*$ in the low-lying spectral region. Continuum models of solvation indicate that these states suffer bathochromic and hypsochromic shifts, respectively. However, the expected blue shift for the absorption $n\rightarrow\pi^*$ is only described using long-range or dispersion-corrected DFT methods. RO16 is classified as a strong electrophilic system ($\omega > 1.5$ eV). From vacuum to solvent, the environment is active and changes the nucleophilic status from strong to moderate nucleophile ($2.0 \leq N \leq 3.0$ eV). The results also suggest that all electrical constants are strongly dependent on long-rang and Hartree-Fock exchange contributions, and the absence of these interactions gives results far from reality. In particular, the results for the NLO response show that the chromophore presents a potential application in this field, with a low refractive index, and first-hyperpolarizability ca. 214 times bigger than the value usually reported for urea ($\beta = 0.34 \times 10^{-30}$ esu), which is a standard NLO material. Concerning the solvent effects, the results indicate that $\beta_\textrm{total}$ increases ca. 180\% regarding the gas-phase value. The results suggest RO16 is a potential compound in NLO applications.

- Abstract
Climate change is expected to alter impacts of invasive alien species (IAS). As omnivorous and ectotherms, invasive crayfish species (ICS) can be particularly influenced by altered thermal regimes with possible impacts on native species and key ecosystem processes, such as leaf-litter breakdown. We performed a controlled study using a multi-trophic approach to assess the individual and combined effects between two ICS (Pacifastacus leniusculus and Procambarus clarkii) on leaf-litter breakdown under temperature increase (15 and 18ºC). We used one or two species combinations of ICS (2-individuals per aquarium) and 3-individuals of a native invertebrate detritivore (Sericostoma sp.) trapped inside a transparent cage and a fine-mesh bag containing microbially-colonized oak leaves. Oak leaves were added to assess direct and indirect impacts of crayfish on leaf-litter breakdown and fine particulate organic matter (FPOM) production. Leaf-litter breakdown by microbes and Sericostoma was affected by temperature but not by the influence of ICS. Increasing temperature enhanced leaf-litter breakdown and FPOM production by P. clarkii, but not by P. leniusculus. At 15ºC, leaf breakdown was lower in treatments with both ICS than the expected from their individual performances, indicating competitive interactions between crayfish species. FPOM production was significantly correlated with leaf-litter breakdown but not in treatments with both ICS. Our results highlight that competitive interactions between ICS may occur and potentially attenuate their impacts on key ecological processes. However, predicted increases in temperature may change the performance of IAS and increase the magnitude of their combined effects.

This study aimed to test the predictive capacity of pathological traits of personality and career adaptability on four constructs that compose the well-being at work: work engagement, job satisfaction, burnout, and workaholism. A total of 204 Brazilian working adults (M age = 34.02, SD = 10.39) participated in the study, which responded to scales measuring pathological traits, career adaptability resources, and well-being components at work. Our findings indicate that pathological traits are, in general, negatively related to job satisfaction and work engagement and positively associated with burnout and workaholism. After the insertion of career adaptability, there was an increase in most of the models' explanation. The contribution of adaptability was significant only for job satisfaction prediction.

With the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic, different sectors in Portugal suffered changes on their dynamics, one of them being real estate, specifically the residential sector. Through a panel data regression analysis for different time periods, we investigate the impact of the pandemic period as well as the intensity of the number of new cases per inhabitant on the median value per square meter of dwellings sales and median rent value per square meter of new lease agreements of dwelling, at municipality level. In addition, we analyse the same impact on the median value per square meter of dwellings sales at parish level. According to the results of the regressions at municipality level, the impact of the pandemic in the housing market, in terms of new confirmed cases, on the median price was not significant, with only a less significant increase in prices observed amid 2020, while on the median rent value there is a significant negative impact in Lisbon and Porto On the other hand, at parish level, in post-pandemic period, there is a bigger decrease in the median price in the closest parishes from the centre of Lisbon and Porto, as well as a less intense increase depending on the population density. Additionally, the increase in the number of new confirmed cases of a given municipality demonstrates a negative impact on the median price of a given parish in the metropolitan areas. info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion

This study investigated the associations of multidimensional perfectionism with positive affect and negative outcomes (affect and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder [OCPD] pathological traits) through network analysis. The sample consisted of 604 Brazilian adults aged 18-74 years. The network analysis showed that perfectionistic concerns (PC) is strongly and positively associated with negative outcomes, while perfectionistic strivings (PS) maintain positive associations with positive affect, but not negative affect. Negative affect seems to operate as a bridge between perfectionism and OCPD pathological traits, raising crucial questions about the antecedent and consequential role of affect for understanding perfectionism's development and the traits observed in individuals with OCPD. We discuss the limitations and strengths of the study.

No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2021-09-01 Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) To gain insight on the impact of preventive exercise during pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), we evaluated the gene expression of myosins and gene-encoding proteins associated with the extracellular matrix remodeling of right hypertrophied ventricles. We used 32 male Wistar rats, separated in four groups: Sedentary Control (S, n = 8); Control with Training (T, n = 8); Sedentary with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (SPAH, n = 8); and Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension with Training (TPAH, n = 8). All rats underwent a two-week adaptation period; T and TPAH group rats then proceeded to an eight-week training period on a treadmill. At the beginning of the 11th week, S and T groups received an intraperitoneal injection of saline, and SPAH and TPAH groups received an injection of monocrotaline (60 mg/kg). Rats in the T and TPAH groups then continued with the training protocol until the 13th week. We assessed exercise capacity, echocardiography analysis, Fulton’s index, cross-sectional areas of cardiomyocytes, collagen content and types, and fractal dimension (FD). Transcript abundance of myosins and extracellular matrix genes were estimated through reverse transcription-quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR). When compared to the SPAH group, the TPAH group showed increases in functional capacity and pulmonary artery acceleration time/pulmonary ejection time ratio and decreases in Fulton’s index and cross-sectional areas of myocyte cells. However, preventive exercise did not induce alterations in col1a1 and myh7 gene expression. Our findings demonstrate that preventive exercise improved functional capacity, reduced cardiac hypertrophy, and attenuated PH development without interfering in mRNA-encoding myosin and collagen expression during PAH. This study aimed to develop a specific version of the Dimensional Clinical Personality Inventory 2 (IDCP-2), focused on the assessment of avoidant personality disorder (AvPD) according to the Hierarchical Taxonomy of Psychopathology (HiTOP). First, we developed the IDCP-Av, composed of one new factor and four factors from the IDCP-2. A total of 436 adults completed this, and two external measures (PID-5 and FFAvA). The IDCP-Av factors and its total score presented high reliability. Correlations and group comparisons were coherent, corroborating expectations. Favorable evidence was observed for the use of the IDCP-Av for the measurement of AvPD, although future studies should replicate the findings in samples composed of patients.

The aim of the study was to verify the predictive capacity of the indicator of pathological personality (IPP) regarding work engagement, job satisfaction, and burnout. A total of 228 Brazilian workers answered the IDCP-SV, EEGT, EST, and MBI-HSS. Structural Equation Modeling was used to predict work engagement, job satisfaction, and burnout using the IPP. The results showed that the IPP can negatively predict work engagement and job satisfaction, and positively predict burnout. We observed that workers with high levels of pathological personality functioning are less engaged and satisfied with work and present higher levels of burnout, as hypothesized in this study. The findings indicate the importance of evaluating personality traits, especially pathological traits, in hiring processes and in promoting well-being at work.

Background and objectives This study aimed to establish a clinical cut-off for the self-report Conscientiousness dimension of the Dimensional Clinical Personality Inventory 2 (IDCP-2) for people with Obsessive–compulsive personality disorder (OCPD) diagnosis. The following hypotheses were raised: (1) scale should be more reliable for assessing more pathological levels compared to milder levels of conscientiousness, and (2) items should be able to discriminate OCPD patients from other groups (i.e., non-patients and mental health patients). Methods Participants were 2449 adults, among outpatients diagnosed with OCPD, outpatients diagnosed with other PDs, and adults from the community. Results According to the Wright map, outpatients were located at the very high level on the latent continuum of the Conscientiousness dimension, with a larger effect size for the mean difference between OCPD patients and non-patients. The ROC curve indicated a cutoff at −.33 score in theta standardization, with 85% of sensitivity and 58% of specificity. Conclusion Findings from this investigation suggest the IDCP-2 Conscientiousness dimension as useful for screening purposes of the core traits of the OCPD. Potential clinical applications for the scale and limitations from the present study are discussed.

Fasting followed by refeeding may promote compensatory growth, thus optimizing growth performance. During fasting and refeeding, fast-twitch muscle, which comprises most of fish fillet, undergoes intense plasticity. In this work, we studied the proteome of pacu (Piaractus mesopotamicus)fast-twitch muscle after 30 days of fasting (D30), 30 days of refeeding (D60)and 60 days of refeeding (D90)with two-dimensional electrophoresis, mass spectrometry and bioinformatics. Body mass, growth rate and muscle histology were also assessed. At D30, fish presented muscle catabolism and decreased growth. Proteomic analysis showed that metabolism proteins were the most affected, up and downregulated. Cytoskeleton and amino acid biosynthesis proteins were downregulated, while nuclear and regulatory proteins were upregulated. At D60, fish showed accelerated growth, despite the body mass not completely recovering. Metabolism proteins were still the most affected. Amino acid biosynthesis proteins became upregulated, while cytoskeleton proteins remained downregulated. At D90, the fish presented total compensatory growth. Many metabolic proteins were up or downregulated. Few cytoskeleton proteins remained differentially expressed. Amino acid biosynthesis proteins were mostly upregulated, but less than at D60. Prolonged fasting followed by refeeding also led to the regulation of possible meat quality biomarkers, such as antioxidant enzymes. This fact suggests possible consequences of this protocol on fish meat quality. Our work also enriches our knowledge on proteomic changes during muscle plasticity that occur during fasting and refeeding diet protocols. Currently, CML treatment is based on tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). However, allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT-allo) is currently the only effective treatment of CML. The difficulty of finding a compatible donor and high rates of morbidity and mortality limit transplantation treatment. Despite the safety and efficacy of TKIs, patients can develop resistance. Thus, microRNAs (miRNAs) play a prominent role as biomarkers and post-transcriptional regulators of gene expression. The aim of this study was to analyze the miRNA profile in CML patients who achieved cytogenetic remission after treatment with both HSCT-allo and TKI. Expression analyses of the 758 miRNAs were performed using reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). Bioinformatics tools were used for data analysis. We detected miRNA profiles using their possible target genes and target pathways. MiR-125a-3p stood out among the downregulated miRNAs, showing an interaction network with 52 target genes. MiR-320b was the only upregulated miRNA, with an interaction network of 26 genes. The results are expected to aid future studies of miRNAs, residual leukemic cells, and prognosis in CML. The internal structure is investigated in mental health measures, exploring or confirming the association of stimuli composing the test and whether this structure is consistent with expectation. Our focus is on the internal structure of the Dimensional Clinical Personality Inventory 2 (idcp-2), a self-report test for pathological traits measurement. Previous studies have only partially verified the internal structure of idcp-2. The objective of this study is to verify the internal structure of idcp-2, contemplating in the same analysis all its dimensions and factors. Participants were 2,000 people from the general population. We conducted confirmatory (cfa) and exploratory (efa) factorial analyzes, including bifactor models. The results showed the bifactor model with 12 specific factors with best fit indices. The internal consistency for the general factor was above .90, and from .40 to .91 for the specific factors. Findings suggested the original solution of idcp-2 is reasonable using a bifactor model. How to cite this article: Carvalho, L.F., Gonçalves, A.P., Araujo, J.A., Macedo F.M. (2021). No. of bitstreams: 0 Previous issue date: 2021-12-01 Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP) Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq) Background: Colossoma macropomum (tambaqui) and Piaractus mesopotamicus (pacu) are good fish species for aquaculture. The tambacu, individuals originating from the induced hybridization of the female tambaqui with the male pacu, present rapid growth and robustness, characteristics which have made the tambacu a good choice for Brazilian fish farms. Here, we used small RNA sequencing to examine global miRNA expression in the genotypes pacu (PC), tambaqui (TQ), and hybrid tambacu (TC), (Juveniles, n = 5 per genotype), to better understand the relationship between tambacu and its parental species, and also to clarify the mechanisms involved in tambacu muscle growth and maintenance based on miRNAs expression. Results: Regarding differentially expressed (DE) miRNAs between the three genotypes, we observed 8 upregulated and 7 downregulated miRNAs considering TC vs. PC; 14 miRNAs were upregulated and 10 were downregulated considering TC vs. TQ, and 15 miRNAs upregulated and 9 were downregulated considering PC vs. TQ. The majority of the miRNAs showed specific regulation for each genotype pair, and no miRNA were shared between the 3 genotype pairs, in both up- and down-regulated miRNAs. Considering only the miRNAs with validated target genes, we observed the miRNAs miR-144-3p, miR-138-5p, miR-206-3p, and miR-499-5p. GO enrichment analysis showed that the main target genes for these miRNAs were grouped in pathways related to oxygen homeostasis, blood vessel modulation, and oxidative metabolism. Conclusions: Our global miRNA analysis provided interesting DE miRNAs in the skeletal muscle of pacu, tambaqui, and the hybrid tambacu. In addition, in the hybrid tambacu, we identified some miRNAs controlling important molecular muscle markers that could be relevant for the farming maximization.
