Human matching between different fields of view is a difficult problem in intelligent video surveillance; whereas fusing multiple features has become a strong tool to solve it. In order to guide the fusion scheme, it is necessary to evaluate the matching performance of these features. In this paper, four typical features are chosen for the evaluation. They are the Color Histogram, UV Chromaticity, Major Color Spectrum Histogram, and Scale-Invariant Features (SIFT). Quantities of video data are collected to test their general accuracy, robustness, and real-time applicability. The robustness is measured under the conditions of illumination changes, Gaussian and salt noises, foreground errors, resolution changes, and camera angle differences. The experimental results show that the four features bear distinctive performances under the different conditions, which will provide important references for the feature fusion methods.

To observe the effect of Aike Mixture (AKM) on prostatic inflammatory infiltration in patients with chronic prostatitis type III A (III A-CP/CPPS) and evaluate its anti-inflammatory action. METHODS METHODS: A total of 60 patients with III A-CP/CPPS suitable to operation and differentiated as Chinese medicine: Gan qi stagnancy syndrome type were selected. They were assigned with the random number table to two groups equally. Before operation, the patients in the treated group were administered with Proscar combined with AKM, but those in the control group treated with Proscar only. Suprapubic transvesical prostatectomy was performed two weeks later, and prostatic pathological examination was conducted.Grading of: inflammatory cell infiltration showed that the mean grade in the treated group was 0.78 ± 0.90 grades, which was significantly lower than that in the control group 1.68 ± 0.87 grades (P0.05). However, the two groups were not different in the grades of fibroblast proliferation (1.50 ± 0.70 grades vs 1.62 ± 0.87 grades, P0.05).AKM could suppress the inflammatory cell infiltration, be an effective and safe remedy for the treatment of IIIA-CP/CPPS of Gan-qi stagnancy syndrome type, and worthy for spreading in clinical use.

In this paper, the authors analyze the internal situations and external surrounding faced by Chinese coal enterprises, and with sustainable development as a goal, discriminate and abstract four key strategic factors: the quality and controlling capability of the coal resource, the internal management system and structure, the capital operating capability and the integrated development capability. Finally some strategic suggestions and solutions are put forward to control and mobilize these factors.

This paper proposes the position sensorless drive system for PMSM, in which the inverter is controlled by a six- step square-wave operation at high speed in order to increase the torque and power at high speed region and expand the operating range. The speed and position are estimated based on the estimation of an extended electromotive force, and the sensorless control is achieved not only in the current vector control region by the sinusoidal PWM of inverter but also in the voltage phase angle control region by the square-wave operation. The performance of the proposed drive system is evaluated by the experimental results.

The bioceramic coating is fabricated on titanium alloy (Ti6Al4V) by laser cladding the preplaced wollastonite (CaSiO3) powders. The coating on Ti6Al4V is characterized by x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy dispersive spectroscopy, and attenuated total reflection Fourier-transform infrared. The interface bonding strength is measured using the stretching method using an RGD-5-type electronic tensile machine. The microhardness distribution of the cross-section is determined using an indentation test. The in vitro bioactivity of the coating on Ti6Al4V is evaluated using the in vitro simulated body fluid (SBF) immersion test. The microstructure of the laser cladding sample is affected by the process parameters. The coating surface is coarse, accidented, and microporous. The cross-section microstructure of the ceramic layer from the bottom to the top gradually changes from cellular crystal, fine cellular-dendrite structure to underdeveloped dendrite crystal. The coating on Ti6Al4V is composed of CaTiO3, CaO, α-Ca2SiO4, SiO2, and TiO2. After soaking in the SBF solution, the calcium phosphate layer is formed on the coating surface.

The general situation of development of Chinese sounding rockets and the design characteristics ofZN—1 meteorological rocket were introduced in this paper. The developing direction of Chinese next generation sounding rockets and their possible applications in other fields were also discussed. It is shown that the fourth generation sounding rockets of China should develop in the direction of miniaturization , low cost and easy launching, and "ZN" series sounding rockets could be developed as miniature multipurpose rockets in space survey, tactical weapons, high-speed experiments and microgravity experiments.

This work is based on micro-structural performance of the Ti–B4C–C laser alloying coatings on Ti–6Al–4V titanium alloy. The test results indicated that laser alloying of the Ti–B4C–C pre-placed powders on the Ti–6Al–4V alloy substrate can form the ceramics reinforced hard alloying coatings, which increased the micro-hardness and wear resistance of substrate. The test result also indicated that the TiB phase was produced in alloying coating, which corresponded to its (101) crystal plane. In addition, yttria has a refining effect on micro-structures of the laser alloying coating, and its refinement mechanism was analyzed. This research provided essential experimental and theoretical basis to promote the applications of the laser alloying technique in manufacturing and repairing of the aerospace parts.
