Background:Social phobia is anxiety disorders manifested by a significant amount of fear in social situations, associated with distress and impaired ability to function in the daily life. Objective and Methods: The present study aimed at : (1) estimating the prevalence of social anxiety disorder in secondary school students in a geographically defined population, in Baha area using two scales Rewitie scale of social anxiety and severity scale for social anxiety (2) determine risk factor which may be significant . our survey study covered 6 cities , 31 schools and 1316 students .the sample taken was 1030 students .5 of them didn?t complete the study.sotho total number is 1025. Result : the total positive sample was 21.8 % . there is highly statistically significant association between birth order, place of residenceand social anxiety. Conclusion:there is a high percentage of secondary school students diagnosed with social anxiety disorder (using the mentioned scales) indicating the importance of the problem in Baha region for further researches behind the causes .

Background Ketamine has been administered by many routes with different adverse effects according to the selected route of administration and the given doses. Objectives We investigated the effect of three different doses of topical ketamine on hemodynamics and adverse effects. We aimed to find the most effective dose with the least hemodynamic derangements and minimal adverse effects. Study design A prospective, double-blind randomized dose finding study was conducted. Setting The study was done at the Cancer Institute. Patients and methods Patients scheduled for modified radical mastectomy were enrolled into three groups (n=30) to receive ketamine hydrochloride topical instillation. The study drug was diluted by 20-ml normal saline (0.9%) and instilled before wound closure by anesthesia assistant as follows: groups A, B, and C: in which patients received 1 mg, 2 mg, and 3 mg/kg ketamine, respectively. Hemodynamic assessments included the mean arterial blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate recorded at baseline and 2, 4, 6, 12, 24, 36, and 48 h postoperatively. Results Intergroup comparison showed that the three doses of ketamine instillation (1, 2, and 3 mg/kg), showed no difference in the mean arterial blood pressure, either in the heart rate or respiratory rate at any time point during the study (P>0.05). Five patients versus 2 and 4 experienced postoperative nausea and two patients versus 6 and 6 vomited in groups A, B, and C, respectively. Limitations Small sample size was a limitation. Conclusion Topical instillation of ketamine in patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy is a safe technique. The three doses investigated were comparable regarding the hemodynamics with no significant adverse effects.

The purpose of this study is to quantify the quality of the Arabized open source software with respect to its original version in the Arability framework, which aims to control the quality of Arabic and Arabized software. As a case study, the Arability degree of usability for the open source Php My Bibli integrated library system (OS PMB ILS) is computed based on responses collected via a questionnaire from Arab librarians who either use the original French PMB or test the underdeveloped Arabized version. The usability of the original and Arabized PMB is quantified using the ISO quality model and fuzzy multi criteria technique. Then the Arability degree of usability for Arabized PMB is computed. The results show that the quality of the Arabized PMB does not match that of the original and it requires some improvement. Therefore, this paper offers an approach to quantifying Arability degree of usability for Arabized open source software.

In this thesis we deal with linear operators between sequence spaces. We are led to studying matrix transformations and solving linear systems of infinitely many equations in infinitely many unknowns. We give some applications to solving differential systems involving special matrices. Then we are interested in solving sequence space equations (SSE), which are identities in which each term is a sum or product of sets of sequences of the form s_a and s_{\phi(x)} where \phi is a map from U^+ into itself and x is the unknown sequence. Solving such equations is equivalent to determining the set of all sequences x which satisfy the equation. Then, we study the spectrum of the operator of the first difference \Delta in the new sequences spaces s_a, s_a^0, s_a^{(c)} and l_p (a) where 1\leq p < \infty. Finally we consider direct applications of the theory of infinite matrices in optimization problems where we present some results given by B. of Malafosse and A. Yassine to determine the number of ways having N arcs and connecting any two points in the plane with an infinite Boolean Toeplitz matrix.; Dans cette thèse on s'intéresse aux matrices infinies considérées comme des opérateurs linéaires dans des espaces de suites. On est ainsi conduit à l'étude des matrices de transformations et à la résolution de systèmes linéaires infinis ayant une infinité dénombrable d'équations et une infinité dénombrable d'inconnues. On donne des applications à la résolution de systèmes différentiels infinis où interviennent des matrices infinies remarquables. Ensuite, on s'intéresse à la résolution d'équations d'espaces de suites (EES) qui sont déterminées par une identité dont chaque terme est une somme ou un produit d'espaces de suites de type s_a et s _{\phi(x)} où \phi est une application de U^+ dans lui même et x est la suite inconnue. La résolution de telles équations consiste à déterminer l'ensemble de toutes les suites x qui satisfont l'équation. Puis, on étudie le spectre de l'opérateur de différence d'ordre un \Delta dans de nouveaux espaces de suites et on considère enfin des applications directes de la théorie des matrices infinies à des problèmes d'optimisation où on présente des résultats donnés par B. de Malafosse et A. Yassine pour déterminer le nombre de chemins comportant N arcs et reliant deux points quelconques dans le plan à l'aide d'une matrice booléenne infinie de Toeplitz.

This chapter describes the occurrence of saltwater/freshwater interface in coastal aquifers. It has a brief description of the physics, hydraulics, and mathematics behind the theory of saltwater intrusion and the saltwater/freshwater interface. It also includes a section on numerical modeling techniques and the available computer models for saltwater-intrusion problems in coastal aquifers. Anthropogenic effects on saltwater intrusion such as changes in land use and landscape vegetation cover, groundwater pumping patterns, and the amount of pumping are also discussed. Finally, remedies, control and management of saltwater intrusion such as implementation of recharge wells, creation of artificial recharge basins, and construction of barriers are discussed. This chapter is expected to be useful to agricultural communities of coastal plains whose irrigation water is solely dependent on groundwater resources. It may also be of interest to individuals working in coastal-watershed and land-management businesses and governmental or local decision makers by addressing the problem of saltwater intrusion into coastal aquifers and its possible remediation and control techniques.

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, (C(5)H(5)BrN)(2)[SnBr(6)], contains one cation and one half-anion. The [SnBr(6)](2-) anion is located on an inversion center and forms a quasi-regular octa-hedral arrangement. The crystal structure consists of two-dimensional supra-molecular layers assembled via hydrogen-bonding inter-actions of N-H⋯Br-Sn [D⋯A = 3.375 (13)-3.562 (13) Å and D-H⋯A = 127-142°, along with C-Br⋯Br synthons [3.667 (2) and 3.778 (3) Å]. These layers are parallel to the bc plane and built up from anions inter-acting extensively with the six surrounding cations.
