Diese Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit der Weiterentwicklung des an der ETH Zürich entwickelten Airborne Ice Radar Systems (AIR-ETH), einem Messsystem zur genauen Bestimmung der Gletschermächtigkeit. Das AIR-ETH liefert georeferenzierte Daten als Helikopter-gestütztes Bodenradarsystem. Diese Bachelorarbeit baut auf der Arbeit von Lardon (2022) auf. Insbesondere wird die Implementierung des auf Sensorfusion basierenden Georeferenzierungssystems unter Verwendung eines Extended-Kalman-Filters behandelt. Zwei von Lardon identifizierte, kritische Herausforderungen werden in dieser Arbeit behandelt. Erstens wurde ein Problem mit Ausreissern bei bestimmten Richtungsänderungen untersucht, das bisher zu wiederholten Konvergenzzeiten für die Navigationslösung geführt hat. Zweitens wurde die ausschliessliche Verwendung von Epochen mit vier Antennen überarbeitet, da theoretisch nur drei Beobachtungen für die Bestimmung der Lage und Position notwendig sind. Ausserdem wurde ein neuer, von VAW entwickelter, gewichtsoptimierter GFK-Rahmen experimentell validiert. Durch eine Modifikation der Behandlung von Richtungsänderungen in der Innovationsmatrix des Kalman-Filters konnte das Konvergenzzeitproblem erfolgreich gelöst werden, was zu einer verbesserten Navigationslösung insbesondere in bestimmten Flugrichtungen (Nord/Süd) führt. Durch die Berechnung der Position mit nur drei gleichzeitigen GNSS-Beobachtungen konnte die Anzahl der verfügbaren Epochen erhöht und damit die Verfügbarkeit des Systems verbessert werden. Auch die Benutzerfreundlichkeit der Software wurde durch die Einführung eines Kontrollfensters und die Erstellung einer umfassenden Dokumentation verbessert. Zusammenfassend stellt diese Arbeit einen wichtigen Schritt zur Optimierung der Leistungsfähigkeit von AIR-ETH dar und bereitet den Weg für effektivere und genauere Gletscherdickenmessungen.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi gambaran konsekuensi antara pemikiran utilitarianisme dengan konsep persatuan Indonesia yang tertuang dalam sila kelima pancasila. Perumusan konsepsi ini menjadi sebuah upaya dalam mengatasi persoalan kekerasan dalam masyarakat yang mengalami peningkatan setiap tahun. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan pandangan lain untuk mengatasi persoalan kekerasan dalam masyarakat dimulai dari akar persoalan dan akhirnya menemukan formulasi untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan penggalian data menggunakan penelusuran literasi. Data yang ditemukan kemudian dilakukan klasifikasi dan dirumuskan kembali menjadi sintesis untuk menjawab persoalan dalam penelitian. analisis data dan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan komparasi dan semiotika. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya sebuah konsekuensi dalam pemahaman utilitarianisme dalam menentukan kebahagiaan bersama sehingga mewujudkan suatu persatuan yang damai dan jauh dari konflik. Persoalan kekerasan masyarakat dapat diatasi dengan konsep persatuan yang sudah menjadi nilai pokok dalam kehidupan masyarakat itu sendiri.

Gambar Teknik adalah alat komunikasi secara visual yang digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi dari hasil rancangan suatu produk secara komunikatif, normatif, akurat (presisi), terukur (memiliki skala), dan efektif. Seiring perkembangan teknologi, perancangan gambarpun ikut mengalami kemajuan dalam penggunaannya. Kini, merancang gambar dapat menggunakan sistem yang disebut dengan CAD atau Computer Aided Design. Makalah ini membahas perakitan dan perancangan perakitan serta implementasi dari penggunaan sistem tersebut. Beberapa diantaranya adalah perancangan kruk di solidworks dan pada penelitian lain diusulkan metode implementasi dari gambar teknik.

Quantum key distribution (QKD) is nowadays a well-established method for generating secret keys at a distance in an information-theoretically secure way, as the secrecy of QKD relies on the laws of quantum physics and not on computational complexity. In order to industrialize QKD, low-cost, mass-manufactured, and practical QKD setups are required. Hence, photonic and electronic integration of the sender’s and receiver’s respective components is currently in the spotlight. Here we present a high-speed (2.5 GHz) integrated QKD setup featuring a transmitter chip in silicon photonics allowing for high-speed modulation and accurate state preparation, as well as a polarization-independent low-loss receiver chip in aluminum borosilicate glass fabricated by the femtosecond laser micromachining technique. Our system achieves raw bit error rates, quantum bit error rates, and secret key rates equivalent to a much more complex state-of-the-art setup based on discrete components [ Boaron A. et al. , Phys. Rev. Lett. 121, 190502 (2018)].

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan Self Regulated Learning yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas X SMK Plus Sabilur Rosyad. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada siswa, yang didalamnya berisi tiga aspek SLR. Perhitungan data menggunakan pendekatan statistic deskriptif. Dari hasil analisis deiperoleh kemampuan SLR siswa yang mencakup tiga aspek masuk dalam kategori sedang. Persentase terbesar adalah aspek motivasi 74,9%, kemudian metakognisi 70,6% dan aspek perilaku 59,3%. Hasil ini menunjukkan sangat diperlukannya peran guru dalam menggunakan strategi yang tepat dalam pembelajaran untuk dapat meningkatkan kemampuan SLR siswa, mengingat kemampuan SLR ini sangat dibutuhkan oleh siswa dalam keberhasilan mereka.&nbsp

Artificial metalloenzymes result from anchoring an organometallic catalyst within an evolvable protein scaffold. Thanks to its dimer of dimers quaternary structure, streptavidin allows the precise positioning of two metal cofactors to activate a single substrate, thus expanding the reaction scope accessible to artificial metalloenzymes. To validate this concept, we report herein on our efforts to engineer and evolve an artificial hydroaminase based on dual gold activation of alkynes. Guided by modelling, we designed a chimeric streptavidin equipped with a hydrophobic lid shielding its active site, which enforces the advantageous positioning of two synergistic biotinylated gold cofactors. Three rounds of directed evolution using Escherichia coli cell-free extracts led to the identification of mutants favouring either the anti-Markovnikov product (an indole carboxamide with 96% regioselectivity, 51 turnover numbers), resulting from a dual gold σ,π-activation of an ethynylphenylurea substrate, or the Markovnikov product (a phenyl-dihydroquinazolinone with 99% regioselectivity, 333 turnover numbers), resulting from the π-activation of the alkyne by gold. Dual catalysis is widely employed by natural metalloenzymes to functionalize challenging substrates. Now, this concept is applied to artificial metalloenzymes by designing a hydroaminase with two biotinylated gold cofactors enabling an unnatural σ,π-activation mechanism of terminal alkynes.

This study aims to examine the economic empowerment model applied by the Minangkabau community, which is known as a society that holds firmly to values, traditions, culture and religion, besides that Minangkabau people have long been known as Minang merchants who adhere to a communal economic system. The cooperative economic system implemented by the Minangkabau community is able to maintain the economic stability of the Minangkabau community, it is necessary to conduct a study to see the model of economic empowerment of the Minangkabau community. The research method used is library research by collecting data through reference books, published scientific journals and other literature to see the applied economic empowerment model. The data collection method is carried out by collecting study materials, reading, making research notes and reviewing study materials related to the research focus. The findings of this study are that the Minangkabau community's economy is stable and able to withstand economic shocks by applying several models of economic empowerment, namely mutual cooperation, cooperation, wandering and trading.Keywords: Empowerment, Minangkabau, Economic Aspect

Puppet show is still an entertainment that is full of values and meaning in some Javanese people. The existence of puppets on the Java’s island is caused by the spread of puppets in Java when the Sunan Kalijaga era spread Islam. Puppet shows save the values and rules of life inherent in the conditions of society. Values of life are conveyed by portraying puppet plays and slipping a few jokes as entertainment in the show. This research is a library research and supported by direct observation watching puppet shows. The author analyzes the aesthetic dimenasi contained in a puppet show. The results of this study are some of the aesthetic values contained in the puppet play Lahire Gatotkaca. The aesthetics contained in the puppet show are the value of the text beauty, the value of the show beauty and the norms that are conveyed in a relaxed and light manner.

The concept of community development is a necessity in the field of special education. Special education is a challenge in itself for implementers of social welfare programs. This study aims to propose a community development model in providing education for people with Down syndrome so that the entire community can enjoy educational development programs. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative to reveal facts and contribute thoughts in community development in the field of education. Data mining was carried out with a literacy approach and policy considerations derived by the government in order to obtain a critical analysis and recommendations for the concept of education for people with Down syndrome. The results of this study indicate several recommendations that can be applied to implement community development programs in the field of education and applications in the form of inclusive schools in order to create an equitable and equitable education scheme.

International audience; We study a class of receiver-device-independent quantum key distribution protocols based on a prepare-and-measure setup which aims to simplify their implementation. The security of the presented protocols relies on the assumption that the sender, Alice, prepares states that have limited inner-products. Hence, Alice’s device is partially characterized. There is no explicit bound on the Hilbert space dimension required. The receiver’s, Bob’s, device demands no characterization and can be represented as a black-box. The protocols are therefore immune to attacks on Bob’s device, such as blinding attacks. The users can generate a secret key while monitoring the correct functioning of their devices through observed statistics. We report a proof-of-principle demonstration, involving mostly off-the-shelf equipment, as well as a high-efficiency superconducting nanowire detector. A positive key rate is demonstrated over a 4.8 km low-loss optical fiber with finite-key analysis.

Cloning has become a hot topic since technology activists in the field of genetics explained the results of their research that the reproductive process can occur with the help of technology. People have taken advantage of the results of this technology, although the debate about its use in humans is still not a comprehensive concept. This study aims to assess the extent to which the human cloning program is viewed from natural law, considering that cloning is an activity to bring back humans who have died. The method used in this research is literature review with a holistic analysis of the natural law view of human cloning. The results of this research indicate that the human cloning program is returned to the beneficiaries of this program and is fully responsible for the decisions taken

This study aims to explore the role of the community in protecting land. Land in the Tengger community has been the spotlight since an increase in tourist visits to the Bromo area, which has raised many questions and curiosity about the land preservation model. In collecting data and analysis, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach. It was further carried out in-depth interviews with several key informants to answer the research question. The research results show that the productive soil conditions make the Tengger community closely prevent the land from living sustainably. Land conditions supported by the community in understanding traditional values as a legacy from their ancestors discouraged people from selling because this is a prohibition unviolated. The Ngadisari’s Village Government has made an effort to protect the land in response to the challenges of buying and selling land by issuing customary regulations with recognition. The traditional rules regarding the prohibition of the land of sale become legal rules and have legal force.

Setiap kedatangan tokoh dalam kehidupan masyarakat akan memberikan sebuah perubahan, baik secara cepat maupun dengan skala bertahap dan lebih lama. Kondisi sosial masyarakat yang menerima perubahan akan memunculkan warna tersendiri dalam masyarakat, terutama yang akan membawa arah sebuah perubahan dari tatanan sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali sebuah perubahan yang terjadi pasca kedatangan kyai ke pedesaan. Masyarakat yang dijadikan pokok pembahasan adalah masyarakat Muslim pedesaan dengan asumsi setiap kyai yang datang ke masyarakat akan meninggalkan kesan dan sesuai dengan tujuan dakwah. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif terhadap kedatangan kyai ke pedesaan dan menghasilkan suatu perubahan sosial. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah statemen bahwa pasca kedatangan kyai di masyarakat Muslim pedesaan menimbulkan adanya perubahan sosial yang memicu terdapat beberapa pergeseran dalam tata cara beribadah, bukan nilai dan dogma agama.

In the previous decades quantum technologies have made a leap forward leaving the laboratories and entering the market, above all the technologies of quantum random number generators and quantum key distribution (QKD). This thesis focuses on the performance of high-speed QKD, showing what can be achieved with systems comprising of mainly commercially available components. During this work, I investigated three different aspects of such implementations. First, I worked on the implementation of a polarization-based 3-state BB84 protocol at a qubit repetition rate of 5 GHz, with the focus on potential security threads due to correlations in its state preparation. I characterized these imperfections and performed secret key exchanges over 151.5 km, achieving a secret key rate of 54.5 kbps. Secondly, I investigated the network integration of a high-speed QKD system. I worked on the implementation of a time-bin protocol developed in our group at a qubit repetition rate of 2.5 GHz. This system with quantum channel wavelength of 1310 nm was integrated in a network environment and I studied its performance. It has been found that it can exchange secret keys over a distance of 95.5 km in the presence of co-propagating classical channels with a total launch power of 8.9 dBm. I also studied previous network integration experiments and described which QKD system is suited best for a certain network environment. Thirdly, I worked on maximizing the secret key rate of the above mentioned time-bin protocol, this time at a wavelength of 1551 nm. I optimized the detection electronics, which was then used with a 14-pixel superconducting nanowire single-photon detector designed within the research group. I focused on the fabrication of constant-fraction discriminators to improve the timing jitter of the detector pulse readout.The improved detection electronics enabled us to use the 14-pixel detector at full potential. I performed a secret key exchange with this system where a quantum bit error rate of 0.4% was achieved at a sifted key rate of 159.4 Mbps over 10 km of ultra-low-loss single-mode fiber, leading to a secret key rate of 63.6 Mbps., Au cours des dernières décennies, les technologies quantiques on fait un véritable bond en avant et sont passées des laboratoires au marché, en particulier les technologies des générateurs de nombre aléatoires quantiques ainsi que la distribution de clé quantique (QKD). Cette thèse se concentre sur la performance de la QKD à haute vitesse, montrant ce qu’il est possible d’atteindre avec des systèmes contenant essentiellement des composants commerciaux. Lors de ce travail, j’ai examiné trois différents aspects de ces réalisations. Premièrement, j’ai travaillé sur l’implémentation d’un protocole BB84 en polarisation à trois états avec un taux de répétition de 5 GHz. Une attention particulière a été portée sur les potentielles menaces de sécurité en raison de corrélations dans la préparation des états. J’ai caractérisé ces imperfections et ai réalisé un échange de clés secrètes sur un distance de 151.5 km avec un taux de clé secrète de 54.5 kbps. Deuxièmement, j’ai examiné l’intégration des systèmes QKD dans les réseaux de fibre optique. J’ai travaillé sur l’implémentation d’un protocole basé sur un encodage en time-bin développé dans notre groupe ayant un taux de répétition de 2.5 GHz. Ce système, dont la longueur d’onde du canal quantique est de 1310 nm, a été intégré dans un réseau afin d’étudier sa performance. Il a été possible d’échanger des clés secrètes sur un distance de 95.5 km en présence d’un canal classique se co-propageant avec une puissance d’émission de 8.9 dBm. J’ai aussi étudié de précédentes expériences sur l’intégration de systèmes QKD dans des réseaux et ai décrit quels systèmes sont les plus adaptés pour différents environnements. Troisièmement, j’ai travaillé sur la maximisation du taux de clé secrète du protocole time-bin mentionné ci-dessus, cette fois à une longueur d’onde de 1551 nm. J’ai optimisé l’électronique de lecture d’un détecteur de photon unique à nanofils supraconducteurs constitué de 14 pixels qui a été conçu dans notre groupe. Je me suis concentré sur la fabrication de discriminateurs à fraction constante afin d’améliorer le jitter temporel de la lecture des détecteurs. Ceci nous permet d’exploiter pleinement le potentiel du détecteur à haut taux de comptage. J’ai réalisé un échange de clé secrète avec ce système avec un taux d’erreur de 0.4% à un taux de clé tamisée de 159.4 Mbps sur 10 km de fibre optique à perte ultra faible, conduisant à un taux de clé secrète de 63.6 Mbps.

Nanotechnologies are expected to hold considerable potential for the development of new materials in the construction sector. Up to now the environmental benefits and risks of products containing manufactured nanomaterials (MNM) have been quantified only to a limited extent. This study aims to assess the potential environmental, health and safety impacts of coatings containing MNM using Life-cycle assessment: Do paints containing MNM result in a better environmental performance than paints not containing MNM? The study shows that the results depend on a number of factors: (i) The MNM have to substitute an (active) ingredient of the initial paint composition and not simply be an additional ingredient. (ii) The new composition has to extend the lifetime of the paint for such a time period that the consumption of paint along the life cycle of a building is reduced. (iii) Releases of MNM have to be reduced to the lowest level possible (in particular by dumping unused paint together with the packaging). Only when all these boundary conditions are fulfilled, which is the case only for one of the three paint systems examined, is an improved environmental performance of the MNM-containing paint possible for the paint compositions examined in this study.

Previously, well monitoring in Siak block relied on production crew scheduled tour that needed six hours to complete one cycle of all wells in Lindai field. This paper describes the utilization of digital technology to observe well parameters while sending notification if there is any anomaly regarding those parameters through smart phone application or website. Smart microcontroller was installed in wellhead panel and three sensors are mounted in desired point around wellhead to perform online Intelligent Well Monitoring (IWM) for well’s parameters. If abnormality occurs, real time notification would be sent to user’s smart phone application or website by using global mobile communication system (GSM) signal. The parameters monitored were pressure, temperature, and load because they are essential to be analyzed as initial diagnosis of well problem. Based on the readings, production team could quickly perform troubleshooting to prevent loss production opportunity (LPO). The programming of this smart microcontroller used C language as data compiler. This method was tested in one of the wells in Lindai field, which has the highest oil production. After three months of surveillance, in terms of data quality, the values shown by this tool had only five percent differences compared to manual survey using calibrated measurement tools. Additionally, the parameters could be monitored online, real time, and gave the notification directly to users should there be any issues. Moreover, this tool could reduce the response time of the field crew significantly from six hours following the conventional field tour to only in five minutes by relying on real time notification. In addition, the operational cost of this tool was 82% cheaper compared to other well-known online monitoring tool available in the market so it is considered economical. In the long term, this tool will be implemented on all wells in Siak block for integrated real time monitoring. Furthermore, the impact of field scale implementation will be much greater such as increasing data accuracy by eliminating human error from manual well checking and improving safety of the crew by reducing the possibility of fatigue. The utilization of smart microcontroller for online well monitoring is beneficial for marginal field with high number of wells and wide field coverage. Earlier, real time well monitoring is usually considered expensive investment that rarely become priority. However, the implementation of IoT (Internet of Things) by using this tool can be the game changer in marginal field and maximize the well’s production by reducing LPO.
