Abstract Goitered gazelles, Gazella subgutturosa, exist in arid and semiarid regions of Asia from the Middle to the Far East. Although large populations were present over a vast area until recently, a decline of the population as a result of hunting, poaching, and habitat loss led to the IUCN classification of G. subgutturosa as “vulnerable." We examined genetic diversity, structure, and phylogeny of G. subgutturosa using mitochondrial cytochrome b sequences from 18 geographically distant populations in Iran. The median‐joining network of cyt b haplotypes indicated that three clades of goitered gazelles can be distinguished: a Middle Eastern clade west of the Zagros Mountains (and connected to populations in Turkey and Iraq), a Central Iranian clade (with connection to Azerbaijan), and an Asiatic clade in northeastern Iran (with connection to Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and other Asian countries as far as northeastern China and Mongolia). Based on our results, we argue that Iran is the center of diversification of goitered gazelles, due to the presence of large mountain ranges and deserts that lead to the separation of populations. In accordance with previous morphological studies, we identified the Asiatic clade as the subspecies G. s. yarkandensis, and the other two clades as the nominate form G. s. subgutturosa. The new genetic information for goitered gazelles in Iran provides the basis for future national conservation programs of this species.

Aim and Background: Different models of family psychological education, including the Moos and Tsu model, can have a significant effect on families with Slow-learner children. In this study, the effectiveness of family rehabilitation program in promoting psychological well-being of mothers with Slow- learner children has been investigated. Methods and Materials: This study was a quasi-educational study with pretest and posttest and control group. The sample of the present study included 30 mothers with Slow- learner children, 15 of whom were in the experimental group and the other 15 in the control group. The family rehabilitation program was performed according to the Moos and Tsu model in 8 sessions of one to one and a half hours for the experimental group. All participants completed a short form of the Reef Psychological Well-Being Questionnaire and the results were analyzed through multivariate analysis of covariance. Findings: The analysis of the results showed that the rehabilitation program with the Moos and Tsu model has improved psychological well-being and its components in the mothers of the experimental group. This effect of family empowerment according to the Moos and Tsu model can be seen on the subscales of improving self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, mastery of the environment, purposeful living and personal growth. Conclusions: Findings showed that the rehabilitation program with the Moos and Tsu model with emphasis on cognitive-behavioral approach can be effective to improve the psychological well-being of mothers with Slow- learner children. Therefore, therapists can help these mothers in their well-being by using this model and its effectiveness.

Studies related to Islamic psychology have been expanding in recent decades in Iran, and various studies have been carried out under this title. Despite the importance of the nature of Islamic psychology, unfortunately, studies have not systematically addressed the nature of Islamic psychology, and the lack of discussion about this issue is clear evident. In the present article, the researcher has attempted to explain various views on the nature of Islamic psychology by examining studies related to Islamic psychology. The method of this research is descriptive-analytical and the method of data collection is library and interview with experts in this field. In this paper, the researcher has attempted to examine the views of these two areas by examining the nature of Islamic psychology by distinguishing between the Islamic and the scientific aspects of studies related to Islamic psychology. The findings of this study, evaluating the views of Islamic psychology scholars on the nature of Islamic psychology, are divided into two parts, which is an essential step in the path of theoretical and practical research in Islamic psychology.

The aim of this work is to apply the dynamical system approach to study the linear dynamics of the normal DGP brane-world model with agegraphic dark energy. The stability analysis of the model will be investigated and the phase plane portrait will be illustrated. The nature of critical points will be analyzed by evaluating the eigenvalues of a linearized Jacobi matrix. Also, the statefinder diagnostic procedure will be applied to show the slight deviation of our model from the ACDM model. The article discusses the current overdose crisis, which is a significant public health challenge in the field of mental health and substance use disorder care. The increase in mortality is primarily due to changing drug markets and patterns of substance use, as well as an ill-prepared system of care. Fentanyl has become the dominant drug of choice among many people who use drugs, and the rise in overdose deaths in North America has been dramatic. The article explores the concept of "safe supply," which involves providing high-potent psychotropic substances outside of a therapeutic context to reduce overdose risk. However, there is a lack of large-scale effectiveness studies on safe supply, and caution is expressed by experts regarding the potential risks and lack of evidence for its benefits. The article emphasizes the importance of integrating pharmacotherapy and psychosocial care, as well as learning from successful approaches in other countries such as Portugal and Switzerland. It also highlights the lessons that can be learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based approaches in addressing public health crises. Overall, the article calls for a comprehensive and evidence-based strategy to address the overdose crisis, taking into account the complexities and diverse needs of individuals with substance use disorders. Purpose: To evaluate the optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) parameters in patients with diabetic retinopathy following panretinal photocoagulation (PRP). Methods: Eleven eyes of 6 patients with very severe nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy (NPDR) or early proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) were recruited in this prospective interventional pilot study. All patients underwent OCTA imaging at baseline, and choroidal flow, foveal avascular zone (FAZ), retinal thickness, and vascular density were measured at baseline. Three months after treatment, OCTA was repeated, and the alteration in variables was analyzed. Results: The FAZ area remained unchanged following treatment, (P = 0.75). Retinal thickness increased along (P = 0.02) with an increase in vascular density in the superficial and deep foveal area and the macular temporal sector (P = 0.007, 0.03 and 0.049, respectively). Choroidal flow surface area was unchanged (P = 0.10). Conclusion: In this study, foveal vascular density increased and FAZ remained unchanged after PRP for diabetic retinopathy. Cash flow models are one of the spotlights for evaluating a project. The actual data should be modeled then it could be used for the prediction process. In this paper, 996 airplane maintenance basis data are used as a database, and 119 similar data are chosen after clustering. The project is divided into 20 equal periods and first three periods are used for simulating the next point. The predicted data for each point is achieved by using of previous points from the beginning. The model is based on artificial neural network, and it is trained by three algorithms which are Genet-ic Algorithm (GA), Estimation of Distribution Algorithm (EDA), and hybrid GA-EDA method. Two dynamic ratios are used which are dividing the population into two halves, and the other is a ratio without dividing. The ratio would give a proportion to GA and EDA models in the hybrid algorithm, and then the hybrid algorithm could model the system more accurately. For each algorithm, three main errors are calculated which are mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), mean square error (MSE), and root means square error (RMSE). The best result is achieved for hybrid GA-EDA model without dividing the population and the MAPE, RMSE, and MSE values are %0.022, 28944.59 Dollars, and 837789503.79 Dollars, respectively.

PurposeTo investigate the differences in the choroidal biomarkers between two forms of flat irregular pigment epithelial detachment (FIPED): avascular (aFIPED) and vascularized (vFIPED) in eyes with chronic central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC).Materials and methodsEnhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT) was done in eyes with FIPED correlated to chronic CSC, fellow eyes, and also in healthy eyes from gender- and age-matched subjects. Eyes with FIPED were classified into two subgroups based on optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) findings: vFIPED and aFIPED. Different choroidal biomarkers such as subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT), total choroidal area (TCA), and choroidal vascular index (CVI) were compared between the groups.ResultsForty-four eyes from 42 patients with chronic CSC and FIPED along with 40 eyes from 20 healthy subjects were included. OCTA identified vascularization in 14 eyes in the FIPED group (31.8%). Mean SFCT was higher in the FIPED group compared to two other groups (p = 0.005). In comparison to patients with aFIPED, patients with vFIPED had lower SFCT (p = 0.003) and higher CVI (p = 0.020) based on multivariate analysis.ConclusionsIt seems that measurement of CVI along with SFCT may help to differentiate aFIPED from vFIPED in patients with CSC. Further longitudinal studies would be required to confirm the clinical significance of these findings.

The main goal of this paper is to introduce the Moon exploration mission design based on existing technology.The Moon exploration mission design entailsoptimal maneuvering orbit, payload and launch vehicle design. Optimal maneuvering orbit is designed with respect to Circular Restricted Three Body Problem (CRTBP) to model the motion of a spacecraft in the Earth/Moon system. To this end, optimal maneuvering orbitadopted CRTBP as dynamical model and obtained three-dimensional Earth to Moon transfers with low cost. This method is more preferable and flexible than Hohmann transfer because of its lower cost and its access to various inclinations in departure and arrival.The optimal Launch Vehicle Conceptual Design (LVCD) algorithm is based on optimization of major design parameters. LVCD algorithm is coded in a software to let the design engineer explore the design space and to reduce the cost and time of the conceptual design phase that is developed by the authors.The optimization process is performed subject to the restrictions and the performance index is optimized in a mutual iteration mechanism. Consequently, the designed launch vehicle ability to satisfy the mission objectives and its requirements is evaluated.

Nemacheilian loaches are a group of freshwater fishes which are distributed in many inland waters of Iran. They are complex species from aspects of systematic and many species of this family are morphologically undistinguishable. Therefore, due to limitations behind the morphology-based identification of such species, genetic approaches such as DNA barcoding can be helpful to distinguish species, although their genetic relationships are not well determined yet. The present investigation provides data on genetic structure of some species of Nemachilidae including Paraschistura bampurensis, Oxynoemacheilus kiabii and Turcinemacheilus saadii from inland waters of Iran. These species were sequenced for a 652 base pair region of the mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene. All species were identified by cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene sequence. The sequences of P. bampurensis showed that specimens collected from two streams (Shapour and Fahlian, south-west of Iran), with 1.89% within-species Kimura two parameter distance, shared haplotype in neighbor joining tree. The results provided the first genetic evidence for O. kiabii, which has recently been recorded as a new species in Iran, and also cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene data showed that O. kiabii is completely different from other species of Nemacheilidae. The results suggested that cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene sequencing can be used to identify species of Nemachilidae from the Iranian streams.

Fariba Ghassemi,1,2 Reza Mirshahi,1,2 Kaveh Fadakar,1,2 Siamak Sabour3 1Retina & Vitreous Service, 2Eye Research Center, Farabi Eye Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, 3Safety Promotion and Injury Prevention Research Centre, Department of Clinical Epidemiology, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran Synopsis: In optical coherence tomography angiography, the choroidal vascular flow rate in choroidal melanoma is significantly lower than that in choroidal nevus.Objective: The objective of this study was to describe the choriocapillaris and retinal features imaged by optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in eyes with choroidal nevus from small malignant choroidal melanoma.Methods: In this retrospective, noninvasive, observational study, 11 patients diagnosed with small choroidal mass (five with choroidal nevus and six with malignant melanoma) who underwent dilated fundus examination, ocular ultrasonography and OCTA images were compared.Results: In choroidal nevus of all patients, OCTA demonstrated a hyporeflective mass with no significant deformity of choroidal vasculature and an intact retinal pigment epithelium (RPE)–Bruch’s membrane complex. The flow void mass was surrounded by an intense vascular rim named as surface microvasculature (SMV) that had an approximately similar flow rate median of 63.68 mm2 (60.42–67.62 mm2), comparable with the median of the contralateral normal eye of 61.77 mm2 (60.42–64.53 mm2; P>0.09) for nevi. OCTA showed an obscured Bruch’s membrane–RPE–Bruch’s membrane complex and outer retinal layer in choroidal melanomas. Choriocapillaris flow rate over the melanomas was 55.73% (41.93%–60.82%), and the corresponding normal areas had a flow area of 62.75% (61.99%–63.10%; P=0.01). A flow rate difference between choroidal melanoma and nevus was significant (P=0.006). Axial and peripheral feeding vessels were more dilated and tortuous compared with benign nevi.Conclusion: Decreased flow rate of SMV of choroidal melanoma cases compared with nevi was a significant finding. Detection of characteristic vascular features of choroidal melanoma by OCTA could make OCTA an assuring diagnostic modality to differentiate malignant lesions.
