The article presents information on Arapawa goat. This breed is small and is valued for its milk, meat and skins. Three pairs of Arapawa goats were imported to the U.S. in 1994 and were brought to Plimouth Plantation to populate. The Department of Conservation in New Zealand has culled the feral goats on Arapawa since the early 1970s to protect the native ecosystem.
