This study explores the personal values reported by Nursing, Physiotherapy and Social Work students and analyzes to what extent they it the predictions made by the theory of intergenerational value change regarding the predominance of post-materialist values in younger generations. The participants stated their values in order of priority in an open-ended questionnaire. The sample was divided into three groups: A Nursing Students Group (NSG), made up of 150 participants; a Physiotherapy Students Group (PSG) represented by 150 participants, and a Social Work Students Group (SWSG) comprised of 150 participants. The results showed differences between the groups in the prioritized value categories and in each group's resultant value profiles. The Physiotherapy and Social Work students' values fitted the theory of value change predictions better, consequently giving post-materialist group profiles whilst the nursing students did not show results in line with the predictions, displaying an obviously materialist profile. The present study has as main goal the exploration of risk behaviors in a sample of 85 university undergraduate students from the Universidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina. All participants responded to a anonymous questionnaire with items related to health habits in food, sleep, exercise, substance use, and beliefs about health status. The results indicated that incoming students differ in their risk profiles from the students of last course. In addition, 42% of the students of last course reports not to have received information about health in university. A high percentage of students report positive beliefs on his/her health status regardless to the report of several risk behaviors. This paper, framed into the analysis of (in) sensibility to contingencies and its implications in the analysis of verbal regulation, pretends to assess the effectiveness of several methods in order to produce breaking or change of the sensibility patterns, as well as to find attainable differential effects of automatic contingencies in two experimental tasks, using an eight university student's sample. The results show that the use of contextual cues, by means of the amplification or changes in the given rules, is the best procedure to break certain levels of insensibility. Agronomic responses to the use of agricultural inputs have been used in agriculture to identify the optimal level of nutrients to be supplied for high yield. This strategy helps to avoid economic losses and excessive application of fertilizers that has caused pollution of aquifers and soil degradation. The aim of the study was to evaluate water use efficiency, agronomic efficiency of nitrogen, heat units and use of evapotranspiration in yield and its components in sunflowers under hot climate conditions in function of nitrogen fertilizer application during two sowing season. The experiment was conducted in the field. The treatments were two sowing seasons and three levels of nitrogen fertilizer application and one control: 0, 60, 80 and 120 kg N ha-1. The nitrogen source was urea. The experimental design was complete random blocks with factorial array and four replications. The occurrence of cv. Cobalto sunflower phenological stages were not modified by the treatments. Urea favored agronomic efficiency and water use efficiency. Yield components were modified positively, with increasing receptacle area, 100-grain weight, and grain yield per receptacle. Application of nitrogen fertilizer favored sunflower development, although environmental conditions are of critical importance as demonstrated by a clear interaction between the yield response to fertilizer application and the environment where the plants grew.

Background: Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is underrecognised in clinical settings., Aims: To investigate whether performing a (123)I-ioflupane injection ((123)I-FP-CIT also called DaTSCAN™) single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scan in patients with possible DLB would lead to a more certain diagnosis (probable DLB or non-DLB dementia)., Method: We randomised 187 patients with possible DLB 2:1 to have a scan or not (control group). The outcome measure was a change in diagnosis to probable DLB or non-DLB., Results: There were 56 controls and 114 scanned patients, of whom 43% had an abnormal scan. More patients in the imaging group had a change in diagnosis compared with controls at 8 and 24 weeks (61% (n = 70) v. 4% (n = 2) and 71% (n = 77) v. 16% (n = 9); both P<0.0001). Clinicians were more likely to change the diagnosis if the scan was abnormal (82%) than if it was normal (46%)., Conclusions: Imaging significantly contributed to a more certain diagnosis, proving to be a useful adjunct in the work-up of patients with possible DLB., (Royal College of Psychiatrists.)
