ObjectiveThis study aimed to investigate and analyze the key factors that influence the nutritional composition of catering food， providing a foundation for the application of nutrition labeling in catering establishments. Additionally， it contributes to the development of environmentally sustainable nutrition and health-oriented canteens and restaurants.MethodsPanel interviews were conducted in Beijing and Zhoushan， representing cities with distinct North-South culinary characteristics. These interviews engaged local nutrition specialists and catering industry professionals. The outcomes of these interviews were thoroughly examined and analyzed.ResultsThe interviewees unanimously identified several key factors affecting the nutritional composition of catering food in China. These factors primarily included the quality of raw ingredients， food preparation methods， cooking techniques， and cooking conditions.ConclusionUnderstanding the influential factors that shape the nutritional composition of catering food is crucial for conducting targeted research and enhancing the overall nutritional quality of dishes served in the catering industry. These efforts contribute to elevating the dietary standards and health status of the population， aligning with national nutrition and health improvement goals， and fostering a healthier China.

ObjectiveThis study aimed to provide evidence for the consumption of vegetable oil to promote a healthy lifestyle. The consumption status of different types of vegetable oil and the influencing factors were investigated through a survey of edible vegetable oil consumption among residents over 3 years old in Beijing， China， in 2020.MethodsUsing the data from the Trans-Fatty Acid Food Consumption Survey of the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment in 2020， 2 289 Beijing permanent residents aged over 3 years old were selected. Dietary data were collected by 3-day 24 h recalls combined with food frequency and weighting methods. Non-parametric tests and χ2 tests were used to analyze the consumption and influence factors of vegetable oil consumption.ResultsThe median vegetable oil consumption for consumers was 32.7 g/d. Overall， 43.3% of the residents’ vegetable oil intake exceeded the recommended edible oil intake standards （25-30 g） according to the Dietary Guidelines for Chinese （2022）， including 24.8， 1.7， and 1.8 g/d for peanut， sunflower， and corn oils， respectively. Non-parametric tests showed that there were no significant influencing factors for the consumption of various vegetable oils among residents based on sex， age， educational level， and monthly household incomes. The consumption rate of peanut oil among residents in Beijing was the highest （68.9%）， followed by that of sunflower seed oil and corn oil （6.1% and 5.7%， respectively）.ConclusionThe average vegetable oil consumption by Beijing residents exceeds the recommended dietary consumption， and there is a high degree of concentration in the type of vegetable oil consumed. Therefore， relevant scientific nutrition guidance should be established to promote a healthy lifestyle.

In this study, the low-level presence of genetically modified (GM) soybean event GTS-40-3-2 was quantitatively detected and the measurement uncertainty was estimated. Within 95% confidence interval, the quantitative method developed using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and digital PCR could stably detect 0.01% GTS-40-3-2 content with acceptable cost and uncomplicated operation, while the digital PCR method could quantify 0.1% GTS-40-3-2 content accurately, and the quantitative error did not exceed 50% even at GTS-40-3-2 content as low as 0.05%. The sources of uncertainty in quantitative digital PCR analysis were analyzed, and the calculation formula for uncertainty was derived from calculation models in analytical chemistry. Furthermore, GTS-40-3-2 was used for laboratory verification. The expanded uncertainty in quantitative analysis of 0.1% and 0.05% GTS-40-3-2 contents was calculated as 23.56% and 107.29% (k = 2), respectively.

In order to study the influence of relevant parameters of the swashplate engine pendulum mechanism on engine dynamic performance, a mathematical model which can express the relationship between its design parameters and engine dynamic performance is established through the derivation of relevant parameters of the swashplate engine pendulum mechanism. Combined with the mathematical model, the influence of the change of the number of cylinders of the pendulum mechanism on the output speed and the displacement of the center of mass of the swashplate are studied using the control variable method, and the Admas simulation analysis is carried out. The results show that when the number of cylinders is selected as the independent variable, the inclination angle of the swashplate decreases gradually from 29.93° to 14.26°, and the average deviation of speed is the smallest when the number of cylinders is 7, which is 0.005 4 r/min; the average displacement of the swashplate centroid on x-axis and y-axis is also the smallest, which are -0.005 9 mm and -0.016 7 mm respectively; the average displacement on the z-axis is 0.038 8 mm, which is not the minimum value, but the offset amplitude is smaller. The results show that when the number of engine cylinders is 7 and the inclined angle of the swashplate is 16.35°, the stability of the spindle speed and the stability of swashplate are the best, which provides some reference for the parameter design of swashplate engines.

The article begins by exploring the emotional design of brands in various categories and proposes a mathematical morphological visual perceptual machine model to implement emotional design. The model constructs a mathematical model capable of capturing and expressing emotional features through numerical sets. Point sets and images, and basic operations in image algebra. Finally, the influence of the applicable fields of brand digital art design, personal emotional needs, and personal experience needs on brand choice is analyzed. The entertainment industry and the Internet industry account for the largest share, each accounting for 30% and 29%, respectively. The influence of personal emotion on choosing a brand is more than 0.8, and the influence of personal experience on choosing a product is more than 0.6. The research results of this paper have certain practical and theoretical significance for the development of brand digital art design.

The development of the fit between constructivist teaching theory and foreign language teaching is explored to improve learners’ language proficiency and comprehensive application skills effectively. This paper discusses a constructivist teaching model in the Internet era, using the fruit fly algorithm to optimize the kernel function of support vector machines and then constructing an FOA-SVM classification analysis model. The FOA-SVM model was used to analyze the fit data of the foreign language culture introduction teaching model based on constructivist teaching theory, including teaching principles and teaching practices. Regarding teaching principles, 55.69% of the students thought that the appropriateness principle was the best for the constructivist teaching theory to fit foreign language teaching. In terms of teaching practice, students’ learning attitude, learning initiative, learning ability, language ability, and application ability increased by 65.55%, 71.94%, 62.23%, 62.22%, and 78.42%, respectively. This shows that the integration and development of constructivist teaching theory and foreign language teaching should be based on the principle of appropriateness, and the use of a foreign language culture introduction mode of teaching is conducive to improving students’ learning attitudes and initiatives.

Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) is a serious coronary heart disease with relatively high mortality, and a history of ACS is associated with subsequent risk of recurrent ischemic events such as ischemic stroke and myocardial infarction. Platelet aggregation and thrombus formation are considered as indispensable factors that lead to ACS. To reduce the residual ischemic risk, it is clinically recommended that patients with ACS receive dual antiplatelet therapy with aspirin combined with a potent P2Y12 inhibitor for 12 months, but this therapy has been proven to be unsatisfactory in controlling the risk. More studies are ongoing to explore intensified antithrombotic therapies to reduce the risk of recurrent ischemic events. In this paper, the mechanisms of actions of and advances in intensified antithrombotic therapies in ACS were reviewed, and it is found that the risk of ischemic events can be further reduced by extended-term dual antiplatelet therapy, triple antiplatelet therapy and dual pathway inhibition therapy (namely antiplatelet therapy combined with anticoagulant therapy) . This review will help to the implementation of clinical individualized antithrombotic therapy and the choice of the best antithrombotic strategy.

The concept, raw materials, technology, texture, sensory, nutrition, market, patent and safety of plant-based meat products were reviewed, and the achievements and shortcomings of the development of plant-based meat products were summarized. It is indicated that the next researching should be done from the protein types of raw materials, protein molecular modification, texturized protein production technology, genetic engineering technology transformation, etc.

Herein, a simple green co-precipitation route for Mn4+-activated fluorides has been realized via individually using the aqueous acidic salt NH4HF2 as a solvent. The systematic explorations of ionization, erosion, solvent concentration, solvency on reactants, and reaction with an extra weak acid disclosed that the near-saturated aqueous NH4HF2, ionizing into abundant HF2−, H+, and F− ions, exhibited large dissolving capacity and good stabilization on Mn4+ without obvious toxicity. The green synthesized example of Cs2GeF6:Mn4+ emitted a typical narrow band red light at 633 nm with normal optimal doping at ∼8 at%. Compared with its contrast prepared from the HF system, it experienced only ∼10% reduction in quantum efficiency and slight emission attenuation below 150 °C as the more humidity-sensitive weaker acid surface aroused lattice thermal vibration. The further action as red component fabricated a high-quality warm white light-emitting diode (W-LED) with a high color rendering index (Ra ∼ 91), high luminous efficacy (∼149 lm W−1), low correlated color temperature (∼3211 K), and good color stability against the operating environment. Combined with the universal synthesis of A2XF6:Mn4+ (A = K, Rb, Cs; X = Si, Ge), our findings can probably open up a simple and feasible green synthetic strategy for efficient Mn4+-doped fluorides using acidic salts. Ferroptosis plays an important role in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). We aim to develop a new ferroptosis-related gene signature predicting the prognosis of ICC. We download RNA expression profiles and clinical data of ICC from TCGA and GEO databases. Ferroptosis-related differentially expressed genes (DEGs) are screened by the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. GO and KEGG enrichment analyses are performed to understand the function of DEGs and co-expressed genes. Univariate Cox and LASSO regression are used to develop a ferroptosis-related gene signature. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and Kaplan-Meier (KM) analysis were used to evaluate the prognostic value. RNA sequencing is performed in 30 patients with ICC in our medical center to validate the prognostic value of the gene signature. We identify 44 ferroptosis-related DEGs, among which four (ACSL4, IREB2, NFE2L2, and TP53) are associated with overall survival (OS). Functional enrichment analysis shows that ferroptosis-associated DEGs have an important impact on ICC carcinogenesis. A new ferroptosis-related gene signature based on DEGs is built, and the prognostic ability is confirmed by KM and ROC curves (AUC=0.777, 0.75, 0.799 for 12, 24, and 36 months, respectively). Patients with high risk scores have worse OS ( P=0.0081). In the validation cohort, the expression of DEGs is in accordance with that in the exploration cohort. The four-gene signature is also demonstrated to have a favorable prognostic value (AUC=0.69). A new predictive model based on four ferroptosis-related genes (ACSL4, IREB2, NFE2L2, and TP53) is established and shows favorable prognostic value.

In influenza vaccine development, Madin–Darby canine kidney (MDCK) cells provide multiple advantages, including large-scale production and egg independence. Several cell-based influenza vaccines have been approved worldwide. We cultured H5N1 virus in a serum-free MDCK cell suspension. The harvested virus was manufactured into vaccines after inactivation and purification. The vaccine effectiveness was assessed in the Wuhan Institute of Biological Products BSL2 facility. The pre- and postvaccination mouse serum titers were determined using the microneutralization and hemagglutination inhibition tests. The immunological responses induced by vaccine were investigated using immunological cell classification, cytokine expression quantification, and immunoglobulin G (IgG) subtype classification. The protective effect of the vaccine in mice was evaluated using challenge test. Antibodies against H5N1 in rats lasted up to 8 months after the first dose. Compared with those of the placebo group, the serum titer of vaccinated mice increased significantly, Th1 and Th2 cells were activated, and CD8+ T cells were activated in two dose groups. Furthermore, the challenge test showed that vaccination reduced the clinical symptoms and virus titer in the lungs of mice after challenge, indicating a superior immunological response. Notably, early after vaccination, considerably increased interferon-inducible protein-10 (IP-10) levels were found, indicating improved vaccine-induced innate immunity. However, IP-10 is an adverse event marker, which is a cause for concern. Overall, in the case of an outbreak, the whole-virion H5N1 vaccine should provide protection.

Background Worldwide, lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) has wreaked havoc on humanity. Matrix metallopeptidase 12 (MMP12) plays an essential role in a variety of cancers. This study aimed to reveal the expression, clinical significance, and potential molecular mechanisms of MMP12 in LUSC. Methods There were 2,738 messenger RNA (mRNA) samples from several multicenter databases used to detect MMP12 expression in LUSC, and 125 tissue samples were validated by immunohistochemistry (IHC) experiments. Receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curves, Kaplan–Meier curves, and univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses were used to assess the clinical value of MMP12 in LUSC. Abstract Background Little is known about the relationship between integrin subunit alpha V (ITGAV) and cancers, including small cell lung cancer (SCLC). Methods Using large sample size from multiple sources, the clinical roles of ITGAV expression in SCLC were explored using differential expression analysis, receiver operating characteristic curves, Kaplan–Meier curves, etc. Results Decreased mRNA (SMD = − 1.05) and increased protein levels of ITGAV were detected in SCLC (n = 865). Transcription factors—ZEB2, IK2F1, and EGR2—may regulate ITGAV expression in SCLC, as they had ChIP-Seq (chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing) peaks upstream of the transcription start site of ITGAV.
