One-step hydrothermal carbonisation method was used to synthesise hydrochar, SRL HC (Saccarum ravannae hydrochar), and SOL HC (Saccarum oficinarum hydrochar), which were employed to remove highly toxic and emerging contaminants drugs, diclofenac, ibuprofen, and naproxen from the synthetic aquatic environment. The presence of hydroxyl and carboxylic acid groups makes these hydrochars an efficient adsorbent. The adsorption experiments were conducted to optimise various parameters such as pH, adsorbent dose, contact time, and temperature. Then maximum adsorption capacity of diclofenac, ibuprofen, and naproxen on SRL HC was found to be 230.04, 201.92, 191.43 mg/g, while the maximum adsorption capacity of SOL HC were 103.40, 77.72, 62.02 mg/g at 303 K. The adsorption of drugs fits well with the pseudo-second-order kinetics model and the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model with a high correlation coefficient (R2 ˃ 0.99). Thermodynamic studies indicated that adsorption was chemisorptive and endothermic. Adsorption in real water samples along with reusability was also performed with these hydrochars. Finta [2], recently proposed a complex version of iteration procedures for holomorphic functions. The general theorem of the complex iteration function has developed by using the complex mean value theorem and discussed several iterative procedures for holomorphic functions. In this paper, we redevelop the general theorem of the complex iteration function by applying the fundamental theorem of the complex line integral. Two neutral benzimidazole-based urea receptors R1 and R2 with varying functional groups led to changes in aggregation as well as chemosensing properties. While R1 displayed aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties by showing the highest emission in water against binary solvent switching, R2, on the other hand, showed typical aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) behaviour. Both R1 and R2, however, could sense SO42−/HSO4− in an aqueous medium although with different binding affinities, the mechanistic details of which are investigated with the help of different spectroscopic, microscopic, and theoretical approaches. A versatile bifunctional fluorene-4 diethyl amino salicylaldehyde conjugate probe, L1, was fabricated for visualization and quantitative analysis of Hg2+ and GSH separately in aqueous media. Probe L1 exclusively showed rapid sensing toward Hg2+ (LOD = ∼17.35 ppb) and GSH (LOD = ∼25.83 ppb) with a significant "turn-on" fluorescence response, along with red-shifted emission maxima at 414 nm and 420 nm. Furthermore, the morphological transformation of the probe into self-assembled heterostructures occurred upon inclusion of Hg2+ or GSH owing to analyte-induced-aggregation emission. The sensing strategy was successfully implemented to recognize Hg2+ and GSH in contaminated natural water-body samples, simulated physiological media, and real biological samples, including human serum specimens. Fresh air and clean water are essential constituents for the human population as well as for fauna and flora. Owing to the extreme toxicity of NACs and VOCs in physiological systems and their widespread presence in the environment, serious mitigation is required. The innovation of chemosensors for these two types of harmful organic contaminants (NACs i. e., nitroaromatics, and VOCs i. e., volatile organic compounds) have unfolded as a key research topic in recent decades, garnering a lot of attention due to their environmental, industrial and biological importance. In recent years, there has been a significant amount of research on both NACs and VOCs chemosensors. This Review article has recapitulated the latest development of fluorescent chemosensors especially small molecular frameworks from 2015 to 2022, for NACs and VOCs which has been discussed individually. In addition, the detection of NACs and VOCs on multiple platforms with a special focus on their mechanistic exploration, as well as their probable applications in natural water body specimens, vapor phase detection, and paper strip analysis have also been discussed. Parks and recreational spaces play a major role in upgrading the living conditions of urban areas. Easily accessible public parks are a crucial aspect of sustainable urban planning. The objective of this study is to assess the level of serviceability of public parks in terms of accessibility, and spatial distribution of neighbourhood and city parks. The data obtained from USGS Earth Explorer and Google Earth software, and was put in ArcGIS 10.2 software for creating land use land cover map of study area. Methods of buffer and network analysis were used for accessibility analysis of public parks category-wise. The catchment area limit is set as 300 m and 800 m for neighbourhood park and city park respectively. The results reveal the clear distinction in the availability of parks across the study area. Moreover, study findings may help concerned authorities and stakeholders to the creation of standards for the delivery of parks and green spaces. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
