Abstract

This study evaluates the accuracy of two alternative models for the kill rate of different visual defects and the yield estimation by using large amount of practical inspection data (140 6-inch wafers containing 70 560 dies) in semiconductor manufacturing. One model assumed that the visual defects are randomly distributed on a wafer die; another model considered that clustering visual defects may occur on a wafer die. The results show that two models are both capable of predicting the yield precisely. The results also suggest that the model assuming clustering visual defects on a die is more accurate based on the analysis of Taguchi's signal-to-noise (SN) ratio. The same practices can be implemented with other types of wafer such as 8 inch and 12 inch. Precise prediction for the kill rate of different types of visual defects and the yield in the long supply of semiconductor industry is critical since the requirement of material and the reserved capacity can be largely reduced. 106. Relationship between leisure involvement and subjective well-being: Moderating effect of spousal support

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between leisure involvement and subjective well-being and clarify the moderating effect of spousal support in this relationship. A total of 254 questionnaires were collected from a sample of players of slow pitch softball. Structural equation modelling was utilised to estimate a model that linked leisure involvement and spousal support to subjective well-being. As expected, the results show that a recreation having greater leisure involvement leads to a high level of subjective well-being. The findings further show that spousal support moderate the effect of leisure involvement on subjective well-being, indicating that greater spousal support is associated with a higher likelihood that leisure involvement will improve subjective well-being.Key words: Leisure involvement; Spousal support; Subjective well-being; Slow pitch softball

Abstract

In order to elucidate pressure-induced second superconducting phase (SC-II) in AxFe2−ySe2 (A = K, Rb, Cs, and Tl) having an intrinsic phase separation, we perform a detailed highpressure magnetotransport study on the isoelectronic, phase-pure (Li1−xFex)OHFe1−ySe single crystals. Here we show that its ambient-pressure superconducting phase (SC-I) with a critical temperature Tc ≈ 40 K is suppressed gradually to below 2 K and an SC-II phase emerges above Pc ≈ 5 GPa with Tc increasing progressively to above 50 K up to 12.5 GPa. Our high-precision resistivity data uncover a sharp transition of the normal state from Fermi liquid for SC-I to non-Fermi liquid for SC-II phase. In addition, the reemergence of high-Tc SC-II is found to accompany with a concurrent enhancement of electron carrier density. Without structural transition below 10 GPa, the observed SC-II with enhanced carrier density should be ascribed to an electronic origin presumably associated with pressure-induced Fermi surface reconstruction. Abstract

SummaryIn animals, defective brown adipogenesis leads to bone loss. Whether brown adipose tissue (BAT) mass relates to bone mineral density (BMD) in humans is unclear. We determined the relationship between BAT mass and BMD by cold-stimulated positron-emission tomography (PET) and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) in healthy volunteers. Higher BAT mass was associated with higher BMD in healthy women, but not in men, independent of age and body composition.IntroductionContrary to the traditional belief that BAT is present only in infants, recent studies revealed significant depots of BAT present in adult humans. In animals, defective brown adipogenesis leads to bone loss. While white adipose tissue mass is a known determinant of BMD in humans, the relationship between BAT and BMD in humans is unclear. We thus examined the relationship between BAT and BMD in healthy adults.MethodsBAT volume (ml) and activity (standard uptake value) were determined by 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET after overnight mild cold exposure at 19 °C, and BMD was determined by DXA.ResultsAmong 24 healthy adults (age 28 ± 1 years, F = 10), BAT volumes were 82.4 ± 99.5 ml in women and 49.7 ± 54.5 ml in men.
