102. Imprese, relazioni e network: il contratto di rete come nuovo strumento aggregativo per le imprese italiane

Abstract

La pratica dei network contracts ha ricevuto una notevole attenzione da parte degli studiosi. In questa tesi viene presa in considerazione una forma caratteristica di network contract, nota come “contratto di rete”, che è stato recentemente introdotto nell’ordinamento italiano. Dopo aver fornito una rassegna dei principali contributi della letteratura IMP con riferimento alle relazioni reticolari in contesti business-to-business, vengono discusse le implicazioni teoriche di differenti strutture della rete sulle perfomance della rete stessa. Viene inoltre sviluppata un’analisi empirica basata su diversi “contratti di rete”. Mostriamo che le reti in cui le imprese producono prodotti differenziati, in cui le imprese sono collocate ad una certa distanza geografica, dove ogni impresa percepisce se stessa come cruciale per la rete stessa, e dove il numero delle imprese è sufficientemente basso, ottengono un risultato mediamente superiore rispetto alle reti aventi caratteristiche opposte. Inoltre mostriamo come le reti in cui il potere è suddiviso in modo equo tra le imprese partecipanti (reti simmetriche) ottengono una performance migliore rispetto alle reti in cui alcune imprese hanno un ruolo dominante (reti asimmetriche)., Network contract is a business practice which has received a lot of attention by scholars. In this thesis we consider a peculiar form of network contract named “contratto di rete”, which has been recently introduced by the Italian legislator. After providing a selective survey of the main contributions from the IMP tradition regarding network relationships in business-to-business contexts, we discuss the theoretical implications of different network structures on the performance of the networks. We also develop an empirical analysis based on several “contratti di rete”. We show that the networks where the firms produce different goods, where the firms are not located close to each other, where each firm perceives itself as crucial for the network, and where the number of firms is low enough, get a better outcome than the networks showing the opposite characteristics. Furthermore, we show that the networks where the power is shared equally among the firms (symmetric networks) perform better than the networks where some firms play a dominant role (asymmetric networks).

Abstract

Magnetic tape is an important medium in the capturing of information and has had widespread use in audio, video, and computer applications over the past 60 years. As years go by, the preservation of the information stored on tape is becoming of increasing concern to society, particularly as the carriers suffer from physical decay and they threaten the survival of recordings holding a great cultural and commercial value. This article presents the methodology and the results of a chemical test aimed to determine the state of degradation of magnetic tapes. The test can reveal the state of degradation of the polymeric chains composing the tape layers, which are subject to an irreversible process of degradation over time. This study contributes to the long-term goal of building a structured knowledge base about diagnostic tools and recovery methods for magnetic tapes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

A reactor with two interchangeable plasma sources was developed and tested in water decontamination experiments using phenol as model organic pollutant. The two configurations were characterized and compared by determining the reactive species produced in the aqueous phase (concentration of ozone and of hydrogen peroxide as a function of input energy and rate of OH radical production) and the efficiency in phenol degradation. The streamer discharge performed significantly better than the dielectric barrier discharge: the rate of OH radicals production was ten times faster and the efficiency of phenol degradation, as measured by the G 50 parameter, was more than twice as large. Moreover, the streamer discharge induced process was kinetically faster and achieved better mineralization yields in shorter times. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

ABSTRACTPlasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is a relatively new surface treatment that permits to increase the corrosion and wear resistance of metals. One of the peculiarities of the process is the possibility to incorporate into the produced coating the particles suspended in the electrolyte. In this work, micrometric silver particles were added in the PEO coating to innovatively give a fungicidal effect to the samples due to the presence of silver, whose fungicidal effect is well known. PEO coatings were produced on aluminium alloy 7075 using an electrolyte containing sodium silicate and silver particles. The thickness, morphology, composition and corrosion resistance of the obtained coatings were studied. The fungicidal properties were evaluated with contact tests of 2 and 4 h using Candida albicansATCC 10231. Silver particles were homogeneously distributed in the coating and the silver-containing samples were characterised by improved corrosion resistance and high fungicidal activity.

Abstract

The reactivity of the cyclic primary aliphatic amines cyclopropyl-, cyclopentyl- and cyclohexylamine with cis- and trans-[PtCl2(NCMe)2], under the same experimental conditions, is compared. Whereas cis-[PtCl2(NCMe)2] yields the neutral diamidine compounds, the reactions with trans-[PtCl2(NCMe)2] take place either with addition or substitution processes yielding the neutral diamidine complexes trans-[PtCl2(Amidine)2], the monocationic trans-[PtCl(Amine)(Amidine)2]Cl and the dicationic trans-[Pt(Amine)2(Amidine)2]Cl2 salts. An NMR and ESI study indicate that the main species formed is the monocationic trans-[PtCl(Amine)(Amidine)2]Cl complex. The X-ray structure of trans-[PtCl2{N(H)=C(CH3)NHCHCH2CH2}2] is reported and its supramolecular arrangement is described.
