The article presents a study which examines the supervision training experiences of doctoral students in counselor education. The study which utilizes critical incident technique (CIT) to determine the experience and its implications to doctoral students in counselor education. Results show that the use of themes such as parallel process, support, and gatekeeping in supervision training contribute to the development, preparation and confidence growth in taking the supervisor role.

Family issues may be evident in adolescents with behavioral and emotional issues admitted to crisis residence. In this study, 120 adolescents admitted to crisis residence were evaluated using the Target Symptom Rating scale and the Goal Attainment Scale of Stabilization. Behavioral and emotional issues specific to adolescents’ capabilities toward achieving relevant therapeutic goals while in the crisis residence setting are identified and implications to family counseling and interventions are noted. Background: This study explored the nature of client gender relative to counseling adolescents in acute care psychiatric programs. Aims: A goal attainment model, emphasizing problem identification and commitment to follow-up, was utilized to predict client stabilization for adolescents based on clients' gender. Method: Data were collected from adolescent clients admitted to psychiatric acute care programs. Licensed master's level clinicians completed the Clinician Problem Scale Revised and Goal Attainment Scale of Stabilization on their adolescent clients. Multiple regression analysis was used to address whether or not differences in gender affected the extent to which goal attainment accounted for scores on the Clinician Problem Scale Revised. Results: The consideration of gender in the goal attainment model was statistically significant in predicting client stabilization. Conclusion: Male adolescents appeared to benefit from emphasis placed on the identification of the problem, whereas female adolescents benefited from an emphasis on their commitment to follow-up. In April 2021, The Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling Executive Council commissioned a time-referenced task group to revise the Responsibilities of Users of Standardized Tests (RUST) Statement (3rd edition) published by the Association for Assessment in Counseling (AAC) in 2003. The task group developed a work plan to implement a recursive process for document review, gap analysis, commentary representation, bias accounting, and content revision. While some updates to the document were minor, several substantive enhancements to the structure were made including a re-defined scope, definition of terms, and identification of values that are considered integral across all of the responsibilities. In addition the task group identified and included several updates to the document that are consistent with contemporary representations of evidence for test score validity/reliability and emphases on culturally responsive test administration, variance in score representation, training and supervision, use of technology-mediated testing platforms, and differential consequences of testing. As new forms of sexually explicit material (SEM) platforms emerge, sex research and sexuality-based studies must also evolve. Although the subscription-based platform OnlyFans has become an increasingly popular way for content creators to share and access SEM, the demographic information and sexual attitudes of users across sex have not yet been reported. The present study contributes to the existing body of SEM literature by providing a demographic analysis of OnlyFans users and an assessment of sexual attitudes between users and nonusers across sex. In this study, participants from a US-based sample (n = 718, Mage = 29.46, male [n = 335, 46.7%], female [n = 383, 53.3%]) were solicited using the Mechanical Turk platform. Participants were predominately White (n = 475, 66.2%); additional representation of ethnic/racial groups included Black/African-American (n = 121; 16.9%), American Indian/Alaskan Native (n = 10; 1.4%), Asian-American/Asian (n = 32; 4.4%), Hispanic/Latinx (n = 53; 7.3%), Arab American/Arab (n = 10; 1.4%), and biracial or multiracial (n = 17; 2.4%). Based on our findings, OnlyFans users were predominantly married, white, males who identified as heterosexual or bisexual/pansexual. Our findings also revealed that OnlyFans users and nonusers endorsed similar sexual attitudes related to permissiveness, communion, instrumentality, and birth control across sex. The purpose of this study was to develop a theoretically-driven instrument of achievement motivation and determine its validation. The Achievement Motivation Measure (AMM) is closely aligned with Atkinson and McClelland's (1948, 1953, 1961) theoretical constructs of achievement thoughts and behaviours. Confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis (CFA and EFA) methods evaluated the structural validity of a newly developed instrument, the AMM, by assessing achievement thoughts and behaviours. Participants included 632 graduate and undergraduate university students. EFA supported two factors (Achievement Thoughts and Achievement Behaviours) with 13 items. Findings of a CFA supported the modified two-factor model as fitting the data. The article presents a research paper that discusses the application of the Athletic Coping Skill Inventory in the prediction of performance of in collegiate baseball players. The inventory is used by collecting performance statistics of batting average, number of errors committed and earned run average for pitchers. The impact of the psychological variables used in the inventory on the performance statistics are analyzed through regression analysis.

Bayesian racism is the belief that it is rational to discriminate against people based on existing racial stereotypes. The presence of Bayesian racism is strongly associated with negative feelings about minoritized groups and the desire to maintain racially inequitable social hierarchies. A confirmatory factor analysis on the Bayesian Racism Scale (BRS) yielded a unidimensional measure for assessing prejudicial attitudes that endorse stereotypes based on racial and ethnic groups.
