The world of sport is continually changing and the use of technology is one of those areas that has made an impact on many sports and on health promotion. The aim of this work is to establish, through a bibliometric analysis, whether and how technology can change the way of doing sport, favouring health promotion. The study develops a bibliometric overview of all the journals that are currently indexed in Web of Science (WoS) database in any of the categories connected health-technology-sport research. The research has studied the influential concepts and themes in the field of health promotion through technological innovations in sport. The analysis was conducted using the frequency of keywords and citations from the articles published between 2000 and 2018. The work identifies the leading journals in health research through a bibliometric approach. The analysis shows a deep overview of the results of health journals. It is worth noting that many journals have entered the WoS database during the last years, in many cases to fill some specific niche that has emerged in the literature, although the most popular ones have been in the database for a long time. Sport is an increasingly popular phenomenon among people probably due to the parallel evolution of the methods of development of physiological, technical and strategic capacities. People who play sports have learned to pay more and more attention to the loads they put on their bodies. This is because it is know that excessive loads during workouts can increase the risk of injuries. As the benefits of sport activity manifest themselves in many fields like in disability, in the presence of clinical pathologies, for recovery prison and especially in schools, it cannot be considered as simple gymnastics, since it involves physical, psychological, and cultural aspects and for these reasons we now increasingly speak of sport pedagogy. Many definitions have been proposed for the word training but all of them are almost always incomplete. This because training is to be understood as a complex pedagogical process in which various factors come into play such as, for example, motor, physical, technical, tactical but above all psychological, neurobiological and social factors. The aim of training is to describe, quantify and evaluate human movement. The analysis of human movement provide information about different aspects of a specific motor task (such as walking, jumping and running), through measuring instruments like cameras or sensors. These allow to obtain quantitative and qualitative descriptions of the observed sport gesture. The purpose of this review is to analyse how the motion analysis, through its different technologies, can help in the description and characterization of sport and training intended as pedagogical processes. Background and aim: Response to ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) is crucial for the prediction of primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) prognosis, and different response criteria were validated and proposed by reference centers for PBC. To date, rates of non-response to UDCA from real-world series are lacking. Methods: Hepatology/Gastroenterology centers belonging to 'Club Epatologi Ospedalieri' (CLEO) and 'Associazione Italiana Gastroenterologi Ospedalieri' (AIGO) were invited to participate in the study, and asked to extract all patients followed for PBC, without any selection or exclusion, and fill in the database provided. Results: Thirty-four centers were enrolled throughout Italy, for a total of 713 patients. None of these centers, except one, had a hepatology outpatient clinic devoted to the care of patients with autoimmune liver diseases. After excluding 79 cases of PBC/autoimmune hepatitis overlaps, 634 patients were analyzed: mean age, 64.4 ± 12.0 years; 91.2% females; F/M 10.3/1. For patients with at least 1 year of UDCA treatment (583), rates of non-response to UDCA were evaluated according to the Paris-I/-II, Toronto and GLOBE criteria, and compared with those in the original cohorts: 27% vs 39% in Paris-I cohort; 39.6% vs 52% in Paris-II; 20.1% vs 43.5% in Toronto; 15.7% vs 30% in GLOBE (age-specific cutoffs). Mean alkaline phosphatase levels on UDCA treatment, and the age-adjusted prevalence of F3/F4 fibrosis, appeared lower in this PBC population than in reference cohorts. Conclusions: A mean ∼15% better response to UDCA is observed in a real-world PBC population, probably due to migration of some of most severe/advanced cases to PBC referral centers. The focus of this paper is the use of the poetic word in preaching. The author demonstrates, through a phenomenology of the word, that the human word is a relationship event, it is the bearer of spiritual realities. The word originates in the abyss of the human heart, where the creative imagination appears. Images, feelings, poetically inspired words can become a useful tool for the effectiveness of communication in preaching. The theological power of Literature. Literature, and poetry in particular, aren't the only useful instruments of the expression of faith. The poetic language, which comes from the creative imagination, seems to be the most suitable to describe the mystery and the ineffable. For this reason beside the conceptual theology, the poetic dimension must be taken in the theological language again, above all in those register that express the human background more particularly. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the sports industry not only in the classic perspective of improving the state of physical well-being or of celebration of the athlete's performance, but rather in a multidimensional perspective. In this regard, it was shown how through an evolutionary process over time, sport has come to considerably and positively affect other contexts, including certainly education and school, tourism industry and that concerning socio-economic issues. Background & Aims The proportion of HCV-infected patients over age 65 years in Western countries is increasing. This growth and the advent of new antiviral therapy bring into the question the real-world efficacy and safety of the combination of sofosbuvir ( SOF) and simeprevir ( SMV) plus a flat dose of 800 mg/d ribavirin ( RBV) in elderly patients with cirrhosis compared to younger patients. Methods Retrospective observational multicentre real-life investigation study of SOF/ SMV/ RBV for a duration of 12 weeks in HCV genotype 1-infected patients with cirrhosis. Results Of the 270 patients enrolled in this study, with compensated cirrhosis, 133 (49.2%) were ≥65 years of age. Sustained virological response at 12 weeks ( SVR12) was achieved by 94.2% (129/137) of those aged <65 years and 97.7% (130/133) of those ≥65 years. Diabetes was the most common comorbidity in patients ≥65 years compared to younger patients (26.3% vs 12.4% P<.003). The most common adverse event ( AE) in elderly patients was a grade 2 anaemia (35.3% vs 19.9% P<.004). Conclusions Sofosbuvir/simeprevir plus a daily flat dose of RBV 800 mg for 12 weeks was highly effective and safe in genotype 1 elderly patients with compensated cirrhosis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this age of deep feelings of gloom and the lost of meaning and reasons for living, it is necessary to revive and reawaken in the heart of men the desire for the Absolute who can fill and give meaning to life. The rediscovery of that ideal model of fraternity, of which strength is in finding the beauty of caring for each other and of keeping others in heart, is the anthropological and at the same time the gospel way for its progress.
