Background: Hospital performance challenges are receiving attention because they concern the efficiency and effectiveness of human resources in accomplishing organizational objectives and visions. Many factors influence performance, including superiors' supervision, which has an impact on the organization's overall performance results. In fact, supervision has not been carried out optimally. Purpose: to analyze how the nurse unit manager's supervision affected nurse performance. Methods: A correlational study methodology was used on 67 nurses from the inpatient room. To obtain 57 individuals, a stratified random sampling procedure was used. The data was analyzed using the Spearman rho statistical test, with a significance threshold of = 0.05. Results: From 67 respondents, 33 respondents (57.9 percent) stated that the nurse unit manager offered acceptable supervision. The 32 respondents (56.1 percent) had adequate performance. Result of the Spearman rho test obtained a p-value = 0.000 which is less than the value of alpha (0.05), so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the performance of nurses at X Hospital Kediri City. Conclusion: It was concluded that there is a link between the nurse unit manager's supervision and the performance of nurses. The study's findings also suggest that supervision can increase nurse performance because, when supervising the nurse unit manager evaluates certain activities directed at nurses, if the evaluation is corrected by the nurse, it can improve the nurse's performance.

The main uses of bullets are as projectiles in firearms for military, law enforcement, and civilian purposes. However, bullets have significant industrial applications beyond their role in weaponry, such as precision drilling, cutting, and shaping of hard materials. Steel bullets have a very resistant structure and will not be damaged if exposed to corrosion. Other applications that are resistant to strike and projectiles, such as the automotive and aerospace industries, are based on fibers or fabrics with high toughness and tensile strength, such as Kevlar and p -aramid fibers, which are impregnated with some thermoplastic or thermoset polymers. Therefore, in the upcoming research, the impact of external force (EF) with various values (0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5 V/Å) on the strength of Kevlar nanofibers reinforced with silicon dioxide (SiO2) nanoparticles and ethylene glycol (EG) has been investigated using LAMMPS software. EG and SiO2 nanoparticles with 10 and 2 vol% were added to Kevlar fabrics, creating a shear thickening fluid (STF) nanocomposite. The energy parameters of the interaction between the particles, collision velocity, and the center of mass have been calculated. The findings of the research indicate an increase in the interaction energy from 111271.85 to 154351.15 kcal/mol, an increase in the collision velocity from 0.7046 to 1.5812 Å/fs and an increase in the center of mass from 0.62671 to 1.1670 Å due to the EF applied from 0.2 to 0.4 (kcal/mol)/Å. These results show EF should be optimized in actual cases for the collision process to occur effectively.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has been implementing a booster vaccine program since January 12th, 2022, with priority for the elderly and vulnerable groups as well as those who got the second C-19 vaccine longer than 6 months. The implementation of this program raised many pros and cons among public which were expressed either positively or negatively through social media. Therefore, sentiment analysis is needed to examine these phenomenons. This study aims to determine the positive and negative response from public by employing K-Nearest Neighbor method. A total of 2,000 commentary data were collected to be in turn classified based on positive and negative sentiments. There are 500 comments used as training data and divided equally to positive and negative class, each consists of 250 data. Using the value of K = 9, the results show a positive sentiment of 43% while a negative sentiment of 57%. Based on the validity test using 10-fold cross validation, an accuracy of 82.60% was obtained, a recall value was 82.60% with a precision of 83.89%.

The manufacturing industry mostly uses CNC Milling machines in processing products that require high precision values. This machine is capable of a wide variety of feeding methods, inclinations, feed speeds, various tool styles, and much more. The purpose of this research is to analyze one method of infeed direction with the Zig-Zag effect by using 2 types of normal and variable tool types combined with variations in spindle speed and DOC to find out which variable is effective and produce a smoother comparison of surface roughness values. The type of material tested was SS 304 because this material has good advantages against corrosion. From the results of research conducted on this material for the use of a variable tool, it has an average roughness value of 0.327 µm and for the results of the roughness test on the use of a normal tool, it has an average roughness value of 0.470 µm. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the value of the Depth Of Cut (DOC), the roughness value are directly proportional, and the faster the spindle rotation, the frictional force generated also increases. The highest Ra value from the research results occurred in DOC 1.6 mm with a spindle speed of 2750 rpm using a variable tool of 0.361 µm and a roughness value of 0.516 µm on a normal tool. The conclusion of this research is that the variable tool produces a lower Ra value than the normal tool so that the type of material defects caused by chatter vibration can be reduced.

Cardiovascular diseases are unfortunately one of the leading causes of death in today's society. It is important to analyze blood flow in various parts of the circulatory system. The coronary artery is made up of four main arteries, and the left coronary artery is responsible for delivering blood to the heart muscle. This research utilizes computational fluid dynamics and finite element methods to investigate and analyze coronary vessels by studying changes in blood characteristics. The aim of this study is to analyze and model the flow of blood under different conditions of the coronary vessels, with a particular focus on the vessels on the left side. This is in response to changes in hematocrit, which can cause an increase or decrease in blood viscosity (μp) (N.s/m2). In general, by applying condition flexibility for the vessel, it is possible to reduce pressure distribution on the wall when compared to the rigid model. When considering changes in viscosity (μ) (kg/m. s), such as an increase from 0.0029 to 0.0067, this can lead to changes in the shear stress distribution (N/m2) on the wall. Specifically, this increase in blood viscosity (μp) (N.s/m2) causes maximum tension, resulting in the wall shear WSS (N/m2) rising from 60 to 154 Pascal's, which is a 140% increase. Based on the current data, it appears that there is a high flow pressure in the artery, resulting in maximum relative pressure values of 6300 and 6450 Pascal's for the rigid and flexible models, respectively, at the separating joint of the bifurcation.

Abstract The efficient injection system has a great role on the overall enactment of air breathing propulsion systems at supersonic flow. In this work, the usage of extruded multi-injectors in the fuel distribution and mixing through the combustor is fully investigated. The usage of the extruded nozzles considerably intensifies the formation of the vortices nearby the injectors and this research has tried to visualize the role of these vortices on the diffusion of the fuel jet through the combustor of the scramjet. The influences of the jet space on the strength of produced circulations are fully discussed. The simulation of the high-speed air stream moving the combustion chamber with extruded nozzles is done via Computational Fluid dynamics. Based on our computational data, the use of extruded multi-jets enhances the penetration and diffusion of the hydrogen cross jet in supersonic airflow. Increasing the gap between injectors improves fuel mixing performance by up to 27% downstream of the jets, primarily by enhancing the lateral penetration of the fuel jet.

Particulate matter (PM) with a diameter of less than 10 µm is among the pollutants in cities that can be inhaled by humans. They are 100 µm in size and are neutralized by the lungs' cleaning system. Particles with a size of 2.5 µm cause cardiac and pulmonary discomfort by settling in the respiratory system. In this research, the absorption of PM by the respiratory system simulated with CFD has been investigated. Also, the effect of using a mask with a porosity of 0.07 and 0.2 on the absorption of PM has been investigated. The results show that the percentage of particle absorption for laminar flow and flow rates of 20, 25, and 30 lit/min is equal to 96.87 %, 97.19 %, and 97.64 %. With the increase of fluorite, the percentage of absorption of particles also increases. The percentage of particle absorption for turbulent flow and flow rates of 40, 60, and 100 lit/min is equal to 98.67 %, 98.65 %, and 99.59 %. With the increase of fluorite, the percentage of absorption of particles also increases. The absorption of particles for 1, 2.5, and 10 µm is close to each other for laminar respiratory flows, while it does not show this in a turbulent flow. The respiratory filter with a porosity of 0.07 is ideal and can filter particles up to 99 %. According to the results obtained in this project, in the porosity of 0.07, the filtration of 1-µm particles is the best compared to the rest of the investigated porosity.

In this article, we introduce a nonlinear oscillator equation containing two strong linear terms. An approximate solution was obtained using power series approach. Furthermore, by introducing a parameter to the original equation, we fined the fixed points of the modified nonlinear oscillator equation and study stability analysis of these fixed points. On the other hand, we simulate the solution of the nonlinear oscillator equation and introduced many plots for different initial conditions. Finally, we make some plots concerning the phase portrait for different cases.

The application of solar energy as the widest, clean and free source of thermal energy requires the solar collector. As one of the common types of solar collector, heat pipe solar collector has been investigated. The thermal performance of a solar heat pipe collector was simulated using the anisotropic sky radiation model in eight different tilt angles and thirteen azimuth angles at the location of Isfahan City, Iran. The obtained theoretical results were compared with experimental ones and an average discrepancy of 5 % was obtained. After approving the chosen model, the optimum seasonal and yearly tilt angles were calculated and the correlations also were drawn from a written subroutine. The results show that through spring and summer, the optimum tilt angle is somewhat less and through autumn and winter the optimum tilt angle is beyond the latitude angle with the largest difference in spring and autumn. For the whole year and under the conditions of the present study, the optimum tilt angle is nearly the same as the latitude angle of the location.

In industrial environments where combustion (Com.) is widely carried out, such as steam power plants, gas turbines, etc., the most common way to express the amount of oxygen consumption is its excess percentage in addition to the stoichiometric ratio, and the nearness of a catalyst causes combustion to happen at a high ratio. There are different influential factors in catalytic combustion, such as initial temperature (IT). The current study uses the molecular dynamics (MD) method to examine how the IT and oxygen ratio affect air-methane catalytic combustion in a helical microchannel. The LAMMPS package was used to conduct this investigation. This study examines how simulated structures function during burning in excess oxygen (EO) and oxygen deficiency (OD). Furthermore, palladium was used as a catalyst with an atomic ratio of 4 %. The findings show that raising the IT may enhance its atomic behavior (AB) and thermal performance (TP). The maximum velocity (MV) and maximum temperature (MT) increased from 0.26 Å/ps and 1617 K to 0.45 Å/ps and 1891 K in EO as IT increased from 300 to 700 K. By accelerating the particle velocity, it is anticipated that the catalytic combustion process would proceed more quickly. As a result, after increasing the IT to 700 K, the heat flux (HF), thermal conductivity (TC), and combustion efficiency (CE) increase to 2101 W/m2, 1.23 W/m. K, and 93 %, respectively. On the other hand, the results show that increasing IT affects combustion performance in the presence of OD. In the presence of OD, the MV and CE converge to 0.38 Å/ps and 94 % at 700 K. Therefore. It can be concluded that the atomic ratio of oxygen and the IT can significantly affect combustion process.

One of the most crucial concerns is improving industrial equipment's ability to transmit heat at a faster rate, hence minimizing energy loss. Viscosity is one of the key elements determining heat transmission in fluids. Therefore, it is crucial to research the viscosity of nanofluids (NF). In this study, the effect of temperature (T) and the volume fraction of nanoparticles (φ) on the viscosity of the silica-alumina-MWCNT/Water hybrid nanofluid (HNF) is examined. In this study, a nonlinear curve fitting is accurately fitted using MATLAB software and is used to identify the main effect, extracting the residuals and viscosity deviation of these two input variables, i.e., temperature (T = 20 to 60 °C) and volume fraction of nanoparticles (φ = 0.1 to 0.5 %). The findings demonstrate that the viscosity of silica-alumina-MWCNT/ Water hybrid nanofluid increases as the φ increases. In terms of numbers, the μnf rises from 1.55 to 3.26 cP when the φ grows from 0.1 to 0.5 % (at T = 40 °C). On the other hand, the μnf decreases as the temperature was increases. The μnf of silica-alumina-MWCNT/ Water hybrid nanofluid reduces from 3.3 to 1.73 cP when the temperature rises from 20 to 60 °C (at φ = 0.3 %). The findings demonstrate that the μnf exhibits greater variance for lower temperatures and higher φ.

Objective: We wish to update existing meta-analyses to assess the effectiveness of pharmacological agents against ureteral stent-related symptoms with better design of RCTs, as well as more valid and reliable measurement methods. Material & Methods: Relevant published articles up to February 2022 were obtained from PubMed, CENTRAL, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and DOAJ. All single-blind or double-blind RCTs with various comparisons using pharmacological agents and/or placebo in patients with ureteral stent-related symptoms, with outcome assessment using USSQ at week 1 and week 4 during stent placement was included in the study. Statistical parameter Mean Difference (MD) with 95% CI was used to measure effect size. The p value less than 0.05 indicates statistical significance. Results: Alpha blockers (2 studies, 85 samples) significantly reduced fourth week UIS compared to placebo (MD: – 5.46, 95% CI: – 7.47 to -3.46, I2 = 0%, P = < 0.001), and alpha blockers (2 studies, 42 samples) significantly reduced first week SIS compared to combination therapy (MD: – 0.82, 95% CI: – 1.56 to – 0.08, I2 = 0%, P = 0.03). The results of the meta-analysis of USSQ scores in other domains have no significant differences. Conclusion: Alpha blockers were better than placebo in reducing UIS due to ureteral stent in the fourth week of stent placement, and better than combination therapy in reducing SIS due to ureteral stent in the first-week post stenting. Nanofluids (NFs) are nanoscale colloidal suspensions containing dense nanomaterials. They are two-phase systems with solid in liquid phase. Due to their high thermal conductivity, nanoparticles increase the thermal conductivity (TC) of base fluids, one of the basic heat transfer parameters, when distributed in the base fluids. The present research investigates the thermal behavior, Brownian motion, and thermophoresis of water/graphene NF affected by different numbers of atomic wall layers (4, 5, 6 and 7) by molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. This investigation reports changes in heat flux (HF), TC, average Brownian displacement, and thermophoresis displacement. By raising the number of atomic wall layers from 4 to 7, the average Brownian displacement and thermophoresis displacement increase from 3.06 Å and 23.88 Å to 3.62 and 25.05 Å, respectively. Increasing the number of layers due to the decrease in temperature increases the temperature difference between the hot and cold points along the channel. It increases the Brownian motion and the maximum temperature. Additionally, by raising the atomic layers of the channel wall, the values of HF and TC increase from 39.54 W/m2 and 0.36 W/mK to 41.18 W/m2 and 0.42 W/mK after 10 ns, respectively. The temperature rose from 1415 to 1538 K. These results are useful in different industries, especially for improving the thermal properties of different NFs.

Integrating cooling systems with photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) collectors has the potential to mitigate the exergy consumption in the building sector due to their capability for simultaneous power and thermal energy generation. The simultaneous utilization of nanofluid and geometry modification resulted in a synergetic enhancement in the performance of PVTs and thereby reducing their sizes and costs. In addition, there is still a lack of high accurate predictive model for the estimation of the performance of PVTs at a given Re number and nanofluid concentration ratio to be used in engineering design for the further product commercialization. To this end, the current numerical study investigates the exergy electricity, thermal, and overall exergies of a building-integrated photovoltaic thermal (BIPVT) solar collector with Al2O3/water coolant. The increase in nanoparticle concentration (ω) from 0 % to 1 % increased the useful thermal exergy and overall exergy efficiency (Exu,t/ Υov) by 0.3999 %/0.0497 %, 1.3959 %/0.2598 %, and 0.7489 %/0.1771 % at Re numbers of 500, 1000, and 1500, respectively, while Exu,t/ Υov exhibited a reducing trend at Re = 2000; 0.3928 %/0.1056 % decrease. In addition, the increase in ω from 0 % to 1 % caused the useful electricity and electrical exergy (Exu,e/ Υe) to be diminished by 0.0060 %/0.0025 % at Res 500 and 1000, and to be escalated by 0.0113 %/0.0055 % at Res of 1500 and 2000. Meanwhile, the Re augmentation, from 500 to 2000, improved the Exu,t, Exe, Υe, and Υov by 60 %, 1.26 %, 1.26 %, and 17.50 %, respectively, at different ω s. In addition, two functions were developed and proposed by applying a group method of data handling-type neural network (GMDH-ANN) to forecast the value of Υov based on two input values (Re and ω). The results showed high accuracy of the proposed model with MSE, EMSE, and R2 of 0.0138, 0.1143, and 0.99785, respectively.

Latar Belakang: Dislipidemia merupakan keadaan dimana kadar biokimia lipid didalam tubuh berada dalam rentang abnormal. Dislipidemia dapat berpotensi untuk menimbulkan penyakit seperti aterosklerosis dan penyakit jantung koroner. Daging buah kelapa serta daging putih buah semangka diketahui memiliki senyawa antioksidan yang dapat mencegah dislipidemia. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan potensi pemberian kombinasi daging buah kelapa dan daging buah semangka dapat menginhibisi parameter metabolik pada kondisi dislipidemia. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental berdesain post-test only with control group design yang melibatkan 5 kelompok dengan 25 ekor tikus Wistar perlakuan dengan induksi dislipidemia dengan menggunakan kuning telur puyuh. Perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan intervensi jus daging kelapa atau jus daging putih semangka atau kombinasi keduanya; dan 1 kelompok kontrol dengan induksi dislipidemia dengan kuning telur puyuh yang dilanjutkan dengan intervensi akuades. Durasi intervensi dilakukan selama 28 hari dengan pengambilan darah dilakukan di hari ke-29. Uji kadar profil lipid dilakukan dengan menggunakan plasma darah. The availability of digital infrastructures and the fast-paced development of accompanying revolutionary technologies have triggered an unprecedented reliance on Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques both in theory and practice. Within the AI domain, Machine Learning (ML) techniques stand out as essential facilitator largely enabling machines to possess human-like cognitive and decision making capabilities. This paper provides a focused review of the literature addressing applications of emerging ML tools to solve various Project Scheduling Problems (PSPs). In particular, it employs bibliometric and network analysis tools along with a systematic literature review to analyze a pool of 104 papers published between 1985 and August 2021. The conducted analysis unveiled the top contributing authors, the most influential papers as well as the existing research tendencies and thematic research topics within this field of study. A noticeable growth in the number of relevant studies is seen recently with a steady increase as of the year 2018. Most of the studies adopted Artificial Neural Networks, Bayesian Network and Reinforcement Learning techniques to tackle PSPs under a stochastic environment, where these techniques are frequently hybridized with classical metaheuristics. The majority of works (57%) addressed basic Resource Constrained PSPs and only 15% are devoted to the project portfolio management problem. Furthermore, this study clearly indicates that the application of AI techniques to efficiently handle PSPs is still in its infancy stage bringing out the need for further research in this area. This work also identifies current research gaps and highlights a multitude of promising avenues for future research.

Abstract The improvement of heat transfer inside the solar heat exchangers is important for the development of solar energy in an urban area. In this study, the usage of a non-uniform magnetic field on the thermal efficiency of the nanofluid (Fe3O4) streaming inside the U-turn pipe of solar heat exchangers is examined. Computational fluid dynamic is applied to visualize the nanofluid flow inside the solar heat exchanger. The role of magnetic intensity and Reynolds number on thermal efficiency are fully investigated. The effect of single and triple sources of the magnetic field is also studied in our research. Obtained results indicate that the usage of the magnetic field results in the production of vortex in the base fluid and heat transfer improves inside the domain. Our finding indicates that the usage of the magnetic field with Mn = 25 K would improve the average heat transfer by about 21% along the U-turn pipe of solar heat exchangers.

Abstract Application of the stent for treatment of the internal carotid artery (ICA) aneurysms has been extensively increased in recent decades. In the present work, stent-induced deformations of the parent vessel of ICA aneurysms are fully investigated. This study tries to visualize blood stream and calculated hemodynamic factors inside the four ICA aneurysms after deformations of parent vessel. For the simulation of the non-Newtonian blood stream, computational fluid dynamic is applied with one-way Fluid–Solid interaction (FSI) approach. Four ICA aneurysms with different ostium sizes and neck vessel angle are selected for this investigation. Wall shear stress on wall of aneurysm is analyzed in two angles of deformation due to application of the stent. Blood flow investigation shows that the deformation of the aneurysm limited blood entrance to the sac region and this decreases the blood velocity and consequently oscillatory shear index (OSI) on the sac wall. It is also observed that the stent-induced deformation is more effective on those cases with extraordinary OSI values on aneurysm wall.

Metal matrix composites have various structural and thermal applications in terms of their unique mechanical and thermal properties compared to their counterparts. These nanoparticle (NP)-reinforced composites have received much attention due to their relatively low production costs and excellent mechanical properties. In the present research, modeling and studying the effects of adding reinforcing NP on the hardness of aluminium-based composites is done using the molecular dynamics (MD) simulation. The expressed structures' equilibration, temperature, and potential energy are calculated and reported in the first simulation stage. In this regard, the parameters of Lennard-Jones potential function for the particles in the MD simulation of aluminium and oxygen. Finally, the results show that the hardness of pure nanocomposite (NC) was equal to 100, and by adding NP with a mass ratio of 6%, the hardness of NC increased from 100 to 190 HV. The radial distribution function (RDF) showed that the composition was in the solid phase at a temperature of 300 K, indicating the proper balance of simulated atomic systems. The results show that the maximum value of RDF decreased by increasing the amount of reinforcement. The results show that the yield stress decreased as the volume fraction of reinforcement increased in the crystal structure. Finally, it is expected that the results obtained from MD simulations will be considered in the practical use of aluminium NCs reinforced with alumina nanoparticles in various industrial, engineering and medical uses.

In this study, the natural convection enhancement in grooved vertical multi-cylinders at various groove geometries is investigated. The effects of several grooves ranging from 3 to 7, groove thickness ranging from 0.25 to 1 mm, and cylinder surface temperature ranging from 350 to 500 K at different Rayleigh numbers are examined. The current study was simulated using the finite volume method using CFD with a laminar steady-state condition. The SIMPLE scheme is used for the pressure–velocity coupling discretization and the second-order upwind method is utilized to discretize the momentum and energy equations. The results obtained from the present research show that the presence of grooves on the cylinders will increase the heat transfer surface, create and intensify the secondary flow and mixing, and ultimately increase the heat transfer. Moreover, by increasing the number of grooves and its thickness, the amount of heat transfer increases dramatically. It’s also found that the groove thickness parameter's effectiveness on heat transfer is more than the groove number parameter. Ultimately, it’s demonstrated that using grooved cylinders leads to a 14 % augmentation in Nusselt number in comparison with employing plain cylinders.
