cote interne IRCAM: Vergez98b; /; National audience; An artificial mouth with latex lips for trumpet-likeinstruments has been built. Four-track simultaneous recordings havebeen performed: acoustic pressure in the mouth, in the mouthpiece, andin the bell as well as the lips' opening area. Moreover, visualisation andfilming of the lips' movement has been done. Results are analysed in order tobetter understand the functioning of a brass instrument with the aim, among others, of improving our real-time model of trumpet.
