In this paper, acceptance sampling plans are developed when the life test is truncated at a pre-assigned time. For different acceptance numbers, confidence levels and values of the ratio of the fixed experiment time to the specified average life time, the minimum sample sizes required to ensure the specified average life are calculate assuming that the life time variate of the test units follows a two-parameter Quasi Lindley distribution (QLD(2)). The binomial distribution is often used to display attribute control data. In this paper, a statistical model is settled for attribute control chart under truncated life test. By Burr X & XII, inverse Gaussian (IG), and exponential lifetime-truncated distributions, a Shewhart-type attribute control chart is built to display the data. The performance of attributed control chart constructed on truncated life test is evaluated by average run length, which compares the performance of all distributions. In this article, we suggest using the sample entropy to fit the structural measurement error model. Using sample entropy in data analysis can be considered as a data screening to avoid problem in the data such as heteroscedasticity and co-linearity. The measurement error model is fitted under the assumption that the intercept is known. The mathematical derivation of the slope and its properties are given. An illustration using real data analysis to fit the relationship between happiness rate and human development index is given. This is a study surrounding the interplay between Human Resource Management (HRM) and knowledge transfer within an emerging institutional petro-state. It seeks to link HRM and knowledge transfer through individual-level mechanisms in response to the recent calls for more research on microfoundations. Our findings provide empirical evidence for HRM-related factors influencing knowledge exchange in a sample of 815 employees in the national context of the UAE. We found that individual-level perceptions and extrinsic motivation have a positive impact on knowledge exchange; however, we found evidence to suggest only an indirect effect of individual perceptions of organisational commitment to knowledge exchange, via individual intrinsic motivation and social interaction. Unlike some existing accounts from the Western world, individual perceptions of organisational commitment to knowledge sharing had no direct positive impact on knowledge exchange - an issue that may be ascribed to the distinct institutional setting of the UAE. This paper adds to the existing literature on HRM and knowledge exchange by bringing to bear new evidence from a Middle Eastern emerging market setting - an area thus far relatively neglected in the literature. The research is aimed at evaluating the process of urbanization and it's spatio-temporal impacts on albedo and the changing climate of the Punjab. Climate change in urban areas has become a public focal point, as urban development in our present-day environment is one of the most critical aspects of human activities. The shift in the reflective properties of the surface is one of the particular climatic consequences of urbanization which most researchers have overlooked (Albedo). Changes in urbanized land surface properties resulted in a global, regional, and local change s in biochemical cycles and environment. This analysis aims to identify the urban land use of the 1990-2018 study area (decadal) and evaluate Albedo and Climatic Variables' trends over the selected region. This study will provide a complete code of classification in Google Earth Engine for researchers. In Google Earth Engine, the classification technique was utilized to detect urban areas and barren land cover types by applying coding over four images of 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2018 of Punjab Province. The Albedo maps were created in the same way for the years 2000 and 2018. Climatic maps were created from 1990 to 2018 by applying the Inverse Distance Weighted method in a GIS system. There has been an apparent increase in the urban area of Punjab Province from 1990 to 2018. The urban area has increased from 1183.5342 km2 to 8396.4618 km2 during the study period. Results from climatic maps showed hotspots in the areas that have undergone urbanization. This article proposed a modified AM estimation procedure. The procedure uses the grouping estimators iteratively after dividing the sample into clus- ters. Then, the grouping AM procedure used to if the structural relationship with measurement error considering there is no equation error model. The performance of the iterative grouping estimator is compared with the tra- ditional two group estimators. Simulation study showed that in terms of mean square error the proposed estimator is robustify the traditional two group estimator. In this paper, a two points acceptance sampling method were used to draw a decision on accepting or rejecting a tested product. It is also, as- sumed that the life time product follows a new distribution that formulated based on Weibull and Pareto life time distributions that it is known as new Weibull-Pareto (NWP) distribution. The mean life time in the second stage is obtained based on a pre-specified life time in the first one and the quality of a product is evaluated by computing the operating characteristic values and the minimum ratios of the mean life. This paper implements the generalized maximum entropy (GME) method in longitudinal data setup to investigate the regression para meters and correlation among the repeated measurements. We derive the GME system using Shannon classical entropy as well as some higher-order entropies assuming an autoregressive correlation structure. This method is illustrated using two simulated examples to study the effect of changing the support range and compare the performance of the GME approach with the classical estimation methods. In this paper, we proposed a new quality control chart for the sample mean based on a cost free and anti wasting sampling unit's scheme known by the folded ranked set sampling (FRSS). The new control charts were compared with the classical control charts when the data obtained by using simple random sampling (SRS) and ranked set sampling (RSS). A simulation study showed that the FRSS based control charts are a good alternative to the RSS based charts and they have smaller average run length (ARL) compared with their counterpart charts using SRS. The correlations between the presence of MTHFR 677 (C>T) and MTHFR 1298 (A>C) mutations in human lymphocytes and the sensitivity of lymphocytes to methotrexate (MTX) were examined in cultures derived from 82 unrelated women, genotyped for these mutations by polymerase chain reaction–restriction fragment length polymorphism. Lymphocytes heterozygous for the mutant allele, MTHFR 677T, were significantly more sensitive to methotrexate than those carrying the homozygous wild-type allele, MTHFR677C, and those carrying either the mutant or the wild-type alleles in the polymorphic MTHFR 1298 site. In addition, the lymphocyte cultures carrying the mutant MTHFR 1298C allele were not different in their sensitivity to MTX from those cultures carrying the wild-type allele, MTHFR 1298A. This demonstrated that the polymorphic site MTHFR C677, but not MTHFR1298, could be considered as a useful pharmacogenetic determinant in planning and designing the effective personal MTX chemotherapeutic doses and regimes.
