The target compounds 4-(((1H-heteraryl)imino)methyl)-N,N-bis(4-(((4-((4-nitrophenyl) diazenyl)phenyl)imino)methyl)phenyl)aniline (7a-q) were prepared starting with 4,4′-diformyltriphenyl amine (2) which subjected to react with N-bromosuccinimide to give bromodiformyltriphenyl amine (4). Compound 4 reacted with two moles of 4-nitro-4′-aminoazobenzene to give the di-Schiff base 5. Compound 5 converted to its corresponding formyl derivative 6 by reaction with n-BuLi. The reaction of the formyl derivative 6 with seventeen amino heteraryl compounds afforded the target compounds 7a-q. All the newly prepared compounds were characterized by different spectroscopic and elemental analyses. Compounds 7a-q were screened for their antimicrobial activities against yeast-like fungi (C. albicans), Gram-negative (GN) bacteria (P. aeruginosa and E. coli), and Gram-positive (GP) bacteria (S. thuringiensis and B. subtilis). Compounds 7d, 7k, 7l, and 7q showed the highest activity against Gram-positive bacteria. The results of antimicrobial activity showed that it is highly affected by the used amine basicity.

Objectives: The professional literature guides manual handling in numerous health care settings. The effects of these guidelines on stroke rehabilitation and the clinical communication of health care professionals are unknown. This paper aims to investigate the perspectives of nurses and physiotherapists on handling guidelines in their professions to identify conflicts in opinions to provide optimum care to people with stroke. Design: A qualitative focus group study. Methods: Three focus groups were conducted. The participants were physiotherapists or nurses with 1 year of stroke care experience. The data were thematically analysed. Results: Nineteen participants (12 physiotherapists and 7 nurses) were interviewed. The data analysis revealed 3 themes. First, “The application of handling in stroke rehabilitation” includes clinical reasoning and real-world handling practices. The second theme, “Physical Effects on Therapists,” examines the long-term effects of manual handling on therapists, including work-related musculoskeletal disorders. The final theme, “Conflicts among health care professionals,” investigates stroke rehabilitation equipment conflicts between nurses and physiotherapists. Conclusion: The study concludes that stroke transfer guidelines in the specialised literature may impact health care professionals’ perspectives. Conflicts among health care professionals can impair teamwork. Thus, health care professionals should work together as stroke rehabilitation teams to develop unified transfer guidelines that aid rehabilitation and avoid work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

Diversity and homeostasis of gut bacterial composition is highly associated with the pathogenesis of insulin dysfunction and type 1 diabetes melittus (T1D), hence emerged in parallel with the activation of autoimmunity. We aimed to study the bioactive potential of essential oil from Zanthoxylum myriacanthum var. pubescens Huang (Maqian) through computational approaches. Twelve chemical constituents derived from Maqian essential oil were docked with selected proteins (i.e., 3pig, 1kho, 7dmq, 4m4d, 2z65, 4glp, and 3fxi) in which are involved in gut microbiota modulation in T1D. Subsequently, the prediction of bioavailability properties of the small molecules were evaluated. Among all chemical constituents, the post-docking interaction analysis demonstrated that α-phellandrene exhibits the strongest binding affinity and induces gut microbiota modulation with β-fructofuranosidase from Bifidobacterium longum. The current result revealed the potential of 3-Carene and α-Pinene in inducing specific changes in gut microbiota downregulating Clostridium perfringens and quenching Leptotrichia shahii respectively. β-Pinene possess exceptionally strong binding affinity that effectively disrupt the interaction between lipopolysaccharide and its cognate receptors, while α-Phellandrene was exhibited the uppermost binding affinity with TLR4/MD2 and could likely target TLR4 stimulating lipopolysaccharide. Our results are the first to report on the gut microbiota modulation effects of α-Phellandrene and β-Phellandrene via actions on LPS binding to CD14 and the TLR4 co-receptor signaling. In conclusion, our findings based on computational approaches, small molecules from Maqian present as promising agents which could regulate inflammatory response and modulate gut microbiota in type 1 diabetes mellitus.

Within the scope of this research, we introduce a novel category of bi-univalent functions. Horadam polynomials are utilized to characterize these functions by utilizing series from the Poisson distribution of the Miller-Ross type. Functions from these new categories have been used to construct estimates for the Fekete-Szego functional, as well as estimates of the Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients |l2| and |l3|. These projections were created for the methods in each of these brand-new subclasses. We made some additional discoveries after, focusing on the traits that contributed to our initial findings.

To eliminate the hazardous pesticide 2,4-dichlorophenylacetic acid (2,4-D) through aqueous solutions, stacked nanorods known as hetero bimetallic organic frameworks (MOFs) of 2-methyl imidazole based on lanthanum and zinc are created. The research's convincing discoveries displayed that La/Zn-MOF is an actual adsorbent for the removal of 2,4-D through aqueous solutions. The La/Zn-MOF was investigated using a variability of techniques, with scanning electron microscope (SEM), powered X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) investigation. La/Zn-MOF has a significant pore capacity of 1.04 cm³/g and a comparatively large surface area of 897.69 m2/g. Our findings, which are quite intriguing, demonstrate that adsorption behavior is pointedly wedged by variations in pH. The present work aims to synthesize four series of phenothiazine incorporation Mannich bases. Therefore, 10-methyl-10H-phenothiazine-3-sulfonamide (4) which was subjected to react with some secondary amines and formaldehyde to give the Mannich bases 5a-f, and 6–13. Compound 13 was then subjected to react with some secondary amines and formaldehyde to give the corresponding Mannich bases 14a-f. In total, twenty-two new compounds were synthesized and evaluated for in vitro growth inhibition activity against P. aeruginosa, E. coli, and S. aureus. Among the tested compounds, compounds 3, 5a, 5c, 6, 12, 13, 14d, and 14e exhibited good activity with a MIC value (12.5 μg/mL), compounds 5b, 10, 11, 14a, and 14c exhibited strong activity against the growth of S. aureus with a MIC value (6.25 μg/mL), and compound 14b superior against S. aureus with a MIC value (3.125 μg/mL) compared to drug reference ciprofloxacin with MIC value (2 μg/mL). The molecular docking investigation revealed the presence of many derivatives with high binding affinities and distinct interaction patterns with the target protein. Derivatives 14a-e emerged as the most promising possibilities, displaying the greatest binding energies and a varied variety of interaction types, including hydrogen bonding and pi interactions, over different distances, with derivative 14b exhibiting the highest binding energy at S = −8.3093 kcal/mol. These derivatives displayed superior binding affinities and various interaction mechanisms with the target protein, suggesting that they have great promise as lead compounds for future development into therapeutic medicines.

Renewable energy represents an important alternative solution for many energy problems nowadays and a tool for a healthier environment by reducing carbon footprints resulting from burning fossil fuels. However, more work needs to be done towards maximizing the energy produced from renewable energy methods and making sure that the infrastructure used stays in service for a longer duration. Sand erosion phenomena is responsible for the degradation of the wind turbine blades and hence the decrease in their performance and life. In the current research, a numerical study of both performance and sand erosion of a Small-Scale Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine (SS-HAWT) is carried out. This study introduces new sights of instantaneous and forecasted erosion rates within the blade of the wind turbines. Three-dimensional E216 airfoil blades of radius 0.5 m are established according to blade element momentum theory. Sand particles with different mass flow rates of 0.001, 0.002 and 0.003 kg/s and uniform diameters of 50, 100 and 200 μm have been selected as eroding particles under two different average air velocities of 8 m/s and 10 m/s. The results indicate that the performance of wind turbines is enhanced as the flow separation at the suction side is shifted to the trailing edge. Furthermore, the optimum tip speed ratio is about 5 at an air velocity of 8 m/s with a power coefficient of 0.432. In terms of erosion findings, V-shaped scars are reported near the leading edge of the blades. In addition, the instantaneous erosion rate grows exponentially with the tip speed ratio. Therefore, the yearly prediction of maximum erosion depth at the optimum operating conditions is obtained to be 5.7 mm/year in some spots of the turbine blades.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) affects approximately 800,000 individuals globally each year. Despite advancements in HCC treatments, there is still a pressing need to identify new drugs that can combat resistance. One potential option is echinacoside, a natural caffeic acid glycoside with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, and antidiabetic properties. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the ability of echinacoside to exhibit antitumor activity against HCC in rats through ameliorating hepatic fibrosis and tumor invasion. Rats were given thioacetamide to induce HCC, and some were given 30 mg/kg of echinacoside twice a week for 16 weeks. The liver impairment was assessed by measuring serum α-fetoprotein (AFP) and examining liver sections stained with Masson trichrome or anti-transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 antibodies. The hepatic expression of mRNA and protein levels of TGF-β1, β-catenin, SMAD4, matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP9), phosphoinositide 3-kinases (PI3K), mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), connective tissue growth factor 2 (CCN2), E-Cadherin, platelets derived growth factor (PDGF)-B and fascin were also analyzed. Echinacoside improved the survival rate of rats by decreasing serum AFP and the number of hepatic nodules. Examination of micro-images indicated that echinacoside can reduce fibrosis. It also significantly decreased the expression of TGF-β1, β-catenin, SMAD4, MMP9, PI3K, mTOR, CCN2, PDGF-B, and fascin while enhancing the expression of E-Cadherin. In conclusion, echinacoside exhibits a protective effect against HCC by increasing survival rates and decreasing tumor growth. It also acts as an inhibitor of the hepatic tissue fibrosis pathway by reducing the expression of TGF-β1, β-catenin, SMAD4, PI3K, CCN2, PDGF-B and mTOR. Additionally, it prevents tumor invasion by suppressing MMP9 and fascin, and increasing the expression of E-Cadherin.

In this manuscript, we are motivated to investigate the reaction site-selectivity for the hydrazo thiazole derivatives (6a–c) with different types of active methylene groups such as malononitrile, and ethyl cyanoacetate. Based on their structural investigations and spectrum data, the results of these reactions have been established to be iminopyridazines (7a–c) and 6-oxopyridazine derivatives (8a–c). We tested the ability of the newly synthesized pyridazine derivatives to inhibit the microbes and COVID-19 proteins. Human coronavirus 229E (HCoV-229E) was used to investigate the antiviral efficacy of prepared compounds. Green monkey kidney (Vero-E6) cell lines were used to investigate MTT and cytopathic effect (CPE). The new 6-oxopyridazine derivatives (8a–c) revealed significant inhibitory efficacy and were capable of inhibiting the human coronavirus 229E. Moreover, the antimicrobial result showed that compounds iminopyridazine (7c) followed by iminopyridazine (7a) followed by iminopyridazine (7b) exhibited excellent antimicrobial properties toward all utilized strains, usually greater than that of common reference drugs, with MIC values ranging from 13 to 21 ppm, from 9 to 14 ppm, and from 8 to 19 ppm whereas, the remaining substances appeared to be promising effective. Structure-activity relationship (SAR) revealed that pyridazine scaffolds containing NH group, as well as substituted electron withdrawal group (Cl) in para-position for benzene ring attributed to thiazole moiety have the best activity. The current study successfully illustrated the possible application of heterocyclic derivatives with pyridazie nucleus including thiazole ring as the main compound in the development of dual antiviral (COVID-19) and antibacterial pharmaceuticals in the future.

Introduction: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) programs offer students’ academic coursework and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs). APPEs are crucial for students, providing hands-on training in practice settings and enhancing clinical skills and decision-making abilities. Nevertheless, successful APPEs relies mainly on preceptorship. Hence, this study aims to evaluate preceptorship during APPEs in one of the non-major cities in Saudi Arabia. Method: A Cross-Sectional survey study was conducted among 40 PharmD students at Taibah University's College of Pharmacy which involved two telephone interviews conducted seven months apart. The survey instrument consisted of 46 questions divided into eight sections which covered various aspects such as demographics, clarity of rotation objectives, clinical and communication skills, assessment of the training and learning opportunities, preceptors' feedback and evaluation, interaction with patients, healthcare providers, and preceptors. Descriptive statistics and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were utilized to analyze the collected data and to assess the internal consistency of the multi-item Likert questions. Results: Preceptors were predominantly male, aged 26–35, with extensive experience in pharmacy practice and mentorship, yet they lacked specialized post-graduate training or education certification. Almost 50% of the preceptors exhibited competence in pharmacotherapy-related science, demonstrated a willingness to teach students and acknowledged the students’ knowledge and skills. Furthermore, most of the students reported understanding of the APPEs objectives as the internship progressed. However, only 15% of late rotation participants strongly agreed on the safety of the learning environment, adequate time and regular contact with their preceptors. Starkly, only 3.0% of early rotation students and 6.1% of late rotation students strongly agreed with the improvement of their written and verbal communications. Conclusion: This study reported a noted decline in perceived learning support and environment safety as the APPEs’ year progressed. Feedback and communication skills development were areas of concern, with limited satisfaction reported. The study highlights regional disparities in training quality, emphasizing the need for structured learning experiences and re-evaluation of preceptorship. Future research should aim to better understand the challenges associated with APPEs in non-major cities and rural areas, thereby making significant contributions to the enhancement of the pharmacy profession.

Background: Tetrazole-based derivatives and their electronic structures have displayed interesting antimicrobial activity. Methods: The tetrazole-based hybrids linked with thiazole, thiophene and thiadiazole ring systems have been synthesized through various chemical reactions. The computational method DFT/B3LYP has been utilized to calculate their electronic properties. The antimicrobial effectiveness was investigated against representative bacterial and fungal strains. Additionally, the synthesized derivatives binding interaction was stimulated by docking program against PDB ID: 4URO as a model of the ATP binding domain of S. aureus DNA Gyrase subunit B. Results: The structures of the synthesized tetrazole-based derivatives were confirmed by IR, NMR, and Mass spectroscopic data. The DFT/B3LYP method showed that the thiadiazole derivatives 9a–c had lower ΔEH-L than the thiophenes 7a–c and thiazoles 5a–c. The hybrids 5b, 5c, and 7b exhibited proper antibacterial activity against Gram’s +ve bacterial strains (S. aureus and S. pneumonia), while 9a displayed potent activity towards Gram’s -ve bacterial strains (S. typhimurium and E. coli). Meanwhile, derivatives 5a-b, 7a, 7c, and 9c showed good effectiveness towards fungal strain (C. albicans). Conclusion: The study provides valuable tetrazole core-linked heterocyclic rings and opens the door to further research on their electrical characteristics and applications. Tetrazoles and thiazoles have antibacterial properties in pharmacological frameworks, making these hybrids potential lead molecules for drug development. The conclusion summarizes the data and suggests that the synthesized chemicals' interaction with a particular protein domain suggests focused biological activity.

Weeds are considered one of the most serious problems limiting global agricultural production. As a result, chemical herbicides have been extensively used for weed control. However, overuse of synthetic herbicides, has resulted in public concerns over the effect of herbicides on the health of the ecosystems and humans. In the food system, innovative approaches are needed to foster sustainable practices that preserve biodiversity, conserve habitats, and mitigate climate change factors. Thus, alternatives are required to control the weeds. This study aimed to determine the impact of some wild plants’ (Citrullus colocynthis, Euphorbia retusa, Retama raetam, Artemisia monosperma, Tamarix gallica, and Artemisia judaica) allelopathic potentials (at rates of 0, 15, 25, 35, and 50 g/L) on seed germination of selected local weeds (Portulaca oleracea, Amaranthus retroflexus, and Chloris barbata) collected from different locations in Tabuk region, Saudi Arabia. GC-MS analysis was used to evaluated the main compounds in the wild plants under study. The experimental design was completely randomized block design (CRBD) with three replicates. According to the results, phytochemical screening of the wild plants using GC-MS analysis showed a wide range of phytochemicals. Amaranthus retroflexus exhibited the highest germination rate in the control group. In addition, applying 5 g/L and 20 g/L of Citrullus colocynthis extracts had no discernible effect on the rate of germination of A. retroflexus seed; however, they were able to reduce the germination rate as compared to the control. As the extract concentration of Artemisia monosperma rose to 20 g/L, the germination rate of A. retroflexus dropped. Neither 35 g L-1 nor 50 g L-1 of A. monosperma extract inhibited the germinate of A. retroflexus. The germination rate of Portulaca oleracea decreased with increasing extract concentration of C. colocynthis. The extract of C. colocynthis at 50 g/L had the lowest rate. The germination rate of Chloris barbata decreased with increasing extract concentration of C. colocynthis. The highest germination rate of C. barbata was observed in control, followed by 5g/L, while no germination was observed at 20, 35, and 50 g/L of C. colocynthis extracts. A. retroflexus’s root length shrank when the extract concentration of C. colocynthis rose. A. retroflexus’s control sample had the most extended root length, followed by 5 and 20 g/L, respectively. C. colocynthis at 35 and 50 g/L showed no root elongation as this treatment inhibited radicle protrusion. High concentration of d-Glycero-d-galacto-heptose and pentane in C. colocynthis aqueous extract may be the cause of C. colocynthis’ ability to inhibit Chloris barbata germination. The entire C. barbata plant length decreased when treated with 5 g/L of C. colocynthis extract. No growth was seen at any of the higher C. colocynthis concentrations (20, 35, and 50 g/L). The present work revealed that cultivating allelopathic crops like the selected studied wild plants from the Tabuk region has a promising future as an antagonistic species in a biological weed control program or combined with integrated weed management in agricultural food production.

ABSTRACT The effectiveness of many plants has been reported as anthelmintic and anticoccidial because they possess active compounds. Excessive use of drugs has led to the emergence of drug-resistant Eimeria species. This study was designed to evaluate anticoccidial and anthelmintic activity of Achillea fragrantissima flower extract (AFFE) and leaves extract (AFLE). Infrared spectroscopy showed nine phytochemical compounds. Chemical examination revealed AF rich in phenols, flavonoids, and tannins. Flower extract showed the highest percentage inhibition of DPPH radical at 500 µg/mL (82.2%) compared to leaves extract (74.5%). AFFE and AFLE (100 mg/ml) caused paralysis and earthworm death by 13.67±1.96 and 15.25±2.48 min and 4.19±0.05 and 4.70±0.28 min, respectively, compared to mebendazole. In histological study, a clear defect was found in surface architecture of treated groups of worms with extract. At 96 h, significant inhibition (100%) of process sporulation for E. papillata oocyst was observed when exposed to AFFE (300 and 200 mg/mL), while AFLE was 98.4 and 96%, respectively. Additionally, amprolium, DettolTM, phenol, and formalin 5% showed different levels of inhibition. Results revealed anticoccidial and anthelmintic activities of AFFE and AFLE, which encourages conducting many in vivo studies to find an effective and cheap treatment.

Introduction: The Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic significantly affected higher education, necessitating a sudden shift to virtual classes in response to COVID-19 restrictions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This transition has highlighted the importance of exploring factors that may influence students’ Self-Efficacy (SE) in online learning. Aim: To identify the dimensions of perceived SE in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and examine the association between demographic characteristics and SE levels. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional, questionnairebased research design was conducted at the Department of Nursing, University of Tabuk, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia from January 2022 to May 2022, spanning a duration of five months. Data was collected through an online structured questionnaire, which included a demographic section and the Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Online Learning (SeQoL). A total of 250 complete responses were received. Data analysis was performed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 23.0. Mean and standard deviation were used to identify the mean SE in online learning. The Chi-square (χ2 ) test was used to explore the association between SE and demographic variables. Results: Out of the total 250 students, the majority were females, 184 (76%), with age range of 20-21 years. The study found that nearly half of the participants had a high level of SE (119, 47.6%), one-fourth had moderate SE (64, 25.6%), and 67 (26.8%) had a low SE level. The mean SE in online learning among the students was 150.8 with a Standard Deviation (SD) of 77.43, corresponding to a mean percentage of 60.3%. Abstract: Objectives: This study sought to translate the Keratoconus Outcomes Research Questionnaire (KORQ) and using it to measure and evaluate the quality of life of a sample of people with keratoconus in KSA. Methods: A cross-sectional online survey of patients with keratoconus, drawn by convenience sampling from across several regions of KSA, was conducted. The data were analysed with appropriate quantitative techniques. Results: Ninety-one patients with keratoconus (57.1% men; mean age = 33.25 ± 6.72 years) from five regions of KSA completed the survey. A total of 78.1% of the cases were diagnosed when the respondents were 15–29 years of age. Of the 91 participants, 11%, 27%, and 30% reported no, mild, and moderate interference with activities, whereas 17% and 15% reported substantial activity limitations. Regarding symptoms, 8%, 20%, and 24% reported no, mild, and moderate symptoms, whereas 23% and 25% reported substantial and extreme symptoms, respectively. Pearson rank correlation analysis indicated strong and statistically significant coefficients among the coded scores for symptoms, activity limitations and demographic factors. Regression analysis of the relationship between the scores for symptoms/activity limitations and demographic factors indicated that only the scores for visual acuity, eye with keratoconus, and geographic region were statistically significant at 5%. Visual acuity while wearing glasses or lenses and the odds of having poor QoL score were higher in both the left and right eyes [23.85 (95% CI, 4.21 to 135.24) and 6.0 (95% CI, 1.12 to 32.12), respectively]. Unknown visual acuity is associated with greater odds of higher annoyance scores [4.69 (95% CI, 1.06 to 20.62) and 13.63 (95% CI, 2.74 to 67.74), respectively]. Conclusion: Patients experience substantial impairments in their daily lives that could potentially be mitigated by addressing visual acuity, specific (left, right or both) eyes with keratoconus, and regional variables.

ABSTRACT Natural sources are microbiological species and medicinal plants, which could be potential new sources for development of drugs against different diseases. Coccidiosis affects many animals and leads to great economic losses. Drug-resistant strains of Eimeria species have emerged because of overuse and misuse of drugs. In vitro, using Eimeria papillata oocyst and earthworm (Eisenia fetida), we evaluated the anticoccidial and anthelmintic effect of Teucrium polium leaves extract (TPLE). Using infrared spectroscopy showed the presence of thirteen compounds for TPLE. Mebendazole (10 mg/mL) caused paralysis and earthworm death by 13.91±0.373 and 18.2±0.980 min, respectively, while, for TPLE (100 mg/ml) were 4.23±0.077 and 4.817±0.386 min. Also, the histological study revealed obvious surface architecture abnormality for treated worms. Moreover, TPLE (300 mg/mL) and formalin (5%) at 72, 96, and 120 hrs led to inhibition of sporulation by approximately 100% with marked deformities, while TPLE (200, 100, 50, and 25 mg/mL), amprolium, DettolTM, and phenol at 120 hr approximately 65.9%, 23.6%, 4.8%, 3.2%, 12.6%, 68.4%, and 46.6%, respectively. This pilot investigation revealed that TPLE possesses anticoccidial and anthelmintic activity, encouraging additional testing in vivo to create a new medication for the treatment of coccidiosis and helminthiasis.

ABSTRACT Natural products are safe environmentally friendly agents and have no negative impact on the environment, they can be used to combat parasitic diseases. Helminthiasis and coccidiosis are parasitic diseases that harm both health and the economy. This research aimed to see how Anethum graveolens leaves extract (AGLE) worked as an anti-parasitic modulator during oocyst sporulation of an Eimeria papillata infection. FT-IR phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of eight compounds. The time required to induce paralysis and death in worms at the highest concentration (200 mg/mL) was 4.57±0.26 and 5.22±0.10 min, respectively. In an in vitro study, AGLE (300 mg/ml) inhibited sporulation by approximately 100% after 72 and 96 hr. AGLE (200, 100, and 50 mg/ml), amprolium, DettolTM, and phenol induced variable inhibition levels at 96 hr of 5.54%, 1.01%, 37.33%, 81.33%, and 89.33%, respectively. Our findings suggest that AGLE has potent anthelmintic and anticoccidial properties that could be further developed into a novel therapeutic agent.

Recently, scientists have shown interest in utilizing biochar made from natural sources to enhance various photovoltaic technologies. In this study, Zinc-Bis-8-hydroxyquinoline (Zn-Hq2) was mixed with 10 % biochar obtained from red sea microalgae (Chlorophyta) using a microwave combustion process. This mixture was then used as a novel photoactive layer in a solar cell. The structural properties of Zn-Hq2@BC were analyzed by XRD, FTIR, HRTEM, and SEM. The analysis showed that Zn-Hq2@BC had evenly distributed nano-rods within the BC nanopores network, with widths ranging from 26.94 to 30.90 nm and lengths ranging from 136.43 to 192.38 nm. When measuring dark current density-voltage, it was found that Zn-Hq2@BC/n-Si showed better-rectifying characteristics compared to pristine Zn-Hq2/n-Si, with a higher rectification ratio. The results also showed that the current density and voltage at the maximum power point increased to 5.63 mA/cm2 and 0.45 V, respectively, due to the activation of the biochar. When exposed to light, the addition of approximately 10 % biochar resulted in a 15 % increase in fill factor and a 92 % increase in power conversion efficiency. This is because biochar helps introduce extra charge carriers into the material, thus improving charge transport and reducing recombination losses. These findings reveal the positive effects of microalgae-derived biochar and indicate potential applications of Zn-Hq2 in solar cells.

The outcomes proven herewith are extended and generalized to several fixed point findings of literature. Lastly, examples are provided to support the applicability of these outcomes.
