Introduction: The process of delivery through sectio caesarea is a complex event and causes anxiety. Anxiety that occurs can have a negative impact on mothers and babies born. This study aims to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) on the level of anxiety of mother's before sectio caesarea at Dinda's Hospital, Tangerang City. Methods: The research method uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group conducted on 36 respondents with a simple random sampling technique. Intrument of this study used Zung Self-Report Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) to measure mother's anxiety levels. Intervention delivered to the respondent by researcher a day before enter the operating room. Data processing using editing, coding, cleaning and analysis, to test the effect of PMR to mother's anxiety level, data analysis used independent paired T-test. Results: Result of the analysis show that the provision of PMR techniques can reduce score anxiety levels by 8.2, from 58.3 before intervention to 50.1. The results show that independent paired t-test obtained p-value of 0.001 which means that there is a significant effect between the level of anxiety of the mothers before SC surgery compare with control group. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of sexual relationship after a nurse-led psychosexual intervention for Indonesian cervical cancer survivors and their husbands. Design: A qualitative descriptive study was conducted. Participants and methods: Sixteen cervical cancer survivors and their husbands who had participated in the nurse-led psychosocial intervention were invited for semi-structured in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis. Findings: Four themes were identified: (1) lessening suffering; (2) supporting each other to regain sexual life (2a) finding reasons to do or undo sexual intercourse, (2 b) "How can I bring back my wife's sexual desire?," (2c) "Finally, I get to a climax;" (3) getting more intimate and caring about each other, and (4) "Now I'm getting more confident." Cervical cancer survivors and their husbands experienced overall positive outcomes in their sexual and intimate relationship after a psychosexual intervention. Conclusions: The psychosexual intervention helped the survivors and their husbands adapt and manage sexual dysfunction following cancer treatment. Nurses and other healthcare professionals should initiate psychosexual care by assessing the concerns and needs of women diagnosed with cervical cancer, as an integral part of their care plan. Fear of cancer recurrence (FCR) is the most common psychological issue amongst gynecological cancer survivors, and yet it remains unexplored, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. Hence, this study aimed to identify the predictive factors of FCR among gynecological cancer survivors in Indonesia. A descriptive cross-sectional design was used. Women diagnosed with gynecological cancer, who had completed primary treatment were recruited from a referral hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected using a demographic and disease-related questionnaire and the Fear of Cancer Recurrence Inventory. Pearson's correlations test, t-test, and linear regression analysis were performed. A total of 114 women participated in this study. Age was the strongest predictor of FCR in the domains of severity, psychological distress, insights, and reassurance. Marital status and type of treatment strongly predicted the FCR domains of functional impairment and coping strategies, respectively (P < .05). The findings of this study indicate the importance of patient characteristics while addressing the issue of FCR among gynecological cancer survivors. Further studies aimed at understanding FCR among gynecological cancer survivors may provide insight into the aspects of this condition that necessitate more attention. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
