Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is widely spread due to its strong infectivity by close contact via droplets or skin touch. With fever or cough as the first symptom, some patients suffering from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) quickly progressed to serious condition, which severely threatened the health of patients. As immunodeficiency is a significant factor of the poor condition, the relationship between COVID-19 and T-lymphocyte subsets will be summarized. The paper is written to indicate the clinical significance of T-lymphocyte subsets in the monitoring and treatment of COVID-19. It is suggested that the subgroup levels of T-lymphocyte subsets should be dynamically monitored during the course of disease for better understanding the condition and taking positive intervention, which will provide guidance to control immune inflammatory cascade and hold back the development of critical situation. Training innovative talents is an important task of colleges and universities in the new era. Based on the magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) model， the dynamic mesh method (DMM) was used to track arc-molten pool interface， and a mathematical model for coupled fluid flow， heat transfer， solidification/melting and dynamic interface tracking during TIG welding process was established. Firstly， a free-burning arc was simulated to obtain the accurate arc parameters， such as the speed， temperature and pressure. Then， the four driving forces of electromagnetic， thermal buoyancy， drag and Marangoni were validated respectively. Considering the arc-molten pool interaction and tracking the interface from pressure balance， the TIG welding process for the 304 stainless steel was simulated and the depression in the pool center and the lifting on the pool periphery caused by plasma shock were obtained. It is shown that the proposed model can simulate the arc-pool interface and molten pool shape more accurately in comparison with the experimental data. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper studies the optimization design problem for a repairable multi-state series-parallel system based on different system availability improvement methods. Assumes that the system components have constant failure rates and repair rates, system availability is improved according to reduction factor, increase factor, hot standby redundancy, warm standby redundancy and cold standby redundancy methods, and an optimization design model of improving availability methods is proposed. The optimization design scheme of total investment cost minimization with the constraints of availability, volume and weight is given. Aiming at working characteristics of different zones in cooling tower， a three-dimensional numerical model of counter flow natural draft wet cooling tower with flue gas injection was established based on the theories of heat/mass transfer and flow between air and water. The motion of continuous and dispersed phases in cooling tower was investigated by Euler-Lagrange approach and the effect of cooling performance by setting up flue gas injection had also been taken into account. Meanwhile， the working performance of cooling tower under diverse crosswind velocities was analyzed， in contrast with that in a traditional cooling tower without flue gas injection. The results showed that the setup of flue gas injection had positive effect on the working efficiency of cooling tower. The crosswind decreased the drop degree of cooling water， which was harmful to gas emission. Moreover， crosswind could also increase corrosion drastically near the tower outlet. In order to obtain the bubble size distribution in the mold, a water model system was developed with air blowing through a circumferential inlet chamber made of specially-coated mullite porous brick, which is used as the actual upper nozzle. The transient bubble distributions in the mold were captured by a high-speed video camera under a laser light beam. Then, the location and size of bubbles were measured using the image analysis software of ImageJ. The results show that the average bubble size increases with increasing the water flow rate and SEN immersion depth, decreases with increasing the gas blowing rate and nozzle port angle. The initial bubble size obtained from the mullite brick is small and uniform. The bubble size along the horizontal direction of wide wall increases first and then decreases. With the increase of water flow rate, the bubble distribution is more dispersed. With the increase of gas blowing rate, there is no obvious difference for the bubble distribution; however, the bubble size was increased. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To observe the structural changes of dentin irradiated with Nd: YAG laser under different parameters and the changes of calcium-phosphorus ration, and evaluate the optimal parameters of Nd: YAG laser in treating dentin hypersensitivity (DH). Methods The model of dentin hypersensitivity was established by acid etching method. Samples were irradiated with Nd: YAG laser under different parameters. The morphological alterations of the dentin surfaces and Ca-P ratio were examined with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) combined with energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis. Results Compared with those in the control group, dentinal tubules could be blocked partially or totally with no cracks in A-C (30mj, 5Hz), (30mj, 10Hz) and (50mj, 5Hz) groups. Dentinal tubules could be entirely blocked but with cracks in D (50mj, 10Hz) and E (80mj, 5Hz) groups. Dentin was carbonized in F (80mj, 10Hz) group. Compared with that in the control group, Ca-P ratio was decreased significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion The suitable energy parameter of Nd: YAG laser in treating dentin hypersensitivity is (30mj, 10Hz) and (50mj, 5Hz). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
