In recent years, the burning of large amounts of fossil energy has led to a dramatic increase in the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere, causing a significant rise in global temperatures due to the greenhouse effect. To understand the research progress of CO2 sequestration in solid waste, an overview of the most typical solid waste (fly ash, steel slag, gypsum) mineralized storage of CO2 by reviewing the current was presented. The results show that these three solid wastes have the advantages of high reactivity, large storage capacity, and high conversion rate. Compared to the direct dry carbonation route, the indirect carbonation route has the advantages of mild reaction conditions, high mineralization efficiency, and high purity. Therefore, the direct wet carbonation and indirect carbonation routes should be given priority in the future. The catalysts are mainly used to increase the reaction rate and mineralization efficiency. The main influencing factors are particle size, temperature, CO2 pressure, pH, reaction time, stirring rate, and liquidto- solid ratio. In addition, experiments are required to determine the optimum reaction conditions. It can be seen that mineral carbonation for CO2 fixation is the most promising technology for tackling significant changes in global temperatures and “waste to waste”. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Sulfuric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid and perchloric acid are usually used as catalysts for the preparation of organic peroxides. Due to the corrosion of strong acid to the equipment, the catalyst can not be reused, the amount of waste water after treatment is large, and the post-treatment cost is very high. The preparation of organic peroxides with heterogeneous catalysts has been paid more and more attention. Heterogeneous catalysts have the advantages of high activity, good stability and reusability, simple posttreatment, less equipment corrosion, and less environmental pollution. In this paper, on the basis of a brief introduction of the homogeneous preparation process of organic peroxides, the heterogeneous catalysts for the preparation of organic peroxides, including ion exchange resins, molecular sieves, phase transfer catalysts, metal oxides, polymer carrier catalysts and carbon-based support catalysts are summarized. The reactors and preparation processes are discussed, and the development direction of heterogeneous catalytic synthesis of organic peroxides is described. The study has strong reference value and guiding significance for understanding the progress in the preparation of organic compounds by heterogeneous catalysis, developing heterogeneous catalysts with excellent performance, and optimizing the production process of organic peroxides. Propylene is a basic chemical raw material and the demand of which has been increasing in recent years, however, the traditional process such as steam cracking and catalytic cracking cannot meet the demand of propylene. Propane dehydrogenation （PDH） process has attracted extensive attention due to its wide sources of raw materials, high selectivity of propylene and easy separation of products. Traditional PDH catalysts are Pt-Sn/Al2O3 and CrOx /Al2O3, however, the platinum-based catalyst is expensive, and the chromium based catalyst has high toxicity. The bulk metal oxides （ZrO2, Al2O3, TiO2, WO3, Eu2O3 and Gd2O3） have the advantages of high intrinsic activity, low price, non-toxicity and environmental protection, exhibiting good application prospects. Based on this, this paper reviews the research progress of propane dehydrogenation from two aspects： the mechanism of PDH and the regulation of structure and properties for bulk metal oxide catalysts. It is summarized that coordinative unsaturated metal cation （M ） is the main dehydrogenation active site, and its concentration can be regulated by crystallite size, crystal phase, metal doping, noble metal nanoparticles loading, reducing gas （H2, CO） pretreatment, and so on. Finally, it is pointed out that the coupling of other dehydrogenation active sites （metals or metal oxides） on the basis of bulk metal oxides is an effective way to further improve the catalytic performance of PDH. Objective The purpose of preparing solid base catalyst by pinewood template method is to change the structure of the catalyst and improve the performance of the catalyst. Methods CaAl2xO3x+1 solid base catalyst was prepared by impregnating, drying and roasting using calcium acetate monohydrate, aluminum acetate dihydrate as raw materials and pinewood sawdust as template. The effects of Ca/Al molar ratio, calcination temperature and calcination time on the catalyst activity were investigated by single factor test. The catalysts and precursors were characterized by TG, XRD and SEM. Results The optimum conditions for preparing CaAl2xO3x+1 solid base catalyst were as follows: molar ratio of Ca/Al 4: 1, calcination temperature 900°C, calcination time 7 h. When the temperature of catalyst precursor exceeds 900 °C, the decomposition basically ends. The crystal phase structure of CaAl2xO3x+1 solid base catalyst is similar to that of pinewood sawdust template. It consists of a submicron particle with smooth surface composed of a large amount of amorphous substances (Al2O3, CaO or their compounds) and a small amount of crystals (CaO). Objectives The aims are as follows: (1) Improving the selective absorption effect of amine solution and reducing the energy consumption of the unit; (2) Improving the quality of liquid sulfur products and reducing the SO2 mass concentration in emission flue gas; (3) Realizing the domestic application of catalysts. Methods Guided by data simulation, combined with field tests, the unit operation parameters were optimized, and the 2-layer absorption tower tray was removed. Results The product gas yield increased by more than 1.3 percentage points, the electric power consumption of the amine circulating pump motor decreased by 12. 46%, and the volume of amine regeneration steam decreased by 11%. Through the technical transformation such as liquid sulfur bubble degassing, liquid sulfur pool exhaust gas into Claus furnace, and hot nitrogen sulfur blowing, the quality of liquid sulfur products is stable and up to standard, and the SO2 mass concentration of emission flue gas is lower than 200 mg/m³. Through the development and application of domestic hydrolysis, sulfur production and hydrogenation catalysts, good application results have been achieved, which is worthy of popularization and application. A high specific surface and porous Ni MOF was prepared by chemical method. The catalytic effect of Ni MOF with different contents on the hydrogen storage kinetics of Mg90Ce5Y5 alloy was also systematically investigated by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Sievert volumetric methods. The results showed that the addition of Ni MOF substantially improved the ball milling efficiency of Mg90Ce5Y5, and the particle size was reduced to less than half of original samples, which improved kinetics of hydrogen absorption and desorption of the alloy, and effectively reduced the activation energy of hydrogen absorption and desorption of samples. With the addition of 3% Ni MOF, it takes 2 min to absorb 90% of the maximum hydrogen absorption at the pressure of 3 MPa and 473 K. It takes only 30 min for complete hydrogen desorption at 573 K, which is 10 times faster than the Mg90Ce5Y5. The activation energy is reduced to 69.1 kJ/mol. However, as the added content increases, the maximum hydrogen storage capacity of the composite is significantly reduced. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

By enhancing the electron mobility of materials, the conductivity of materials can be improved, the process of redox reaction in the catalytic process can be accelerated, and the catalytic activity can be greatly improved. Therefore, the preparation of high electron mobility catalytic materials has become a research hotspot. Although lots of studies have recognized the importance of enhancing the electron mobility of catalytic materials for catalytic performance, the current research is still insufficient, especially the lack of unified understanding of the internal mechanism of how the electron mobility of solid catalysts affects the catalytic performance of materials. It is urgent to reveal the structure-activity relationship between electron mobility and catalytic materials to realize the controllable preparation of catalytic materials. Herein, we have systematically summarized the different preparation methods, chemical and physical mechanisms, characteristic analysis, and challenges of high electron transfer catalytic materials and looks forward to the future development direction. Additionally, the influences and limitations of the element characteristics, electrical conductivity, and spatial characteristics of the materials on the preparation of high electron migration catalytic materials are highlighted. Biochar is a neutral carbon-rich material obtained from pyrolysis of biomass. It is not only an environmentally friendly improved means of adsorption and degradation, but also provides a feasible idea for carbon capture and storage. This review focuses on several commonly used modification methods of biochar, summarizes its catalytic applications and action mechanisms in the removal of organic and inorganic pollutants, multiphase catalysis, photocatalysis and microbial fuel cell electrodes, puts forward the challenges and practical difficulties of biochar and its modified materials in catalysis, and looks forward to the future research direction. In order to improve the catalytic efficiency of metal catalysts for borohydride fuel cells, three-dimensional nano-porous Ag/NiO composite catalysts were prepared by dealloying method, with Al-Ag and Al-Ag-Ni as precursor alloys.On the premise of reducing the amount of Ag used, the catalyst has significantly improved its performance of electrocatalytic sodium borohydride oxide by virtue of the addition of NiO and its structural advantages.Among them, the nano porous Ag/NiO catalyst obtained after dealloying the precursor alloy Al90Ag9Ni1 has the best performance in the performance test of electrocatalytic oxidation of sodium borohydride, with a peak current density of 158.72 mA· mg-1,and a catalytic performance improvement of 35% compared to the nano porous Ag(116.88 mA·mg-1).This catalyst provides a feasible improvement method for improving the activity of sodium borohydride fuel cell catalysts and reducing costs. In recent years, an increasing number of researchers have attempted to link catalytic activity to the acidity and basicity of the oxygen vacancies in catalysts. A deeper understanding of the role played by oxygen vacancy defects in determining catalytic properties and charge carrier dynamics by combining Lewis acid-base active sites can provide valuable insights for the rational development of more efficient catalysts. Oxygen vacancies are the most common defect in transition metal oxides, and catalysts containing oxygen vacancies are closely related to how surface acidity and basicity affect the adsorption, reaction, and desorption processes of reactants, intermediates, and solid surface products. To this end, the location and the acid-base of oxygen vacancies have always played a central role in the history of multiphase catalysis, and the study of the construction of Lewis acid-base sites based on oxygen vacancy defects in catalysts is of great significance for the performance enhancement of various molecular activation and catalytic conversion reactions. The surface properties of multiphase catalysts will largely determine the electronic structure of the surface active sites. Therefore, this paper reviews the research on the oxygen vacancy-containing solid catalysts with Lewis acid-base sites, explores the effects of the corresponding active sites on the catalytic efficiency, stability and chemoselectivity of the catalysts, and summarizes their relevant applications in the field of photocatalysis. The catalyst of anthraquinone hydrogenation is generally composed of a carrier and an active metal.This article reviews the recent research progress of anthraquinone hydrogenation catalysts on the preparation and modification of supports, selection of active metals, loading methods, and addition of additives.According to the analysis, compared with the commonly used catalysts, the catalysts prepared by the modified or added additives have higher activity and selectivity.Taking Pd as the active metal and optimizing the loading process, the highly dispersed anthraquinone hydrogenation catalyst can be obtained.The addition of the second metal can effectively improve the catalytic performance through the electronic effect and morphologic effect.The optimization of the performance of the support, the improvement of the loading efficiency of the active metal Pd, and the search for alternative metals are the key directions for the future research of anthraquinone hydrogenation catalysts. From the perspective of rare earth modified reforming catalyst support for hydrogen production, the key principles, existing problems and improvement methods of rare earth modified mesoporous oxides (mesoporous Al2O3, mesoporous SiO2 molecular sieves) and ore-type composite metal oxides (perovskite types, hydrotalcite types, pyrochlore types) are emphatically expounded. This article reviews the synthesis and application of dimethyl oxalate (DMO). The development process of alcohol and acid esterification, liquid phase coupling and gas phase coupling in the synthesis of DMO are describing respectively, and the catalyst and catalytic mechanism of CO gas phase coupling to DMO are summarized in detail. The technological advantages of DMO in the hydrogenation of methyl glycolate, ethylene glycol and ethanol are reviewed, and the main challenges of this synthesis path are pointed out, such as the precise regulation of target products and the reduction of CO2 emissions. 生物质超临界水制氢 (supercritical water gasification, SCWG) 以超临界水为介质通过热化学方式将生物质中的 有机物转化为氢气等能源气体。相较于传统制氢方式, SCWG 过程具有反应速度快、氢气选择性好、副产物少等优点, 是一种高效、经济、清洁的生物质处理技术。该研究主要围绕 SCWG 过程中的影响因素进行系统地分析, 介绍了超临界 水特殊的物理化学性质, 详细阐述了生物质主要成分如纤维素、半纤维素和木质素在 SCWG 过程中的反应机理, 以及试 验装置、原料类型和浓度、反应温度、停留时间、压力等工艺因素对 SCWG 的影响。研究发现纤维素占比较高的作物气 化效果更好, 低浓度的进料有利于气化效率和碳气化效率的提升, 提高装置升温速率、适当增加反应温度和停留时间能 够增加氢气产率, 过大的压力会形成“溶剂笼”效应降低氢气产量。对不同类型反应系统研究表明, 间歇式反应装置虽 然结构简单、操作方便但也存在物料与催化剂混合不均匀、不能实现连续化生产而不适用于工业化推广, 连续式反应装 置虽面领着堵塞等问题, 但具有性能好、效益高的优点, 是工业化推广的发展方向。对 SCWG 主要应用的催化剂进行讨 论发现, 均相催化剂虽然具有催化效果但具有较强腐蚀性, 非均相催化剂因其具有高催化活性、易回收、稳定性好等优 点更适用于大规模 SCWG 生产过程。同时还研究了金属催化剂酸度在催化过程中的影响, 酸度越高, 在 SCWG 过程中 积碳会越明显, 通过添加 Cu、Ce、Co、La 等合适的第二金属作为促剂可以改变催化剂性能, 增加催化剂使用寿命, 提 高氢气选择性。未来应针对 SCWG 的试验装置、高效催化剂及经济性分析等核心技术开展研究, 加速 SCWG 的工业化 推广, 实现经济、安全、绿色、高效的氢能供给。该研究期望加深对生物质 SCWG 理解, 为日后研究提供理论指导。 [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The growing demand for energy is driving the development of renewable and efficient energy materialsdue to the high consumption of fossil fuels. Hydrogen is considered as a potential energy carrier because of its abundant earth sources and clean burning. The preparation of clean and renewable hydrogen by hydrolyzing ammonia borane is one of the effective ways to solve energy problems. The development of efficient and safe catalysts has been the focus and hotspot in this field. Metal-organic framework materials (MOFs) are widely used in ammonia borane hydrolysis for hydrogen production due to their unique structural composition. This paper focuses on the role of MOFs materials in catalyst preparation and summarizes the role of different MOFs materials in catalytic hydrogen production by ammonia borane hydrolysis. The Cu-β-SBA-15 molecular sieve catalyst was synthesized by in-situ synthesis method in this study.Cu-β-SBA-15 Composite molecular sieve was prepared by loading metal Cu on the composite Hβ-SBA-15 molecular sieve, which is produced from the Hβ molecular whose pores have been expanded by alkali treatment.And then the synthesis of diphenylmethane was carried out over the Cu-β-SBA-15 composite molecular sieve catalyst.The effects of Cu loading amount, impregnation temperature, impregnation time, roasting temperature and roasting time on the catalytic performance of synthesis of diphenylmethane were evaluated by the conversion of benzyl alcohol in the reaction of benzene with benzyl alcohol and the selectivity and yield of dibenzyl methane.The results showed that β-SBA-15 composite zeolite has large specific surface area, pore volume and mesoporous aperture; the pore size of β-SBA-15 composite zeolite decreased but the reactive activation and the selectivity in the synthesis of diphenylmethane was improved, when Cu is loaded in the zeolite.The Cu-β-SBA-15 composite zeolite catalyst, which was impregnated at 42 ℃ for 3 h and roasted at 550 ℃ for 5 h, revealed the optimal catalytic performance for the synthesis of diphenylmethane from benzene and benzyl alcoho. Objective Solve the catalyst support issue of sulfur dioxide selective hydrogenation process for sulfur recovery unit, and low alumina content and high sodium content of traditional activated alumina carrier. Methods Using aluminum isopropoxide as raw material, pseudo boehmite powder was prepared in the laboratory by alcohol aluminum method, activated alumina support was prepared by extrusion, and clover-type sulfur dioxide selective hydrogenation catalyst for preparation of sulfur was prepared by loading the active metal. Results The bulk density of the catalyst was 0.55-0.65 g/mL, the specific surface area was greater than or equal to 250 m²/g, the pore volume was greater than or equal to 0.4 mL/g, the mass fraction of alumina was greater than or equal to 95%, and the content of sodium oxide was less than or equal to 100×10-6. When the volume ratio of H2S to SO2 was 20, H2 concentration was 2%, and temperature was 200 ℃, the hydrogenation conversion rate of sulfur dioxide was 95.13%, and the selectivity of sulfur dioxide to elemental sulfur was 91.22%. Conclusions The catalyst has good activity and can be used in sulfur recovery unit of SO2 selective hydrogenation process instead of imported catalyst. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
