Bu makalenin asıl amacı alfa Kenmotsu psödo metrik manifoldlar üzerinde bazı eğrilik özelliklerini incelemektir. Özellikle bu tür manifoldlar üzerinde lokal simetri, global ϕ-simetri ve lokal ϕ-simetri gibi tensör koşulları bazı ek şartlar altında göz önüne alınmıştır. Ayrıca, η-Einstein ve Einstein manifoldlar için gerek ve yeter koşullar çalışılmıştır. Bundan başka, ξ-kesit ve ϕ-kesit eğrilikleri ile ilgili bazı sonuçlar alfa Kenmotsu psödo metrik manifoldlar üzerinde verilmiştir. Son olarak, makale alfa Kenmotsu psödo metrik manifoldlar için açıklayıcı bir örnekle sonlandırılmıştır., The aim of this paper is to investigate some curvature properties on alpha Kenmotsu pseudo metric manifolds. In particular, the tensor conditions such as locally symmetry, globally ϕ-symmetry and locally ϕ-symmetry under some additional conditions on such manifolds are considered. Also, the necessary and sufficient conditions for η-Einstein and Einstein manifolds are studied. Furthermore, some results are related to ξ-sectional and ϕ-sectional curvatures on alpha Kenmotsu pseudo metric manifolds are given. Finally, the paper is concluded with an illustrative example for alpha Kenmotsu pseudo metric manifolds.

In this study, a novel 4D chaos model is introduced to improve an existing chaotic system. Equations of the chaos model have been written. The dynamical analyses of the system have been executed by means of phase portraits, equilibrium points, eigenvalues, compound structure, and initial conditions. MATLAB/Simulink model has been designed to analyze load which is driven by an induction machine against chaos. Finally, the states of induction machine that is with and without chaotic load is compared.

Cats and dogs have been living with humans for centuries in various conditions and for various reasons. Various factors such as different housing conditions, owner’s expectations and attitudes may affect the well-being of domestic animals. It is the responsibility of Veterinarians to ensure that the environment meets their needs, which further determines the welfare levels of animals. In order to meet the needs of different pets, the products used for pets should be designed in line with these needs. It can be suggested that products that fully meet the needs of pets are possible only with a multidisciplinary education model including design and veterinary behavior. In this study, a multidisciplinary education model was used for the 3rd-grade industrial design students at the Department of Industrial Product Design, Middle East Technical University in the autumn 2018-2019 Semester to develop design solutions for improving the well-being of cats and dogs as well as their owners. 30 design students attended the program. They divided into 9 teams according to the species, and environment they chose. Two lecturers from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine gave lectures about the emotional needs of dogs and cats to the design students and supervised them during the design process. As a result, significant improvements were detected in the awareness of the industrial design students of biological, emotional and behavioral needs of cats and dogs. Thirty different products with ideas targeting different problems such as dental health, drug application, grooming were designed by different teams. Most of the end products were scored between good (75-79) and outstanding (90-100) by the instructors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The results of this study show that multidisciplinary education and the exchange of information between different professions have a significant impact on product development success to improve the quality of life in animals., Kedi ve köpekler yüzyıllardır çeşitli koşullarda ve çeşitli sebeplerden dolayı insanlarla birlikte yaşamaktadırlar.Farklı barınma koşulları, sahiplerinin beklenti ve tutumları gibi çeşitli faktörler evcil hayvanların refahını etkileyebilir. Evcil hayvanların ihtiyaçlarını tam olarak karşılayan ürünlerin sadece tasarım ve hayvan davranışlarını içeren multidisipliner bir eğitim modeli ile mümkün olduğu düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi Endüstriyel Ürün Tasarımı Bölümü 3. sınıf öğrencileri için 2018-2019 güz döneminde, kedi ve köpeklerin yanı sıra sahiplerinde refahını iyileştirmek için tasarım çözümleri geliştirmek amacıyla çok disiplinli bir eğitim modeli kullanılmıştır. Eğitim programına 30 tasarım öğrencisi katılmıştır. Öğrenciler seçtikleri türlere göre örneğin kediler, köpekler ve insanlar (evcil hayvan sahipleri) ve çevreye göre örneğin ev, barınak veya kampüs olmak üzere 9 takıma ayrıldılar. Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesinden iki öğretim elemanı tasarım öğrencilerine köpeklerin ve kedilerin duygusal ihtiyaçları hakkında dersler ve tasarım süresi boyunca da danışmanlık hizmeti vermişlerdir. Sonuç olarak, endüstriyel tasarım öğrencilerinin kedi ve köpeklerin biyolojik, duygusal ve davranışsal ihtiyaçlarını konularındaki bilinçlerinde önemli gelişmeler tespit edilmiştir. Farklı ekipler tarafından diş sağlığı, ev ortamında ilaç uygulaması, tımar gibi farklı sorunları hedefleyen fikirleri olan otuz farklı ürün tasarlanmıştır. Son ürünlerin çoğu Veteriner Fakültesi öğretim üyeleri tarafından iyi (75-79) ve olağanüstü (90-100) arasında puanlanmıştır. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları Multidisipliner eğitim ile farklı meslekler arası bilgi alışverişinin, hayvanlarda yaşam kalitesini iyileştirmek için ürün geliştirme başarısı üzerinde önemli bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermiştir.

In the study, the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete (RC) structures was investigated considering effect of effective bending rigidity under seismic loads. The cross-sectional effective bending rigidity (EIeff) of structural members was evaluated using different approaches of seismic design codes. The values of EIeff given in Eurocode-8, Turkish Seismic Design Code (TSDC) 2007 and Turkish Building Earthquake Code (TBEC) 2018, were used in a case study and compared with the initial (uncracked) section rigidity. The nonlinear single mode pushover analysis was carried out to determine the nonlinear performance of a RC frame structure model in SAP2000. In nonlinear pushover analysis, the lumped plasticity and plastic hinge theory were used to define nonlinear behavior of the structural members. The plastic characteristics of structural members were also evaluated using moment-curvature relationship in Xtract. The dimension of cross-sections and reinforcing details were chosen considering the design requirements of TSDC 2007 and TBEC 2018. The structural performance of the RC frame models with different stiffnesses was compared with performance of the model in which initial rigidity used. The base reaction force vs. top displacement demand, story drifts, and plastic hinge mechanisms obtained from the analyses were selected as comparison criteria. It was observed in the analysis results that a remarkable difference occurred in force and displacement demand between the models using the different effective bending stiffnesses.

Özet: İleri ve geri saçılmalı sonlu homojen bir dilimde tek enerjili nötronların özdeğer spektrumu için nötron transport denklemi nümerik olarak çözülmüştür. Transport denklemindeki nötron saçılmasını temsilen, ileri-geri-izotropic (FBI) saçılma fonksiyonu tercih edilmiştir. Daha sonra, çift-mertebeli Gauss-Legendre kuadratür seti ile integral dönüşüm tekniği kullanılarak transport denklemi diskret-ordinatlar haline dönüştürülmüştür. Son olarak, faklı saçılma, ileri ve geri saçılma parametreleri kullanılarak zayıf yutulmalı bir ortamdan kuvvetli saçılmalı bir ortama kadar özdeğerler hesaplanmıştır. Bütün hesaplamalarda Gauss-Legendre kuadratür setleri kullanılmış ve hesaplanan özdeğerler çizelgelerde verilmiştir., The neutron transport equation is solvednumerically for monoenergetic neutrons in a finite homogeneous slab withbackward and forward scattering for the eigenvalue spectrum. Theforward-backward-isotropic (FBI) scattering kernel is chosen for representingthe neutron scattering in transport equation. Then, the transport equation isconverted into a discrete ordinates form by using the integral transformtechnique with the even-order Gauss-Legendre quadrature set. Finally, theeigenvalues are calculated for a medium from weakly absorbing to highlyscattering condition using various values of the scattering, backward andforward scattering parameters. Gauss-Legendre quadrature sets are used for allcalculations and the calculated eigenvalues are given in the tables.

Amaç: Spinal cerrahi sonrası gelişen epidural fibrosis dura ve spinal köklerin çevresini sıkıca sararak orta ve uzun vadede cerrahinin balşarı şansını azaltan nedenlerden biridir. Bu nedenle, bu deneysel çalışmada, ratlarda local ve sistemik dekspanthenol uygulamasının epidural fibrosis oluşumu üzerine etkisini karşılaştırmak amaç edinilmiştir.Yöntemler: Yirmi sekiz adet sıçan rastlantısal olarak 4 eşit gruba ayrıldı (Kontrol, spongostan, local dekspanthenol ve sistemik dekspanthenol) ve bütün sıçanların torakal 11 düzeyine laminektomi yapıldı. Local olarak dexpanthenol 500 mg/kg dan spongostan ile uygulandı. Sistemik olarak dexpanthanol, 500 mg/kg dan günde bir defa olmak üzere 3 hafta boyunca uygulandı. Epidural fibrosis, araknoid tutulum, fibroblast hücre sayısı, vasküler endotelyal büyüme faktörü ve hidroksiprolini çeriği değerlendirildi.Bulgular: Epidural fibrosis derecesi, fibroblast hücre sayısı ve hidroksiprolin düzeyi istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde sistemik dekspanthenol grubunda düşüktü (P=0,025).Sonuç: Dekspanthenol epidural fibrosisi azaltmak için potansiyel bir ajan olabilir, fakat bu etkinin ortaya çıkması için birden fazla sayıda verilmesi gereklidir., Aim: Epidural fibrosis, which develops after spinal surgery, is one of the factors which reduce the chances of successful surgery in the medium and long term by tightly surrounding the dura and spinal roots. In this experimental study, the aim was to compare the effects of local and systemic administration of dexpanthenol on epidural fibrosis formation in rats.Methods: Twenty-eight rats were randomly divided into 4 equal groups (control, Spongostan, local dexpanthenol and systemic dexpanthenol) and laminectomy was performed at the T11 level. Local dexpanthenol (500mg/kg) was administered with Spongostan, and systemic dexpanthenol (500 mg/kg) was administered once a day for three weeks. Epidural fibrosis, arachnoidal involvement, fibroblast cell count, vascular endothelial growth factor, and hydroxyproline levels were evaluated. Results: The grade of epidural fibrosis, fibroblast cell counts, and hydroxyproline levels were significantly lower in the systemic dexpanthenol groups (P=0.025).Conclusion: Dexpanthenol may be used as potential agent for reducing epidural fibrosis. However, it should be administered more than once for it to take effect.

WOS: 000505058700028 As a first contact point of a company with customers, call centers are important to keep customers happy and satisfied. There are key performance metrics and other minimum requirements that a Call Center has to meet. In order to improve service quality, performance metrics are monitored by routine daily calls. In this study, the performance metrics of an inbound hospital call center located in Samsun were studied to measure and understand the variability in performance metrics. The control charts were used to detect assignable causes of variability in average speed of answer, abandonment rate and service level so that necessary precautions can be taken to improve process. Since autocorrelation was recognized in data, Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model was used to model correlative structure and then control chart were applied to the independent and identically distributed stream of residuals. ARIMA (6,1,1) for all performance metrics was determined as the best time series model to eliminate autocorrelation. The results showed that the call center process was not under statistical control and sources of variability should be investigated and eliminated.

Türkçe dersinde kullanılan ders kitapları, Türkçe öğretiminin en önemli gereçleridir. Öğrenciler, yaş ve bilgi düzeyleri açısından özelliklerine uygun bilişsel ve duyuşsal beceri alanlarında zenginleştirilmiş vasıflı metinlerden oluşan ve Türkçe öğretim programındaki kazanımlar çerçevesinde hazırlanan ders kitapları ile hem anadil yeterliliği hem de anlama ve anlatma yeterliliklerini de geliştirirler. Türkçe dersi için kullanılan ders kitaplarında yer alan metinlerin özellikleri anadil eğitimi için oldukça önemlidir. Bu nedenle kitaplardaki metinler çok yönlü olarak belirlenmiş ölçütlere göre seçilmelidirler.Doküman incelemeye dayalı bu çalışmanın veri kaynağı, 2015- 2016 eğitim-öğretim yılında Manisa ilindeki 6. sınıf öğrencilerine Türkçe ders kitabı olarak dağıtılan kitapta (MEB) yer alan metinlerdir. Çalışmada 6. sınıf Türkçe dersi ders kitabında yer alan metinlerin, anadil eğitimine uygunluğu incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda ders kitabının değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır.Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde 'tez başlığı', 'problem cümlesi', 'problem durumu', 'araştırmanın amacı', 'araştırmanın önemi' ve araştırmada kullanılan yöntem ortaya konulmuştur. Birinci bölümde 'dil', ikinci bölümde 'anadil eğitimi' ve 'ders kitapları', üçüncü bölümde ise 'metin' hakkında bilgiler verilmiş, gerekli alt başlık türleri sınıflandırılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde elde edilen bulgular ve bunların değerlendirmeleri yer almıştır. En son bölümde, araştırma sonuçları ortaya konulmuş ve öneriler sunulmuştur.Bu çalışma, Türkçe dersi ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin belirlenmesine ilişkin dönüt sunacak olması nedeniyle önem taşımaktadır. Textbooks of Turkish courses are the main materials for teaching Turkish language. Students develop both language proficiency and comprehension and narrative competences with textbooks prepared within the framework of achievements in the Turkish curriculum, which are enriched in cognitive and affective skills appropriate to their characteristics in terms of age and level of knowledge.The quality of texts in the course books are more important for education of mother tongue. For this reason, the text in the books should be selected according to the multi-dimensional criteria.The data source of this study which depends on document analysis, are the texts in Turkish textbooks that were distributed to 6.grade students in city of Manisa in 2015-2016 academic year. In this study, the appropriateness to the feature of being text at education of mother tongue of the texts which are in Turkish textbook for 6th graders was investigated. According to the datum we get, the evaluation of the textbook has been made.The introduction section displays 'the title', 'the problem topic', 'the state of problem', 'the method', 'the aims' and 'the importance' of the research, The first chapter deals with the 'language', the second is about 'education of mother tongue' and 'textbooks', the third is about 'text'. The forth chapter displays the findings and the evaluations. The last chapter presents the results of our research and the suggestions.This study is important because of it will provide feedback regarding the determination of the texts in Turkish textbooks. 137

The diffusion lengths forone-speed neutrons in a slab are calculated using the first kind of Chebyshevpolynomials approximation (TN)method. The scattering models are constituted in place of the scatteringfunction with an argument of the cosine of the neutron scattering angle.Therefore, the forward-backward-isotropic (FBI) scattering model is used as thescattering function in transport equation which describes the interaction andthe conservation of the neutrons throughout a system. In the solutionalgorithm, first the neutron angular flux is expanded in terms of the Chebyshevpolynomials of first kind. After inserting this expansion in the transportequation, the coupled differential equations are derived using the propertiesof the Chebyshev polynomials of first kind. These equations are solved togetherand then the diffusion equation is obtained by applying the first orderapproximation (N = 1) which is knownas the diffusion approximation. Finally, the diffusion lengths for one-speedneutrons are calculated for selected values of the collision, backward andforward scattering parameters. The calculated diffusion lengths are given inthe tables together with the ones already obtained in literature in order toindicate the applicability of the present method. The convenience and rapidconvergence of the present method with its easily executable equations can beobserved from the derived equations and the results in tables.

Kamu hastanelerinde hizmet satın alınması ile ilgili olan bu araştırmanın amacı; Ankara metropol alanındaki seçilmiş kamu hastanelerinde hizmet satın alınmasının uygulanma nedenlerini tespit etmek, hizmet alımlarının uygulanma alanlarının neler olduğunu belirlemek, hizmet alımlarından yararlanma kararlarını etkileyen faktörleri belirlemek, hizmet alımlarından yararlanma uygulamalarının etkilerini ve sonuçlarını belirlemek, hizmet alımlarından yararlanma uygulamalarının risklerini belirlemek, hizmet alımlarından yararlanma uygulamalarını tercih etmeme ya da gerçekleştirememe nedenlerini tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın evrenini hastane yöneticileri, satın alma personeli, hizmet işleri kontrol teşkilatları ve muayene kabul komisyonu üyeleri oluşturmaktadır. Evrenin tamamına ulaşılmaya çalışılması nedeniyle örneklem çekilmemiştir. Araştırma, Ankara metropol alanındaki kamu sağlık kurumlarında çalışmakta olan yönetici ve personel üzerinde yapılmış olup veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Ankara metropol alanındaki kamu sağlık kurumları yöneticileri ile satın alma personelinin sorunları bu araştırmanın problem cümlesini oluşturmaktadır. Yüz yüze anket yoluyla katılımcılara uygulanan anketlerin araştırma evrenine oranı % 53'dür. Katılımcılar tarafından sırasıyla en çok vurgulanan tercih nedenleri hizmet kalitesini artırmak, hasta memnuniyetini artırmak, daha verimli hizmet üretmek, maliyetleri düşürerek, tasarruf sağlamak, teknolojik yeniliklere ulaşmak ve etkili bir kontrol ve denetim sistemi kurmak olmuştur. Katılımcılarının hizmet ihalesi kararı alırken etkilendikleri faktörler hükümet organlarının (bakanlık vb.) teşviki ve bu yöndeki yasal düzenlemeler olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir, Bunun dışında diğer hastanelerin uygulamaları hakkında alınan olumlu duyumlar, tedarikçilerin daha iyi teknolojik altyapıya sahip olması ve tedarikçilere bağlı personelin kurum personeline kıyasla daha maliyet etkili çalışması olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Katılımcıların en çok vurguladığı etki veya sonuç hizmet ihalesinin hizmet kalitesini arttırıcı etkisidir. Katılımcılar ayrıca hizmet ihalesi sayesinde finansal tasarruf sağlandığını, verimli hizmet gereksinimlerinin karşılandığını ve hasta memnuniyetini artırıcı bir etkisi olduğunu gözlemlediklerini belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcıların hizmet ihalesi uygulamalarına yönelik katılımcıların belirlediği en önemli risk seçilen tedarikçinin finansal istikrarsızlığıdır. This study which is about the Contracting Out (CO) activities in public hospitals have the purposes to identify the reasons of implementing CO at public hospitals, identify CO areas, determine the factors affecting CO decisin making process, identify the effects and consequences of CO activities, the risks of CO, the reasons of not preferring or not implementing CO at Ankara metropolitan area public hospitals by executing a questionnaire on hospital managers, purchasing department personel and the personel responsible for service operations controlling organizations. The study will be carried out with the employees of Ankara metropolitan area public hospitals who participates voluntarily by a questionnaire. The data collecting tool was composed of the main parts. The first part aims to determine the demographic and descriptive data of participants and the second part includes questions about CO procedures at public hospitals. Thus, the problems of hospital managers and service operations controlling personel composes the problem statament of the research. The percentage of the questionnaires administered by face-to-face survey to the research universe is %53. The most frequently cited reasons for preference by the participants were to increase the quality of service, to increase patient satisfaction, to produce more efficient services, to reduce costs, to save money, to reach technological innovations and to establish an effective control and audit system. Factors influencing the participants' decision to make a service auction are that government agencies (ministries, etc.) are involved in the promotion and legal regulations in this area. Apart from this, the positive feelings about the practices of other hospitals are that the suppliers have better technological infrastructure and that the personnel depending on the suppliers work more cost effectively than the institution staff. The impact or outcome most emphasized by the participants is the increasing effect of the service contract on service quality. Participants also noted that financial auction was achieved through service auction, meeting efficient service requirements and increasing patient satisfaction. Participants' most important risk identified by participants for service auction practices is the financial instability of the chosen supplier. The supplier is the risk most often attributable to the injury of the hospital image due to reasons for the supplier, the failure of the supplier's product or service to meet the requirements of the institution, and the inability of the supplier to deliver the desired goods or services on time. It is emphasized that the participants have the quality and quantity of personnel to provide this service mostly within the institution as the reason for not choosing or not to implement the service auction applications. This is followed by the lack of legal fees for the tender and the lack of quality and quantity of firms to bid for tenders. Service areas of the Ministry of Health of the province of Ankara in which the Ministry of Health spends most of the time within the time period covered by the survey are security, food, cleaning, information processing, medical wastes, laboratory, consultation and patient referral services, technical maintenance repairs, radiology imaging sterilization services. Bundan dolayı firmaların değişik koşullar altında üretim çizelgeleri oluşturmaları zorlaşmaktadır ve firmalarda çizelgeleme için yeni matematiksel modellere ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Ayrıca bu karmaşıklık üretimde birçok probleme sebep olmaktadır.Teslim tarihi belirleme, üretimde yaşanan en büyük problemlerden biridir. Özellikle siparişe göre üretim yapan sistemlerde teslim tarihi belirleme çok önemli bir konudur. Yoğun olarak el becerisi kullanılan çeşitli sanayi kollarında, uzun vadede şirkete olan güveni ve bağlılığı sağlayacak şekilde daha kısa ve erişilebilir teslim tarihlerinin verilmesi diğer firmalarla olan rekabette önemli bir avantaj yaratır. Bu tez çalışmasında, siparişe dayalı üretim yapan ve esnek akış tipi üretime sahip bir işletme ele alınmış ve bu işletmenin en büyük problemlerinden biri olan teslim tarihi belirleyememe sorununa çözüm getirilmiştir. Müşteriler sipariş vermek için geldiklerinde yüksek güvenilirlikte teslim tarihi verilmesinin amaçlandığı çok makineli bir üretim sistemi ele alınmıştır. Bu üretim sistemi, birbirine seri aşamaları olan, bu aşamalardan en az birinde paralel makineler bulunan ve işlerin aynı rotayı takip ettiği bir sistemdir. Teslim tarihi verirken her bir sipariş için kısıtlar vardır ve teslim tarihi keyfi olarak uzatılamamaktadır. Teslim tarihini belirleyebilmek için karma tamsayılı matematiksel modeller geliştirilmiştir. Bu modeller GAMS dilinde yazılmış ve CPLEX çözücü yardımıyla çözülmüştür. Tamamlanma zamanı ve toplam maliyet minimize edilerek hangi siparişin hangi istasyonda hangi makinede hangi sırayla yapılması gerektiği bilgisine ulaşarak siparişler için tamamlanma zamanı belirlenebilmektedir. Geliştirilen bu matematiksel modellerin yüksek doğrulukta teslim tarihi verdiği örnek uygulamayla doğrulanmıştır. Nowadays, production systems have become complicated with the development of technology and the increase in the number of products. Therefore, it is becoming more difficult to create production schedules under different conditions for companies and new mathematical models are needed for scheduling in companies. Moreover, this complexity causes many problems in production. Due date assignment is one of the biggest problems in production. Especially, the due date assignment is a very important issue for systems that manufacture according to the order. In various industries that are heavily handcrafted, giving shorter and more accessible due dates to provide confidence and loyalty to the company in the long time creates a major advantage over other companies.In this thesis, a company with make-to-order production and flexible flow type production was chosen and the problem of not being able to determine the due date which is one of the biggest problems of this company was solved. When customers come to place an order, a production system with many machines that can deliver due date with high reliability is considered. This production system is a system in which there are serial stages between each other, at least one of these stages has parallel machines, and the jobs follow the same routes. When giving a due date, there are restrictions for each order and the due date can not be arbitrarily extended.Mixed integer mathematical models were developed to determine the due date. These models were written in GAMS language and solved with the help of CPLEX solver. The completion time and total cost can be minimized so that the completion time can be determined for orders by reaching information about which order, which station, which machine, which order. This developed mathematical models were verified with a sample application which gives a high accuracy due date. 91
