A halal product guarantee is a legal certainty regarding the halal status of a product produced by a business entity, which is evidenced by the issuance of a halal certificate by the government. The focus of the research examines the changes in halal product guarantee regulations within the Omnibus Law using a legal politics and consumer legal protection approach. This research is normative legal research whose object of study is the history of changes to halal product guarantee regulations in the Job Creation Act and its implications for consumer legal protection. Legal and non-legal materials were obtained from document studies and literature studies in the form of academic texts, draft laws, problem inventory lists, laws and regulations related to halal product guarantees and consumer protection, journals, and other documents relevant to the research issue. Changes in halal product guarantee regulations are a strategic step to strengthen the national halal industry and increase the competitiveness of Indonesian halal products in the global market. Changes in regulations prioritizing business actors' statements as the basis for halal certification can overcome the low awareness of business actors regarding halal certification obligations. In addition, changes to halal product guarantee regulations provide legal protection for consumers through guarantees of legal certainty, both preventively and repressively through self-declaration policies by implementing special limitations, conditions, and criteria for halal certification obligations for micro and small businesses, as well as administrative sanctions. and criminal penalties for business actors who commit acts or violations that can harm consumers.

Science - Abstract
Recent research has revealed that tropical cyclones can develop over eastern Indonesian waters influenced by marine heatwaves and Rossby waves in the atmosphere. However, there is no study documenting tropical cyclones that occur in conjunction with atmospheric Rossby waves (Rossby Atmospheric-Tropical Cyclones) and their association with increased sea surface temperatures in eastern Indonesian waters. This study aims to document the influence of Rossby waves in the atmosphere on the formation of tropical cyclones around the Indonesian region using 5 case studies in 2017-2022, namely: December 2017, January 2020, December 2020, December 2021, and April 2022. This study uses wind data, sea surface temperature, specific humidity, and temperature (2m) obtained from the European Re-Analysis (ERA5) with a temporal and spatial resolution of one hour and 0.25°×0.25°. The identification of Rossby waves is based on the Rossby index issued by the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies (NCICS). In this study, the Rossby Atmosphere-Tropical Cyclone is grouped into three phases, namely: early phase, mature phase, and late phase, using composite and statistical methods to calculate anomalies. The results showed that in the early phase, the existence of Rossby waves was shown by two twin vortices over eastern Indonesia, which was supported by high specific humidity, warming sea surface temperature (>+0.4°C), and higher surface temperature (>+0.3°C) over Timor. In the mature phase, the twin vortices over eastern waters transformed into a tropical cyclone over the Philippines. In the final phase, specific humidity decreases, sea surface temperature cools (

CARBON content of water , *EUPHOTIC zone , *ORGANIC wastes , *WATER quality , *FISH mortality , *AQUACULTURE , *TRAUMA registries - Abstract
Lake Batur’s water quality on Bali Island has significantly declined, leading to massive annual fish mortality rates. The suspected reason is the expansion of aquaculture using floating net cages (FNC) beyond their capacity. The study aims to assess the impact of FNC-based aquaculture on water quality and organic matter distribution, specifically total organic matter, TSS, and chlorophyll a. The result states that Lake Batur has exceeded its carrying capacity of 10,047 plots since 2018 and currently holds 18,768 plots as of 2022. Within the last five years (2018-2022), the FNC discharged 5,947 tons of organic waste into Lake Batur, containing 1,779 quintals of nitrogen and 430 quintals of phosphorus. Consequently, each liter of Lake Batur water accrues 7.29 mg of organic waste annually, including 2.18 mg of nitrogen and 0.53 mg of phosphorus. Organic waste in Lake Batur has led to a reduction in water transparency, an increase in total organic matter (TOM), a decrease in dissolved oxygen (DO), and an increase in chlorophyll-a (Chl-a) concentrations. Its changes serve as indicators of eutrophication and degradation of water quality. The distribution of organic matter across the euphotic zone did not correlate with FNC distribution, suggesting that FNC distribution no longer influences organic matter distribution. Environmental factors surrounding the SL have emerged as the primary driver of differences in organic matter distribution. It demonstrates the dissemination of organic matter in the euphotic zone of Lake Batur due to the constant discharge of effluent by the long-standing FNC, which has surpassed its maximum capacity. Surgery ,RD1-811 - Abstract
Background: Giant cell tumor is a rare neoplasm that most frequently occurs at the end of long bones and accounts for approximately 5% of all primary bone tumors in adults. The prevalence of spinal giant cell tumors is estimated at 2%–15% of all spinal giant cell tumors. However, Giant cell tumor is a rare finding in the spine, especially in the pediatric population. Case: A 6-year-old male patient presented with back pain that had spread to both legs for 1.5 years and had worsened in the past 4 months. The pain is intermittent. The patient also felt tingling in the waist and legs, which then turned into a thickening feeling from the waist to the toes since the last 6 months. The patient also complained of weakness in both legs since 1 year ago. Currently the patient is only on bed rest. The patient cannot walk but can still stand with assistance. Defecation and urination remain within normal limits. History of previous trauma (-) Prolonged cough (-), bed wetting (-), headache (-), seizures (-), decreased consciousness (-), progressive weight loss (-), nausea (-) vomiting (-), history of contact with TB sufferers (-). Conclusion: Complete resection of tumor by laminectomy was performed successfully followed by spinal fusion with a pedicle screw. The screws were placed correctly at all four levels of Vertebrae. The decision was made to give stability for spine and it was scheduled to remove the pedicle screw one year follow-up after surgery. Histopathology results showed characteristic findings of giant cell tumor.

SURFACE of the earth , *SOFTWARE as a service , *REMOTE-sensing images , *CLIENT/SERVER computing equipment , *PERSONAL computers , *ALGORITHMS , *IMAGE segmentation - Abstract
Widespread use of high-resolution satellite images may be found in many fields and applications. Its ability to record the earth's surface in more detail benefits regional spatial management, natural resources and disaster monitoring, and several other fields. The smaller coverage is unfortunate if areas are not visible due to cloud contamination. The presence of clouds can reduce or even eliminate the information in the image. Cloud detection on high-resolution images is a challenge because this image only has four channels: blue, green, red, and NIR. While the thermal channel, which is often used to detect the presence of clouds, is not owned by this image. This study proposes a method to identify clouds in high-resolution satellite imagery based on this limitation. The cloud detection software in this paper uses U-Net version 1.0. This software can be executed on a server or personal computer (PC). The model applied to the Dice coefficient and IoU to know how the segmentation model performs. The results of this cloud detection process are cloud detection raster data. This software generates the percentage of clouds in an image as a.txt file. The dice model is recommended for the cloud detection method based on the accuracy assessment. Users can utilize these results, especially in overcoming cloud constraints on high-resolution satellite imagery. This software is expected to fulfill the needs of remote-sensing data users. WOOD waste , *X-ray spectroscopy , *BIOCHAR , *COIR , *WOOD chemistry , *COCONUT , *COCONUT palm - Abstract
Indonesia is an agricultural country with agriculture-based industries such as the wood industry for furniture as one of its developing industries. Wood-based industries typically generate a large amount of waste in the form of sawdust. The wood industry that utilizes coconut trees as a raw material will produce waste like sawdust and coir. Using pyrolysis techniques can convert sawdust and coir waste into biochar. Biochar is commonly used as a soil amendment because it can improve soil fertility. This research aims to determine the elemental content of biochar derived from wood sawdust and coconut coir dust and whether the resulting biochar is elementally suitable for use as a soil amendment. Biochar is created by burning coconut wood sawdust and coconut coir dust in a furnace at 250°C and 350°C for 4 hours, then grinding and sifting to a size of 355 micrometres at the Limnology and Water Resources Research Center. Elemental property analysis using an X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF) at Lampung Advanced Characterization-BRIN. According to the XRF analysis, the five dominant elements in coconut coir dust biochar are potassium (K) 42.97-43.87%, chlorine (Cl) 39.41-41.49, calcium (Ca) 11.68-12.51%, iron (Fe) 2.29-3.07%, and phosphorus (P) 0.51-0.54%. Meanwhile, the five most abundant elements in coconut sawdust biochar are iron (Fe) 46.37-50.08%, silica (Si) 19.05-20.56%, calcium (Ca) (7.94-12.10), aluminum (Al) (8.93-10.31%), and potassium (K) (4.01-5.62%). The findings of the study show that raw materials have a significant impact on elemental content. Furthermore, the elemental composition of sawdust biochar is dominated by toxic elements that are unfavorable when applied to the soil. Utilizing biochar from coir dust is better than biochar from sawdust based on elemental content. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

ELECTIVE surgery , *COVID-19 pandemic , *COVID-19 , *MEDICAL personnel , *HOSPITAL financing , *HOSPITAL patients - Abstract
In the early days of the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, several countries had policies to postpone elective surgical services. By reducing or suspending elective surgery, they aimed to maximize existing resources to deal with patients with COVID-19. However, the delay and/or termination of elective surgery created additional problems, both for patients and the healthcare system. Discontinuation of elective surgery can cause a risk of a backlog; increasing patient morbidity and mortality; poorer quality of life; affecting finances and hospital resources, as well as training and research programs. Based on all these considerations, elective surgery during the COVID-19 pandemic must be restarted with several requirements and provisions, which provide safety for the patients as well as the healthcare workers. The COVID-19-free pathway has been shown to minimize the risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission in hospitals for patients undergoing elective surgery. We can use this strategy as a protocol in the future pandemics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study was intended to evaluate the influence of physical parameters on the formation of Yttrium Iron Garnet (YIG) through a sample pressing system under dry conditions. YIG, which is formed from solid oxide, is an important compound for the application of circulator components for radar and telecommunications equipment. Sample preparation begins by weighing the solid oxide according to the composition. Solid oxide particle size greatly affects the homogenization quality within powder mixing. Dry pressing conditions determine the quality of the garnet produced with low porosity. The porosity indicator used in this study is the densification parameter. Densification values of more than 70% can be achieved when using a powder size of less than 5 microns and a compacting pressure of about 700 MPa. Garnet with low porosity is physically stiff and strong and exhibits superior microwave response performance. Insertion loss was chosen as the main indicator of microwave response quality in this study. The sample under study has a densification of over 70% and shows a low insertion loss of less than 0.5 dB. The correct pressing technique will produce a garnet with low porosity and insertion loss. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Investment is one indicator that can affect the country's economy. One type of investment with great demand is stocks, so stock price fluctuations are always interesting to be analyzed. This study aims to model stock price fluctuations represented by dynamic logistics models since the stock price has a nonlinear pattern and grows rapidly but with restricted value. The model will be discretized and converted into a differential equation so that the solution can derive for a short period. Meanwhile, fit and forecast data analysis is applied to some actual data for long periods. The data used in this study is the daily closing price of the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite) during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the fluctuation of stock prices in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic can analyze further. The results indicate that our prediction has a high accuracy since the Mean Average Percentage Error (MAPE) average is 4.332%, and the Root Mean Square Percentage Error (RMSPE) average is 5.572%. This study shows that investors can use the dynamic logistic model results to improve their knowledge as a consideration in decision-making. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The activities of using the internet and exchanging information and sending messages have used a lot of internet media, one of which is chat message media, but over time data and information security problems in chat messages that are often encountered are active and passive wiretapping. In this research, the author wants to create a counseling chat message security application using the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm cryptographic method combined with the CBC (Cipher Block Chaining) technique which is an advanced development of the ECB (Electronic Code Book) technique. AES basically uses a block cipher with a length of 128 bits as the default operation, and the key length size varies from 128, 192 and 256 bits. so AES uses a 4x4 matrix equation with each section having a size of 1 byte. From these problems, research will be conducted to develop an application to accommodate the counseling process using a chat application that has the main focus of securing messages with image types and stored in the Firebase database service (Backend as a Service). As well as using the End-to-End service principle so that users do not need to do the encryption or decryption process directly because the process has been carried out by the system, this will also provide more security aspects in terms of confidentiality of key data and initialization vectors. So that the process of exchanging information using the media chat counseling application is secured and avoids tapping by irresponsible parties.

- Abstract
Recently, there are two general approaches used in understanding interzeolite transformations, thermodynamically represented by framework density (FD) and kinetically by structural building units. Two types of structural building units are composite building units (CBU's) and secondary building units (SBU's). This study aims to examine the approaches by using interzeolite transformation data available in literature and propose a possible alternative approach. From a number of cases of zeolite transformation, the FD and CBU approach are not suitable for use. The FD approach fails in cases involving zeolite parents that have moderate or high FD's, while CBU approach fails because of CBU's unavailability in parent zeolites compared with CBU's in their transformation products. The SBU approach is most likely to fit because SBU's are units that have basic form of ring structures and closer to the state and shape of oligomeric fragments present in zeolite synthesis or dissolution cases. Thus, a new approach can be considered in understanding the interzeolite transformation, namely the ring building unit (RBU) approach. The advantage of RBU approach is RBU's can be easily derived from all framework types, but in SBU approach there are several types of frameworks that cannot be expressed in SBU forms.

BIOCHAR , *FOOD industrial waste , *SOIL amendments , *BEANS , *WATER supply , *X-ray fluorescence - Abstract
One of the abundant wastes in the food industry is the waste of unused lablab beans due to overproduction or expiration during storage. To solve this condition, the waste of lablab bean can be used as biochar, which will be helpful for soil improvement. This study aimed to determine the chemical characterization of biochar derived from the waste of "Lablab purpureus" bean. Producing biochar is treated by carbonization of the beans using a furnace with a temperature of 250°C and 350°C. After carbonization, the biochar will be ground and sieved with a size of 355 micrometers at the Research Center for Limnology and Water Resources. Proximate analysis was done at Research Center for Limnology and Water Resources. Chemical characterization analysis was done using FTIR analysis at Integrated Laboratory of Bioproduct and X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF) at Lampung Advanced Characterization Laboratory-BRIN. The yields of biochar were 40.20% and 33.22% for the carbonization of 250 and 350 °C, respectively. Based on the proximate analysis the biochar shows value of moisture content 5.83-6.08% and the ash content 9.81% and 12.85% for each of the temperatures, respectively. FTIR analysis shows that the functional groups in the biochars were C-H, C=C, and C-O. The XRF analysis showed that the dominant content of lablab bean biochar is potassium (K2O) with a concentration of 75-76%, then phosphorus (P2O5) with a concentration of 16-17%, and magnesium (MgO) with a concentration of 1.7-1.9%. Furthermore, the potassium and phosphorus concentration from biochar derived from lablab beans were higher than the compost standard, which means biochar from lablab beans has potency as a candidate for soil amendment due to high nutrient contents. - Abstract
Population distribution pattern is directly related with economic gap of a region. Analysis of population distribution pattern is usually performed by studying statistical data on population. This study aimed to analyze population distribution pattern using image analysis concept, i.e. using satellite images. Levelset and morphological image filtering methods were used to analyze images to see distribution pattern. The research result showed that Levelset and morphological image filtering could remove a lot of noises in analysis result images and form object edge contours very clearly. The detected object contours were used as references to recognize population distribution pattern based on satellite image analysis. The pattern made based on the research result didn't show optimal result because Levelset performed image segmentation based on the contours of the analyzed objects. Other segmentation methods should be combined with it to produce clearer population distribution pattern.

The domestic wastewater in Cihideung and Tawang Subdistricts as central business district (CBD) areas in Tasikmalaya City is only served by an on-site domestic wastewater management system or Sistem Pengelolaan Air Limbah Domestik Setempat (SPALD-S) which could deteriorate the environment. This study aims to determine the most appropriate type, strategy, and development direction of SPALD based on the existing local conditions for the next 20 years in CBD areas in big cities such as Tasikmalaya. The two methods were used: the multicriteria decision analysis method which refers to the Regulation of the Minister of PUPR Number 04 of 2017, and the Quantitative SWOT analysis method refers to the Guidelines for Preparing a Wastewater Management System Plan. The results of the analysis show that integrated SPALD (SPALD-T) must be implemented aggressively in the two sub-districts based on the key parameters of the existing SPALD conditions, potential for soil contamination, potential danger to air receiving bodies, socio-economic characteristics of the community, public health conditions, education level, financial capability, and the availability of regulations regarding SPALD. The SPALD-T development is suggested to be carried out in stages by determining priority zones for every five years of the planning period.

The existence of the DSN-MUI Fatwa cannot be separated from the political situation of Indonesia and the legal politics of the formation of Islamic economic regulations. At the end of Soeharto's presidency, the government began to listen to the aspirations of Muslims to incorporate sharia values into legislation. This research aims to examine the background of the issuance of Fatwa DSN-MUI through a legal political approach, and examine the legal position of Fatwa DSN-MUI in Islamic financial institutions. The type of normative research whose object of study is Fatwa DSN-MUI using statute approach, conceptual approach, and historical approach. Sources of legal and non-legal materials were obtained from literature and documentation studies. The existence of Fatwa DSN-MUI is caused by two factors, namely: First, the existence of regulations that require every Islamic financial institution to carry out its business activities in accordance with the Fatwa DSN-MUI; and Second, the development of product innovation in every Islamic financial institution that requires Fatwa DSN-MUI as norms and operational guidelines that govern it. Therefore, the position of Fatwa DSN-MUI in legal substance is morally and legally binding for all Islamic financial service business actors. The binding of the DSN-MUI Fatwa is due to the existence of orders from the legislation. This is differentiates the Fatwa of DSN-MUI from other religious fatwas.

This article aims to analyze the equal role of women in the public sphere in terms of Islamic theology. Discrimination against women due to race, nationality, or religion is a topic that is often discussed today. Looking at the position of women in various religious traditions can help find solutions to problems such as discrimination against women. Furthermore, this discrimination causes women to have limitations in the public sphere, thus suppressing women's productivity. This research aims to explain how the Qur'an can be interpreted to provide a more equitable theology of gender roles within the Islamic framework. The research strategy combines a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review. Research questions were guided by Qur'anic verses and answered using literature sources, including books, scholarly journals, and the most popular online databases. The findings of this study show that the Qur'ān does not support discrimination based on gender. Regarding receiving a broad message, both men and women are given equal weight in the Qur'ānic framework. There are too many possible interpretations of the term "gender equality" to make any concrete conclusions. The solution to all the world's problems can be found in the Qur'ānic literature, which promotes gender equality through balance, fairness, and proportion. The Qur'an uses existing arguments to describe the importance of women's role in the public sphere, both as Servants and Caliphs. The role of women in the public sphere is different from that of men, but in terms of calculation, the portion assigned to women and men is relatively balanced. The idea that Islam is a religion of sexism is also not supported by the language and literature of the Qur'an. The author argues that the Qur'anic principles of gender equality can be applied to modern efforts to eliminate derogatory stereotypes.

- Abstract
Image segmentation is a stage in image processing, responsible for dividing an image into regions homogeneous, based on the similarity. Suppose the grey level of a pixel by pixel gray neighbors. The quality of image segmentation is generally influenced by the characteristics and the handling of images to be processed. This paper presents the results of satellite image segmentation using a fuzzy cluster region means (FCM). To improve the contrast of the image, conducted morphological filtering techniques. Satellite image analysis performed on five districts in the province of Banten Indonesia. Difference's segmentation results evident when non-negative parameter value is converted to a 2 and 4. The higher the value of a non-negative parameter is given, then the details of the edges of objects clearer segmentation results. The combined use of a top-hat and boots-hat filtering on objects before satellite imagery analysed by FCM, indicating that it merges with the background object. Background object in the original image is the object of rice fields and is not part of observation in this study. It was identified to have the same gray level similarity with the object of building.

This article discussed strategies for developing students’ leadership character through Islamic education. From the results of the study conducted by the researchers, taken from various literatures, there is currently a leadership crisis occurring at all levels, both at the local, national, and global levels. The leadership crisis occurs due to the inability to manage multidimensional crises and immoral behavior. The researchers considered that the existence of the PAI course played an important role in instilling and fostering leadership characters in the students. This is because PAI subjects have a vital position in the education curriculum in Indonesia, referring to Law no. 20 of 2003 and its various derivatives, which place the PAI course as a national compulsory subject. This study used a qualitative-descriptive method. Data was collected through field studies, interviews and document studies at PAI lectures in Polban and PNJ. The results of the study show that PAI lectures have a role in developing student leadership character through 2 strategic steps, namely examining the concept of leadership in the Qur’an and then introducing leadership character into PAI teaching materials and carrying out learning with an active learning approach (active learning).

Since 2018 to July 2022, the Ministry of Communication and Information has cut off access to 534,138 gambling content on various digital platforms. This very high number will continue to grow. One of the reasons for the rise of online gambling content is the mode that is used, namely the "bodong" investment mode. Society is promised with unreasonable profits. Blocking efforts are actually one way to prevent and protect the public. Criminal law has regulated gambling in the Criminal Code, as well as if it is done using technology media, it is regulated in the Information and Electronic Transaction Law. This paper examines the regulation of criminal law regarding online gambling in the present, and in the future. This normative law research uses a statutory, comparative, and conceptual approach with prescriptive analysis. The results show that the regulation of gambling in the Criminal Code does not regulate online gambling, the ITE Law still has weak juridical problems in juridical consequences. While in the Draft Criminal Code, it is actually regulated more comprehensively, namely by regulating criminal acts committed with technology in general provisions, but regarding gambling, the Criminal Code concept there are exceptions to permit arrangements taking into account laws that apply in society. Gambling, which has been licensed by the government, has a negative impact on people's lives. The word “without permission” has a meaning that tends to be ambiguous and less relevant.

The presence of the anti-SARS-CoV-2-RBD antibody (anti-RBD) prevents severe COVID-19. We aimed to determine the accuracy of a point-of-care anti-RBD testing implemented in persons living with HIV (PLWH), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and chronic kidney disease (CKD). We enrolled 182 non-comorbid subjects and 335 comorbid subjects (PLWH, SLE, CKD) to test the anti-RBD assay compared to the surrogate viral neutralization test (sVNT) as the reference test. We performed linear correlation analysis between anti-RBD and sVNT, along with an ROC analysis to ascertain the anti-RBD cutoff at 30%, 60%, and 90% inhibition of sVNT, to calculate accuracy. The correlations between anti-RBD and sVNT among all groups were excellent, with R = 0.7903, R = 0.7843, and R = 0.8153 among the non-comorbid, SLE, and CKD groups, respectively, and with significantly higher correlation among the PLWH group (R = 0.8877; p-value = 0.0072) compared to the non-comorbid group. The accuracy of the anti-RBD test among the PLWH and CKD groups was similar to that among the non-comorbid group but showed lower sensitivity in the SLE group (p = 0.000014). The specificity of the test remained high in all groups. In conclusion, the anti-RBD test had excellent correlation with the sVNT. The persistently high specificity in all groups suggests that this test can be reliably utilized to detect the presence of low neutralization capacity, prompting additional vaccination.

Although the creative city concept has received much criticism, the creative movement still occurs to fight for a better city. The decline in the terracotta tile business in Jatiwangi, Majalengka Regency, West Java, Indonesia, has triggered a creative movement to revitalize their identity through the Terracotta City movement. By combining Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s field of creativity and Pierre Bourdieu’s cultural capital, this study is carried out to reveal the creative culture of terracotta tile entrepreneurs in Jatiwangi and its relation to the movement. It is found that entrepreneurs’ creative culture is dominantly stimulated by economic capital, and then it is transformed into cultural capital. Innovations are only made, if the market share is clear since it bears economic risks. However, social capital has a role in transforming entrepreneurs’ economic and cultural capital to accept innovation and product diversification. This study also reveals that entrepreneurs as adopters intend to initiate innovation and diversification of terracotta products. However, within the framework of innovation, it shows that creative culture plays a role in incorporating aspects of humanity into innovation activities by giving innovation efforts to represent human beings.

Edible canna (Canna indica L. syn. Canna edulis Ker Gawl.) or Queensland arrowroot is known as underutilized yet functional food due to its excellent eating quality. This plant is harvested as edible starchy rhizome and propagated mostly vegetatively, distinguished by red and green canna for their leaves color. Our previous study found two groups of green canna in IAARD-ICABIOGRAD Gene Bank collection based on their morphological and molecular characters, but their biochemical and physicochemical status, especially on starch content has not been studied yet. This preliminary study aimed to identify starch content in tuber of 13 green canna accessions and to analyze relationship between geographical origin and phenotypic variation on their starch content. As supporting data, water content and dry content were also investigated. Results showed canna tubers from Banyuwangi (accession CI-12) had the highest starch content (15.01%), followed by accessions from Kuningan (CI-08), Bantul (CI-18), and Cilacap (CI-13) with content was >9.5%. High water content (>75%) was found on accessions from Banyumas (CI-09), Bantul (CI-21 and CI-27), Purworejo (CI-14), Kuningan (CI-08), Banyumas (CI-12), and Garut (CI-15). No significant different was observed in starch or water content of respective accessions derived from different origin. Cluster analysis on the respective observation showed two groups of green canna in this study. Further investigation on more accessions or specific starch components were advised to investigate any starch variability to improve utilization of canna as potential food source for health and dietary diversity.
