, In this paper, the water-stable aggregates were examined for the 3 kinds of upland field soil and a weathered Neogene mudstone which are distributed in the Okinawa island. Out lines of the result obtained are as follows. 1. The upland field soils aggregate in order of Jaagaru > Shimajiri-maaji > Kunigami-maaji. However, the tendency is weak, and the aggregate distribution is rich in the change in the soil of the equal type. 2. There are many small aggregate (< 0.25mm) and middle aggregate (0.25∿2mm) but big aggregate (> 2mm) is little. 3. Though the clay fraction contributes to the formation of the minute aggregate, it does not seem to contribute in the formation of the bulky aggregate. 4. The soil aggregate of Kunigami-maaji is the lowest stability and durability in the 3 kinds of soil.,
