The current article attempts to reconstruct the relationship between two prominent figures of the initial stage of the National Revolution 1648--1676. The main objectives of the study are to determine the factors that caused the differences in the political sphere of activity, to clarify the process of their development into a conflict ground of clash of views on the nature and purpose of the national uprising, which transformed into a revolution, and to reveal the role of personal ambitions of each of them in this confrontation. The research methodology is based on the theoretical frameworks of historical science of the twentieth and early twentyfirst centuries, the Annales school in particular, and the scientific views of A.J. Toynbee and J. Le Goff. The principles of objectivity, historicism, alternativity, and systematicity and the following methods are used: chronological, periodization, retrospective, reconstructive, historical and genetic, synchronic, historiographical analysis, and synthesis. Main results. The analysis of the source base and scientific achievements of predecessors has revealed that the conflict between B. Khmelnytskyi and M. Kryvonis is a manifestation not so much of the confrontation of ambitions for power as of the personalized phenomenon of the clash of alternative trends during the uprising: the preservation of its Cossack character or transformation into the National Revolution. It is proved that in the summer -- autumn of 1648, the Ukrainian state's idea in the form of achieving the separation of Rus (Ukraine) from the Crown of Poland was generated in the minds of radical elders and ordinary participants in the revolutionary struggle, whose informal leader was M. Kryvonis, and not in B. Khmelnytskyi and the moderate-agreement group of elders (mainly from the registered Cossacks) led by him. The conflict between them was the result of the polarity of their views on the nature and purpose of the uprising and the emergence of ambitions to take over the bulava. In the personal and social space of the relationship between the two figures, we can distinguish three stages. The first (February -- May) was marked by mutual understanding between them in the conduct of military operations. The second (June -- the first decade of August) was characterized by the growth of the conflict and B. Khmelnytskyi's use of force to resolve it. The third (second decade of August -- November) was characterized by post-conflict alertness with the persistence of differences in views, which were clearly manifested during the Zamostyansky negotiations on 20--21 November 1648. Prospects for further research are seen in the need to study the processes of transformation of the Cossack elders into the Ukrainian political proto-elite in 1648 and the impact of the political activities of B. Khmelnytskyi and M. Kryvonis on them. The practical significance of the results obtained is in their possible use by scholars to write monographs and articles on the history of the National Revolution of the 17th century, as well as by university professors and teachers in the educational process. The originality of the study is due to the first attempt in historiography to reconstruct a holistic picture of the genesis, development, and violent resolution of the conflict between B. The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a total of 676 million cases of infection and 6.9 million deaths. During a pandemic, healthcare workers are exposed to psychological stressors such as high risk of infection, inadequate protection, and isolation, which could have implications for their wellbeing. The purpose of this qualitative literature review carried out systematically was to examine the views of physiotherapists who worked with COVID-19 patients during the COVID-19 pandemic to identify how physiotherapy services might be better prepared for future pandemics. A systematic search was carried out across four databases (CINAHL, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, SPORTDISCUS) to identify relevant studies. Studies were assessed for quality and data extracted and analysed using thematic synthesis. A total of 631 studies were identified through the search strategy and screened against the inclusion/exclusion criteria. Six papers met the inclusion criteria. Four themes were identified from the perspective of the physiotherapy participants: lack of resources; emotional impact; coping strategies and integration; and value within the multidisciplinary team. Overall qualitative evidence around the views of physiotherapists who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic is limited. An insight into the views of participants may help healthcare organisations support physiotherapy services to be better prepared in the event of a future pandemic, specifically addressing the need to strengthen supply chains, advocating for physiotherapy as a profession in low-income counties and psychological resilience. Accessible Summary: What is known on the subject?: Anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression negatively affect the relationship between mothers and their children.At least half of cases of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression were missed and underdiagnosed by healthcare professionals (HCPs) including doctors, nurses and midwives.Previous qualitative studies considered women's experiences relating to anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression separately from studies looking at the views of HCPs.There is a lack of research in Middle Eastern countries, despite the high prevalence of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression. What does this paper add to existing knowledge?: This is the first qualitative study investigating the experiences of both HCPs and service users regarding anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression from the Middle East perspective, particularly in Oman.This study revealed that anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression has been neglected in primary healthcare systems in Oman.The study explored many barriers and facilitators which have been identified by both HCPs and patients in identifying and managing anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression in the primary healthcare system. Previous studies have identified barriers and facilitators, reported by women and HCPs, related to the identification and management of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression. However, these studies considered the experiences of women separately from those of the healthcare professionals, even though their experiences of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression are interconnected. Additionally, there is a lack of research among people living in the Middle East, including Oman, which has one of the highest rates of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression globally. Aim: This study aimed to explore the views and experiences of HCPs and service users relating to anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression from the Middle East perspective. Method: A qualitative descriptive study using semi‐structured interviews was conducted. This study took place at the Family Medicine and Community Clinic at the University Hospital and three selected primary healthcare centres in Muscat, between May 2020 and February 2021. Purposive sampling was used: 15 HCPs with 2–20 years of clinical experience in anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal primary care and 13 pregnant patients plus 2 post‐birth patients were interviewed. Audio‐recordings were transcribed verbatim, and the anonymized transcripts were then entered into the qualitative data management software, NVIVO 12. Results: A thematic approach was used to analyse the data. Four themes were identified in the data, namely: (1) making sense of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression; (2) how to deal with anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression; (3) barriers to addressing anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression in primary anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal care settings and (4) bridging the gap: facilitators in detecting and managing anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression. Conclusions: Improving the identification and management of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression in primary healthcare systems will require a whole‐system approach with interventions at the patient, practice and comprehensive primary care team levels. Implications for Practice: The findings suggest implications for improving the identification and management of anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal depression including an increased emphasis on mental health by enhancing the routine screening of mothers during the anti‐, peri‐ and post‐natal period, clearer referral systems, improving resources, providing training with regard to mental health and improving communication skills. Parents play a major role as enablers and motivators of their children's sport participation and retention. However, parents are often not considered in the data collection pertaining to youth sport coaching initiatives. We investigated parent perceptions of community youth sport coaching within the context of a Coach Developer Program which was trialled across 6 community sport clubs. 17 parents contributed qualitative data via interview. Reflexive thematic analysis resulted in the themes: expectations of coaching; limitations in coach development; parents' ability to notice change, and sustainability of coach development programs. There was a mismatch between parent expectations of coaches and their recognition that the coaching role is multi-faceted with coach development difficult where coaching is largely undertaken by novice volunteers. Findings from this study add to the limited literature that considers the role of parent perceptions and expectations of coaching when providing coach development programs in community youth sport settings. Background: This study identifies potential assets of the minibus taxi industry space and alerts taxi drivers to the expectations of various role-players in education, through understanding the views of various role-players about minibus taxi drivers and their role in supporting education. Aim: Viewing the minibus taxi industry through alternative lenses may lead to development which may ultimately lead to an improvement in the attitudes of the taxi industry towards the education sector and perceived negative behaviour of taxi drivers. Setting: The study took place at three schools in Gauteng, South Africa. Methods: The study followed an interpretive, qualitative research approach for exploring and understanding various views. A case study design using Lefebvre’s, ‘Production of Space’ theory and asset-based theory, were used as a theoretical framework in conjunction with the Johari Window model. Convenient sampling was applied. Focus group interviews, semi-structured questionnaires, fieldnotes, and observation were used for data collection and construction. Results: The results indicated that views which are embedded in individuals have many facets; hence, it is important to be aware of them to be able to identify the assets of minibus taxi drivers. Conclusion: Minibus taxi drivers are key role players, valuable facilitators and role models for learners, although educational development is needed. Contribution: Very little work has been done on the educational value of spaces such as taxis and transport vehicles; this research adds considerable value to this research lacuna.

Social media (SoMe) refers to a variety of virtual platforms used to enhance sharing of information. To evaluate the influence of SoMe with regards to views and downloads of published dermatology articles, we conducted a retrospective study from July 2020-March 2021 examining articles published on Instagram and Twitter under Dermatology Online Journal (DOJ) accounts and compared these with type-matched and issue-matched articles that were not posted on social media. During this time period, 163 total articles of the three types used for social media (Case Report, Case Presentation, and Photo Vignette) were published in DOJ and 15 were promoted via SoMe. Purpose: The goal of this article is to verify if the observations of different views described by Jan Winiecki in the article Reflections on teaching economics: some observations and some proposals are also present in the teaching of accounting. It also investigates whether the proposals for developing a uniform way to present content are applicable in this area. Methodology/approach: The study was carried out based on the assumption that accounting plays a central role in a rational economy and used the critical analysis of the literature and student surveys.Findings: The answers to the questions lead to the conclusion that most students expected their lecturers views to be uniform, although, in reality, there are minor differences. Conclusions regarding the reasons for the expectation of uniformity focus on the ease of understanding, examination and graduation considerations, opportunities to broaden awareness, and to make accounting choices independently. Research limitations: A limitation is the number of respondents. Another limitation is that this research presents only the view of one group students.Originality/value: In accounting, different views can be presented. The main differences at the macro level relate to the purpose and objective of reporting, while at the micro level, they appear in the areas of valuation, simplification, and disclosures. To formulate and achieve learning outcomes, it is necessary to decide whom, what, and for what purpose a university teaches.

Objectives: This study investigates the e-learning barriers experienced by Palestinian high school mathematics and science teachers in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Directorate amid the COVID-19 pandemic and assesses the differences in teachers’ views of these barriers. Methods: A Stratified random sample that consisted of (104) participants from Ramallah and Al Bireh Directorate was recruited. Electronic questionnaires were used, and the descriptive statistical analysis was conducted to answer the research questions. The mean and standard deviations of responses for all the barrier options were calculated. An independent t-test and ANOVA were employed to examine differences between barriers according to the participants’ perceptions. The Scheffé test was also used to examine the differences between groups. Results: The findings showed that the level of barriers was high, with the highest barriers being at the students' level, followed by the curriculum level. The study found no statistically significant effect of specialization on the levels of barriers at school, curriculum, or academic qualifications. Conclusions: This research highlights the importance of overcoming learning barriers while maximizing the benefits of e-learning, emphasizing the significance of teachers' views during and after the pandemic.

The creative research project Views from Expatria: Photographing Place and the Self in transience by Dr Ioannis Galanopoulos Papavasileiou examines human displacement, identity, the role of place and its relationship to the transient condition of being in 'Expatria'. The project uses extensively the concepts 'view,' 'landscape,' and 'place.' In photography, art, and contemporary theory there is a history of conflict, convergence, and misappropriation about these concepts, which has informed the creation of the works. This article complicates the concepts and situates them within the practice-based project. The concept 'view of place' is revisited and reinstated as significant in contemporary setting and practice and examined side-by-side with the highly complex term, landscape. The term 'view of place' is chosen against older modalities of place representation in search of a more unrestricted definition that houses the hybrid studio practices embedded in Views from Expatria project. What are health professionals' clinical practices, views and self-rated competencies regarding the transfer of mosaic embryos? This was a cross-sectional study using surveys. Data were collected from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand. Ninety-five responses were analysed and reported. The results show that most health professionals (n = 62) discussed the transfer of mosaic embryos for different reasons and raised concerns regarding various risks. Although many health professionals were unsure whether mosaic embryos should be transferred, they were more inclined to encourage transfer if the scenario involved segmental losses compared with mosaicism involving duplication of the entire chromosome (i.e. trisomy 21) (e.g. OR = 0.21, P < 0.001; OR = 2.78, P = 0.04). The majority of health professionals would inform patients about the mosaicism to facilitate informed decision making. The factor that health professionals identified as most important when discussing the transfer of mosaic embryos was the specific chromosome involved. Different self-rated competencies were found among health professionals with different backgrounds. Geneticists and genetic counsellors had the highest self-rated competencies. Most health professionals were willing to discuss the mosaicism in the embryo with patients to facilitate informed decision making. However, health professionals' uncertainty towards the transfer of mosaic embryos indicated a lack of a standardized transfer policy. In addition, obstetricians, gynaecologists and those with multiprofessional backgrounds showed deficiencies in several self-rated competencies, suggesting that education targeted to these groups is needed to optimize the quality of care of women considering transfer of mosaic embryos. The project Views from Expatria: Photographing Place and the Self in Transience investigates the intersection between photography, expatriation, and an expanded context of human migrations. Expatriates, transient skilled workers, within today's ease of mobility for work can easily lose sight of "home." Recurrent transits and travels away from home are associated with the everyday experience of expatriates. Although there are many benefits associated with working abroad, these do not come without challenges for the expatriated individual. My creative work Photographing Place and Self in transience and this article reveal the social, political, and psychological complexities associated with the global phenomenon of expatriation. Using place photography and autoethnography away from practices and concepts of forced migration and refugee displacement, the work argues that living and working outside one's home country has a profound impact on the identity of the expatriate individual. The article reassesses the ideologies of place representation, mobility, and identity, highlighting their contents and disconnects and contributes to current discourses about expatriation and the transient self. The traditional roles of schools are inadequate to prepare students for the change. Thus, Design Skill Labs (DSLs) have been established in Turkey to provide opportunities for students at all levels of education to discover and develop their talents. Nevertheless, the activities currently available in DSLs are not yet sufficient or diverse enough. The aim of this study is to exemplify the process of developing an activity that can be implemented in DSLs and to obtain the opinions of pre -service teachers about them. Two out of six pre -service chemistry teachers planned the activity, and six pre-service teachers are participated in the study. The participants were senior pre-service chemistry teachers from a state university in Ankara. The data collected from the case study were analyzed using content analysis. According to the research findings, DSLs activities differ from other activities carried out in schools in terms of student and teacher roles, learning environment, research problem, and process. How do rodents' and primates' differences in visual perception impact the way the brain constructs egocentric and allocentric reference frames to represent stimuli in space? Strikingly, there are important similarities in the egocentric spatial reference frames through which cortical regions represent objects with respect to an animal's head or body in rodents and primates. These egocentric representations are suitable for navigation across species. However, while the rodent hippocampus represents allocentric place, I draw on several pieces of evidence suggesting that an egocentric reference frame is paramount in the primate hippocampus, and relates to the first‐person perspective characteristic of a primate's field of view. I further discuss the link between an allocentric reference frame and a conceptual frame to suggest that an allocentric reference frame is a semantic construct in primates. Finally, I discuss how views probe memory recall and support prospective coding, and as they are based on a first‐person perspective, are a powerful tool for probing episodic memory across species. Background: Technology is ubiquitous in all aspects of daily life and research interest in the topic of digital mental health interventions (DMHI) for people with intellectual disabilities is growing. In addition, the COVID‐19 pandemic has accelerated technology use in delivering mental health supports. Method: This review used a qualitative systematic literature review methodology with the aim of collating the views and experiences of adults with intellectual disabilities accessing DMHI. The electronic databases MEDLINE, PsycINFO, CINAHL and SCOPUS were searched in March 2022. Results: Five studies were selected in this review, and three major narrative themes were generated, each with sub‐themes: (1) User experience with DMHI (personal experience, digital experience); (2) Relationships fostered through technology (interpersonal support, relating to virtual characters, computer as skilled helper); (3) Psychological benefits (new skills development, personal autonomy development). Conclusion: This review highlights that, although there is a diversity of views and experiences of people with intellectual disabilities, the evidence suggests that DMHI has potential to support this population given the right opportunities. Findings also point to the benefit of technology as a complement to therapy, but not necessarily as a replacement to in‐person therapeutic encounters. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The successful application of the problem-based learning (PBL) approach requires feedback from the tutor to the student to guide the latter's learning process. The aim of this study was to characterise the views of a group of Chilean undergraduate students of Primary Teaching and their tutors regarding PBL methodology, and the role of feedback in it. Qualitative research was carried out based on a case study that gathered the views of students and tutors through a focus group. The methods of analysis adapted to the needs of this study are those derived from discourse analysis and especially from discourse in interaction in its three dimensions: interlocution (framework of participation), thematic (topic of discussion) and enunciative (enunciative positioning). The results indicate that students' views emphasised the inter-student collaboration involved in PBL, while tutors emphasised the motivational value of the methodology. However, both recognised the important role that feedback plays in enhancing learning opportunities. Knowing the views of both tutors and learners is central to improving PBL and feedback practices. The definition of such terms as ―generation of revolution‖, ―generation of revolutionary change‖ used in the literature includes people born after the 1890s., whose social formation and political activity occurred at the time of the revolution and civil war. At the same time, even narrower social groups can be seen within this generation, among which the author singles out the generation of the first Komsomol members as a specific social group that unites people of the same age and common opportunities. The participants in the revolutionary transformations, who were born in the 1890s, were already formed personalities: they grew up in a traditional environment, with its traditional values. Boys and girls who joined the communist union in 1919-1920 were for the most part born at the beginning of the 20th century. For them principles, values, rules, traditions, that remained unshakable and traditional for their parents, in the difficult conditions of a changing reality lost their exclusivity and absoluteness. The capability to have a different worldview, andbehavior, accordingly, was at a certain stage reinforced by certain forces that used it for their own purposes. At the same time, as it often happens in times of social change, social lifts began to work, giving teenagers real opportunities to break out of the reality that was predicted for them by their original existence and available opportunities. The formation of the ―generation of Komsomol members‖ in various regions of the country, with a common trend, took place under the influence of local subjective factors. Here, Orenburg region is taken as a region, the Orenburg province - the southeastern outskirts of the European part of the country. The source base is built on the sources of personal origin of the region in question.

Education– no one doubts – essentially represents a strong instrument that is used in the process of executing revivalist projects, but also ensuring a development and advancement of people both at individual and societal level. That is why reformers pay great attention to knowledge which they, more than arguably, any other constituency of people, regard as the most potent weapon that facilitates the success of reform missions. The basic and common belief is that people find themselves in whatever deplorable condition and state of backwardness owing to their neglect of knowledge, which then makes them trapped in the shackles of ignorance. As a result, stressing the value of education and demonstrating this through operational initiatives by way of sensitizing, reawakening, enlightening and orienting people via various methods and approaches commensurate with the existing realities are all considered as steps toward liberating people from the grip of ignorance which has enslaved them until they rise and decisively fight it. This article highlights and appraises the educational views, thoughts and philosophy of Shaykh Ja’far Mahmud Adam (d. 2007), one of Nigeria’s most prominent Muslim reformers and most influential scholars. The article relies chiefly on the recorded speeches of the scholar in which he articulated his views during public occasions such as weekly Friday sermons, mosque lessons, public lectures or private study circles, which then circulated among larger Muslim audience. The essay finds out that Ja’far’s views on knowledge permeate both religious and Western education which he felt that society must standardize before it develops.

Background Gender-Based (GB) intimate partner violence is a social and public health issue globally. Several risks of violence related to male sexual partners’ perpetration of intimate partner violence (IPV) following the disclosure of their female intimate partners’ HIV + status have been reported. No research has been conducted on male sexual partner’s perspectives of perpetrating IPV following their female intimate partners’ disclosure of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) seropositive status as a risk factor for the perpetration of IPV in Ghana.Objective The objective of this study is to explore and describe male sexual partners’ views or perspectives of perpetrating IPV following their female intimate partners’ disclosure of being HIV positive in Ghana.Methods Interpretive phenomenological approach was used to collect and analyse data from a purposive sample of 18 Male participants whose female intimate relations informed them of being HIV + in Ghana. The sample population was taken from Ghana because such research has been reported elsewhere but none has been done in Ghana. A semi-structured interview guide was used to collect the data. The interview guide covered topics such as background information, participants’ reaction to HIV positive disclosure, lived experiences of participants, and Participants’ understanding of different forms of IPV.Results The findings of this study reveal five main themes that emerged from the interviews which include views on the perpetration of emotional, psychological, and verbal abuse; views on the perpetration of sexual deprivation; views on the perpetration of social isolation; views on the perpetration of financial abuse and views on escalated perpetration of physical abuse.Conclusion From the data, HIV positive status disclosure served as a risk factor for different forms of GB IPV against HIV positive women in Ghana, thus making this group more vulnerable and exposed to more GB IPV. Strategies to prevent the perpetration of IPV against women newly diagnosed as HIV positive are needed. We recommend screening all newly diagnosed HIV-positive women for abuse as an additional prevention strategy for IPV associated with disclosure of positive HIV status. The book “Agaththinai Kolgaigal”, written by Professor Subbu Reddiar, serves as a mirror that can reflect the changes and unchanging traditions that have taken place over time in the internal world. Subbu Reddiar explains in detail everything from Sangam literature to contemporary literature, beginning with the interpretation of Agam life. In this book, in the section on Agaththinai Manthargal, he elaborates on who are the Agaththinai Manthargal and their characteristics. This article focuses on the concept of Subbu Reddiar. He divides his book Agaththinai Manthargal into three types, viz. The characters are called Thalaivan and Thalaivi in Tamil. Some others are related to them and are known as Mothers, Fathers, Nurses, Friends, Paangan and Prostitutes. Professor Subbu Reddiar also classifies them as those associated with the chiefs, the Kandor, the Arivar, the Kuththar, the Youth, the Guest, and the Theerpaagan. Professor Subbu Reddiar is like a psychologist who examines the nature of each character and the thought that perceives out of it. He explains that Thalaivi is a little girl when he falls in love and after marriage, he becomes so mature and corrects the Thalaivan. Like the Thalaivi, the Friend has an admirable place in the inner life (agam). She is like another mother who is supportive of the Thalaivi, a teacher who corrects the Thalaivan and corrects his mistakes, and a nurse who has the mentality to deal with the situation. Professor Subbu Reddiar says that the Thalaivan is the one who has loved the Thalaivi and is the one who has received pride and heroism altogether. Similarly, Professor Subbu Reddiar stimulates research thinking by inwardly exploring and comparing the special properties of each character. In this area, Professor Reddiar has used many research approaches such as comparison, analysis, descriptive study, evaluation and synthesis to bring the truth of his research. So, this article ponders over the facts evinced by Professor Subbu Reddiar on agathinai manthargal.

Professor N. Subbu Reddiar is a twentieth-century Tamil scholar, writer, professor, spiritualist, scientist, researcher, psychological thinker and a great man with a diverse personality in all fields. He was born on 27th August 1916 in Perakambi, Trichy, Tamil Nadu. He was born into an agricultural family and through hard work in his studies, he became a versatile man of Tamil rhetoric. He was involved in the field of science during his primary education. To highlight his writing, the Government of Tamil Nadu nationalized and honoured all of his 96 books. He studied the disciplines of science properly and became proficient in them with the principle that Tamil will prosper unless multidisciplinary texts were popularized in Tamil. He has a good understanding of Anatomy too. Na. Subbu Reddiar had written a book called “Namadhu Udal” (Our Body). He says that the human body is made up of five elements. He elicits that it is a mixture of the five elements such as land, water, air, fire and sky. So, the body needs to be taken care of to keep life in the body without physical and mental problems. Professor, in his book, explained the body as 1. Organ 2.Skin 3. Bone 4. Muscle 5.Brain Nerves 6.Our Sense 7.Digestive Zone 8. Blood Circulation 9. Respiratary Zone 10.Waste Zone, 11.Our Body and inside 12. Explaining the function of the organs with maps on the topics of anatomy and thereby striving for the well-being of mankind. All the instrumental reasons for living life to the fullest in this world are located in this body. It has been clearly explained by professor Subbu Reddiar to his Tamil readers. Based on the physiological notion that all of these vital organs, if in perfect condition, function in a good way and they can function as needed. Hence, the book “Namadhu Udal” (Our Body) will help us to understand the body simply where this article lays its justification.

The development of breastmilk banks is being established among the African population, including in Limpopo Province. However, the views of nurses directly handling the donated breastmilk in the province remain unknown. This study was aimed at exploring and describing the views of nurses towards breastmilk banking in the Mankweng area, Limpopo Province. A qualitative, descriptive, and explorative study was undertaken at a tertiary hospital and a rural feeder clinic in the Mankweng area. Purposive sampling was employed to obtain participants for the interviews. One-on-one, semi-structured interviews were conducted to explore the views of these nurses. Data were analysed using Tesch’s open coding method, with the information obtained being grouped into different themes and sub-themes. Almost all nurses were willing to donate their breastmilk to the bank. However, receiving donated breastmilk for their own children seemed to be a challenge due to the safety of the donated breastmilk, uncertainty about the screening process, and cultural issues. Although donation of breastmilk appeared to be well supported by almost all the nurses, the use of donated breastmilk seemed to be not fully acceptable. Increased awareness about breastmilk donation and banking should be prioritised in the province.

In Business Process Management, the decentralized execution of business processes is one of the main research topics. Several models for processes’ modelling in order to facilitate their execution, have been proposed. LSAWfP is among the most recent in this area: it helps to specify administrative processes with grammatical models indicating, in addition to their fundamental elements, the permissions (reading, writing and execution) of each actor in relation to tasks. In this paper, we present a model for a completely decentralized execution of processes specified using LSAWfP. The presented model puts emphasis on actors’ views: it then allows the confidential execution of certain tasks by ensuring that, each actor potentially has a partial perception of the processes’ states. The model thus solves an often sidelined problem in business process execution. To accomplish this, it relies on three projection algorithms allowing to partially replicate the processes’ global execution states (artifact projection algorithm), to consistently update the obtained partial states (model projection algorithm) and to deduce new coherent global states (expansion-pruning algorithm). The proposal of these algorithms, the proof of underlying mathematical tools’ stability and a proposal of their implementation, are this paper’s contributions.

Background: Connected mental health (CMH) presents several technology-based solutions, which can help overcome many mental care delivery barriers. However, attitudes toward the use of CMH are diverse and differ from a cohort to another. Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the global attitudes toward CMH use and assess the use of technology for mental care. Methods: This study presents a synthesis of literature available in Scopus, Science Direct, and PubMed digital libraries, investigating attitudes toward CMH in different cohorts from different countries, based on a systematic review of relevant publications. This study also analyzes technology use patterns of the cohorts investigated, the reported preferred criteria that should be considered in CMH, and issues and concerns regarding CMH use. Results: One hundred and one publications were selected and analyzed. These publications were originated from different countries, with the majority (n = 23) being conducted in Australia. These studies reported positive attitudes of investigated cohorts toward CMH use and high technology use and ownership. Several preferred criteria were reported, mainly revolving around providing blended care functionalities, educational content, and mental health professionals (MHPs) support. Whereas concerns and issues related to CMH use addressed technical problems related to access to technology and to CMH solutions, the digital divide, lack of knowledge and use of CMH, and general reservations to use CMH. Concerns related to institutional and work barriers were also identified. Conclusions: Attitudes toward CMH show promising results from users and MHP views. However, factors such as providing blended care options and considering technical concerns should be taken into consideration for the successful adoption of CMH. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Parental beliefs and motivation are instrumental in improving childhood digital media use (DMU). Parents (n = 611) completed questionnaires about childhood DMU assessing knowledge, interest in counseling, motivation to change, self-efficacy, and beliefs. Less than a third correctly recognized screen time limits. Twenty-seven percent received childhood DMU information from a doctor, while 46% stated they would like such information. Only 2% had a doctor-recommended DMU plan. Interest in DMU topics, motivation to improve, and management self-efficacy were moderate. Top negative beliefs were addiction to DMU (52%), sleep problems (39%), obesity (33%), social skills (33%), and inappropriate content (32%). Differences between age categories existed for social (48%, P =.01) and language (14%, P =.01) concerns (highest for toddlers), attention concerns (27%, P =.02; highest in preschoolers), and depression (13%, P <.001) and low self-esteem (8%, P =.04; highest in teens). Loneliness in childhood and adolescence is currently measured using questionnaires and checklists. The most used questionnaires for youth are psychometrically limited, partly due to the absence of the young person's voice from the measurement development process. Given this gap in the literature, the current study explored primary-school aged children's understanding and experiences of loneliness, providing new information about the experience of loneliness in childhood to better inform conceptualisation and measurement of loneliness in children. Interviews took place during the COVID pandemic and were conducted with six Year 4 and 5 children (aged 8–10 years) and analysed using hybrid thematic analysis. Findings fit with existing conceptualisations of social and emotional loneliness and provide novel perspectives on solutions, the importance of play, and children's perceptions of the adult experience. This article examines social workers' views on care order decisions in Finnish child welfare where the decision-making procedure takes place in either the social work or court domain depending on the parties' consent or objection to the care order proposal. Exploring this parallel decision-making system provides insights into the less studied characteristics of non-adversarial decision-making compared with those of adversarial decision-making. Based on the interviews of twenty-nine social workers, the findings present a binary view of social workers: the court domain is mainly seen as being an arena for the legal safety for families whereas the social work domain is a psychosocial, fluent and smooth arena for making care order decisions important to family members. The study points out potential misuse of the social work domain. Additional safeguards are suggested to complement the existing legal, professional and ethical safeguards as well as the re-evaluation of the role and nature of consent as a divider of the decision-making procedures. Returning rugby players to the sport following musculoskeletal injuries is a multi-factorial and challenging process. A cross-sectional observational study was conducted among health and sport practitioners involved with injured rugby players in South Africa. The views, current practices and barriers encountered by health and sport practitioners during return to rugby were investigated using a self-developed online survey. 64 practitioners participated in the survey including physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, biokineticists and sports physicians. Return to sport (RTS) protocols were considered important, however, participants also indicated that they were slightly more likely to use anecdotal protocols compared to published protocols. Time frames, stages of healing, pain and subjective ratings along with functional outcome measures (such as range of motion, muscle function and proprioception) and sport-specific skills were rated as important and commonly utilised in different RTS phases (i.e., return to non-contact, return to contact and return to matches). The most commonly perceived barriers encountered were related to lack of access and time-constraints. Return to rugby guidelines with consideration of a broad range of criteria and common barriers encountered should be developed to facilitate safe, practical and time-efficient return to rugby following musculoskeletal injuries. • Return to rugby progresses from non-contact to contact to matches. • Time, psychological, functional and sport specific criteria were reported. • Common barriers included time-constraints and lack of access. Access to higher education has been relatively addressed well globally, while student success rate remains a serious concern, given several issues around quality. This study therefore aims to explore the role of epistemic access for effective teaching and learning in higher education and it is keen to account student's experiences and views on regular and distance programmes. A questionnaire using google form was instrumented to gather both quantitative and qualitative data among students and graduates in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. Statistical analysis was used for quantitative data, while thematic analysis was used for qualitative data. The results confirm the theoretical claim that the pursuit of authentic knowledge is adequate when epistemic access is ensured. The study recommends that higher educational institutions offering both modes must fulfil their epistemic duties by ensuring epistemic access to students. In general, the participants in the study agreed that the regular university programmes are more conducive for epistemic access, while distance education has other advantages such as flexibility and affordability. The study contents that both modes have merits and demerits. It is, therefore, necessary that both are available at good qualities for students to benefit from them. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Dignity is key in the management of older patients as they approach the terminal phase of their lives. Thus, an in-depth investigation of healthcare professionals' (HCPs) viewpoints on this subject is pertinent. This study aims to systematically review the perspectives of HCPs regarding dignity and end-of-life care for elderly patients. Utilising the PRISMA guideline, 23 articles were included in the systematic literature review following a comprehensive literature search of three electronic databases: MEDLINE, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. Five broad themes emerged from the analysed articles and were summarised as the main findings: HCPs' understanding of dignity and patient needs, holistic patient-centred care, family support, coordination of healthcare systems, and uncertainty at the end of life and factors affecting advanced care planning. Overall, HCPs agree on various critical aspects of treatment in end-of-life care for older patients, especially relating to respect for patient autonomy, holistic and patient-centred care, and the family's role. Accumulated evidence suggests substantial progress in providing patient-centred care and recognising the family's role in dignified care for older patients. Nevertheless, more improvement is needed in the area of coordinating healthcare systems, uncertainty about disease prognosis, advanced care planning, and communicating effectively regarding the goals of care and limitations of treatment options. Objective: This study was conducted to explore frontline nurses’ experiences of the impact of COVID 19 pandemic and suggestions for improvement in the healthcare system, policy and practice in the future. Method: A qualitative descriptive design was used. Frontline nurses who were involved in providing care to patients affected with COVID 19 in four designated COVID units from the Eastern, Southern and Western regions of India were interviewed during January to July 2021. Interviews were audio-recorded and transcribed manually by researchers from each region and thematically analysed. Result: Twenty-six frontline nurses aged between 22 and 37 years with a range of 1–14 years of work experience following a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Midwifery and working in the COVID units of selected regions in India participated in the study. Three key themes emerged: ‘Physical, emotional and social health - an inevitable impact of the pandemic’ described effects of the pandemic on nurses' health and wellbeing; ‘Adapting to the uncertainties’ narrated how nurses accommodated to the uncertainties during the pandemic; and ‘An agenda for the future - suggestions for improvement’ emphasised on practical strategies for the future. Conclusion: The inevitability of the pandemic had an influence at a personal, professional, and social level with learning for the future. The findings of this study have implications for healthcare system and facilities by enhancing resources, supportive environment for staffs to cope with the challenges imposed by the crisis and ongoing training to manage life threatening emergencies in the future.

Abstract Background Home remedies are anchored in patients’ everyday life, but their use in Western cultures remains scarcely explored. Our objectives were to investigate primary care patients’ perspectives and use of non-pharmacological home remedies in Geneva (Switzerland). Methods In spring 2020, we conducted a cross-sectional survey among adult primary care patients in randomly selected general practices (N = 15). Patients were recruited in the waiting rooms and asked to complete a questionnaire about their sociodemographic characteristics, their home remedy use, and their expectations and reasons for using (or not using) home remedies. We employed descriptive statistics to summarise the data and logistic regression adjusted for clustering within practices to explore associations between home remedy use and participants’ sociodemographic characteristics. Results Three hundred fourteen of three hundred ninety patients agreed to participate in the study (participation rate 80.5%). Home remedies were used by 64.4% of patients. The main reasons given were for preventive purposes (55.3%), self-care (41.0%), as an alternative to conventional medicine (40.5%) and to avoid or delay a medical consultation (38.5%). One-third of patients considered that it was the GP’s role to spontaneously inform them about home remedies (36.4%), another third considered that it was the GP’s role to inform them, but only upon specific request (32.3%), and the last third of patients declared that it was not the GP’s role to provide information about home remedies (30.3%). Patients living in an urban zone (adjusted OR 2.1; 95%CI 1.0–4.4; p 0.05) and those with a tertiary education background (adjusted OR 1.9; 95%CI 1.0–3.6; p 0.05) believed that it was their GP’s role to inform them about home remedies. Conclusions Home remedies are used by a majority of primary care patients in Geneva. For a comprehensive and safe healthcare management in the context of patient-oriented medicine, more evidence-based research on efficacy and safety of home remedies as well as their place in primary care consultation is required.

Twenty-seven empirical studies were identified that empirically estimated the impact on property values of views of open space. The review differentiated between street level and high-rise building views. Among the 17 street-level view studies, only five found substantial premiums which ranged from 4.9% to 9.29%, while four others reported either a small increase in value or mixed results. Five studies reported low-elevation views had no impact. Three reported a negative premium which was antithetical to expectations. In all three cases the view was of forest land, not parks or open space. Only ten studies addressed the impact of views from elevated buildings and nine of them were undertaken in China. The highest premiums were for views of residential gardens which two studies estimated at 24% and 17.2%. Five studies reported view premiums for neighborhood parks averaging 5.6%, while two studies counter-intuitively reported that mountain views had a negative premium. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Gender-Based (GB) intimate partner violence is a social and public health issue globally. Several risks of violence related to male sexual partners' perpetration of intimate partner violence (IPV) following the disclosure of their female intimate partners' HIV + status have been reported. No research has been conducted on male sexual partner's perspectives of perpetrating IPV following their female intimate partners' disclosure of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) seropositive status as a risk factor for the perpetration of IPV in Ghana. The objective of this study is to explore and describe male sexual partners' views or perspectives of perpetrating IPV following their female intimate partners' disclosure of being HIV positive in Ghana. Interpretive phenomenological approach was used to collect and analyse data from a purposive sample of 18 Male participants whose female intimate relations informed them of being HIV + in Ghana. The sample population was taken from Ghana because such research has been reported elsewhere but none has been done in Ghana. A semi-structured interview guide was used to collect the data. The interview guide covered topics such as background information, participants' reaction to HIV positive disclosure, lived experiences of participants, and Participants' understanding of different forms of IPV. The findings of this study reveal five main themes that emerged from the interviews which include views on the perpetration of emotional, psychological, and verbal abuse; views on the perpetration of sexual deprivation; views on the perpetration of social isolation; views on the perpetration of financial abuse and views on escalated perpetration of physical abuse. From the data, HIV positive status disclosure served as a risk factor for different forms of GB IPV against HIV positive women in Ghana, thus making this group more vulnerable and exposed to more GB IPV. Strategies to prevent the perpetration of IPV against women newly diagnosed as HIV positive are needed. We recommend screening all newly diagnosed HIV-positive women for abuse as an additional prevention strategy for IPV associated with disclosure of positive HIV status. HIV positive status disclosure serves as a risk for the perpetration of IPV. Men are predisposed to violence upon hearing that their female heterosexual intimate partners are HIV positive. The rapid expansion of internet usage and related services like social media and blogs has increased people level of expressiveness in day to day life. Social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook facilitate people to interact and exchange opinions about people, products, and services. As a result, a vast amount of data is available online, in form of views, tweets, messages, audio, and videos. An interface is needed to collect gain knowledge and insights from the various tweets, views, and comments. Thus we have proposed the Twitter API-based Interface, able to perform Hashtag search and extract tweets from Twitter along with the ample number of fields related to the Twitter object. Using the interface, the 55 properties of each tweet is collect which uses for further investigations. The python-based library called Tweepy is use to interact with the Twitter API. Due to the availability of real-world data, various issues related to text analysis can be address. The problems such as Sentiment Analysis, Opinion Mining, Implicit and Explicit detection, genuineness of views and Opinion Spam detection can be address using the dataset availability.
