Investigativní žurnalistika, součást neustále se vyvíjejícího mediálního světa, je považována za činnost důkladného zkoumání, vyhledávání a sbírání informací. Na tomto významovém základě je zařazena do historického kontextu světového tisku. Prostřednictvím následného představení nejvýznamnějších osobností investigativní žurnalistiky a sledováním jejich činnosti se bakalářská práce zaobírá objektivitou v médiích, jejich morální silou a postupným vývojem etického kodexu. Na tomto základě stručně představuje hlavní světové investigativní kauzy druhé poloviny 20. století a podrobně se věnuje třem případům zveřejněných na stránkách deníku Mladé fronty Dnes mezi lety 2001 a 2007. Na jejich pozadí popisuje hlavní využívané investigativní metody, novinářova rizika a následné dopady na společnost po zveřejnění těchto případů., Investigative journalism, part of the constantly developing media world, is thoroughly defined in the introduction of this work, and - based on that definition - it is put in the historical context of the press in the world. Projekt Nové tváře představuje cyklus portrétů zabývajících se tématem identity a její ztráty, individualitou člověka a fenoménem ideálu krásy. Jednotlivé malby, které znázorňují různé pohledy na tutéž tvář, vycházejí z osobních výpovědí portrétovaného a jeho přátel. Máme tak možnost pozorovat konfrontaci „subjektivního“ a „objektivního“, přičemž tato „objektivita“ nabývá v rámci ostatních obrazů relativní hodnoty. Projekt poukazuje na problematiku vnímání sebe sama a zkoumá, jakým způsobem lidská percepce zkresluje realitu, zvláště pokud na člověka působí více faktorů, než jen vizuální obraz., The project New Faces is a series of portraits dealing with the theme of identity and its loss, human individuality and the phenomenon of ideal of beauty. Each of paintings depict different views on the same face, base on personal confessions of portrayed and his friends. Thus we can observe confrontation of the "subjective" and the "objective", where this supposed "objectivity" acquire the relative value in the context of other pictures. The project points to the problem of self-perception and it explores how human perception distorts the reality, especially if more factors (than just a visual image of reality) affects the person.
