Knee osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis is commonly seen in the elderly people and is affecting millions of people across the globe. On increasing age, weight and trauma; the flexibility and alignment of knee declines. Implants are inserted based on the types of metal alloys. Quality of life can be evaluated using various scales to evaluate the progress and function of knee before and after knee replacement surgery. Quality of life mainly depends on the severity of pain and the movement of knee after surgery. It also depends on individual’s physical, mental, psychosocial and psychological factors pertaining to the disease.

Leafy vegetables were conducted in the Rangpur city corporation of Bangladesh from October 2019 to December 2021. There were 44 species identified, divided into 33 genera and 20 families. Out of the recorded species, 69.44% were herbs followed by climbers (18.18%), shrubs (11.11%) and trees (2.27%) respectively. In the research area, wild species made up 34.09% of the total, while cultivated species made up 65.91%. The current investigation revealed that traditional knowledge about the use of wild vegetables is in urgent need of documentation as part of intangible cultural heritage. To meet the dietary demands of Rangpur city corporation residents, the use and cultivation of these leafy vegetables should be encouraged. The study can provide baseline data that can be used to prioritize conservation efforts through resource management that is both sustainable and environmentally friendly. In Rangpur City Corporation, major medicinal leafy vegetables were carried out. Thirty seven (37) therapeutic plants have been identified, with their usefulness for the treatment of over 40 ailments were recorded. The current study found that medicinal plants continue to play a significant role in rural communities. The information acquired from local traditional healers will be beneficial for further ethnobotany, taxonomy, and drug development studies using natural resources.

The present article focused on aquatic vascular plants diversity and their conservation status in natural and manmade wetlands habitats of Sadullapur Gaibandha. The study was conducted in between May 2019 to June 2020. A total of 52 aquatic plant species was recorded from Sadullapur Gaibandha in the present study. These are assigned to 35 genera under 30 families. For each species scientific name, local name, family, division, habit, habitat, use and status are provided. Ecological habitats analysis of aquatics shows variations. Among them, 37% species prefers to grow near the edge of water, 13% submerged, 11% as emergent, 11% as free floating and 28% as rooted floating in the aquatic habitat. In case of submerged species, they produce flowers on surface of the water. After pollination fruits remain under water up to maturation. Among them, 49% species used as fodder, 22% as medicinal, 4% as aquarium purpose, 9% as vegetable, 6% as edible, 10% as fish food in the study area. The population number of different aquatic plant species in habitats is not uniform. Overall analysis showed that 46% aquatic plant species in the study area found to be rare, 44% species found common and 10% species found as abundant. This status of aquatic plant species is very preliminary. Based on field observations and discussion with local people we are able to identify a good number of rare aquatic plants and also pointed some conservation measures for them in future. The investigation recorded a number of rare aquatic plant species from the study area. These areTrapa bispinosa(Singara),Nelumbo nucifera(Paddo),Nymphaea pubescens(Sada shapla),Oenanthe javanica(Panidhone),Nymphaea rubra(Lal shapla),Ottelia alismoides(Panikola),Enhydra fluctuans(Titidata) andCentrostachys aquatica(Thuash). Populations of such species in the wild are very rare because of local demand for the use. These species need to be cared for conservation.

Background & Objective: Poisoning in children is a leading cause of fatalities across the globe; around 2% of injury related deaths are incriminated due to accidental poisoning in the developing countries.1The objective of this study was to determine the frequency of patterns and contributing factors of acute accidental poisoning among children of age 5-10 years. Methods: A cross-sectional type of study was done at the Jinnah Hospital, Lahore from November 20, 2018 to May 20, 2019. All accidental poisoning patients were enrolled. General and specific management steps were carried out in all the cases. After discharge they were kept on follow up in Pediatrics Outdoor Patient Department. Information regarding their demographic data was noted in the proforma. The patterns and contributing factors of acute accidental poisoning among children were identified. SPSS v23.0 was used to assess the obtained data. Results: Age range in this study was from 5 to 10 years. Mean age of child was 7.3±1.6 years. Among 145 children, 89(61.4%) were males and 56(38.6%) were females. The result of the study were unsafe storage of household poison 94(64.8%), inadequate supervision 91(62.8%), working mother 49(33.8%), low SES 19(13.1%) and illiterate mother 13 (9.0%). Conclusion: Unsafe storage of household poison 94(64.8%) was the most common factor followed by inadequate supervision 91(62.8%), working mother 49(33.8%), low SES 19(13.1%) and illiterate mother 13 (9.0%).There is a need to arrange health promotion and protection programs at various levels through projects, brochures and electronic media campaigns so that the awareness of parents can be raised regarding accidental poisoning and they can observe preventive measures in the future to reduce its incidence .

Background: Myoma is the most common benign monoclonal neoplasm of the uterus with increased frequency during reproductive years of women. Case Presentation: A twenty two year old female presented with abdomen lump, dysmenorrhoea, and heavy menstrual bleeding. Multiple myomas were diagnosed based on clinical and radiological findings. Abdominal myomectomy was performed and 75 myomas were enucleated followed by reconstruction of uterus. The second case was a 28 year old married woman presented with heavy menstrual bleeding and dysmenorrhoea. Ultrasound reported single posterior wall myoma of 8´6.3´5.8 cm in size. Laparoscopic myomectomy was performed. At follow-up visit, both cases were completely free of any symptoms. Conclusion: Myomectomy is a feasible and safe option and a uterine preserving surgery even in the presence of multiple myomas. Setting appropriate criteria in selecting patients for abdominal myomectomy rather than MIS is essential to avoid conversion and associated morbidity.

Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) 2019 Globally, it is estimated that there were 10.0 million people suffering from Tuberculosis (TB) disease in 2017. It can be seen in Lampung that there was an increase from 2017-2019, which was 25%-54%. The government estimates that the number of TB sufferers will continue to increase. The increasing number of TB sufferers is caused by various factors, namely the lack of patient compliance for treatment and taking medication. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of adherence to the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs in category 1 tuberculosis patients at the Kalibalangan Health Center, North Lampung Regency. The methodology of this research is a descriptive survey with a cross sectional approach. The data on anti-tuberculosis drug adherence was obtained from MMAS-8 questionnaire filled out by TB patients. 36 respondents were included in the inclusion criteria consisting of 1 respondent (3%) in the low category of compliance, 4 respondents (11%) in the medium category and 31 respondents (86%) in the high category of compliance, and 31 respondents (86%) were in the category of high compliance. The results of the intensive phase TB patient adherence to category 1 TB treatment in this study showed that adherence to taking medication was classified as high. Abstrak. Data dari World Health Organization (WHO) 2019 Secara global, diperkirakan terdapat 10,0 juta orang (kisaran 9,0-11,1 juta) menderita penyakit Tuberkulosis (TB) pada 2017. Berdasarkan data angka penemuan kasus TB (CDR) semua kasus TB Di Provinsi Lampung dapat diketahui terjadi kenaikan dari tahun 2017-2019 yaitu sebesar 25%-54%. Pemerintah memperkirakan jumlah penderita TB akan terus meningkat. Jumlah penderita TB yang meningkat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, yakni kurangnya tingkat kepatuhan penderita untuk berobat dan meminum obat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat kepatuhan penggunaan obat anti tuberkulosis pada pasien tuberkulosis kategori 1 di Puskesmas Kalibalangan Kabupaten Lampung Utara. Metodologi penelitian ini ialah survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Data kepatuhan minum obat anti tuberkulosis didapatkan dari kuesioner Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8 (MMAS-8) yang diisi oleh responden penderita Tuberkulosis. Dari hasil temuan didapatkan sebanyak 36 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Tingkat kepatuhan dari 36 responden sebanyak 1 responden (3%) masuk dalam kategori kepatuhan rendah, sebanyak 4 responden (11%) masuk dalam kategori kepatuhan sedang, dan 31 responden (86%) masuk dalam kategori kepatuhan tinggi. Hasil kepatuhan pasien TB fase intensif terhadap pengobatan TB kategori 1 pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepatuhan minum obat yang tergolong tinggi.

Gestational diabetes (GDM) is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as any degree of glucose intolerance, beginning or diagnosed during pregnancy for the first time. The global prevalence of GDM is reported to be as high as 20%. This is why we initiated the present study. The main objective of this survey was to investigate the epidemiological profile of women with GDM in two referral hospitals of Yaoundé, Cameroon. This was an observational study with descriptive longitudinal historical design, conducted at the Yaoundé Central Hospital (YCH) and the Yaoundé Gynaeco-Obstetric and Pediatric Hospital (YGOPH). The study period was from January 2018 to January 2020 and the duration of the investigation was 7 months. Data was analyzed using SPSS software (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 20. A total of 34 pregnant women with GDM were identified out of 652. The overall prevalence of GDM was 5.2%. The mean age of these women was 31.8±4.4 years. Most women were multiparous (15: 44.0%). Majority (21: 61.6%) were followed by both gynecologist and endocrinologist. Known cardiovascular risk factors found were mainly smoking (34: 100%), low sports practice (20: 58%) and family history of diabetes (21: 61.1%), with first degree predominance 17 (80.5%). The first antenatal consultation (ANC) in average was at 12±2.5 weeks. Most women were symptomatic with cardinal syndrome comprising polyuria (32: 94.2%), polydipsia (22: 64.1%) and polyphagia (21: 61.6%). Majority (25: 73.3%) were managed with Insulin. GDM is prevalent and a major public health problem in our milieu. There is need for systematic screening to prevent adverse perinatal outcomes.

Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) merupakan program yang dicanangkan oleh kementrian kesehatan untuk menurunkan resiko utama penyakit menular dan penyakit tidak menular (PTM) terutama melalui intervensi gizi 1000 hari pertama kehidupan, memperbaiki pola konsumsi gizi seimbang seluruh keluarga, meningkatkan aktiftas fisik teratur dan terukur, meningkatkan pola hidup sehat, meningkatkan lingkungan sehat serta mengurangi konsumsi rokok dan alkohol. Data wawancara didapatkan hasil bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat sebanyak 48 % jarang memeriksakan kesehatan sedini mungkin, warga akan pergi kepusat kesehatan terdekat jika sudah mulai muncul tanda dan gejala penyakitnya. Pelaksanaan DD- PTM dilaksanakan dalam sehari, warga dikumpulkan dalam aula Kelurahan Bulustalan, Kegiatan diawali dengan senam kebugaran secara serentak, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Pemeriksaan kesehatan yang dilakukan yaitu pengukuran antopometri berupa tinggi badan, berat badan, lingkar perut, pengukuran tekanan darah dan pengukuran gula darah sewaktu. Dari 50 orang warga yang mengikuti pelaksanaan DD-PTM, sebanyak 24 % warga (12 orang ) baru mengetahui bahwa mengidap pra diabetes mellitus, , sebanyak 16 % ( 8 orang) sudah mengetahui bahwa menderita hipertensi dan diabetes mellitus, sebanyak 6 % ( 3 orang) memiliki lingkar perut lebih dari 100 cm, sebanyak 54% (27 orang) dalam kondisi sehat.Warga cukup antusias terhadap kegiatan yang dilaksanakan. Data yang didapat dalam kegiatan DD- PTM ini diserahkan kepada pihak Puskesmas Pandanaran sebagai rekap data status kesehatan wilayah binaan. Data yang didapat akan ditindaklanjuti dengan memotivasi warga untuk memeriksakan kesehatannya di Puskesmas Pandanaran.

Posyandu lansia merupakan pos pelayanan terpadu untuk masyarakat usia lanjut di suatu wilayah tertentu yang sudah disepakati, yang digerakkan oleh masyarakat dimana mereka dapat memperoleh pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan umum dibentuknya Posyandu lansia secara garis besar untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan dan mutu kehidupan usia lanjut agar mencapai masa tua yang bahagia dan berdaya guna dalam kehidupan keluarga dan masyarakat sesuai dengan keberadaannya. Agar posyandu berjalan dengan baik maka perlu dukungan dari kader, kader diharapkan bisa menjadi agent of change. Peran kader sebagai agent of change, dalam upaya pembangunan dapat diwujudkan dengan memberikan dukungan berupa berbagi pelayanan yang meliputi pengukuran tinggi dan berat badan, pengukuran tekanan darah, pengisian KMS (Kartu Menuju Sehat) memberikan penyuluhan atau penyebarluasan informasi kesehatan, menggerakkan serta mengajak usia lanjut untuk hadir dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan posyandu lansia karena itulah kader dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan membina, menuntun serta didukung oleh keterampilan dan berpengalaman.

Corruption is one of the biggest problems that is very difficult to eradicate in Indonesia. Indonesia is a country that is rich in natural resources, but Indonesia lacks character than its human resources. Corruption is also one of the obstacles why Indonesia is not currently a developed country. This is because state assets that should be used in the interests of the state, however, by irresponsible people are used for their own interests. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent corruption so that Indonesia can develop into a developed country. The purpose of writing this article is to: (1) know the typology of corruption; (2) knowing the bad effects of corruption in Indonesia; (3) knowing the criminal penalty against the perpetrator of corruption; (4) knowing how to prevent corruption in Indonesia. The writing method used is descriptive qualitative with the data source used by the author, namely library research, which is data obtained from existing literature from books, journals, the internet and other references that are in accordance with the research problem. In preventing corruption itself, of course there needs to be cooperation between the government and the Indonesian people. As the government apparatus who manages the state, it is necessary to manage state assets as well as possible for the interests of the state and society, while the people must believe in and support the work of government. With this cooperation, it is hoped that Indonesia will be free from criminal acts of corruption.

Geo-polymer concrete is totally different in materials and chemistry which is synthesized from waste material like fly-ash (Class F or C), rice husk along with binding solution which is free of cement. This paper gives an overall view of the process and parameters which effect the geo-polymer concrete till date. It is an inorganic 3D polymer which is synthesized by activation of aluminosilicate source like fly ash or GGBS (waste materials). Due to its high mechanical properties combined with substantial chemical resistance (magnesium or sulphate attack), low shrinkage and creep and environment friendly nature (very less amount of CO2 production in comparison with OPC), it is a novel construction material for future. Till date it was seen that the strength of geo-polymer concrete mostly depends on the molarities of the alkaline liquid NaOH& Na2SiO3 (are used for binding of materials.). It was seen that geo-polymer concrete made of fully Fly-ash or partial replacement by GGBS results with 80% reduction in CO2 emission compared to OPC, although the alkaline solution to some extent pollutes the environment.

Background and aim: Depression has always been a health problem for human beings. Historical documents written by healers, philosophers, writers, throughout the age point to the longstanding existence of depression as a health problem, and the continuous and sometime ingenious struggle people have made to find effective ways to treat this illness. In the study the aim to assess the level of depression between elderly living at old age home and living with families in Haryana. Materials and Methods: A comparative study to assess the depression between elderly living at old age home and living with families in selected Haryana. 100samples were selected by cluster sampling technique in each stratum have 50 samples. Data was collected with the help of Hamilton depression rating scale. Data analyzed by Descriptive (Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation) and inferential technique. Results: Level of depression among elderly living in old age home 2% having normal level of depression, 34% mild depression, 46% moderate depression, 4% severe depression, 14% very severe depression and Level of depression among elderly living with family members 46% having normal depression, 44% having mild depression, 08% having moderate depression, 2% having severe depression. Conclusion: The study shown that assess the level of depression between elderly living at old age home and living with families in Haryana. This study analyzes the role of internet utilization on individual income in rural areas of East Java and Peer Provinces (West Java and Central Java) using 2018 Sakernas data. This study uses propensity score matching (PSM) and a probit model to achieve the research objectives. The estimation results show that theprobability of using the internet in East Java is affected by individual age, working experience, formal and informal education, migration, financial management, and agricultural business. Furthermore, this study found that internet usage by individuals in rural areas of East Java Province has increased individual income.There is a difference in income between individuals using the internet and not using the internet, amounting to Rp263,400. When compared with Peer Province, the difference is still below Central Java and West Java, which respectively amounted to Rp323,325 and Rp283,357.

The world is moving towards more electric aircraft due to its benefits for more efficiency and less dependence on conventional energy. However, as conventional energy has its drawback of reduced total energy efficiency for aircraft, the use of more electronics is accountable for higher losses, unbalance currents, reduced power supply performance, and generation of harmonics. In this paper, a comparison among three conventional control techniques (Synchronous Rotating Frame, Sinusoidal Current Control and Constant Instantaneous Power Control) and advanced control techniques (ANN, fuzzy logic controller, genetic algorithm, adaptive blanket body cover algorithm, the combination of ANN & fuzzy logic controller and ANN with the application of genetic & adaptive blanket body search algorithm) for aircraft shunt active power filter has been proposed. Furthermore, the best control schemes for aircraft active power filters will be proposed to depend upon the THD of source current and voltage and the compensation time (speed).

The Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) device is gaining significance in utility applications, as it can handle high power values with a fast rate of exchanging energy at high efficiency. The large-scale invasion of renewable energy systems into grid give rise to many integration issues. This SMES can handle these issues due to its various features. In this study the role of SMES in tackling stability issues due to presence of wind generation farms is investigated. The Doubly Fed Induction Generators (DFIG) based wind farms are most popular due to their distinctive advantages. Their intermittent output power and sensitivity to the grid disturbances gives rise to stability issues. These problems require innovative and advanced control strategies. Here coupling of SMES with Static Compensator (STATCOM) (STAT-SMES) has been suggested for boosting the transient stability of the hybrid large-scale DFIG and Synchronous Generator (SG) system. For investigation different faults and fast speed wind variation are considered. This coupled controller can compensate the real and reactive powers along with fast damping of oscillations under test conditions of entire system. The chopper link of SMES is controlled using Fuzzy based intelligent system and Proportional Integral (PI) controller. The connection of SMES to STATCOM shows better damping and improvement in all variables. The comparative study among Fuzzy based STAT-SMES, PI based STAT-SMES, only STATCOM, and without any controller is performed using MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation outcomes indicate that proposed Fuzzy based controller is better than other control systems in different test conditions.

A pesar de que la tuberculosis es considerada la segunda enfermedad infecciosa más letal a nivel mundial, actualmente en nuestro medio se trata de una enfermedad infrecuente. Las formas de tuberculosis extrapulmonar han experimentado un aumento relativo motivado, entre otras causas, por la inmigración procedente de zonas endémicas. Cuando la afectación tuberculosa es a nivel vertebral, el cuadro se manifiesta como un dolor lumbar crónico, que suele asociar síndromes larvados, poco específicos y que puede concluir en un cuadro óseo avanzado por retraso diagnóstico. El diagnóstico supone un desafío ya que requiere de una alta sospecha y de un abordaje multidisciplinar. El tratamiento en la actualidad es médico, considerándose la cirugía en contadas excepciones. El manejo de la tuberculosis vertebral supone un desafío para el anestesiólogo, que tendrá que abordar el manejo perioperatorio, la antibioterapia, así como el tratamiento del dolor mediante terapia farmacológica o de técnicas intervencionistas.

With the adoption of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act in 2012, Congress recognized the need to spur economic growth by facilitating access to the public market. However, certain pieces of that Act seem to have created opportunities for companies to stay private longer and enhanced optionality in the decision to go public. Now, in light of private market expansion, and as the steady decline of publicly listed firms from the late 1990s peak continues, it is time for Congress and the SEC to make a comprehensive accounting of market structure and market participation. This Article contextualizes changes to the securities laws over recent years, raises key issues and concerns related to the effects of private market growth on the public market, and gives recommendations regarding how the SEC should move forward in its attempts to expand investor eligibility in the private market. In addition, it calls for the commencement of a special study to examine the structural issues and recent changes in both markets and recommend coordinated reforms to the regulatory structure. We believe that a more comprehensive regulatory approach is needed to ensure the appropriate expansion of the private market while protecting the public market and investors at large.
