Background. The object of research is the technological process of microarc oxidation, the subject of research is the quality parameters of the obtained oxide coatings on valve group metals and alloys based on them. The purpose of the work is to improve the quality parameters of coatings obtained by microarc oxidation through a comprehensive analysis of the influencing factors. Materials and methods. Obtaining oxide coatings on alloys D16, AMg6 and Ak5 by microarc oxidation using an electrolyte of composition 0.5 g/l NaOH and 30 g/l Na2SiO3 and various current densities: 15 A/dm2; 20 A/dm2; 25 A/dm2; 50 A/dm2. Results. A relationship diagram of technological regimes and parameters of oxide coatings obtained by microarc oxidation has been developed, which is used to analyze the causes that affect the quality parameters of the formed coatings. Oxide coatings were synthesized on samples of aluminum alloys D16, AMg6 and Ak5 under various technological conditions and electrolyte composition, which made it possible to identify and analyze the causes that affect the reduction in the quality of coatings. Conclusions. A method is proposed for monitoring the quality parameters of the formed oxide coatings in real time, based on the analysis of the deviation of the molding curve from the traditional piecewise linear form. more...
