Diplomska naloga preučuje problem samostojnega ličenja oseb z multiplo sklerozo. Multipla skleroza je avtoimunska bolezen, ki se največkrat pojavi pri mladih ženskah, njeni najpogostejši telesni simptomi pa so težave z motoriko, mravljinčenje, odrevenelost udov in tresavica, kar močno vpliva na proces ličenja obolelih. Naloga v raziskovalno-analitični fazi raziskuje bolezen, njen potek ter simptome, v poglobljeni raziskovalno-analitični fazi pa prek uporabniških raziskav (vprašalnikov in pogovorov z obolelimi) preiskuje relevantnost problema ličenja pri obolelih, težave, ki se pri tem pojavijo, in morebitne rešitve. Najpomembnejši zaključki poglobljene raziskovalno-analitične faze kažejo, da na trgu ni ličil, ki bi bila prilagojena prav osebam z multiplo sklerozo. Uporabniške raziskave razkrijejo ključne težave, s katerimi se soočajo oboleli z multiplo sklerozo, in sicer: oprijemanje izdelka zaradi odrevenelosti prstov in dlani, natančnost nanosa zaradi tresavice ter odpiranje izdelkov zaradi obeh omenjenih simptomov. V načrtovalski fazi sledi konceptualizacija in skiciranje idej, prototipiranje ter preverjanje rešitev. Končni rezultat diplomske naloge je modularni set za ličenje, ki vsebuje ohišje, v katerega se vstavijo ličila po želji, ter čopiče za ličenje, ki se nataknejo na prst in s tem preprečujejo, da bi izdelek padal iz rok. BA thesis studies the problems of independent application of makeup for people with multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease, which most commonly affects young women, the most common physical symptoms of the disease are problems with motor skills, tingling sensation, numbness of the limbs and tremor, which highly affect the process of putting on makeup. In the research-analytical phase, the thesis researches the disease, its course and symptoms, and in the deepened research-analytical phase it looks into the relevance of the problem of putting on makeup for the ill, problems that occur and potential solutions to these problems with the help of user research such as questionnaires and talks with the ill. Key conclusions of the deepened research-analytical phase show, that on the market there is no product for applying makeup specifically for people with multiple sclerosis. This phase also showed key problems that people with multiple sclerosis face, such as problems with holding the product beacuse of the numbness of the fingers, perciseness of the application because of the tremor and troubles with opening the packaging because of both of the mentioned symptoms. The design phase starts with conceptualization and sketching of ideas, which are then tested in the prototyping phase. The end result of the BA thesis is a modular makeup set which consists of the housing that holds the wanted makeup and makeup brushes, that attach on the finger and in thsi way prevent the product falling from the hand.

V diplomskem delu se ukvarjam predvsem s procesom, torej fizičnim delom, ki vodi do željene forme s principom odvzemanja, ki temelji na blokovnem formatu. Izhajam iz materialne kombinacije lesa in dodajanja steklenih elementov, s čimer vzpostavim medsebojno komunikacijo in simbiotsko povezanost različnih materialnosti. Ukvarjam se z vprašanjem, kako dva popolnoma nasprotujoča si materiala povežem v celoto (les in steklo), hkrati me zanimajo simbolika, miti in legende izbranega lesa. Pri nekaterih skulpturah se ukvarjam s problematiko statike, prezentacije samega dela, torej s problematiko skulpture v odnosu do prostora. Raziskujem kiparstvo v 20. stoletju, kjer so se umetniki ukvarjali z negativnim prostorom v skulpturi, prav tako je v tistem času prišlo do velike spremembe definicije kiparstva oziroma širšega polja umetnosti. In my thesis I am mainly concerned with the process, the physical work that leads to the desired form, the principle of subtraction based on the block format. My work proceeds from the material combination of wood and the addition of glass elements, thus establishing the intercommunication and symbiotic interconnection of different materialities. I am dealing with the question of how to integrate two completely contradictory materials into a whole (wood and glass), while at the same time I am interested in the symbolism, myths and legends of the chosen wood. In some of my sculptures I am dealing with the problem of statics, the presentation of the work itself, i.e. the problem of the sculpture in relation to space. I am researching sculpture in the 20th century, where artists were dealing with negative space in sculpture, and there was also a big change in the definition of sculpture, or the broader field of art, at that time.

Namen diplomskega dela je raziskati in analizirati mnoštvo pomenov, ki jih v sebi skriva element balkona. Tematike balkona sem definirala v odnosu do zasebne in javne sfere ter pogledala spremembe, ki so se v njih pojavile v času pandemije covida-19 in zaprtja javnega življenja. Ker dejanje prestopa na balkon nikoli ni nevtralno, sem se osredotočila na pomen zunanjega pogleda in posledično samoregulacijo osebe na balkonu. Za boljše razumevanje sem uporabila Panoptikon, arhitekturno idejo Jeremyja Benthama, in ga nadgradila s teorijo biopolitike in biooblasti Michela Foucaulta. Poskušala sem najti vzporednice med sodobnimi oblikami oblasti, kot jih definira Maurizio Lazzarato, ter relacijami, ki jih vzpostavi balkon. Ne samo da je balkon zaradi svoje pozicije moči v vertikalni hierarhiji simbolno povezan s podobo vladarja, ampak je prav tako skozi zgodovino priljubljen prostor za podobo pasivnega ženskega lika kot objekt želje moškega pogleda. Pogovori s tremi mladimi ženskami niso le raziskali pozicije ženske na balkonu, temveč so tudi poudarili dualnost občutka izključenosti in hkratnega močnega povezovalnega potenciala balkona. This work aims to explore and analyse the many meanings of the balcony element. I have defined the theme of the balcony in relation to the private and public spheres and examined the changes that have taken place in these spheres during the pandemic of Covid-19 and the closure of public life. Since the act of entering a balcony is never neutral, I have focused on the importance of the external gaze and the consequent self-regulation of the person on the balcony. For a better understanding, I used the panopticon, an architectural idea by Jeremy Bentham, and built on it with Michel Foucault's theory of biopolitics and biopower. I tried to find parallels between the contemporary forms of power defined by Maurizio Lazzarato and the relations established by the balcony. The balcony is not only symbolically linked to the image of the ruler due to its position of power in the vertical hierarchy, but throughout history, it has also been a popular space for the image of the passive female figure as an object of desire for the male gaze. The interviews with the three young women not only explore women's positions on the balcony but also highlight the duality of the balcony's sense of exclusion and its simultaneously powerful connective potential.

Diplomska naloga se ukvarja s problematiko prekomerne vlažnosti notranjega okolja enodružinske hiše. Namen je analizirati vpliv notranjega in zunanjega okolja na rast ter razvoj plesni in s pomočjo meritev mikroklimatskih parametrov ter izračunov parametrov gradbene fizike ugotoviti primerne rešitve za preprečevanje nastanka in rasti plesni. Metoda dela je vključevala (I) evidentiranje kritičnih točk notranjega dela stavbnega ovoja, kjer se je pojavila vidna rast plesni, (II) meritve toplotnih in vlažnostnih razmer v konstrukcijskem sklopu, (III) beleženje aktivnosti oz. obnašanja uporabnikov. Sledila je analiza rezultatov, kjer smo ugotovili odziv konstrukcijskih sklopov na rast in razvoj plesni. Rezultate meritev smo primerjali z rezultati U-Wert programa, kjer je bila izračunana toplotna prehodnost za obravnavan konstrukcijski sklop zunanje stene U = 1,50 W/(m2K), torej ta presega maksimalno dovoljeno vrednost 0,28 W/(m2K) po stari zakonodaji in 0,18 W/(m2K) po novi zakonodaji. Izračunan je bil tudi faktor fRsi skladno s standardom SIST EN ISO 13788:2013, ki predstavlja merilo za tveganje rasti plesni. Rezultati so pokazali tudi, da faktor fRsi ne preseže minimalne mejne vrednosti 0,75, torej je v obdobju izvajanja meritev obstajala nevarnost za nastanek plesni oz. kondenzacije vodne pare na površini. S pomočjo meritev in izračunov smo dokazali, da bi bilo potrebno stavbni ovoj sanirati z dodatno toplotno izolacijo (minimalno 12 cm za izpolnitev starih zakonskih zahtev in minimalno 20 cm za izpolnitev novih zakonskih zahtev) in parno oviro. Tako bi stavbni ovoj dosegel ne samo predpisan U-faktor, temveč tudi višjo površinsko temperaturo v ogrevalni sezoni (20,2 °C po starih zahtevah in 20,8 °C po novih zahtevah), fRsi pa bi postal večji od minimalne mejne vrednosti, s čimer bi se nevarnost za nastanek in razvoj plesni zmanjšala. Poleg gradbeno-tehničnih ukrepov se predlaga tudi osveščanje uporabnikov o ukrepih, ki preprečujejo nastanek plesni, kot so redno zračenje, izogibanje sušenju perila v notranjosti objekta in odmik pohištva stran od zunanjih sten. The thesis deals with the problem of excessive humidity in the indoor environment of a single-family house. The aim is to analyse the influence of the indoor and outdoor environment on the growth and development of mould and to identify suitable solutions to prevent it, using measurements of microclimatic parameters and calculations of building physics parameters. The working method included i) recording critical points of the internal part of the building envelope where there is visible mould ii) measuring thermal and humidity conditions in the structural envelope iii) recording occupant activity and behaviour. The results were then analysed to determine the response of the structural envelopes to mould growth and development. The results of the measurements were compared with the results of the U-Wert software where the calculated thermal transmittance for the considered external wall structural envelope was U = 1.50 W/(m2K), which exceeds the maximum allowed value of 0.28 W/(m2K) according to the old legislation [20] and 0.18 W/(m2K) according to the new legislation [21]. The fRsi factor was also calculated in accordance with SIST EN ISO 13788:2013 [8], which is a measure of the risk of mould growth. The results also showed that the fRsi factor did not exceed the minimum threshold value of 0.75. Therefore, during the measurement period, there was a risk of mould growth and water vapour condensation on the surface. The measurements and calculations showed that the building envelope needed additional thermal insulation (at least 12 cm to meet the old legal requirements [20] and at least 20 cm to meet the new legal requirements [21]) and a vapour barrier. Not only would this allow the building envelope to achieve the required U-factor, but also a higher surface temperature during the heating season (20.2 °C under the old requirements and 20.8 °C under the new requirements). What is more, the fRsi factor would become higher than the minimum limit value, thus reducing the risk of mould growth and development. In addition to the building and technical measures, it is proposed to raise the awareness of the occupants on measures to prevent mould, such as regular ventilation, avoiding drying of laundry inside the building or moving furniture away from external walls.

V diplomski nalogi se ukvarjam s temo neuspeha. Morda to počnem uspešno ali neuspešno, saj se obeh pojmov drži paradoks. Raziščem njegovo negativno konotacijo in kako se je odnos do njega spreminjal v preteklosti, tako v umetnosti kot vsakdanjem življenju. Opazim, da ima dojemanje neuspeha v umetnosti drugačno vrednost in prikažem, kako nam njegova uporaba lahko dobro služi. Razložim tudi razliko med napako in neuspehom, saj sta tesno povezana pojma. Podrobneje opišem Sizifovo delo, ki je osnova za praktično delo – video performans z naslovom 'Nikamor hitro'. Tako se naslonim na umetnike, ki se s to so se ukvarjali s to temo od leta 1960 naprej in se medtem sprašujem o produktivnosti tako posameznika kot družbe. In the bachelor's thesis, I discuss the topic of failure. Perhaps I do it successfully or I fail to do it because both concepts hold paradoxes. I explore its negative connotation and how attitudes towards it have changed in the past, both in art and in everyday life. I note that the perception of failure in art has a different value and I show how its use can be useful. Later, I explain the difference between mistake and failure since they are connected terms. I describe the Sisyphean task in more detail. It is the basis for my practical work – a video performance titled ‘Nowhere Fast’. Thus, I refer to artists who have dealt with the subject from the 1960s onwards. In the meantime, I wonder about the productivity of both, the individual and society nowadays.

Pri uresničevanju določenih stvaritev se v ozadju končnega izdelka vedno skrivajo tehnološki procesi, ki to stvaritev omogočijo. Ker so ti procesi pogosto skriti očem drugih, velikokrat niso deležni posebne pozornosti. Kljub temu so ti postopki nujni in ključni za realizacijo določenega izdelka ter še posebej pomembni za avtorja, ki mu dobro tehnološko znanje predstavlja trdno ogrodje, ob katerem se lahko razvija in mu določeni izzivi ne predstavljajo temeljnih ovir. V diplomskem delu bom ponudil vpogled v ozadje nastajanja kiparskega izdelka. Preko izdelka/naročila bom tehnološko opisoval vsak korak, ki je potreben pri nastajanju klasičnega kipa, namenjenega za umestitev v javni prostor. Posvetil se bom sami pripravi, ki je potrebna za takšen projekt, konstrukciji, modeliranju, odlivanju v bron ter analiziranju in reševanju določenih problemov, ki se ob tem pojavijo. Klasična skulptura mi glede na dosedanje izkušnje predstavlja največjo izrazno možnost. Stvaritev bom realiziral tako z znanjem, pridobljenim v dosedanjem delu študija kot z znanjem, ki ga bom pridobil z raziskovanjem omenjenega področja, ki ga bom obdelal v teku nastajanja diplomskega dela. In the process of making certain creations, there are always technological processes which make that creation possible behind the final product. Since these processes are often hidden from others, they may not receive any special attention. Nevertheless, these processes are necessary and crucial for the realization of a product and are especially important for the author, for whom good technological knowledge represents a solid framework. This framework enables the author to develop so that certain challenges do not represent an obstacle for them. In my diploma thesis, I will offer an insight into the background of the creation of a sculpture. Through the product/order, I will technologically describe each step that is necessary in the creation of a classical statue intended for placement in a public space. I will explore the preparation necessary for such a project, construction, modeling, casting in bronze and analyzing as well as solving issues that arise. According to my experience so far, classical sculpture offers the most possibilities for expression. I will make the creation with the knowledge gained during my studies and the knowledge I will gain from researching the field to be process during the creation of this thesis.

Diplomska naloga obravnava uporabo mikrobledenjemera za oceno svetlobne stabilnosti predmetov kulturne dediščine, z namenom, da bi izdelali oceno svetlobne stabilnosti izbranega gradiva. To je bila tapeta datirana med 1750 in 1850, izdelana v tehniki lesoreza na papirju. Naloga je sestavljena iz treh večjih poglavij: uporaba mikrobledenjemera v konservatorstvu-restavratorstvu, meritve na izbranem gradivu in ocena svetlobne stabilnosti izbranega gradiva. V prvem delu opišem mikrobledenjemer, njegovo uporabo, kako se interpretira podatke, ki jih dobimo z meritvami, in kakšna je uporaba teh meritev za namen izdelave priporočila osvetljenosti ob razstavljanju. V drugem delu naloge predstavim meritve, ki sem jih opravila na izbranem gradivu in kako so meritve potekale, zakaj sem jih delala ter kakšne so bile ugotovitve. Poleg tapete so tu tudi meritve na papirnih vzorcih, vzorcu usnja, dveh različnih slik na platnu v akrilni in oljni tehniki ter meritve na barvni fotografiji. V zadnjem delu sem izdelala oceno svetlobne stabilnosti in priporočila za razstavljanje tapete ter primerjala lastna priporočila s priporočili, ki so nastala pred meritvami. The bachelor’s thesis addresses the use of micro fadometer for lightfastness assessment of objects of cultural heritage with the aim of assessing the light stability of selected materials – a wallpaper dated between 1750 and 1850, made in the technique of linocut on paper. The thesis consists of three main parts: the use of microfadometer in conservation-restoration, measurments on selected material and assessment of light stability of selected material. In the first part, I describe the microfadometer, its use, how to interpret the data obtained from measurements, and the application of these measurements in creation of lighting policy. In the second part of the thesis, I present the measurements on selected material, the methodology and what the findings were. In addition to the wallpaper, there are also measurments on paper, leather, two different paintings on canvas made with acrylic and oil paints, and measurements on a color photograph. In the last part of the thesis, I formulated a light fastness assessment and display policy and compared the new policy with the policy formulated before the use of microfadometer.

Dandanes se beseda trajnostnost pogosto uporablja na različnih področjih in eno izmed teh je tudi gradbeništvo. Trajnostna gradnja objekta obsega projektiranje, gradnjo in vzdrževanje v celotnem življenjskem ciklu, v katerem so medsebojno uravnoteženi vsi štirje vidiki: zdravstveni, socialni, okoljski in finančni. Samo trajnost stavbe je mogoče tudi ovrednotiti z različnimi metodami, ki so bile razvite v tujini in so običajno prilagojene nacionalnim zahtevam držav izvora. V Sloveniji še nimamo uveljavljene in zakonsko zahtevane metode za ocenjevanje trajnosti stavb, zato je kot potencialno primerna metoda predstavljena shema Active House, s katero je izvedena analiza trajnostne gradnje na primeru enodružinske hiše. Metoda vključuje različne kazalnike trajnostne gradnje, ki pokrivajo tri glavna področja: ugodje uporabnika, raba energije in zaščita okolja. Zaključno delo, se osredotoča na ugotavljanje ustreznosti izbranih kazalnikov kakovosti notranjega okolja, ki se nanašajo na svetlobno okolje, toplotno ugodje, kakovost notranjega zraka in akustično ugodje. Kot je ugotovljeno v analizi dnevne osvetljenosti prostorov, ki smo jo izvedli s pomočjo meritev na terenu in simulacijo s programom VELUX Daylight Visualizer, prostori v izbranem objektu niso ustrezno osvetljeni (simulirane vrednosti: od 64,5 lx do 1260,9 lx, povprečna vrednost 233,7 lx, izmerjene vrednosti: od 74,9 do 445,4 lx, povprečna vrednost 245,6 lx). Prav tako smo s pomočjo meritev na terenu analizirali toplotno ugodje in kakovost notranjega zraka ter ju primerjali s kriteriji Active House. Kakovost notranjega zraka ni bila ustrezna (izmerjene vrednosti CO2: od 410 ppm do 2539 ppm, povprečno 1077 ppm), kar lahko pripišemo neprimerno nastavljeni stopnji prezračevanja in filtrom, ki so potrebni čiščenja oziroma zamenjave. Izbrane parametre akustičnega ugodja smo izmerili v obravnavanih prostorih in ugotovili, da ustrezajo kriterijem (izmerjena raven hrupa je znašala 33,4 dB). Na podlagi rezultatov smo določili tudi nabor sprememb, ki bi pripomogle k izboljšanju trajnosti obravnavane stavbe. Ti sta predvsem: redna menjava filtrov po navodilih proizvajalca in povečanje količine svežega zraka ob prezračevanju. Predstavljeni pristop nam služi kot zgled za oceno drugih kriterijev sheme Active House, ki se nanašajo na rabo energije in varovanje okolja. Vse predlagane izboljšave imajo uporabno vrednost tudi za uporabnika stavbe. Nowadays, the term sustainability is often used in various fields, including construction. Sustainable building construction incorporates design, construction and maintenance throughout the life cycle, where all four aspects are balanced: health, social, environmental and economic. Sustainability alone can also be evaluated using methods such as BREEAM, LEED, DGNB and LEVELS, developed abroad and adapted to countries national requirements. In Slovenia, we do not have a developed national method for assessing sustainability, so the Active House scheme is presented as a potentially suitable method, for analysing sustainable construction in the case of a single-family house. The method includes various indicators of sustainable construction, covering three main areas: user comfort, energy use and environmental protection. The final work focuses on determining the appropriate quality of selected indicators in the indoor environment, which relates to the daylight, thermal environment, indoor air quality and acoustic comfort. As found in the analysis of daylight, which was performed using measurements and simulation with VELUX Daylight Visualizer, the rooms in selected buildings are not adequately lit (simulated values: from 64.5 lx to 1260,9 lx, average value 233,7 lx, measured values: from 74.9 to 445.4 lx, average value 245.6 lx). We also used field measurements to analyse thermal comfort and indoor air quality and compare it with Active House criteria. The indoor air quality was not adequate (measured CO2 values: from 410 ppm to 2539 ppm, average 1077 ppm), which can be attributed to the inappropriately adjusted level of ventilation and filters that need cleaning or replacement. The parameters of acoustic comfort were measured and meet the criteria (the measured noise level was 33.4 dB). Based on the results, we also identified a set of improvements that would help improve the sustainability of construction. These are mainly regular replacement of filters by the listed manufacturers and an increase in the amount of fresh air for ventilation. The presented approach is an example for assessing other criteria of the Active House scheme, which refer to energy use and environmental protection. All the proposed improvements are also helpful for building users.

Cestne talne označbe so ključne za varnost na cestišču. Njihova učinkovitost in kvaliteta je močno odvisna od materiala, ki ga izberemo. V tej primerjalni analizi so te materiali primerjani in predstavljeni. Materialov je veliko, vendar so razdeljeni v štiri glavne skupine: barve za cestne talne označbe, vroča plastika, hladna plastika in trakovi za cestne talne označbe. Kakovost in učinkovitost materiala sta odvisni od številnih lastnosti. Tiste, ki zagotavljajo varnost cestišča so zakonsko predpisane in se med materiali ne razlikujejo bistveno. To so vidnost označb pri različnih pogojih, barva oznake in odpornost proti zdrsu. Obstajajo pa tudi lastnosti, ki za samo varnost cestišča niso nujne, vendar je njihova analiza pomembna za doseganje večje učinkovitosti cestnih talnih označb. Te lastnosti so: trajnost, pogoji za izvedbo, cena materiala in specifične in druge lastnosti. V diplomskem delu je tudi bolj jasno definiran pomen teh lastnosti in dejavniki, ki na njih vplivajo. Predstavljene so tudi njihove omejitve skladno s Pravilnikom o prometni signalizaciji in prometni opremi na cestah in standardom SIST EN 1436:2018. Nato so lastnosti še dejansko primerjane. Ugotovljeno je, da je v večini primerov najboljša hladna plastika, vendar obstajajo situacije, kjer se bolje izkažejo ostali materiali. Na koncu je prikazano kako in kdaj se uporabljajo materiali na državnih cestah v Sloveniji. Na avtocestah in hitrih cestah se praviloma uporabljajo debeloslojni materiali, na ostalih cestah pa je to odvisno od želj naročnika. Pavement markings are crucial for road safety. Their efficiency and quality strongly depends on the material we choose. In this comparative analysis, these materials are compared and presented. There are many materials, but they are divided into four main groups: paints for road floor markings, thermoplastics, cold plastics and strips for pavement markings. The quality and efficiency of the material depends on many characteristics. Those that ensure the safety of the road are legally prescribed and do not differ significantly between materials. These are light reflectance under various conditions, color of the markings and skid resistance. However, there are also characteristics that are not necessary for the safety of the road, but their analysis is important for achieving greater effectiveness of pavement markings. These characteristics are: durability, instalment conditions, material price and specific and other properties. The senior thesis also more clearly defines the meaning of these characteristics and the factors that influence them. Their restrictions in accordance with the rules on traffic signals and traffic equipment on roads in Slovenia and the standard SIST EN 1436:2018. Next, the properties are actually compared and presented. Cold plastic has been found to be the best in most cases, but there are situations where other materials perform better. At the end, it is shown how and when the material is used on state roads in Slovenia. On motorways and expressways, thick-layer materials are generally used, while on other roads this depends on the client's wishes.

V diplomski nalogi je opisana in izvedena poenostavljena ocena potresne zmogljivosti stavbe Fakultete za gradbeništvo in geodezije Univerze v Ljubljani, zgrajene leta 1969. Geometrija stavbe in karakteristike vgrajenih materialov so prevzete iz prejšnje študije. Za oceno potresne zmogljivosti stavbe je uporabljena metoda N2, ki je del standarda Evrokod 8, vendar je potisna krivulja nadomeščena z poenostavljeno potisno krivuljo, ki je definirana z začetno togostjo, nosilnostjo in deformacijsko kapaciteto konstrukcije. Začetna togost je bila ocenjena z uporabo linearne analize tridimenzionalnega numeričnega modela konstrukcije. Nosilnost konstrukcije je bila določena po modelu minimalne nosilnosti, ki je vključen v japonski pravilnik za oceno potresne zmogljivosti stavb, deformacijska kapaciteta konstrukcije pa na podlagi nelinearnih pomikov kritičnih elementov v kritični etaži, ki so izračunani z enačbo v zaključeni obliki. Tako za vzdolžno kot prečno smer se za kritična elementa konstrukcije izkažeta veliki armiranobetonski jedri v prvem nadstropju. Ocenjena potresna zmogljivost je precej odvisna od nihajnega časa. Izražena z maksimalnim pospeškom tal pri mejnem stanju blizu porušitve stavbe znaša 0,40 g v vzdolžni in 0,23 g v prečni smeri. Tako določena potresna zmogljivost je nižja od potresne zmogljivost stavbe, ki je bila ocenjena v predhodni študiji na osnovi konvencionalne potisne analize, za 25,4 % v vzdolžni smeri in 8,0 % v prečni smeri. Manjšo razliko smo opazili za primer, ko nihajnega časa nismo dodatno zmanjšali zaradi vpliva idealizacije potisne krivulje. This graduation thesis presents a simplified seismic performance assessment of the building of the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering building of the University of Ljubljana, constructed in 1969. The building's geometry and material characteristics were taken from previous studies. A simplified seismic performance assessment of the building was carried out by the N2 method, which is part of the Eurocode 8 standard, but the pushover curve was replaced by the simplified pushover curve defined by the initial stiffness or the fundamental period, strength and deformation capacity of an analysed building. The initial stiffness and the fundamental building period were determined on the basis of the three-dimensional numerical model of the structure. The strength of the building was estimated according to the minimum load-carrying capacity of a Japanese guidebook, while the deformation capacity of the structure was estimated on the basis of nonlinear limit-state displacements of critical elements of the critical storey, which were calculated with by the equation in closed-form. For both the longitudinal and transverse directions, large wall cores of the first storey proved to be the critical elements of the structure. The seismic performance of the building, expresses in terms of peak ground acceleration, is significantly dependent on the fundamental period of the building. The peak ground acceleration causing exceedance of the near-collapse limit state amounted to 0.40 g and 0.23 g in the longitudinal and transverse directions, respectively. The estimated seismic performance of the building is lower than that in a previous study based on a conventional pushover by 25,4 % and 8,0 %, respectively, for the longitudinal and transverse direction of the building. A smaller difference was observed for the case without further reduction of the fundamental building period due to the effect of the idealisation of the pushover curve.

V diplomski nalogi je obravnavana prostorska ureditev naselja Šentvid pri Stični v občini Ivančna Gorica. Glavni namen naloge je bil izdelava predloga prostorske ureditve podeželskega naselja. Naloga je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in praktičnega dela. V teoretičnem delu so prikazane značilnosti slovenskega podeželja, izhodišča za planiranje podeželskega prostora ter normativne ureditve. V praktičnem delu je na začetku predstavljeno obravnavano območje, demografska analiza, analiza zaposlitve, pregled obstoječih prostorskih načrtov in nato izdelane prostorske analize. Na podlagi ugotovitev analitičnega dela sta bila izdelana koncept in predlog zasnove prostorske ureditve naselja. Na koncu so podane še smernice za njegovo implementacijo v prostoru. The diploma thesis deals with the spatial planning of Šentvid pri Stični settlement in the municipality of Ivančna Gorica. The main purpose of the assignment was to prepare a proposal for the spatial development of a rural settlement. The task consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part presents the characteristics of the Slovenian countryside, the starting points for rural spatial planning and the normative regulation. The practical part starts with an introduction to the area, a demographic analysis, employment analysis, overview of existing spatial plans and the spatial analyses. Based on the findings of the analytical work, a concept and an objective for the spatial planning of the settlement were prepared. In the end spatial planning is completed by guidelines for its implementation in space.

V diplomski nalogi z naslovom Varovanje parkiranih preprostih osebnih vozil na javnih površinah sem raziskala možnosti parkiranja in zaklepanja ne le koles, temveč tudi skirojev in rolk. Raziskala sem javne prostore, ki so namenjeni parkiranju teh vozil in varnostne sisteme, ki jih najdemo na trgu in njihovo uporabo. Zadala sem si cilj oblikovati parkirno mesto, ki je prilagojeno vsem trem preprostim osebnim vozilom. Ker je zaradi vključevanja parkirnega mesta v okolico zelo pomemben tudi videz v povezavi z različnimi okolji, sem kot končno rešitev oblikovala družino stojal, namenjenih različnemu vključevanju v okolico. In my diploma thesis "Protection of parked simple personal vehicles in public areas", I explored the possibilities of parking and locking bicycles, scooters and skateboards. I researched the public spaces dedicated to parking these vehicles and the security systems on the market. I set out to design a parking space that is adapted to all three simple personal vehicles. However, because of the inclusion of a parking space in the surroundings, the appearance in connection with different environments is also very important, so as a final solution I designed a family of stands intended for different integration into the surroundings.

Diplomska naloga obravnava področja igral, modularnega in nadgradljivega pohištva. Postavljena je bila hipoteza, da se otroško pohištvo hitro zavrže. Ta je bila potrjena s pomočjo uporabniške raziskave. V raziskovalni fazi so bile pridobljene informacije o uporabnikovih potrebah, materialih, postopkih izdelave ter o področju pedagoških smernic za oblikovanje kvalitetnih igrač in igral. Načrtovalski del vsebuje snovanje modularnih elementov, dodatkov, predvidevanje njihovih načinov uporabe ter hitre prototipe. Rezultat tega procesa je modularno igralo, ki ponuja nadgradljive elemente. Predstavljene so tudi možne rešitve za alternativno uporabo igrala, kot na primer shranjevalno pohištvo. S tem starše spodbuja, da sestava ne zavrže, ampak mu dodelijo novo funkcijo in ga otrok še naprej uporablja. The thesis focuses on toys / playground equipment, modular and upgradeable furniture. The hypothesis that children's furniture is quickly junked was put forward and confirmed by user analysis. The research phase gathered information on user needs, materials, manufacturing processes and pedagogical guidelines for the designing quality toys and games. The design part involves designing modular elements, accessories, anticipating their uses and quick prototyping. The result is a modular playground that offers upgradeable elements and possible solutions for alternative uses of the playground, such as storage furniture. This encourages parents not to throw away the composition, but give it a new function and let the child continue to use it.

V diplomskem delu je podrobneje opisan proces oblikovanja modularnega razstavnega sistema, ki je namenjen razstavljanju in prodaji oblikovalskih izdelkov. Zasnova temelji na možnosti hitrega sestavljanja in razstavljanja želene kompozicije. Sistem zaradi svoje učinkovite modularne zasnove omogoča raznolike načine sestavljanja želenih kompozicij. V prvem, analitično-raziskovalnem delu, sem podrobneje pregledal in opisal zgodovino pop- up stojnic, analiziral nekaj že obstoječih primerov na trgu in spremembe v prodaji skozi pandemijo COVID-19, opredelil ciljne skupine in njihove potrebe, ter anketiral in izprašal potencialne uporabnike. V nadaljevanju sem se na podlagi opravljene raziskave lotil načrtovanja. Skozi načrtovalno fazo sem predstavil postopek oblikovanja izdelka, ki sem ga začel s postavljanjem oblikovalskih izhodišč, eksperimentiranjem in iskanjem najprimernejše rešitve. Na podlagi ugotovitev sem nato dokončno izoblikoval svojo rešitev. V samem zaključku sem končne rešitve predstavil in prikazal s slikovnim gradivom ter 3D vizualizacijami. The thesis describes in detail the design process of a modular exhibition system. The concept is based on the possibility of quick and easy assembly, display and storage of the modules, which allows for a variety of ways in which to create exhibition spaces. In the first, analytical-research part, I reviewed and described in detail the history of pop-up stands, analysed some existing examples on the market, analysed the changes in sales through the COVID-19 pandemic, identified target groups and their needs, and interviewed its potential users. I then proceeded my work on the basis of the caried out reasearch. Throughout the design phase, I presented the process of product design, which I started by setting design baselines and experimenting. I then finalised my solution based on my findings. In the very end, I presented and illustrated the final solution with images and 3D visualisations.

Pogledi na grdo so raznovrstni in le nekateri od njih so v strokovni literaturi temeljiteje obravnavani. V diplomskem delu skozi analizo referenčnih avtorjev proučujem pojave in dojemanje grdega v zahodni kulturi z vidika teorije estetike, zgodovine, umetnosti in filozofije. Grdoto v vsakdanjem življenju pogosto srečujemo, nima pa enotne definicije svoje vloge za posameznika in družbo. Sprašujem se, kaj je grdo na osebni in kulturni ravni, kako priti do grdega in ga prepoznati ter zakaj je grdo potrebno in uporabno. Definiram pojme estetika, gledanje, videnje, fotografska in estetska percepcija. Ugotovitve poenotim v tri kategorije grdega in opisujem proces iskanja ustreznih podob grdega okoli sebe. Te na koncu najdem v sebi in zgradim objekt, ki služi kot motiv za serijo fotografij in fotozin. Ugotavljam, da se grdo vedno vzpostavlja v odnosu do gledalca v svojem bistvu je stvar percepcije posameznika. Enotnega odgovora na Kaj je grdo? ni, in to hkrati tudi je odgovor. Views on the ugly are diverse and only a few of them are more thoroughly discussed in the technical literature. In my dissertation, through the analysis of referential authors, I study the phenomena and perceptions of the ugly in Western culture from the perspective of the theory of aesthetics, history, art and philosophy. Ugliness is often encountered in everyday life, but it does not have a unified definition of its role for the individual and society. I wonder what is ugly on a personal and cultural level, how to get to the ugly and recognize it, and why the ugly is necessary and useful. I define the concepts of aesthetics, viewing, seeing, photographic and aesthetic perception. I unify the findings into three categories of ugly and describe the process of finding relevant images of ugly around me. I eventually find these in myself and build an object that serves as a motif for a series of photographs and a photozin. I find that ugly is always in relation to the viewer it is essentially a matter of individual perception. There is no single answer to What is ugly?, and that at the same time is the answer.

Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti, kateri konstrukcijski sklop strehe je stroškovno najbolj upravičen, glede na življenjsko dobo, uporabljene materiale in energijsko učinkovitost njihove zasnove. Analiza dela temelji na sedmih scenarijih, razvrščenih v tri skupine po podobnosti, ki vključujejo prenovo strehe reprezentativne Slovenske stanovanjske hiše. Analizirani konstrukcijski sklopi izpolnjujejo vse zahteve po Pravilniku o učinkoviti rabi energije v stavbah. Scenariji vključujejo tako minimalne prenove kot tudi scenarije z bolj celovito prenovo in zamenjavo celotne nosilne konstrukcije strehe. Z uporabo t. i. standardnih in nadstandardnih materialov ter raznoliko kvaliteto vgrajenih elementov, so scenariji približek raznolikosti, ki se pojavlja v praksi. Vsak posamezni scenarij je obravnavan preko energijskega modela hiše, izdelanim v programu KI energija, ki so mu dodani podatki o materialih - gradnikih posameznega dela stavbe. V programu OneClickLCA pa so bili na podlagi izračuna energijske učinkovitosti ter ocenjenih investicijskih stroškov analizirani vseživljenjski stroški stavbe za obdobje 40 let. Medsebojna primerjava scenarijev, skozi njihovo življenjsko dobo, je razvidna s časovno odvisne analize stroškov. Ugotovljeno je, da se na dolgi rok izplača uporaba t. i. nadstandardnih materialov in kvalitetnih elementov, ter da visoki vhodni stroški, še ne pomenijo višjih stroškov, ob koncu življenjske dobe stavbe. Pridobljeni rezultati raziskave, zaradi upoštevanja faze zamenjave dotrajanih materialov, realistično prikažejo visoka medsebojna razlikovanja in odstopanja. Kljub pridobljenim rezultatom pa je zaključeno, da je najoptimalnejši scenarij odvisen od namembnosti nepremičnine in finančnih zmožnosti njenega investitorja. The purpose of this thesis is to determine which structural assembly of the roof is the most cost-effective, given the service life, materials used and energy efficiency of their design. The analysis is based on seven scenarios, divided into three groups according to similarity, which include the renovation of the roof of a representative Slovenian residential house. The analyzed construction assemblies meet all the requirements of the Regulations on the efficient use of energy in buildings. Scenarios include both minimal renovations as well as scenarios with a more comprehensive renovation and replacement of the entire load-bearing structure of the roof. Using so-called standard and above-standard materials and the diverse quality of the built-in elements, the scenarios are an approximation of the diversity that occurs in practice. Each individual scenario is considered through the energy model of the house, made in the KI energy program, to which data on the materials - building blocks of each part of the building were added. In the OneClickLCA program, the life costs of the building for a period of 40 years were analyzed on the basis of the calculation of energy efficiency and estimated investment costs. The mutual comparison of scenarios, through their lifetime, is evident from the time-dependent cost analysis. It has been established that the use of so-called above-standard materials and quality elements pays off in the long run, and that high entrance costs do not mean higher costs at the end of the building's lifespan. The obtained research results, due to the consideration of the phase of replacement of worn-out materials, realistically show high mutual differences and deviations. Despite the obtained results, it is concluded that the best-case scenario depends on the purpose of the property and the financial capabilities of its investor.

Na začetku delim svojo osebno izkušnjo, ki me je pripeljala do raziskovanja živalskih čustev in nato naprej do odkrivanja upodabljanja živalskih čustev v umetnostni zgodovini ter mojih osebnih umetniških stv aritvah. P redstavim svoja odkritja o tem, kako da leč je prišla znanost z iskanjem odgovorov na že stara vprašanja, in sicer podam ugotovitve znanstvenih poskusov z različnimi vrstami živali. Nato predstavim različne umetnike, ki to prikažejo v nedavni zgodovini od renesanse, romantike, moderne do sodob ne umetniške prakse. Na koncu vse to povežem s svojimi umetniškimi deli in predstavim svoj ustvarjalni proces. In the beginning I share my personal experience that led to this research on animal emotions and further to exploration of presentations of animal emotions in art history and my personal artistic creations. Mainly I present my findings on how far science has come with answering that age old question by sharing the results of scientific experiments with different species of ani mal s , while later I delve into how different artist s have shown this in recent history, in the renaissance, romantic, modern and contemporary art practices. Finally I relate that to my own work and expand a bit upon the creative process behind it.

Diplomsko delo se ukvarja s proučevanjem modne fotografije v obdobju kriznega zgodovinskega trenutka. V prvem delu je predstavljen zgodovinski pregled modne fotografije. V nadaljevanju sledi analiza modnih publikacij in njihove vloge v distribuciji modne podobe. Sledi premislek o modni fotografiji kot komercialnem ali umetniškem delu, kot tudi o družbenem komentarju v modni fotografiji, kjer sta podani analizi dveh primerov. Kot izhodišče je postavljena potencialna vzporednica kriznega trenutka sedanje pandemije z obdobjem španske gripe med obema vojnama, sledi vpogled v kratko zgodovinsko analizo obdobja nadrealizma, od koder so črpana glavna vizualna izrazna sredstva za nastanek praktičnega dela, postavljenega nazaj v sedanjost pandemije. Predstavljeni so tudi ključni avtorji za razvoj mojega avtorskega dela, kjer opišem in analiziram izhodišča, izvedbo in ovrednotenje nastalega dela v končnem formatu fotoknjige. The key subject of the thesis is researching fashion photography in a historical moment of crisis. The first chapter defines fashion photography through history. It is followed by an analysis of the role of fashion photography and fashion publishing in disseminating the fashion image. The third chapter discusses fashion photography as art or commerce. The following chapter contemplates fashion photography as a critical social message through two case studies. As the conceptual starting point, a potential parallel is drawn between the timeframe of World War One and Spanish influenza against the crisis of the current pandemic. For further analysis, there is a short chapter on surrealism that serves as a potential source for the visual means used in the practical part, set back in the presence of the pandemic. A few key authors, fundamental to the development of my work are mentioned, and lastly, the analysis of the practical part where I describe and analyze the starting points, execution, and evaluation of the final work which will be the format of a photobook.

Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na visečo mrežo kot zatočišče ter problematiko pomanjkanja prostora za odlaganje stvari. Raziskava, opravljena za potrebe dela, preučuje zgodovino, obstoječe rešitve na trgu, materiale, ergonomijo in načine montaže. Na podlagi tega je izbrana aplikacija univerzalnega pritrjevalnega sistema ter oblikovana torbica, ki jo lahko prilagajamo svojim potrebam v danih situacijah. Končna rešitev je izrazito usmerjena v modularnost in možnost uporabe prenočitvenega sistema v različnih situacijah. In my BA thesis, I focused on the hammock system used as a shelter and at the problem of lack of storage space. As part of the research, I examined the history, existing solutions on the market, materials, ergonomics and assembly methods. Based on this, I have decided to apply a universal fastening system and have developed a pouch that can be adapted to users needs in given situations, thus trying to improve the modularity and compatibility of the entire accommodation system.

V svojem diplomskem delu sem obravnavala razvoj ličenja, trendov in lepotnih standardov Zahodne kulture v 20. stoletju ter raziskovala vpliv medijev na reprezentacijo žensk. V teoretičnem delu sem se ukvarjala z razvojem in prerodom standardov in trendov, ki so se uveljavili na področju ličenja in lepotne industrije. Osredotočala sem se na ličila in uporabo teh, pojave lepotnih idealov in trendov, ki so nekoč že bili aktualni, njihove spremembe in razvoj ter raziskovala, kakšen vpliv imajo nanje zunanja dogajanja v povezavi z mediji. V praktičnem delu sem na osnovi zgodovine in razvoja ličenja, ki sem ju raziskala, opredelila tipične značilnosti posameznih obdobij 20. stoletja ter jih na modelu oblikovala v celoto. Fotografirala sem digitalno, in sicer doprsne portrete na nevtralnem, studijskem ozadju. Stil fotografij sem prilagajala posameznemu obdobju, da je skupaj z njim tvoril koherentne celote. Odločila sem se za avtoportrete, saj me je zanimalo, do kolikšne mere lahko spreminjam en sam obraz in ga vključim v popolnoma različna obdobja tako, da bo deloval prepričljivo in pristno. Hkrati sem raziskovala, kako se lahko sama identificiram z različnimi trendi, in tako prenesla vprašanje osebne identitete tudi na praktični del diplomskega dela. In my diploma thesis I am addressing the topic of the development of make-up, trends and beauty standards of Western culture in the 20th century and exploring the influence of the media on the representation of women. In the theoretical part of the thesis I am dealing with the development and revival of standards and trends that have established themselves in the field of makeup and beauty industry – I am focusing on makeup, the emergence of beauty ideals, trends that were once relevant, how they have changed and developed and what impact external events had on them in combination with media. In the practical part, based on the researched history and the development of makeup, I designed the typical characteristics of individual periods of the 20th century and formed them into a whole. I photographed digitally, in the form of bust portraits on a neutral, studio background and adapted the style of each photography according to the chosen period. I opted for self-portraits and working on myself – I was interested in the extent to which I could change the same face and include it in completely different periods so that it would still work convincingly and authentically and at the same time, I researched how I can identify with different trends and thus transfer the issue of personal identity to the practical part of the thesis.

Kljuka je del opreme, s katerim imamo stik skoraj vsak dan in velja za enega izmed največkrat uporabljenih serijskih izdelkov v našem okolju. Primarna funkcija kljuke je odpiranje in zapiranje vrat tako, da z dlanjo potisnemo ročaj navzdol in s tem sprostimo mehanizem zapaha. V ustanovi, kot je bolnišnica, je higiena izjemno pomembna, in s tem, ko ima v javnih ustanovah s kljuko stik večje število oseb, se tako preko ročaja lahko širijo virusi in bakterije. V diplomskem delu sta predstavljena vratna kljuka in vlečni ročaj s fokusom na higieni. Oba načina odpiranja vrat sta oblikovana z namenom, da ko uporabnik vstopi v nov prostor, nase prenese manj bakterij, kot če bi uporabil tradicionalno kljuko. Posebnost kljuke in vlečnega ročaja je v tem, da za odpiranje uporabniku ni potreben stik z dlanjo, temveč uporabi zapestje ali komolec in tako nase ne prenese škodljivih bakterij in virusov. The door handle is a part of the equipment with wich we have contact almost every day and is considered as one of the most frequently used serial products in our living environment. The primary function of a door handle is to open and close the door by pushing the lever down with our palm, thus releasing the latch mechanism. In environment such as the hospital, hygiene is extremely important, and by having a larger number of users contact with a door handle, viruses and bacteria can spread through the surface. The BA thesis showcases a door handle and a pull handle with a focus on hygiene. Both ways of opening the door are designed in order that when a user enters a new space, he transfers less bacteria on himself than if he used a tradicional door handle. The main feature of this door and pull handle is that a user does not use it with his palm, rather he uses his wrist or elbow and thus does not contract harmful bacteria and viruses.

V diplomski nalogi se bom ukvarjala s tem, kako s pomočjo fotografije prikazati, za kakšno duševno stanje oziroma duševno motnjo gre. Ukvarjala se bom z upodobitvijo krhkih vizualnih podob, ki jih bom dosegla predvsem z napakami v fotografskem postopku in z uničevanjem filmskih negativov. S svojo fotografsko serijo želim prikazati mentalna stanja in občutke, ki jih posameznik doživlja pri določeni duševni motnji. S svojim diplomskim delom želim bolje spoznati duševne motnje, jih analizirati, in to upodobiti skozi avtorsko serijo fotografij. Raziskovala bom avtorje, ki se ukvarjajo z duševnimi boleznimi, zgodovino upodabljanja duševnih bolezni v umetnosti, duševne motnje in na kakšne načine jih lahko prikažemo s fotografijo. My thesis highlights the depiction of mental illness and state of mind through photography. I will be exploring fragile visual representations and portraying them mostly by errors in the photographic process along with destroying the negatives of the film. The intent of my photographic series is to illustrate various mental and emotional states as experienced by individuals with a specific mental illness. In my thesis I want to learn about various mental illnesses, analyse them and portray them through my original photo series. I will focus on authors who are exploring the complex issues of mental health and emotions through photographic projects and artworks, depiction of mental illness in art history, mental illness in general and how to depict them with photography.

Diplomsko delo obravnava umetnino, sliko na platnu akademskega slikarja Ferdinanda Mayerja, Ženski akt, ki se nahaja v zbirki ALUO (inv. št. ALUO-S-56). V uvodu pojasnjujemo ikonografsko ozadje slike in podajamo podatke o avtorju. Sledi opis stanja slike pred konservatorsko-restavratorskim posegom. Izpostavljamo površinsko umazanijo ter strukturno problematiko nosilca in podokvira. V teoretičnem delu opisujemo problematiko čiščenja modernih oljnih slik na platnu. Praktični del naloge vključuje opis vseh konservatorsko-restavratorskih posegov na umetnini ter argumentacijo teh posegov. Na koncu te posege še kritično ovrednotimo. This bachelor’s thesis deals with an artwork, a painting on canvas by academic painter Ferdinand Mayer, Female Nude, which belongs to the ALUO collection (inv. nr. ALUO-S-56). In the introduction, we explain the iconographic background of the painting and give information about the author. Further on, we describe the condition of the painting prior to the conservation treatment focusing on surface dirt and the structural issues of the support and the stretcher. In the theoretical part, we describe the issues of cleaning modern oils. The practical part of the thesis includes the description of all conservation treatments and the argumentation of said treatments. Finally, we critically evaluate the treatments that were carried out.

Širjenje mest in urbanizacija sta čedalje bolj razširjena procesa tako po svetu, kot v Sloveniji in sta pomembna dejavnika, ki negativno vplivata na naravni hidrološki krog. Čeprav voda v globalnem smislu kroži, trenuten sistem gospodarjenja z vodo temelji na linearnem konceptu, ki ga poenostavljeno opišemo kot: pridobivanje, uporaba in odstranjevanje. Tak način ravnanja z vodnimi viri ni trajnosten, saj omejuje možnosti za ponovno uporabo odpadne vode, kakor tudi obnovo snovi, ki jih voda kot medij vsebuje. V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali različne ukrepe za enostanovanjske ter večstanovanjske stavbe in hotele, ki bi pripomogli k bolj trajnostnem pristopu do ravnanja z vodo. Osredotočili smo se na ukrepe, ki omogočajo ponovno uporabo padavinske in uporabljene (odpadne) vode in na ukrepe, ki omogočajo manjšo porabo svežega vodnega vira. Namen diplomske naloge je predlog vodne izkaznice, ki jo bodo lahko enostanovanjske, večstanovanjske in turistične stavbe uporabile za določitev njihove stopnje trajnostne rabe vode. Vpeljava predlagane vodne izkaznice v prakso, bi lahko vodila k uporabi bolj trajnostnih pristopov ravnanja z vodo v stavbah. Urban sprawl and urbanization are increasing both globally and in Slovenia. These processes have a negative impact on the natural hydrological cycle. Although water circulates on a global scale, the current water management system is based on a linear concept that can be simply described as extraction, use, and disposal. This type of managing water resources is not sustainable, as it limits the possibilities for reuse of wastewater, as well as the recovery of resources contained in water. In this thesis, we investigated different measures for singlehousehold and multi-household buildings and hotels that would contribute to a more sustainable water management approach. We focused on the measures that enable the reuse of rainwater and wastewater and measures that reduce freshwater consumption. The main goal of the thesis is to develop a water efficiency certificate, which can be used for singlehousehold and multi-household buildings and hotels, to determine their level of water sustainability. The introduction of a water efficiency certificate for buildings could lead to the usage of more sustainable water management approaches.

Glavni namen diplomske naloge je analizirati cene oskrbe s pitno vodo v občinah Vrhnika, Borovnica in Log-Dragomer (analizirane občine). Veljavne cene oskrbe s pitno vodo v Republiki Sloveniji smo pridobili iz spletnih strani izvajalcev, zadolženih za opravljanje dejavnosti oskrbe s pitno vodo v letu 2020. Najprej smo prikazali kratek zgodovinski razvoj oblikovanja cen na področju oskrbe s pitno vode v Republiki Sloveniji in predstavili zakonodajo, ki to področje ureja v letu 2020. V nadaljevanju smo prikazali bistvene ugotovitve primerjalnih analiz izvajanja gospodarskih javnih služb za oskrbo z vodo v letih 2015 - 2018 v Republiki Sloveniji. Analizirali smo cene pri oskrbi z vodo v Republiki Sloveniji ločeno na vodarino in omrežnino v letu 2020 in prikazali temeljne statistične ugotovitve cen oskrbe z vodo, ki veljajo za celotno Republiko Slovenijo v letu 2020. V nadaljevanju smo se osredotočili na komunalne dejavnosti v obravnavanih občinah, prikazali njihove splošne demografske podatke ter jih primerjali s povprečjem slovenskih občin. Posebno pozornost smo namenili komunalni dejavnosti čiščenje in odvodnja odpadne vode, saj je ta neposredno povezana s komunalno dejavnostjo oskrbe s pitno vodo. V nadaljevanju smo podrobno predstavili oskrbo s pitno vodo v obravnavanih občinah in analizirali oblikovanje cen za oskrbo z vodo, jih primerjali in predstavili bistvene razloge za razlikovanje cen oskrbe s pitno vodo. Ugotovili smo, da se cene oskrbe s pitno vodo po občinah razlikujejo. Najbolj problematične so prenizke cene oskrbe s pitno vodo, saj ne zagotavljajo dolgotrajne oskrbe, ker ne pokrivajo vseh stroškov izvajanja dejavnosti in vodijo v dezinvestiranje. Previsoke cene pa so v najslabšem primeru nepoštene do plačnikov. Najboljša cena torej ni najnižja, ampak tista, ki zagotavlja dolgotrajno oskrbo za prihodnje generacije. The main purpose of the thesis is to analyze the prices of water supply in the municipalities of Vrhnika, Borovnica and Log-Dragomer. (analyzed municipalities) Valid prices for drinking water supply in the Republic of Slovenia were obtained from the websites of contractors who were in charge of performing water supply in 2020 across Republic of Slovenia. In the beggining of the thesis we presented brief historical development of pricing in the field of water supply and valid legislation in 2020. We further presented the essential findings of the comparative analysis between years 2015 and 2018 in the Republic of Slovenia. In further of the thesis we analyzed the prices of water supply, separately for water supply services and water supply network which were valid in Republic of Slovenia in 2020. We compared and analyzed data with the basic statistical findings that apply to the entire Republic of Slovenia and analyzed municipalities in 2020. In further analysis we generally presented the municipal services that are carried out in the municipalities of Vrhnika, Borovnica and Log-Dragomer and compared theirs general demographic data, with demographic data valid for average Slovenian municipality. We paid special attention to the municipal activity of waste-water treatment and drainage, becaue this activity is directly related to municipal activity of water supply. In continuation we presented water supply in the municipalities of Vrhnika, Borovnica and Log-Dragomer in detail and further analyzed and compared the main reasons for the difference in water supply prices. In the conclusion we found out that drinking water supply prices vary from municipality to municipality. The most problematic are prices that are too low because they do not provide long-term water supply and leads to disinvestment. Excessively high prices, however, are unfair to payers in the worst case. The best price is therefore not the lowest but one that provides long-term water supply for future generations.

Glavnina današnjih trigonometričnih mrež je bila stabilizirana v prvih dveh desetletjih po II. svetovni vojni. Po letu 2006, so z uveljavo GNSS-izmere, državne trigonometrične mreže izgubile večino svojega praktičnega pomena. V diplomski nalogi sem preverjal stanje državnih trigonometričnih točk na območju Žužemberka ter njihovo primernost za izmero GNSS. Za terenski ogled sem pregledal ustrezne prostorske evidence kot so topografske karte, karte katastrskih občin, mreže listov 1 : 5000, senčenih reliefov in arhivske baze trigonometričnih točk, na osnovi katerih sem pripravil seznam vseh trigonometričnih točk izbranega območja s preračunanimi koordinatami v D96/TM. Na terenu sem pregledal 92 trigonometričnih točk. Na območju Žužemberka obstaja še 65 % trigonometričnih točk. Od tega jih je približno 49 % primernih za izmero GNSS. Največ točk je ohranjenih na poraščenih terenih 71 %, najmanj 46 % pa na urbanih ter njivskih površinah. Dodana je še primerjava deleža ohranjenih točk glede na red mreže. Našel sem 86 % točk trigonometrične mreže III. reda in 71 % točk trigonometrične mreže IV. reda. The majority of todays trigonometric networks were stabilized in the first two decades after II. World War. After 2006, with the introduction of GNSS surveys, national trigonometric networks lost most of their practical significance. In my graduation thesis, I checked the field status of national trigonometric marks in the area of Žužemberk and their suitability for currents GNSS measurements. For fieldwork, I reviewed spatial records such as topographic maps, maps of cadastral municipalities, map sheet boundaries for scale 1:5000, shaded reliefs and the archival database of trigonometric marks. I prepared a list of all trigonometric marks in a selected area and transformed theirs coordinates in D96/TM. In the field I checked the current status of 92 trigonometric marks. In the area of Žužemberk I found 65% of trigonometric marks. Of these, about 49% are suitable for GNSS measurements. The majority of preserved marks are located on the overgrown terrain 71% and the least 46% on urban terrain. A comparison of the proportion of preserved marks according to the order of the trigonometric network is added. I found 86% points of the trigonometric network of III order and 71% points of the trigonometric network of IV order.

V diplomski nalogi so obravnavane lastnosti betonskih mešanic, katerih vezivo predstavlja žlindrin cement CEM III/B 32,5 N-LH/SR, z nizko toploto hidratacije. Za pridobitev podatkov o lastnostih različnih mešanic so bile opravljene laboratorijske preiskave svežega in strjenega betona. Na svežih mešanicah so bile opravljene preiskave za določitev konsistence (metoda s posedom in metoda z razlezom), na strjenih vzorcih pa so bili določeni tlačna trdnost s porušno metodo in elastični parametri z uporabo ultrazvočne preiskave. Enake preiskave so bile opravljene tudi na betonih s Portlandskim cementom CEM II/B-M (LL-V) 42,5 N. Cementi CEM II/B so najpogosteje uporabljena vrsta cementa v slovenski gradbeniški praksi. Sledila je analiza rezultatov in njihova medsebojna primerjava. Rezultati so pokazali, da so betoni z žlindrinim cementom bolj tekoče konsistence, kot betoni s Portlandskim cementom. Zgodnje vrednosti mehanskih lastnosti, kot so tlačna trdnost ter dinamični modul elastičnosti in strižni modul, so občutno nižje pri betonih z žlindrinim cementom, zaradi počasnejšega oblikovanja produktov hidratacije. Po osemindvajsetih dneh hidratacije pa se razlika tlačnih trdnosti in elastičnih parametrov med betoni z žlindrinim cementom in betoni s Portlandskim cementom bistveno zmanjša. V nekaterih primerih betoni z žlindrinim cementom dosežejo celo višje 28-dnevne vrednosti mehanskih lastnosti. he graduation thesis deals with the properties of concrete mixtures prepared with slag cement CEM III / B 32.5 N-LH / SR with low heat of hydration. Laboratory tests of fresh and hardened concrete were performed to obtain data on the properties of different mixtures. Slump test and flow table test were performed to determine the consistency of fresh concrete. Compressive strength was determined on hardened samples and elastic parameters were measured using the ultrasonic technique. The same tests were performed on concretes with Portland cement CEM II / B-M (LL-V) 42.5 N. CEM II / B types of cement are the most commonly used cements in Slovenian construction practice. After completed laboratory tests, an analysis of the test results and their comparison followed. The obtained results showed that slag cement concretes have a more liquid consistency than Portland cement concretes. Due to the slower formation of hydration products, early age mechanical properties, such as compressive strength and dynamic modulus of elasticity and shear modulus, are significantly lower in the slag cement concretes. After twenty-eight days of binder hydration, the difference in compressive strength and elastic parameters between the slag cement concrete and Portland cement concrete decreases significantly. In some cases, slag cement concrete achieves even higher mechanical properties after twenty eight days.

Pomembna katastrska dokumentacija ob katastrski izmeri so katastrski elaborati, ter drugi podatki iz zbirke listin, ki omogočajo historični pregled sprememb. Katastrski elaborati so bili izdelani v različnih časovnih obdobjih vzdrževanja zemljiškega katastra in predstavljajo osnovo na podlagi katerih so bili opravljeni vpisi v zemljiški kataster. V diplomski nalogi so predstavljeni načini vzdrževanja zemljiškega katastra glede na zakonodajo in predstavljeni katastrski elaborati iz različnih zgodovinskih obdobij. Namen diplomske naloge je upoštevanje starih katastrskih elaboratov in druge dokumentacije zemljiškega katastra ob novi katastrski izmeri ter upoštevanje posebnosti predhodnih katastrskih postopkov. Diplomska naloga je pripravljena na podlagi izbora študijskih primerov katastrskih elaboratov. Important cadastral documentation during the implementation of the new cadastral survey are cadastral detail reports from the collection of the documents and other data that enable a historical overview of changes. Cadastral detail reports were prepared in different time periods and represent the basis on which entries (inscription) in the land cadastre register were made. The diploma thesis will present the methods of maintaining the land cadastre according to the historical legislation with the old cadastral detail reports from different historical periods. The purpose of the diploma thesis is how to consider old cadastral detail reports, specifics of previous cadastral procedures and different land cadastre documentation at the new cadastral survey. The diploma thesis was prepared on selected cases of cadastral detail reports.

V pričujoči diplomski nalogi raziskujem pozicijo živali v človeški družbi in se skozi primerjavo s fotografijo lotevam vprašanja človekove percepcije živali. V besedilu se osredotočam tudi na problematiko človekovega pogleda na žival, kjer med drugim opišem, kako je (lahko) način srečevanja z živalmi v času družbe, ki jo definira prenasičenost podob, predrugačen. Tovrsten diskurz tako predpostavlja, da je med vidnejšimi karakteristikami odnosa sodobnega človeka do živali antropomorfizacija, preko katere utemeljujem pozicijo psa v človeški družbi. Figura psa spremlja celotno besedilo in se nenazadnje pokaže tudi kot osrednji motiv lastnih slikarskih del, v katerih se lotevam obravnave zamirajočega športa pasjih dirk. In the following thesis, I explore the position (and condition) of animals in human society and, through comparison with photography, address our perception of animals. The text also focuses on the issue of the human gaze, where I explore how human-animal encounters are altered and transformed in a society, defined by image overload. The discourse thus suggests that one of the most prominent characteristics of modern human-animal relationships is anthropomorphization, through which I substantiate the position of dogs in human society. The motif of a dog is explored through the entire text and, last but not least, shows itself as the central theme of my own paintings, in which I address the fading sport of dog racing.

Diplomsko delo, kratki igrani film Slepo polje se ukvarja z razširjenostjo tesnobe med študenti v času epidemije covida-19. Opravil sem anketo, s katero sem želel izvedeti dejansko stanje glede študentov in tesnobe, za njihove izkušnje in njihovo mnenje glede zadostnega ozaveščanja o tesnobi. Namen diplomskega dela je opozoriti na posledice epidemije na študentih, izboljšati njihovo duševno stanje in omogočiti boljši dostop do strokovne pomoči v času epidemije covida-19. V diplomsko delo sem vključil tudi umetnike, psihologe in filozofe, katerih dela so tesno povezana s tesnobo. Rezultati ankete so pokazali, da se je večina študentov znašla v stiski zaradi epidemije covida-19. Njihove izkušnje sem skušal zaobseči v celoto in stanje med študenti v času epidemije covida-19 čim bolj pristno prikazati v kratkem igranem filmu. The short film Blind Field deals with the prevalence of anxiety among students during the COVID-19 epidemic. I surveyed to find out the actual situation with students and anxiety, their experiences, and their opinion on sufficient awareness of anxiety. The purpose of this thesis is to draw attention to the consequences of the epidemic on students, improve their mental state, and provide better access to professional assistance during the COVID-19 epidemic. I also included artists, psychologists, and philosophers whose work is closely related to anxiety in my dissertation. The results of the survey showed that most students found themselves in distress due to the COVID-19 epidemic. I tried to capture their experiences as authentically as possible in a short film.

Ogledalu je človek že od prvih dni naše zahodne civilizacije pripisoval različne mitološke in nadnaravne lastnosti. Običajni človek je v ogledalu prirejal samega sebe, filozof pa je namesto o narobe obrnjenem posnetku originala razmišljal o ideji objekta, ki se je zrcalilo v svetu onkraj ogledala. Od Sokrata in Platona naprej je človek v zrcalih spoznaval samega sebe, umetnik pa je v njem poleg sebe spoznaval še okolico, v kateri je živel in ustvarjal. Z ogledali si je umetnik pomagal razširjati in spoznavati realni in likovni prostor ter postavljal vprašanje o zrcalu in odsevu kot membrani med svetovi. Various mythological and supernatural qualities have been attributed to the mirror since the first days of our Western civilization. The common man arranged himself in the mirror, and the philosopher, instead of looking at the wrong-turned image of the original, thought of the idea of an object mirrored in a world beyond the mirror. From Socrates and Plato onwards, man got to know himself in mirrors, and in addition to himself, the artist got to know the surroundings in which they lived and created. Through mirrors, the artist helped to expand and comprehend the real and the artistic space, and asked the question of the mirror and the reflection as a membrane between worlds.

V diplomski nalogi skušam orisati postopne mutacije sodobne umetnosti v relaciji do njenih tehnoloških okoliščin, pri čemer se posebej osredotočam predvsem na implikacije algoritmov in nevronskih mrež. Prek primerov nekaterih nedavnih umetnostnih praks ter z njimi povezanih teoretizacij ponazorim sodobne strategije mišljenja in izvajanja kulturne produkcije, ki se prilagajajo medijski krajini sedanjosti in prihodnosti, pri čemer spreminjajo odnos do avtorstva, inovacije, reprezentacije, politike in umetnostnega trga. Po kratki razlagi tehnologije nevronskih mrež v zaključku predstavim tudi svojo avtorsko prakso in načrt za samostojno razstavo, v katerem ponazorim aplikacije predlaganih strategij. In my dissertation I try to outline the gradual mutations of contemporary art in relation to its technological circumstances, with a special focus on the implications of algorithms and neural networks. Through examples of some recent art practices and related theorizations, I illustrate contemporary strategies of thinking and performing cultural production that adapt to the media landscape of the present and the future while changing attitudes towards authorship, innovation, representation, politics and the art market. After a brief explanation of neural network technology, I present my practice and a plan for a solo exhibition through which I illustrate some applications of the proposed strategies.

Ustvarila sem spletno stran Zdravilni izraz, na kateri sem objavila vaje in besedila za samopomoč pri čustvenem izražanju ter posledično lajšanju psihičnih travm. V teoretičnem delu sem se oprla na psihoanalitike, psihologe in umetnostne terapevte, kot so Alice Miller, Luise Reddmann in Cathy A. Malchiodi. Raziskala sem vzroke in posledice psihičnih travm, zanemarjanje v otroštvu ter kako si pomagati z različnimi vajami in umetnostno terapijo. V praktičnem delu sem s pomočjo vaj raziskala vpliv le teh na posameznika, kakšna je možnost zdravljenja z njimi ter če se s pomočjo umetniškega ustvarjanja izboljša tudi posameznikova zaznava čustev in misli. I created a website Healing Expression (Zdravilni izraz) where I published some exercises and texts for self-help with emotional expression and consequently relief of psychological trauma. In theoretical part I leaned on psychoanalysts, psychologists and art therapists such as Alice Miller, Luise Reddmann and Cathy A. Malchiodi. I researched the causes and consequences of psychological trauma, childhood neglect and how to help yourself with different exercises and art therapy. In practical part, with the help of exercises, I explored the effect of these on the individual, what the possibility of healing with them is and if individual’s perception of emotions and thoughts improves with the help of artistic creation.

V diplomski nalogi sem načrtovala personalizirano vizualizacijo podatkov problematike globalnega segrevanja v Sloveniji, ki bi pri uporabniku vzbudila skrb in pripravljenost za spremembo vedenja ter sprejemanje podnebju prijaznih politik. Posledice podnebnih sprememb bodo vse bolj vplivale na naša življenja in pomembno je, da razumemo, od kod te spremembe izvirajo, kako bodo na nas vplivale in kako lahko posledice blažimo. Projekta sem se lotila z raziskavo področja komunikacije z uporabnikom, psihologije, načrtovanja uporabniške izkušnje, uporabniških vmesnikov, oblikovanja za splet in informacijskega oblikovanja. Ob upoštevanju temeljnih načel teh področij sem oblikovala končno rešitev – spletno mesto, kjer bi bile informacije predstavljene na personaliziran način. Predstavljena rešitev obravnava dve področji vplivov podnebnih sprememb, vendar njena struktura dopušča širjenje nabora. In my thesis I designed a personalized visualization of climate change data in Slovenia, the goal of which is to provoke concern, affect a change in behaviour and adopt climate-positive policies. Climate change will have ever greater consequences on our lives and that is why it is important to understand why these changes are occurring, how they will impact us and how we might mitigate them. First I studied the field of user communication, psychology, user experience design, user interface design, web design and information design. With the use of principles from these fields I designed a website where the information is presented in a personalized way. The project addresses two areas of climate change impacts but its design allows for expansion.

V aktualnem besedilu se fokusiram na sodobne smernice v filozofiji (spekulativni realizem), implikacijo abjekta in estetiko campa ter produkcijo objektov iz termoreverzibilnih materialov in epoksija. Dekadentni romanopisec Joris Karl Huysmans, natančneje njegovo delo Proti toku, mi služi za analogijo ustvarjalca, potopljenega v modalnosti svojega umetniškega objekta. Definiram virtualen, navidezen kontekst, iz katerega so ti objekti ekstrahirani, in se ukvarjam z razpršeno naravo njihove distribucije. Kot ključne oporne točke pri vizualni produkciji uporabim delo Charlotte Posenenske, glasbeni video Grace Jones v režiji Nicka Hookerja, postinternet in Evo Hesse. Slednja mi je v pomoč pri odkrivanju serialnega značaja lastnega dela. Koncentriram se na princip semplanja, transgresijo, najdeni predmet in objektu določim konkretno fizično dispozicijo v prostoru. My thesis focuses on contemporary trends in philosophy (speculative realism), the implication of the abject, camp aesthetics and the production of objects from thermoreversible materials and resin. Joris-Karl Huysmans, French decadent novelist, or more precisely, his work Against Nature, provides an analogy for a creator immersed in the modality of his art object. I define the virtual context from which these objects are extracted, and deal with the dispersed nature of their distribution. Charlotte Posenenske, Grace Jones’ video directed by Nick Hooker, Postinternet and Eva Hesse are used as key points in my visual production. I rely on the latter to discover the serial character of my work. I concentrate on the principle of sampling, transgression, the found object and determine the object’s physical disposition in space.

V diplomski nalogi raziskujem kraje in prostore, ki se razlikujejo od antropološkega pojmovanja kraja. Od filozofije, antropologije in sociologije do umetnosti predstavim različne načine spoprijemanja s temo drugosti krajev in prostorov. Ob prebiranju čtiva izstopa pojem drugosti, odnosa, ki ga vzpostavljamo na vseh možnih mestih. S tem razumevanje krajev postane prevpraševanje sebstva in posledično odnosa do tistega drugega, ki ni jaz. Tako kot ustvarjamo meje lastnega telesa, ustvarjamo tudi meje prostora in množice, ki ji je vstop dovoljen. To pripelje do segregacij in tako imenovanih praznih prostorov. Odločitev, da se osredotočim na nekraje, ki jih srečujemo na potovanjih, izhaja iz lastne fascinacije z njimi. Ti nam omogočajo, da v samoti postanemo opazovalci ljudi, skozi katere lahko analiziramo lastno vedenje in se urimo v sprejemanju drugih. Vendar do tega pridemo le z lastno željo in ne zgolj dispozicijo, ki nam jo nudijo nekraji. Z ustvarjanjem filma Impresije odtujenega potnika predstavljam lastno dojemanje nekrajev, ki je vidno v trenutkih, ki se jih odločim zapečatiti. Vizualnost dopolnjujem s podnapisi, ki so zapisi razmišljanj, ki jih v meni vzbujajo potovanja. In my bachelor thesis, I explore places and spaces which differ from the anthropological conception of place. From philosophy, anthropology, sociology to art, I present different ways of dealing with the theme of the otherness of places and spaces. While going through books and articles, what stood out the most was the notion of otherness, a relation which we establish in all possible places. Thus understanding places become a questioning of the self and consequently questioning of relations to those other than me. Just as we create the boundaries of our own body, we also make the boundaries of space and the crowd which is allowed to enter it. This leads to segregation and so-called empty spaces. The decision to focus on the places we encounter on our travels stems from my fascination with them. They allow us, within our solitude, to become observers of people, through which we can analyze our behaviour and train ourselves in accepting others. However, we can arrive at such a conclusion only with our desire and not just the disposition offered to us by the non-places. By creating the film Impressions of an Alienated Passenger, I present my perception of non-places, which is visible in the moments I decide to commemorate. I compliment the visuals with subtitles, which are records of the thoughts that travel evokes in me.

Naš duševni svet, to intelektualno kraljestvo naših misli in predstav, vsebuje tudi svoje zavore, napake in izkrivljenosti ter obilico smešnega in komičnih kontrastov. Smeh je refleks, a edinstven v tem, da nima očitnega biološkega namena. Zdi se, da je njegova edina naloga razbremenitev napetosti. Humor pa lahko deluje kot prilagodljiv obrambni sistem, ki omogoča ljudem zaznavanje komične absurdnosti v zahtevnejših situacijah. Dvojnost, ki jo tragedija vidi kot usodno protislovje v naravi stvari, komedija vidi kot še en primer neskladne resničnosti, s katero mora vsak živeti, kakor se le da. Kierkegaard (1846) pravi, kjer je življenje, tam je protislovje. Kjer pa je protislovje, je prisotno komično. Moje praktično delo je avdiovizualni poskus raziskovanja humornega spoprijemanja s tragičnimi oziroma katastrofalnimi situacijami. Delo je razdeljeno na tri dele, tri različne ustaljeno neprijetne situacije, ki jih vsebinsko in tehnično poskušam reševati na humoren, neobremenjen način, kar v določenih aspektih meji na bizarno. Our mental world, this intellectual realm of our thoughts and ideas, also contains its own brakes, faults and distortions, and an abundance of ridiculous and comic contrasts. Laughter is a reflex, but unique in that it has no obvious biological purpose. His only job seems to be the relief of tension. Humor, however, can act as an adaptable ego defense system that allows people to perceive comic absurdity in more complex situations. The duality that tragedy sees as a fatal contradiction in the nature of things, comedy sees as another example of the inconsistent reality with which everyone must live as well as possible. Kierkegaard (1846) says where there is life, there is contradiction. Where there is a contradiction, however, the comic is present. My practical work is an audio-visual attempt to explore humorous coping with tragic or catastrophic situations. The work is divided into three parts, three different constantly unpleasant situations, which I try to solve in terms of content and technique in a humorous, unencumbered way, which in certain aspects borders on the bizarre.

Diplomska naloga obravnava odnos med človekom in naravo, vplive na človekovo zaznavo in koncept senzorialnega odmika, ki sem ga v praksi izvajal z uporabo metode dérive (angleško drift). Metodo, zasnovano leta 1956, teoretik in filozof Guy Debord opisuje kot "naključno hojo skozi določeno okolje brez posebnega cilja glede na trenutni navdih in zavedajoč se, kako te različni deli danega okolja pritegnejo ali odvrnejo". Diplomska naloga v prvem delu obravnava prevpraševanje meja med antropogenim in naravnim. Ker pa odmik v veliki meri vpliva na zaznavo samo, se v drugem delu posvetim tudi njej in predstavim načine odmika od običajne zaznave, tj. kako lahko nanjo vplivamo ali jo celo spremenimo. Praktični del naloge obsega fotografski cikel in avtorefleksijo fotografij, ki ponazarjajo senzorialni odmik v naravo kot metodo poglabljanja povezanosti človeka z naravo. The thesis deals with the human-nature relationship, the impacts on human perception and the concept of sensory retreat, carried out through practical work using the dérive method or drift. Devised in 1956, theorist and philosopher Guy Debord describes it as "aimless, random drift- ing through a place, guided by whim and an awareness of how different spaces draw you in or repel you". The first part of my thesis focuses on the differentiation between anthropogenic and natural and the perception of natural. However, as a retreat largely affects the perception itself, the second part of the thesis centers on perception, presenting various ways of achieving a drift from the usual perception and the ways in which we can influence or even change it. In its practical part, the thesis encompasses a photographic cycle and autoreflection of the pho- tographs, illustrating a sensory retreat to nature as a method of deepening our connectedness with nature.

Diplomsko delo se navezuje na temo oblikovanja otroškega pohištva za opremljanje otroških sob in njihovega življenjskega prostora. Temelji na konceptu modularnosti in večnamenske uporabe produkta, ki se s svojo spreminjajočo zasnovo prilagaja tako uporabniku kot tudi prostoru, v katerega je postavljeno. Produkt je namenjen otrokom od prvega do desetega leta starosti, saj raste z uporabnikom in ga tako spremlja skozi več starostnih obdobij. Konceptualna rešitev nudi otroku varno in učenja polno odraščanje. V prvem, raziskovalno-analitičnem delu naloge sem se srečeval s teoretičnim vidikom pohištva, definicijo modula in modularnih sistemov ter z uporabniško in ergonomsko analizo. V nadaljevanju sem skozi konceptualno fazo predstavil potek naloge od postavitve oblikovalskih izhodišč do izoblikovanja končnega koncepta. Zadnji del diplomske naloge pa služi podrobnejšim opisom končne rešitve, s pomočjo vizualizacij predstavi produkt in njegovo rabo za različne namene. The diploma thesis is related to the topic of designing children's furniture for furnishing children's rooms and their environment. It is based on the concept of modularity and multi-functionality usage of the product, which with its changing design adapts to the user and the space in which it is placed. The product is intended for children aged 1-10, as it grows with the user and accompanies them over several life stages. The conceptual solution offers the child a safe period of growing up and a childhood full of learning. In the first, research – analysis based part, I meet with the theoretical aspect of furniture, the definition of modular systems and the module itself, and with the user and ergonomic analysis. In the following part, I present the course of the task through the conceptual phase, from setting the design starting points to formulating the final concept. The last part of my thesis serves to a more detailed description of the final solution and with the help of visualizations presents the product for different purposes.

Vpis na fakultete se zadnja leta na splošno znižuje, njegovo izrazito upadanje pa lahko opazimo na Akademiji za likovno umetnost in oblikovanje (ALUO). Na ALUO se vpisuje vedno manj dijakov Srednje šole za oblikovanje in fotografijo Ljubljana (SŠOF). Zanimalo naju je, zakaj se ti dijaki po opravljeni maturi ne odločajo za šolanje na ALUO, temveč študij nadaljujejo na drugih fakultetah ali pa ga zaključijo z opravljeno srednjo šolo. Ker oba prav tako prihajava s Srednje šole za oblikovanje in fotografijo, sva hipoteze postavila na osnovi lastnih izkušenj, z raziskavo in analizo pa sva prišla do njihovih potrditev in posledično tudi do novih, končnih odgovorov na vprašanja. Opazila sva, da se skozi generacije vse manj dijakov odloča za nadaljevanje študija na ALUO v Ljubljani, saj menijo, da se na nadaljnji izobraževalni poti ne bodo naučili nič novega. V praktičnem delu diplome sva razmišljala o rešitvah te težave ter pripravila načrt za izvedbo ukrepov za povečanje vpisa na ALUO. Svoje rešitve sva razložila v obliki storitvenega načrta, dva dela pa sva razvila podrobneje in ju pripravila za takojšnjo izvedbo. Enrollment at the Faculties has been declining in recent years, and the drastic decline can be seen in the numbers at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Enrollment is also decreasing by students of the Secondary School of Design and Photography in Ljubljana. We were interested in why the mentioned students do not decide to study at the Academy after completing the final exam, but continue their studies either at another member or at the end of high school. Since we also come from the High School of Design and Photography, we set the hypotheses based on our own experience, and through research and analysis we came to confirm these and consequently to new, final answers to the questions. We have noticed that through the generations fewer and fewer students decide to continue their studies at the Academy, and the key reason for this is that they believe that they will not learn anything new in their further educational path. Through the practical part, we thought about solutions to this problem and tried to prepare a plan for the implementation of measures to increase enrollment at the Academy. We articulate our solutions in the form of a service blueprint, and we tried to develop the two segments in more detail and prepare them for immediate implementation.

V diplomi me lasten način gradnje likovnih del po principu repeticije oblik vodi k raziskovanju formalnega vidika vzorcev in načina njihove percepcije. Vizualno percepcijo »utelesim« na podlagi spoznanj z začetka 19. stoletja o človekovih senzoričnih organih, nato pa pristranskost, perspektivo, ki jo poraja vsako živo telo, osvetlim še s spoznanji biologa in filozofa Jakoba von Uexkülla ter teorije avtopoiesisa, ki dodatno pojasnjuje odnos med zaznanim in zaznavajočim. Na ta način utemeljim, zakaj je percepcija nujno aktiven proces, pogojen z biološkim, evolucijskim ustrojem človeka. V ustvarjanju me torej zanima lastna pristranskost, zaradi česar se pogosto postavljam v stransko vlogo urednika, ki ureja, preoblikuje podatke, katerih del je tudi sam (saj so na nek način njegov lasten telesni proizvod). Ob tem pa prav opazovani podatki podajo nove podatke o opazovalcu samem. Nastale vzorce zato dojemam kot strukture, v katerih so vpisane tako nekatere moje lastnosti, kakor tudi lastnosti uporabljenega materiala in njegova zmožnost sprejemanja vplivov iz okolja. Nekatera lastna dela pri tem raziskujem z biološkega vidika – podobnosti med ustvarjenim vzorcem in (mikro)organizmom vidim predvsem v načinu povezave posameznih modularnih enot v celoto, v njihovi zmožnosti »integracije« zunanjih vplivov ter v dinamiki, ki jo v urejeno strukturo vnaša pojav motnje. This thesis explores formal aspects of patterns and the way they are perceived. It stems from my individual approach to constructing visual art, which relies on the principle of formal repetition. I “embody” visual perception by looking at its physical aspects in the context of early 19th century notions of human sensory organs. I then look at bias, a perspective generated by each living body, and further elucidate it by referring to the work of biologist and philosopher Jakob von Uexküll and the theory of autopoiesis, which provides an additional framework for understanding the relationship between what is being perceived and the subject perceiving it. In doing so, I explain why perception is inevitably an active process, conditioned by human biological and evolutionary structures. I explore my creativity predominantly by focusing on my own bias, which is why I often adopt the (side) role of an editor, editing and reworking information which I am part of (since it is produced by my body). This perceived information simultaneously provides new data about the observer. I thus see the resulting pattern as a structure which is imprinted by my features as well as the characteristics of the material used and its ability to receive environmental stimuli. I further examine my works through a biological lens – I see the similarity between created patterns and (micro)organisms primarily in the way in which individual modular units connect into a whole, in their ability to absorb external stimuli, and in the dynamics triggered in balanced structures by disturbance.

Za diplomsko delo bom ilustrirala in oblikovala knjižico, ki bo služila kot pripomoček pri logopedski terapiji. Raziskovala bom področje logopedije, potek logopedske terapije in ciljne publike terapije. Nato bom skušala poiskati najprimernejše oblikovalske rešitve za tovrstno oblikovalsko zahtevo preko analize sestavnih delov knjižice, ki bo služila kot omenjeni pripomoček. I will illustrate and design a tool that will be used for speech therapy. I will focus my research to the field of speech pathology, to the process od speech pathology therapy and the target audience of said therapy. I'll try to find the most suitable design solutions for this type of design demand through the analysis of the components of the booklet that will serve as the described tool.

Diplomsko delo je konceptualno raziskovanje združevanja gline in tekstila v umetniški obliki performansa. V prvem delu raziskuje teoretični aspekt performansa, kostumografje in materialnosti gline. Drugi del je pregled praktičnega dela naloge, v katerem je opisan celoten proces izdelave dela. V končnem umetniškem delu, performansu z naslovom “Gibalne vaje”, je kostum, ki je običajno sekundarnega pomena in odgovarja na potrebe zgodbe ter predvidenih gibov, postavljen v ospredje. Namesto podrejene, prevzame aktivno vlogo in narekuje ne le gibanje, temveč gradi celoten performans. Prisotni keramični in glineni rekviziti ne najdejo svoje vrednosti v svoji likovni izraznosti, saj je njihov pomen direktno vezan na performans. To so katalizatorji za slike, ki jih narekujejo in izvzeti iz konteksta performansa izgubijo svoj namen. Uporaba črne barve igra veliko vlogo v dojemanju dela, saj poenoti vse sestavne elemente. V končnem umetniškem delu se združita teoretična plat in praktični del v premišljeno celostno podobo. The thesis is a conceptual exploration into the possible applications of combining clay and textiles in performance art. Separated into two parts, the frst part deals with the theoretical aspects of performance, clay as a material, and costume design. The fndings in this part are later applied in the development of the outcome with the process recorded and described in the second, practical part of the thesis. The fnal project is a performance piece titled “Gibalne vaje” where the costume takes center stage. While usually of secondary importance, subordinated to the needs of the story and intended movement, here, the costume becomes the driving force, actively dictating the movements and building the whole performance. The ceramic and clay props do not seek their value in their artistic expression because their meaning is directly linked to the performance. They are catalysts for the scenes they dictate and taken out of the context of the performance lose their purpose. The use of black plays a signifcant role in the perception of the work because it unifes all of its elements. The fnal performance combines both the theoretical side and the practical part into a unifed whole.

Diplomsko delo Lažje si je predstavljati konec sveta zarisuje teoretski okvir in praktično izvedbo serije modrotiskov Neznani fotograf, ki na podlagi fotografij, posnetih med letoma 1941 in 1944 ter preobraženih sprva v digitalne kolaže in zatem v modrotiske (ter sitotiske), preiskuje in preizprašuje sodobne oblike in vzvode (kapitalističnega) ideološkega aparata, njegovo navidezno neideološkost, nezamenljivost in njegovo vizualno, simbolno manifestacijo (oziroma njeno nevarno odsotnost). S pomočjo teorije kapitalističnega realizma serija (modrotiski Neznani fotograf 1–4) – z njo pa tudi diplomsko delo – izpostavlja tudi fenomen napačnega spomina in koncept ironične distance (potlačitev ne obstaja navkljub, temveč s pomočjo sprejetja potlačenega, kapitalizem pa ne navkljub, temveč s pomočjo antikapitalizma), nasloni pa se tudi na vprašanje gospodarjevega pogleda in teorijo recepcijske estetike ter koncept emancipiranega gledalca, ki zaznamuje tudi serijo Neznani fotograf, katere vprašanja o sodobnih ideoloških aparatih in njihovih (vizualnih) manifestacijah se vsebinsko izpopolnijo le skozi gledalca in njegov (vizualni) horizont pričakovanj. The BA thesis It is Easier to Imagine the End of the World outlines the theoretical framework and practical implementation of the cyanotype series The Unknown Photographer, which (on the basis of photographs taken between 1941 and 1944 and transformed first into digital collages and then into cyanotypes and screen prints) explores and questions the current (capitalist) ideological apparatus, its seemingly non-ideological stance, seeming irreplaceability and its visual, symbolic manifestations (or their absence). Through the theory of capitalist realism, the series (cyanotypes The Unknown Photographer 1–4) – and with it the thesis – also explores the false memory phenomenon (fausse reconnaisance) and the concept of ironic distance (capitalism does not exist despite, but because of anti-capitalism). At the same time, it focuses on the question of the master's gaze, the theory of reception aesthetics and the concept of the emancipated spectator. The latter concept also heavily influences The Unknown Photographer series, whose questions about modern ideological apparatuses and their (visual) manifestations are finalized and completed only through the viewer and his (visual) horizon of expectations.

V diplomskem delu obravnavam oblikovanje likovne pripovedi. Še posebej sem se osredotočila na vrste kadriranja in učinek kadriranja na ritem zgodborisa, s posebno pozornostjo na razlike v kadriranju med zahodnimi in japonskimi stripi. Poleg tega sem za oblikovanje prostora in junakov raziskala pomembne zgodovinske podatke, zlasti razliko med biblijsko Salomo in Salomo Oscarja Wilda. Na podlagi raziskave sem ustvarila praktični del diplomske naloge v obliki stripa. V svoji interpretaciji sem uporabila besedilo drame Oscarja Wilda in na podlagi zgodovinskih dogodkov ustvarila novi futuristično distopični svet, v katerem se odvija tragična zgodba. In this BA thesis I discuss the principles of visual narratives in comic form, with a particular emphasis on the types of frameworks and differences in frameworks and storyboarding in different Western and Japanese comics. In order to create an appropriate space and characters I researched relevant historical details, especially the difference between the biblical and Oscar Wilde’s Salomé. On the basis of these findings I created the practical part of my thesis, the story of Salomé in comic form. In my interpretation I used Oscar Wilde’s play and created a dystopian futuristic world where this tragedy takes place.

Diplomska naloga raziskuje in analizira pojem dobrobiti. Razumevanje dobrobiti se v filozofiji začne s hedonizmom in z eudaimonijo ter nadaljuje z njeno moderno definicijo in s pomenom za človeka. Raziskava se dotakne različnih področij, v katerih se pojavlja. To so filozofija, psihologija, družba in okolje. Obenem pa se avtorica v diplomski nalogi poglobi v razumevanje in vlogo dobrobiti v oblikovanju in arhitekturi, zanima jo, na kakšen način se dobrobit pojavlja v oblikovanju, kakšen je njen pomen v stroki in kakšno je oblikovanje za dobrobit človeka. Z raziskovanjem in analiziranjem dobrobiti in njene vloge v oblikovanju je avtorica oblikovala tri produkte, ki zrcalijo obravnavano tematiko. Poudarek je na oblikovanju produktov, ki spodbujajo občutek udobja in tako znižujejo stres in anksioznost. Prvi produkt je obtežena odeja, ki simulira občutek objema, drugi produkt je obposteljni tepih reliefne oblike, ki spominja na kamenje na obali in simulira hojo po kamnih. Zadnji oblikovani produkt je beležka s stojalom, ki spodbuja zapisovanje misli, idej ali sanj, njen namen pa je sproščanje misli. In the thesis, the concept of well-being is researched and analyzed. Understanding well- being as a concept begins in philosophy, with hedonism and eudaimonism. It resumes with the modern interpretation of well-being and its importance for the human being. The research touches on the different areas where well-being is present. These are philosophy, psychology, society and environment. The thesis emphasizes on the topic of well-being present in design and architecture. What is the purpose of well-being in design and how to design for well-being. Through the research and analysis of the concept of well-being in design, I have designed three products that mirror the topic of the thesis. These products elevate and encourage well-being in the home environment. The focus was on creating products that promote comfort and lower stress and anxiety. These products are, a weighted blanket that simulates a hug and helps to lower stress and anxiety, a soft rug for in front of a bed and a notebook that encourages the writing of thoughts to clear the mind.

Izhodišče moje diplomske naloge je danes še tako pomembno vprašanje sobivanja človeka z naravnim okoljem, pri čemer sem se osredotočila na človeka tradicionalne družbe, kamor spadajo tudi slovenski staroverski predniki. Ker se slovenski staroverski način življenja razodeva preko simbolov, mitov in obredov, povezanih z letnim ciklom, sem se odločila oblikovati in ilustrirati tedenski rokovnik za leto 2022, skozi katerega uporabnika z njimi seznanim. Zaradi obsežnosti in razkropljenosti podatkov o slovenskem staroverstvu sem naredila izbor 12 tem, vezanih na letni cikel, katere sem ilustrirala in umestila v nastali rokovnik. Z idejo povezanosti slovenskih staroverskih prednikov z naravnimi procesi sovpada izvedba samih ilustracij, ki je nastala preko eksperimentiranja oplemenitenja papirja z naravnimi materiali, kot je kava. Ilustracije zaznamujejo organske forme, ki podprejo samo vsebino. Cilj diplomske naloge je uporabniku vsaj malo približati svet, kot so ga dojemali naši predniki in v njemu zbuditi zanimanje za nadaljnje raziskovanje te skrivnostne plati naše zgodovine. The basis for my diploma thesis has been an important topic of human co-existence with natural habitat. I have focused on a human being in a traditional society where our Slovenian ancestors of old Slovenian religion belonged as well. Because the old Slovenian religious way of life is revealed through symbols, myths, and rituals, connected with the annual cycle, I have decided to design and illustrate a weekly planner for the year 2022 where I inform the user with the traditions. Due to extensiveness and spreading of data about the old Slovenian religion, I have chosen 12 topics, connected with annual cycle, which I have illustrated and placed in the planner. The idea of connection between ancestors of old Slovenian religion and natural processes coincides with illustrations, which have been in the making through experimenting (refining of paper with natural materials, such as coffee). Illustrations are marked by organic forms, which support the content. The goal of the diploma thesis has been to draw the world closer to the user in the way our ancestors understood it and to induce interest for further researching of the mysterious side of our history.

Diplomska naloga je razdeljena na raziskovalno-analitični in praktični del. Prvi del začenjam z raziskavo trajnostnega razvoja in predstavim sodobne smernice v okolju prijaznem oblikovanju. Nadaljujem s predstavitvijo dediščine starih obrti s fokusom na pletarstvu. Predstavim tudi praktično znanje, ki sem si ga iz prve roke pridobila pri obiskih pletarskih mojstrov. Pri oblikovanju pletene otroške gugalnice, ki jo predstavim v praktičnem delu diplomske naloge, sem upoštevala tako trajnostne smernice v oblikovanju kot tudi dediščinsko znanje naših prednikov. BA thesis is divided into research-analytical and practical part. The first part I begin with research on sustainable development along with current guidelines in environmentally friendly design. In connection with sustainable way of living of our ancestors, I continue with the presentation of traditional craftsmanships, focusing on weaving from natural materials. I also present practical knowledge, which I gained from local weavers. Designed swing for children, which I present in the practical part of my thesis, is, therefore, a synthesis of sustainable guidelines in design and rich heritage of traditional craftsmanship.

V svojem diplomskem delu »Ustvarjanje v fotografiji in slikarstvu« sem raziskovala razliko med ustvarjanjem v fotografiji in slikarstvu. Sprašujem se, ali je v fotografiji dovolj svobode, da se enači s slikarstvom na ravni možnosti tematiziranja posamezne likovne ideje. Morda vsaka dopolnjuje svoje pomanjkljivosti drugače, a zdi se, da ima slika širši razpon likovnega jezika. Obravnavala sem določen miselni proces v obeh medijih, in sicer skozi abstrakcijo. Izbrano temo sem obravnavala z raziskovanjem literature o fotografiji in slikarstvu ter raziskovanjem pomembnih avtorjev na tem področju. Praktični del pa sem razdelila na slikanje in fotografijo ter v vsak medij umeščala enake vsebinske komponente. Zanima me razpon možnosti oblik, barv, formata in dimenzij. Končni izdelek sta fotografija in slika v primerjavi. In my thesis »Creating in photography and pinting«, I explored the difference between creating in photography and painting. I wonder if there is enough freedom in photography to equate it with painting at the level of the possibility of thematizing a particular artistic idea? Maybe each complements its flaws in a different way, but the painting seems to have a greater range of visual language. I addressed a particular thought process in both media, namely through abstraction. I addressed the chosen topic by researching the literature on photography and painting and by researching important authors in this field. I divided the practical part into painting and photography and placed the same content components in each media. I am interested in the range of shape, color, format and dimensional options. The final product is a photo and pictures compared.

V diplomskem delu se bom ukvarjala s pojavom zaslepitve, ki ga ustvari barva kot ekran med vidnim in zastrtim. Pojem ekrana uporabljam v pomenu prepreke pred uvidom resničnega bistva in ni vezan na psihoanalitsko pojmovanje zaslona. Z zaslepitvijo mislim na zdrs od vidljivosti, utripajoč učinek barvnih kontrastov na organ vida, ki med drsenjem po površini slike prej zaznava barvne odnose kot odnose v obliki, zato se mu razkritje motiva izmika. Ker zaslepitev proizvaja barva, je ta tudi središče mojega zanimanja, zato začenjam z orisom barvnega fenomena. Nato se bom lotila analize pojava zaslepitve s pomočjo fenomenologije in Didi-Hubermanovih spoznanj iz knjige Confronting Images, v kateri se avtor ukvarja z nenavadnim, zaslepljujočim učinkom beline na fra Angelicovi freski Oznanjenje. Navedeno uporabim kot matrico tudi za razumevanje delovanja barve kot ekrana zaslepitve v svojem delu. In my dissertation, I will deal with the phenomenon of blinding created by color as a screen between the visible and the veiled. I use the notion of the screen as a barrier against seeing the real essence and it is not tied to the psychoanalytic notion of the screen. By blinding, I mean the slip from visibility, the flickering effect of color contrasts on the apparatus of vision, which, as it scrolls over the surface of the image, perceives color relationships rather than relationships in form, so the disclosure of the motif eludes it. Since blinding effect is produced by colour, the latter is also the center of my interest, so I begin by outlining the color phenomenon. I then proceed to analyse the phenomenon of blinding through phenomenology and Didi-Huberman’s insights from the book Confronting Images, in which the author deals with the unusual, blinding effect of whiteness on Fra-Angelico’s fresco The Annunciation. I use this as a matrix, also to understand how colour works as a screen of blinding, in my own work.
