On the basis of the first law of black hole thermodynamics, we propose the concept of effective temperature of de Sitter (dS) black holes and conjecture that the effective temperature should be the temperature of the dS black holes when the Hawking radiation temperatures of the black hole horizon and the cosmological horizon are equal. Choosing different independent variables, we can find a differential equation satisfied by the entropy of the dS black hole. It is shown that the differential equation of entropy is independent of the choice of independent variables. From the differential equation, we get the entropy of dS black hole and other effective thermodynamic quantities. We also discuss the influence of several parameters on the effective thermodynamic quantities.

Some ones have showed the first-order phase transition of the Horava-Lifshitz (HL) AdS black holes has unique characters from other AdS black holes. While the coexistence zone of the first-order phase transition was not exhibited. As well known the coexistence curve of a black hole carries a lot of information about black hole, which provides a powerful diagnostic of the thermodynamic properties on black hole. We study the first-order phase transition coexistence curves of the HL AdS black holes by the Maxwell's equal-area law, and give the boundary of two-phase coexistence zone. It is very interesting that the first-order phase transition point is determined by the pressure F on the surface of the HL AdS black hole's horizon, instead of only the pressure P (or the temperature T). This unique property distinguishes the HL AdS black hole from the other AdS black hole systems. Furthermore, this black hole system have the critical curves, and on which every point stands for a critical point.

In this paper, we investigate the combined effects of the cloud of strings and quintessence on the thermodynamics of a Reissner-Nordstr\"om-de Sitter black hole. Based on the equivalent thermodynamic quantities considering the correlation between the black hole horizon and the cosmological horizon, we extensively discuss the phase transitions of the space-time. Our analysis prove that similar to the case in AdS space-time, second-order phase transitions could take place under certain conditions, with the absence of first-order phase transition in the charged de Sitter black holes with cloud of string and quintessence. The effects of different thermodynamic quantities on the phase transitions are also quantitatively discussed, which provides a new approach to study the thermodynamic qualities of unstable dS space-time. Focusing on the entropy force generated by the interaction between the black hole horizon and the cosmological horizon, as well as the Lennard-Jones force between two particles, our results demonstrate the strong degeneracy between the entropy force of the two horizons and the ratio of the horizon positions, which follows the surprisingly similar law given the relation between the Lennard-Jones force and the ratio of two particle positions. Therefore, the study of the entropy force between two horizons, is not only beneficial to the deep exploration of the three modes of cosmic evolution, but also helpful to understand the correlation between the microstates of particles in black holes and those in ordinary thermodynamic systems., Comment: 14 pages, 35 figures

As is well known that RN-AdS black hole has a phase transition which is similar to that of van der Waals system. The phase transition depends on the electric potential of the black hole and is not the one between a large black hole and a small black hole. On this basis, we introduce a new order parameter and use the Landau continuous phase transition theory to discuss the critical phenomenon of RN-AdS black hole and give the critical exponent. By constructing the binary fluid model of black hole molecules, we investigate the microstructure of black holes. Furthermore, by studying the effect of the spacetime scalar curvature on the phase transition, we find that the charged and uncharged molecules of black holes are with different microstructure red which is like fermion gas and boson gas., Comment: 15 pages,2 figures

DP-coloring (also known as correspondence coloring) is a generalization of list coloring introduced recently by Dvo\v{r}\'ak and Postle (2017). In this paper, we prove that every planar graph $G$ without $4$-cycles adjacent to $k$-cycles is DP-$4$-colorable for $k=5$ and $6$. As a consequence, we obtain two new classes of $4$-choosable planar graphs. We use identification of verticec in the proof, and actually prove stronger statements that every pre-coloring of some short cycles can be extended to the whole graph., Comment: 12 pages

In this paper, using Maxwell's equal-area law we study the phase transition of charged AdS black holes by choosing different independent conjugate variables. As is well known, the phase transition can be characterized by the state function of the system, the determination of the phase transition point has nothing to do with the choice of independent conjugate variables. To studying the thermodynamic properties of AdS black holes we give the conditions under which the independent conjugate variables are chosen. When the charge of the black hole is invariable, according to the conditions we find that the phase transition is related to the electric potential and the horizon radius of the charged black hole. Keeping the cosmological constant as a fixed parameter, the phase transition of a charged AdS black hole is related to the ratio of the event horizon to cosmological constant of the black hole. Virtual element methods is a new promising finite element methods using general polygonal meshes. Its optimal a priori error estimates are well established in the literature. In this paper, we take a different viewpoint. We try to uncover the superconvergent property of the virtual element methods by doing some local post-processing only on the degrees of freedom. Using linear virtual element method as an example, we propose a universal recovery procedure to improve the accuracy of gradient approximation for numerical methods using general polygonal meshes. Its capability of serving as a posteriori error estimators in adaptive methods is also investigated. Compared to the existing residual-type a posteriori error estimators for the virtual element methods, the recovery-type a posteriori error estimator based on the proposed gradient recovery technique is much simpler in implementation and asymptotically exact. A series of benchmark tests are presented to numerically illustrate the superconvergence of recovered gradient and validate the asymptotical exactness of the recovery-based a posteriori error estimator., Comment: Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences, 2019

From a new perspective, we discuss the thermodynamic entropy of $n+2$-dimensional Reissner-Nordstr\"om-de Sitter(RNdS) black hole and analyze the phase transition of the effective thermodynamic system. Considering the correlations between the black hole event horizon and the cosmological horizon, we conjecture that the total entropy of the RNdS black hole should contain an extra term besides the sum of the entropies of the two horizons. In the lukewarm case, the effective temperature of the RNdS black hole is the same as that of the black hole horizon and the cosmological horizon. Under this condition, we obtain the extra contribution to the total entropy. In this paper, by taking de Sitter space-time as a thermodynamic system, we study the equivalent thermodynamic quantities of de Sitter black hole in massive gravity, and furthermore obtain the equivalent thermodynamic quantities of the space-time. Our results show that the entropy of this type of space-time takes the same form as that in Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter space-time, which lays a solid foundation for deeply understanding the universal thermodynamic characteristics of de Sitter space-time in the future. Moreover, our analysis indicates that the equivalent thermodynamic quantities and relevant parameters play a very important role, especially in the investigation of the stability and evolution of de Sitter space-time., Comment: 6 pages, 6 figures

Under two different metric ansatzes, the noncommutative geometry inspired black holes (NCBH) in the framework of Rastall gravity are derived and analyzed. We consider the fluid-type matter with the Gaussian-distribution smeared mass density. Taking a Schwarzschild-like metric ansatz, it is shown that the noncommutative geometry inspired Schwarzschild black hole (NCSBH) in Rastall gravity, unlike its counterpart in general relativity (GR), is not a regular black hole. It has at most one event horizon. After showing a finite maximal temperature, the black hole will leave behind a point-like massive remnant at zero temperature. Considering a more general metric ansatz and a special equation of state of the matter, we also find a regular NCBH in Rastall gravity, which has a similar geometric structure and temperature to that of NCSBH in GR., Comment: 12 pages, 5 figures. to match the published version

We discuss black hole solutions of Einstein gravity in presence of nonlinear electrodynamics in dS spacetime. Considering prescribed entropy, thermodynamic volume of dS spacetime, We investigate properties of the effective thermodynamic quantities under influence of nonlinearity parameter $\alpha$. They show a similar phase transition and criticality properties with that of black holes in AdS spacetime. And the nonlinearity parameter $\alpha$ combined with electric charge is found to have effects on the phase structure. In this paper, by analyzing the thermodynamic properties of charged AdS black hole and asymptotically flat space-time charged black hole in the vicinity of the critical point, we establish the correspondence between the thermodynamic parameters of asymptotically flat space-time and nonasymptotically flat space-time, based on the equality of black hole horizon area in the two different space-time. The relationship between the cavity radius (which is introduced in the study of asymptotically flat space-time charged black holes) and the cosmological constant (which is introduced in the study of nonasymptotically flat space-time) is determined. The establishment of the correspondence between the thermodynamics parameters in two different space-time is beneficial to the mutual promotion of different time-space black hole research, which is helpful to understand the thermodynamics and quantumproperties of black hole in space-time., Comment: 6 pages,4 figures

Based on the consideration that the black hole horizon and the cosmological horizon of Kerr-de Sitter black hole are not independent each other, we conjecture the total entropy of the system should have an extra term contributed from the correlations between the two horizons, except for the sum of the two horizon entropies.
