Non Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) of the testis in young patient are rare. Bilateral involvement varies from 5 to 20% of cases and has a negative prognosis. The authors report a case of bilateral non Hodgkin's lymphoma of the testis in a 35 year old man. The patient died six months after the diagnosis.

Colic metaplasia of the urinary bladder is a rare disease, secondary to a chronic irritative factor. In its minor form, it has the same clinical features as simple cystitis, but its major pseudoneoplastic form may be mistaken for bladder tumor. The diagnosis is essentially histological. Treatment is based on eradication of the irritative factor and of the resection of pseudoneoplastic form. Surgery is performed in the case of complications of this disease. The clinical course is unclear, requiring long-term surveillance. We report one case of colic-type glandular metaplasia of the urinary bladder in a 50 years-old patient. The clinical symptomatology was dominated by hematuria and pollakuria. A bladder neoplasm was highly suspected in ultrasound and endoscopic findings. The patient underwent a transurethral resection of the bladder tumor. Histological examination of of resection shavings revealed a colic-type glandular metaplasia.

We report one case of neuroendocrine tumour of the prostate in a 74 years old patient. The clinical symptomatology was dominated by pollakuria, dysuria. Digital rectal examination showed a bulky prostate, hard and irregular. The rate of PSA was high (23 ng/mL). The endorectal ultrasonography revealed a pelvic heterogeneous mass depending of prostate. The biopsy showed an adenocarcinoma of prostate. The patient underwent a transuretral resection of the prostate (TURP) and pulpectomy. Histology and immunohistochemistry through antibody anti NES and antibody antisynaptophysin of shavings of resection revealed a neuroendocrine tumour of the prostate. Twelve months after, the lung X-ray, abdominal ultrasonography and bone scintigram was normal. The rate of PSA was 2.1 ng/mL.

The authors report the case of a 45-year-old patient who presented with a left latero-aortic paraganglioma associated with gastric schwannosarcoma. Treatment consisted of resection of the chromaffin tumour and the gastric tumour, with a favourable course at last follow-up. The authors review the literature on this subject.

The authors report a case of sarcomatoid carcinoma of the prostate in a 49-year-old patient. The clinical symptoms were dominated by dysuria and frequency. Digital rectal examination showed a very large, hard and irregular prostate. Serum PSA was normal. Transrectal ultrasonography and abdominopelvic computed tomography showed a heterogeneous mass occupying the vesico-prostatic junction. The patient underwent cystoprostatectomy. Histological examination of the cystoprostatectomy specimen revealed a tumour composed of spindle cells expressing epithelial markers on immunohistochemical analysis and concluded on a diagnosis of sarcomatoid carcinoma of the prostate. The patient died seven months after cystoprostatectomy.

The authors report a case of hydatid cyst of the psoas muscle in 23 years old woman who presented a left lumboiliac mass. Ultrasonography and computed tomography contributed to the preoperative diagnosis. The cyst was removed by retroperitoneal approach by left lumbotomy. In the light of this case and the literature data, the authors discuss the diagnosis and therapeutic problems raised by hydatid cyst of the psoas muscle.
