53. Explicit computation of sampling period in periodic event-triggered multi-agent control

Abstract

This paper investigates the synchronization of nonlinear sampled-data multi-agent systems. The purpose is to obtain an explicit formula for the maximum allowable sampling period (MASP) that guarantees exponential synchronization. Two implementation scenarios are considered. We first propose an approach on finding the MASP for periodic time-triggered sampled-data control. Then, a periodic event-triggered communication and control strategy is formulated, where a communication function and a control function are designed for each agent to determine whether or not the sampled data or the control input should be transmitted at each sampling instant. It is shown that there is a tradeoff between the sampling frequency and the convergence performance. Abstract

This note is concerned with the consensus of linear multiagent systems under tactile communication. Motivated by the emerging tactile communication technology where extremely low latency has to be supported, a distributed event-triggered communication and control scheme is proposed for the data reduction of each agent. First, an event-triggered data reduction scheme is designed for the communication between neighbors. Under such a communication scheme, a distributed event-triggered output feedback controller is further implemented for each agent, which is updated asynchronously with the communication action. It is proven that the consensus of the underlying multiagent systems is achieved asymptotically. Furthermore, it is shown that the proposed communication and control strategy fulfils the reduction of both the frequency of communication and controller updates as well as excluding Zeno behavior. Abstract

It is the random and irregular and variable properties of disturbance signal in the detection of power quality, there is lack of mature methods for detection and location of PQ disturbances. An improved morphological undecimated wavelet scheme was presented in this paper and applied to the detection of power quality disturbance. The improved MUDW scheme, which meets signal reconstruction conditions, contains broad open-close or close-open filter and morphological gradient which detect mutations on the top and bottom edges of signal. It used MATLB to detect transient or steady state with single or composite disturbance signals and made comparison with the existing form of sampling wavelet. The result shows that the new MUDW scheme can recognize and detect the signal and has a good anti-noise performance.

Abstract

An improved radial basis function neural network is proposed that preprocessing is the key to improving the precision of short-term load forecasting. This paper presents a new model which is based on classical RBF neural network, combine the GA-optimized SVM radial basis function and RBF neural network. According to the date of the type, temperature, weather conditions and other factors ,The Application of combined GA-optimized SVM radial basis function is used to extract useful data to improve the load forecasting accuracy of RBF neural network. Spring load data of California were applied for simulation. The simulation indicates that the new method is feasible and the forecasting precision is greatly improved.

Abstract

This paper investigates an event-triggered output feedback control strategy of linear systems under tactile communication, for which two different frameworks are considered. Motivated by the emerging tactile communications technology where latencies are very small but at the price of limited message sizes, a perception-based deadband principle is proposed for the data reduction of communication. In each framework, under an assumption that the deadband factor is upper bounded with respect to the system model, it is proven that global asymptotic stability of the closed loop system is achieved. Then, an event-triggered output feedback controller under tactile communication is further introduced. It is shown that the designed controller is capable of reducing the frequency of controller updates as well as excluding Zeno behavior. Short Term Load Forecasting is important to power system. It can be economic and reasonable to arrange start and stop of the Generator in wire net, The text adopt radial basis function neural networks. The GA-optimized multi-core radial basis function SVM is applied to extract useful data and short-term load forecasting accuracy based on RBF neural network has been improved. In this paper, The advantages of improving the algorithm is demonstrated by the application of the MATLAB simulation with the input data of the spring load collected from California, United States.

Abstract

In this paper, consensus problem of general linear multi-agent systems is investigated with distributed event-triggered strategy, where directed communication topology is considered. Firstly, a distributed event-triggered controller is designed, so that the controller updates for each agent only trigger at its own triggering time instants. Then, a sufficient condition is presented to guarantee the consensus. It is shown that by utilizing only the information of neighbors, which is transmitted by neighbors at their own triggering time instants, consensus can be achieved asymptotically. Finally, a simulation example is presented to verify the theoretical results.

73. Suppression of eEF-2K-mediated autophagy enhances the cytotoxicity of raddeanin A against human breast cancer cells in vitro

Abstract

Recent evidence shows that raddeanin A (RA), an oleanane-type triterpenoid saponin extracted from Anemone raddeana Regel, exerts remarkable cytotoxicity against cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. In addition, RA has also been found to activate autophagy in human gastric cancer cells. In this study, we investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying RA-induced autophagy as well as the relationship between RA-induced autophagy and its cytotoxicity in human breast cancer cells in vitro. Treatment with RA (2–8 μmol/L) dose-dependently enhanced autophagy, as evidenced by increased LC3 levels in breast cancer cell lines T47D, MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231. Furthermore, the Akt-mTOR-eEF-2K signaling pathway was demonstrated to be involved in RA-induced activation of autophagy in the 3 breast cancer cell lines. Treatment with RA (2–10 μmol/L) dose-dependently induced apoptosis in the 3 breast cancer cell lines. Pretreatment with the autophagy inhibitor chloroquine (CQ, 20 μmol/L) significantly enhanced RA-caused cytotoxicity via promoting apoptosis. In conclusion, our results suggest that modulating autophagy can reinforce the cytotoxicity of RA against human breast cancer cells.

Abstract

In this paper, we proposed a new hybrid control algorithm to achieve leader–follower flocking in multi-agent systems. In the algorithm, the position is transmitted continuously, whereas the velocity is utilized discretely, which is governed by a distributed event-triggered mechanism, and the neighbors’ velocity is not required to detect the event-triggered condition for each agent. It is shown that stable flocking is achieved asymptotically while the connectivity of networks is preserved. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the theoretical results. Abstract

A one-dimensional (1D) BiOI/Bi4O5I2/Bi2O2CO3 p–n–p heterojunction photocatalyst was synthesized by a low-temperature solution method using Bi2O3 nanorods as sacrificial templates. The formation mechanism of BiOI/Bi4O5I2/Bi2O2CO3 heterostructure was discussed in detail according to the results of IR, XPS, TEM, SEM mapping, XRD and SEM. Compared with pure BiOI, Bi2O2CO3 and Bi4O5I2, this ternary p–n–p heterojunction exhibited superior photodegradation efficiency of rhodamine B (100%) and methylene blue (97%) in 45 min under solar light irradiation, which was about 40, 25 and 10 times of pure BiOI, Bi2O2CO3 and Bi4O5I2, respectively. This enhanced photocatalytic performance was ascribed to the high separation rate of photo-generated carriers in the internal electric field due to the formation of p–n–p junctions and a relatively large BET surface area (36.29 g m−2). More importantly, 1D heterostructure is beneficial for the transport of photo-generated electron–hole pairs and further improves the rate of photocatalytic reaction. Radical scavenger experiments revealed that the photo-generated holes were primarily active species in the photocatalytic system. 82. Facile Fabrication of Bi12O17Br2/Bi24O31Br10Type II Heterostructures with High Visible Photocatalytic Activity

Abstract

One-dimensional (1D) Bi12O17Br2/Bi24O31Br10type II heterostructures were synthesized by calcining BiOBr/Bi(OHC2O4)·2H2O heterostructures in air at 400 °C. The photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared products was evaluated by the degradation of phenol and Rhodamin B (RhB) under visible light irradiation. The Bi12O17Br2/Bi24O31Br10hierarchical heterostructures show enhanced visible light catalytic activity with the increase of the loaded/Bi24O31Br10content, which results from the efficient separation of photogenerated charge carriers due to the staggered band potentials of the two materials. Radical scavenger experiments confirm that photogenerated holes (h+) are the main active species for oxidizing RhB molecules during the photocatalytic processes.
