Electronic structure of the monolayer strontium ruthenate Sr 2 RuO 4 was investigated by high-resolution angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy. We present photon-energy ( h ν ) dependence of the electronic structure near the Fermi level along the Γ M line. The h ν dependence has shown a strong spectral weight modulation of the Ru 4 d xy and 4 d zx bands.
