Sodium saccharin is a common artificial sweetener. However, due to its possible carcinogenic effects and causing metabolic disorders, many countries have strictly regulated its use in food. In the study, we prepared a specific monoclonal antibody (mAb 2H11) using the new hapten (6-carboxylsaccharin) and developed a direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (dcELISA) for the screening of sodium saccharin residue in food. The half-maximum inhibition concentration (IC50 ) and working range (IC20 -IC80 , the concentrations causing 20% and 80% inhibition by sodium saccharin) were 32.5 and 6.47 to 164 ng/mL, which was 6.5 times more sensitive than the previously reported immunoassay. The average recoveries of sodium saccharin in spiked food samples detected by dcELISA ranged from 82.1% to 117%. Among 70 food samples bought in the physical stores and online, sodium saccharin residues were only detected in four samples purchased online (one canned pineapple, two winter jujube, and one kimchi). The content measured by dcELISA agreed well with those determined by ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). The developed dcELISA was proved to be a sensitive and accurate method for determining sodium saccharin in food. PRACTICAL APPLICATION: Quantitation of sodium saccharin residue in food is very necessary and important for consumers and regulatory agencies.

In order to investigate the effect of treated recycled aggregates by pre-soaking calcium hydroxide (CH) combined with CO₂ curing on the carbonation resistance of fully recycled concrete. The carbonation depth of fully recycled concrete was tested at 3, 7, 14 and 28 days using the rapid carbonation method. The experimental results show that with the recycled aggregate replacement rate rising, the carbonation resistance of fully recycled concrete gradually decreases. CH pretreatment combined with CO₂ curing effectively improves the quality of the recycled aggregate, thereby improving the carbonation resistance of fully recycled concrete. The optimum effect of CO₂ curing on fully recycled concrete is achieved with the recycled fine aggregate replacement rate of 70% and the recycled coarse aggregate replacement rate of 100%. In addition, microscopic tests were used to reveal the enhancement mechanism of CH pretreatment combined with CO₂ curing increases the carbonation resistance of fully recycled concrete. Experimental data were used to fit and model the carbonation depth of fully recycled concrete formulated before and after CO₂ curing of recycled aggregates.

【Objective】 Irrigation modulates water movement in soil and its bioavailability to crop roots. This study is to investigate the effect of different irrigation methods on water consumption and water use efficiency of soybean during its whole growth period, with an aim to help develop water-saving irrigation. 【Method】 The field experiment was conducted in 2021 in Wuwei, Gansu province. It compared four irrigation methods: drip irrigation under film mulching, drip irrigation without mulching, border irrigation with film mulching, and border irrigation without mulching. The Bowen ratio-energy balance system was used to continuously monitor the changes in microclimate, crop growth and yield, water consumption (ET) and water use efficiency (WUE). 【Result】 ①Film mulching increased net radiation (Rn) of the soybean by 6.58 W/m2, compared to no mulching; Soil temperature increased by 1.30 ℃ relative to drip irrigation. ②irrigation method and mulching affected physiological indexes of the soybean both at significant levels. Film mulching increased the leaf area index (LAI) significantly by 18.29%, compared to no mulching, while the border irrigation increased the LAI by 5.45%, compared to drip irrigation. ③Film mulching and drip irrigation reduced the ET significantly over the whole growth period, with the mulched drip irrigation having the least ET - 378.92 mm, compared to other treatments. ④Among all environmental and biological factors, Rn and LAI are correlated with ET positively and most significantly. ⑤The yield of soybean under mulched drip irrigation was 18.07%, 5.27% and 11.17% higher than that of non-mulched drip irrigation, film mulched border irrigation, and non-mulched border irrigation, respectively. Film mulching increased WUE by 25.93% compared to no mulching, and drip irrigation increased WUE by 34.62% compared to border irrigation. The mulched drip irrigation increased WUE by 31.15%, 42.86% and 70.21%, respectively, compared to non-film mulched drip irrigation, film-mulched border irrigation and non-film mulched border irrigation. 【Conclusion】 Compared to drip irrigation without film, border irrigation with film and border irrigation without film, the yield of drip irrigation under film increased by an average of 11.51%, ET decreased by 24.13%, and WUE increased by 48.07% and irrigation water use efficiency improved by 46.57%; Taking into account the water consumption, yield and water use efficiency of soybean, drip irrigation under film provided a more benefit growth environment for soybean growth and significantly reduced ET and increased yield.

North China has specific regional advantages in the overall economic and social development of China, and water resources are the most prominent factor that affects the sustainable development of this region. This study focuses on the land spatial layout of water-and-land adapted planting in North China. Based on the analysis of agricultural planting structure and water and land resource layout in the current year (2018) of North China, and considering varied population, climate, and socio-economic scenarios and water resource constraints, the study proposes a scheme for optimizing the agricultural planting layout in North China that adapts to local water and land resource conditions. We suggest that the burden on production and supply of commercial grain and other commercial agricultural products in North China should be appropriately reduced. In terms of improving the regional water resource carrying capacity, Hebei Province should alleviate its water shortage through water transfer. Shanxi Province should improve the agricultural water use efficiency through agricultural mechanization and modernization. Shandong Province and Henan Province can moderately fallow the land and improve forest and grass coverage. It is also recommended to optimize the spatial layout of agricultural planting and adjust the planting structure to adapt to water. In shallow groundwater overexploitation areas as well as Tianjin City and the southeast of Hebei Plain where deep groundwater overexploitation is severe, semi-arid land planting systems and structures that adapt to precipitation should be developed, and the specific recuperation period should be determined according to the rate of groundwater recharge.

Objective: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the efficacy of combination scalp acupuncture in treating post-stroke cognitive impairment. Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted across eight databases: PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Database, Embase, CBM, CNKI, WanFang, and VIP, targeting randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from the inception of these databases until October 24, 2024. The inclusion criteria focused on RCTs that compared scalp acupuncture with conventional treatments as therapeutic interventions for patients suffering from post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI). The effectiveness of these treatments was evaluated using various outcome measures, including the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), the Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment (LOTCA), as well as P300 latency and amplitude, which collectively assess cognitive function. Two independent reviewers conducted a risk of bias (ROB2) assessment, and data analysis was performed using Review Manager (RevMan) version 5.4. Results: This analysis included a total of 28 studies involving 1,995 patients. However, according to the standards of the ROB2 tool, most of these studies exhibited various methodological issues. The comprehensive analysis indicates that the efficacy of combined scalp acupuncture in treating post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) is superior to that of single treatments, as evidenced by improvements across multiple scales, including the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Loewenstein Occupational Therapy Cognitive Assessment (LOTCA), P300 latency, and amplitude. Specifically, the overall effective rate was reported as (RR = 1.28, 95% CI: 1.14–1.45, p < 0.0001; I 2 = 51%, random effects model). The mean differences for the various scales were as follows: MoCA (MD = 3.55, 95% CI: 2.68–4.41, I 2 = 93%, random effects model), MMSE (MD = 3.78, 95% CI: 2.83–4.73, I 2 = 94%, random effects model), LOTCA (MD = 9.70, 95% CI: 7.72–11.69, I 2 = 57%, random effects model), P300 latency (MD = −21.83, 95% CI: −26.31 to −17.35, I 2 = 55%, random effects model), and amplitude (MD = 1.05, 95% CI: 0.76–1.34, I 2 = 0%, fixed effects model), demonstrating low, medium, and high levels of heterogeneity, respectively. Notably, one study reported an adverse event related to participant withdrawal during the study. Conclusion: Combination scalp acupuncture exhibits superior efficacy compared to single-treatment modalities in patients with post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI). However, the higher risk of bias (ROB) in the included trials suggests that the quality of evidence about these assessment results may be compromised. Therefore, there is an urgent need for additional high-quality clinical trials to further validate the efficacy and effectiveness of combined scalp acupuncture in treating PSCI, ultimately enhancing the overall level of evidence. The field of electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) biosensing has witnessed remarkable growth, emphasizing the need for precise detection of biomarkers. The synthesis approach of peptide‐based signal probe with high recognition ability and high ECL efficiency is a significant issue in the ECL biosensing. Here, a heavily labeled signal probe was synthesized for ECL peptide‐based biosensing tactic by using a new aldehyde bearing cyclometalated Ir(III) complex ([Ir(bt)2(bpy‐CHO)PF6 (bt=2‐phenylbenzothiazole, bpy‐CHO=4'‐methyl‐[2,2'‐bipyridine]‐4‐carbaldehyde, denoted as Ir1) as ECL signal reagent and streptavidin (SA) as carrier protein. One ECL peptide‐based biosensing method was exemplified for the detection of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP‐2) by using Ir1 labeled SA (SA−Ir1) as heavily labeled signal probe and biotinylated peptide as molecular recognition substrate. MMP‐2 was sensitively detected in the range from 5 to 100 ng/mL with a detection limit of 1.5 ng/mL. Importantly, two detection modes differing in the order of cleavage recognition by MMP‐2 and signal transduction with SA−Ir1 were compared for the first time. First cleavage and second signal transduction were proposed to be beneficial to sensitive detection of target, which provides some ideas for biomarker diagnostics in disease screening at an early stage. Narrative care for families suffering from perinatal loss is rarely provided by medical institutions in China Mainland. However, with the advancement of the Chinese narrative medicine theory and practice, the clinical significance of narrative care has been increasingly recognized. Based on the principles of Chinese narrative medicine, this narrative case study described traumatic narrative foreclosures occuring in a family suffering from stillbirth, and highlighted the multidisciplinary collaboration for practising narrative care in the process of supporting the bereaved in our hospital. Meanwhile, we advocate the establishment of a narrative care ecology by training more obsteticians and nurses with good narrative competence in purpose of helping the family experiencing perinatal losses to overcome their tramatic narrative foreclosures, increasing the chances of another successful pregnancy and childbirth as well as enhancing their quality of life. This study aimed to assess the associations between sprint force–velocity profile variables with change of direction (COD) performance and to investigate the impact of these variables on asymmetries in COD speed performance. Ninety-nine participants (volleyball players: n = 44, basketball players: n = 55) performed 40 m sprints for Fv relationship calculation, two COD tests (Modified Agility T-test and 505 test). A partial least squares (PLS) regression analysis was conducted to determine the relationships between the variables. The V0 was the most influential variable; it was negatively associated with COD performance variables (β = −0.260, −0.263 and −0.244 for MAT, 505-D and 505-ND, respectively), and F0 (β = 0.169, 0.163) was associated with the COD performance variables (COD deficit D and COD deficit ND, respectively), slightly larger than the effects of Fvslope (β = −0.162, −0.146), DRF (β = −0.159, −0.142) and Pmax (β = −0.162, −0.146). For COD deficit imbalance, the DRF (β = −0.070) was the most influential variable followed by Fvslope (β = −0.068), F0 (β = 0.046) and gender (β = 0.031). V0 and RFmax were the critical variables for improving COD performance that includes linear sprints, while DRF, Fvslope, F0 and Pmax collectively influence 180° COD performance. Meanwhile, DRF and Fvslope were important factors for asymmetries in COD speed performance. It is recommended to use the Fv profile to diagnose different COD movement patterns and then develop training plans accordingly for team sports played on smaller courts, such as basketball and volleyball. This paper presents a data set of a fire-induced collapse on an existing building with a truss roof. The data set contains the thermal and structural responses of the tested building, the mass loss of the fuel, the heat release rates, and the videos of the entire test. The test building and basic test scheme are introduced first. Then, the monitoring points and corresponding equipment are presented. All data obtained have been converted to a unified format and uploaded to a published data set. Detailed data formats and processing methods are introduced, and metadata are provided. To the authors' knowledge, this is the first open-access test data on fire-induced collapse of a real building, which is of great significance for further investigations on fire-induced building collapse and performance-based design for fire safety of buildings. This data set can be used to validate the existing temperature distribution models and develop deep-learning models in structural fire engineering. Moreover, the data set can validate and develop some cutting-edge theories and techniques in structural fire engineering, such as the approaches for the early-warning collapse of structures exposed to fire and the synchronous noncontact acquisition of structural deformation in fire.
