The article seeks to address contemporary challenges in developing integrated business structures associated with the need to upgrade and innovate most important industries, provide industrial restructuring, and reduce technological backwardness and attain high-tech manufacturing growth. An emphasis is put on the critical significance of modernization in gaining a competitive edge of the national economy that will enhance Ukraine’s positions in a modern globalized world. This study employs a wide range of various research tools, in particular, methods of analysis, synthesis, generalization and comparison – to determine the nature, economic content, structural elements and drivers affecting the process of integrated business structure development in Ukraine; structural and functional analysis – to identify relevant institutional structures; as well as integrated assessment techniques – to explore international best practice in building integrated business units. Given the current trends and the specifics, it is argued that company development within a business group model spurs continuous improvement and innovation to meet market digitalization demands. The findings reveal the key aspects in developing integrated business groups as a new type of institutional structures in Ukraine. The study also focuses on the goals of their further development to implement transformational changes along with considering a number of factors affecting the nature of enterprise reorganizations and restructuring in the frameworks of their integration into business groups. Within the scope of this research, integrated business groups are viewed as a driving force in boosting Ukraine's economic development. The study suggests that the government industrial and antitrust policies should actively promote integrated business group models, including the international ones, as long as corporate and national interests are reconciled. It is reported that integrated business groups account for 15% of the total industrial output, respectively, integrated business groups are mesoeconomic entities representing a new type of a social institution that attempts to forecast supply and demand in a particular world market segment and implements its predictive outcomes through big innovations.

The article is devoted to the study of innovative methods of optimizing the information and communication system of the local government of Ukraine in the changing conditions of nowadays. The main problem of the article is due to the need to eliminate the inconsistency of the modern unsatisfactory state of development of information support for the provision of public services by local self-government bodies of the territories of Ukraine with the requirements of Ukrainian society and the standards of European developed countries. The definition of the category “innovative municipal administration” has been clarified. Specific features of public service provision are defined according to four criteria (“service provision,” “restrictions,” “service concentration,” “monopoly of services”), which disclose their essence and main areas of improvement. The author's definition of the category “public service” is given. It was found that effective servicing of the needs of civil society and economic entities is impossible without the involvement of information systems and technologies and requires the implementation of systematic information support for the management and service activities of local self-government bodies. An innovative information and communication system has been formed to ensure the activities of local self-government bodies in the provision of public services.

The article is devoted to the need to form a professional-pedagogical culture of future specialists of physical culture and sports specialties in the process of professional training in a higher education institution. The purpose of the article is to study the problem of the formation of a professional-pedagogical culture of future specialists of physical culture and sports specialties. The article substantiates the importance of professional-pedagogical culture in the formation of future specialists of physical culture and sports specialties as a basis for improving the level of general culture (physical, spiritual-moral, intellectual, legal, economic, and others) and as a carrier of professional competence, that is, the basis for the formation of a high professional-pedagogical level. The results of the research showed the need to organize in the institution of higher education conditions and a set of measures aimed at the formation of a professional-pedagogical culture of future specialists, which makes it possible to strengthen educational work with them based on the translation of the values of the cultural and sports heritage of the subject of the state, the effective formation of their professionalism and pedagogical culture.

The purpose of the article isanalysis of the results of the study of the compliance of elements of reputation as a component of the management system of organizational development of enterprises of socially oriented business in the context of their connection with certain stages of development and crises. It has been established that a positive reputation creates favorable conditions for organizational development and effective functioning of enterprises in the market environment. The system of reputation management as a whole and each individual element of reputation depends on and directly affects management decisions regarding further response to changes in the external environment and the introduction of appropriate changes in the organizational structure of the enterprise. Among the elements of the reputation of socially oriented business enterprises, the following have the greatest influence: the external business reputation of the enterprise, the quality of products (services), social and environmental responsibility. At each stage of development, there is an evolutionary transition to a qualitatively new level, provided that crisis periods are successfully passed and a certain element of reputation is formed.

Flavanones are one of the flavonoid group that has wide variety of applications such as a precursors in drug discovery. In the laboratory, flavanone is often synthesized from chalcone compounds. The conversion of chalcone to flavanone can be catalyzed by bronsted acid. The reaction mechanism for this process is proposed through the Michael addition reaction, however, the energetic details and the rate determining step for this reaction is not certainly known. This research aimed to investigate the reaction mechanism for chalcone-flavanone conversion with the present of bronsted acid as catalyst and also studied the effect of the solvent on the reaction energy profile with computational method. In this study, the modeling of the reaction mechanism for the said reaction was carried out using the DFT computational method with M06-2X functional. The computation was done both in the gas phase and in present of the solvent effect using the PCM models. The results showed that the mechanism of chalcone-flavanone conversion occurred in three steps which are protonation, cyclization, and then tautomerization. Based on these calculations, the rate determining step was the tautomerization reaction, which exhibited the same results with or without the solvent effects. The oxidation of quinine using hydrogen peroxide yielded quinine N-oxide as a major product. The reaction can be accelerated in the presence of palladium chloride (PdCl2) as catalyst. The trace products, however, were identified as the further oxidation products at quinoline moiety producing N-Oxide as a major product and the secondary alcohol at C-9 producing the ketone, furthermore the alkene translocation product. The trace products were successfully isolated and characterized by NMR protons and carbons. Purification of the product was performed by column chromatography.

An in vitro dimer-based screening system (DBSS) for selecting new HIV-1 protease dimerization inhibitor candidates from natural compounds had been established. This system utilizes a fusion between HIV-1 protease and dimer binding domain of AraC protein (proteaseHIV1-AraCDBD) where fluorescence signal will be emitted in the presence of HIV-1 protease inhibitor. However, this screening system had not been evaluated. Therefore, this study was aimed to evaluate it in recombinant Escherichia coli culture. The expression of proteaseHIV1-AraCDBD fusion gene was observed for 18 hours. Its crude lysate isolation was done once every 3 hours and analyzed using SDS PAGE. To test the DBSS, darunavir was used as positive control, and Nigella sativa extract (JH3) was used as the test compound. The results of SDS PAGE analysis on crude lysates presented a ~24.2 kDa band, which was the predicted size of the proteaseHIV1-AraCDBD fusion protein based on its amino acid sequence. The growth curve and protein expression profiles revealed that the 15 hours was the optimum culture age to be used in the screening system. Darunavir testing in DBSS showed an increase in fluorescence signal compared to the negative control. The same increase in fluorescence signal was also obtained from the JH3 compound test. In conclusion, DBSS could be used as an assay to screen for new HIV-1 protease inhibitors, and the JH3 compound demonstrated the ability to inhibit HIV-1 protease dimerization.

Tephrosia vogelii Hook.f. is a species of the family Fabaceae (Leguminoceae). These plants are termed ″Polong-polongan″ in Indonesia, and are known to contain active flavonoid groups. Previous studies have shown the isolation of one known flavanone: isolonchocarpin from methanol extract, and the structure obtained was established based on chemical evidence as well as spectroscopic methods, including NMR, and also by a comparison with published data. This research is aimed at evaluating the cytotoxic property of methanol extract against larvae of Arthemia salina Leach, using the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. The results show potent cytotoxicity at LC50 of 41.40 ppm.

Two new quinone derivatives, epoxyquinophomopsins A (1) and B (2), were purified from the EtOAc extract of endophytic fungus Phomopsis sp isolated from Morus cathayana. The structures of both compounds were determined based on 1D and 2D NMR and mass spectral data, as well as by x-ray diffraction analysis for 1. Compounds 1 and 2 were screened against eight receptor- (RTKs) and eight non-receptor tyrosine kinases (nRTKs). Both compounds showed strong inhibitory properties against Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (nRTK) with their kinase activity were 19% and 20%, respectively. Only compound 1 that showed strong inhibitory properties against RTKs EGFR and HER-4 with its kinase activity were 16 and 15%, respectively. Thus, both compounds have potential as tyrosine kinase inhibitors.

Статтю присвячено дослідженню явища публічного контролю, визначенню його ролі в якості основного елементу взаємодії держави та суспільства, що створює підґрунтя для соціального спрямування політики держави. Так, серед факторів, які зумовлюють розвиток правової бази держави, автором зауважено на доцільності впровадження в процес нормотворення не лише органів влади, які наділені правотворчими функціями за Конституцією держави, а і тих неформальних соціальних структур, які, можливо, не будуть відігравати визначальної ролі в цьому процесі, однак зможуть надати аргументи «за» або «проти» прийняття певних нормативно-правових актів. У дослідженні з'ясовано, що державна влада вимагає контролю з боку громадськості, оскільки фактично саме остання надала їй повноваження для створення правового поля. В свою чергу публічний контроль, з точки зору автора, необхідний саме для досягнення ефективної комунікації між владою та громадянським суспільством. В рамках запропонованого дослідження проаналізовано вплив різноманітних факторів на якість здійснення публічного контролю. Зокрема, зазначено про значну роль інформаційної політики держави та використання сучасних цифрових технологій у забезпеченні доступу громадськості до публічних даних про діяльність державних інституцій. Автор підкреслює, що право кожного громадянина бути обізнаним в урядових справах та отримувати рішення, які стосуються діяльності громади, є основним принципом демократії. Влада повинна забезпечити простий спосіб доступу громадян до даних про свою роботу та правових норм, які вона створює. Саме тому дослідник доходить висновку про те, що рівень «прозорості» інформації про діяльність адміністративних органів і доступ до неї є умовою ефективного публічного контролю. Автором виявлені і недоліки практичного втілення принципу «транспарентності» в діяльності державної влади в Україні та запропоновано шляхи його удосконалення, спираючись на досвід Французької Республіки, яка досягла суттєвих успіхів у сфері нормативно-правового та технічного закріплення взаємовідносин між громадянами і державною владою.

In this report, the roasted Arabica coffees obtained from 4 Indonesian regions were analyzed with 1H NMR based-metabolomics. In total, 23 compounds were detected in the coffee 1H NMR spectra. Orthogonal projection to latent structure-discriminant analysis (OPLSDA) model successfully classified metabolites of the coffees based on their origins. S-plots of two-classes partial least square discriminant analysis (PLSDA) models successfully identified discriminant metabolites for every coffee. Chlorogenic acids, trigonelline, arabinoses were found as the discriminant compounds for Preanger-Java coffee. Lipids, acetic acid and lactic acid were discovered as the characteristic metabolites for Gayo-Sumatra coffee. γ-quinide was found as the most important marker for Bajawa-Flores coffee. Meanwhile, Toraja-Sulawesi coffee were characterized with a balance chemical composition indicating its well-balanced taste. The findings revealed the diversity of Indonesian Arabica coffees and shed more light on scientific information of Indonesian coffees.

Three new 5,6-dihydro-α-pyrones derivatives, named (S)-rugulactone (1) pulchrinervialactone A (2), and pulchrinervialactone B (4), along with one known pyrone, cryptobrachytone C (3), and three known amide derivatives (5-7) have been isolated from the leaves of Cryptocarya pulchrinervia. The structures of 1-7 were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic data and comparison with literatures. The configurations of compounds 3 and 4 were established by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. This is also the first report in finding (S)-rugulactone (1) as a natural product. In addition, the preliminary cytotoxic activity of the isolated compounds was evaluated against P-388 cells using the [3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide] assay. All the pyrones, except compound 4, were active significantly inhibiting the growth of P-388 cells, while the amides derivatives (5-7) showed moderate to weak activities. Therefore, compounds 1-3 could be potentially examined further for anticancer agents.

The article analyzes existing approaches to cost management; system and process approaches are defined as the most applicable. It is determined that with both of these approaches the object of cost management is managerial actions and relationships arising in the process of formation of certain characteristics of the status of costs (compliance with the limits of the remuneration fund, consumption of raw materials etc.); the subject of management are structural subdivisions of the enterprise and responsible persons who carry out cost management procedures. The system approach considers cost management as a system in which a set of interconnected elements is allocated, there are links, mechanisms of interaction between individual elements, which help to achieve a certain goal, are determined. The process approach proposes to apply a management cycle to manage costs. Therefore, to improve the efficiency of cost management, it is advisable to apply dualism of approaches, for which it is proposed to combine system and process approaches. It is proved that the cost management system should consist of two subsystems: 1) the formation of a cost management system and 2) the functioning of the cost management system. These subsystems differ in such features as: purpose, tasks, functions, elements, mechanism of interaction. Two subsystems of the cost management system are connected as follows: the purpose of the subsystem of the cost management system formation is to develop methodological support for the functioning of the cost management subsystem. At the same time, the functioning of the subsystem of the cost management system is the management cycle: planning, accounting, control, analysis. This shows the implementation of the process approach to cost management.

This research work aimed to evaluate the physiological quality of soybean seeds subjected to different chemical treatments, before and after seed treatment, throughout conventional storage. A completely randomized design was adopted, with 4 replications, in which the treatments were arranged in a 2 × 7 × 6 factorial scheme (time of treatment (before and after) × industrial seed treatment (IST) × storage period (0, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 days). For each IST, the specific volume of slurry was 0, 700, 900, 1400, 900, 1100 and 1600 100 kg-1 of seeds, respectively. A total of 2.5 kg of seeds, cultivar BMX Alvo RR, were used. After being treated, the seeds were placed in kraft paper bags and stored at controlled temperature and humidity in a cold chamber. Their physiological quality was evaluated after each storage period using standard germination test, first germination count, emergence speed index, final emergence in sand substrate, accelerated aging, radicle length, shoot length, and whole seedling length. Their physiological quality was reduced in treatments with higher volumes of slurry. Deleterious effects on vigor were observed with increasing storage period, both before and after IST. After seed treatment, the mean of the analyzed variables was considered higher, compared to the time prior to seed treatment.

Zero-dimensional Perovskite Magic-size Clusters play crucial roles in understanding and controlling nucleation and growth of semiconductor nanoparticles. However, their metastability behavior is a critical hindrance for reliable characterizations. Here, we report the first demonstration of using an excess amount of surface ligand and SiO2 as novel passivation for synthesizing the magic-sized clusters (MSCs) by the Ligand-assisted reprecipitation method. A synergetic effect between an excessed surface ligand and SiO2 inhibits the protonation and deprotonation reaction between amine-based and acid-based ligand, leading to enhanced PL stability. The obtained CH3NH3PbBr3 PMSCs/SiO2 retain 70% of its initial emission intensity in ambient conditions for 20 days. This passivation approach opens an entirely new avenue for the reliable characterizations of CH3NH3PbBr3 PMSCs, which will significantly broaden their application for understanding and controlling nucleation and growth of semiconductor nanoparticles.

Three new pyranoxanthones, calotetrapterins A-C (1-3) were isolated from the stem bark of Calophyllum tetrapterum Miq along with three known xanthones, α-mangostin (4), garciniafuran (5), and pyranojacareubin (6). All structures were elucidated based on their IR, UV, HRESIMS, 1 D (1H, 13C) and 2 D (HMBC, HMQC) NMR spectral data. Compounds 1-6 were tested to P-388 cells for cytotoxic activity, compound 2 exhibited high activity with IC50 value 1.0 μM.

Sektor kelautan dan perikanan merupakan salah satu sumber andalan dalam produksi pembangunan perikanan di Indonesia. Udang merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan utama dalam menunjang produksi pendapatan devisa non migas. Untuk mencapai target produksi sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, berbagai permasalahan menghambat upaya peningkatan produksi tersebut, antara lain kegagalan produksi akibat penyakit oleh bakteri Vibrio, sehingga penyakit ini dikenal sebagai ‘vibriosis’. Salah satu pencarian senyawa yang bersifat antibakteri adalah dengan cara melakukan penapisan terhadap senyawa-senyawa alam. Salah satu sumber senyawa alam adalah dari tumbuhan Tephrosia vogelii . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengisolasi senyawa dari tumbuhan T. vogelii sebagai sumber senyawa antibakteri terhadap dua bakteri Vibrio yaitu Vibrio alginolitycus dan Vibrio harveyi. Bahan ekstrak dibuat dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut aseton, sementara uji antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi agar secara in vitro . Deguelin dan tefrosin kemudian diisolasi dari ekstrak aseton daun T. vogelii. dengan metode difusi agar senyawa deguelin memberikan nilai inhibisi 6,3 mm terhadap V. harveyi dan 6,2 mm terhadap V alginolitycus . Sedangkan tefrosin memberikan nilai inhibisi 6,3 mm terhadap V. harveyi dan 6,6 mm terhadap V alginolitycus . Ini adalah evaluasi antibakteri pertama dari deguelin dan tefrosin terhadap dua bakteri yang diuji.

Macaranga merupakan salah satu genus terbesar dari famili Euphorbiaceae yang terdiri dari 300 spesies dengan nama lokal mahang-mahangan. Tumbuhan Macaranga tersebar luas di wilayah Afrika dan Madagaskar di bagian barat hingga ke wilayah tropis Asia, Australia utara dan kepulauan Pasifik. Di Indonesia tumbuhan Macaranga tersebar di beberapa daerah yaitu daerah Papua, Maluku, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Sumatera, Bangka, dan Jawa. Kajian fitokimia beberapa spesies Macaranga menunjukan adanya kelompok senyawa fenolik yaitu turunan flavonoid dan stilben, serta turunan terpenoid. Senyawa turunan fenolik tersebut memiliki keunikan dari struktur molekulnya, yaitu adanya subtituen tambahan dari metabolit terpenoid yaitu prenil (C 5 ), geranil (C 10 ), farnesil (C 15 ), dan geranilgeranil (C 20 ). Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan isolasi metabolit sekunder dari daun M. involucrata (Roxb.) Baill dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut aseton, kemudian dilanjutkan pemisahan dan pemurnian dengan menggunakan kromatografi cair vakum dan kromatografi radial untuk mendapatkan senyawa murni. Penentuan struktur dilakukan berdasarkan analisis data spektrum NMR 1D ( 1 H-NMR dan 13 C-NMR), NMR 2D (NOESY, TOCSY, HSQC, dan HMBC), dan spektrum massa (MS). Berdasarkan metodologi tersebut, dua senyawa turunan flavon yaitu 5,7,4’-trihidroksi-3’(3-metilbut-2-enil)-3-metoksiflavon ( 1 ) dan makarangin ( 2 ), telah berhasil diisolasi dari tumbuhan ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukan daun M. involucrata (Roxb.) Baill yang berasal dari Kabupaten Buton Tengah, Sulawesi Tenggara menghasilkan senyawa fenolik turunan flavonoid. Kata kunci: Euphorbiaceae, Macaranga involucrata (Roxb.) Baill, flavon. Macaranga is one of the largest genera of the family Euphorbiaceae comprising 300 species with local name “mahang-mahangan ” . Macaranga is widespread in the region of Africa and the west of Madagascar to the tropical regions of Asia, northern Australia, and the Pacific islands. In Indonesia Macaranga spread in several areas: Papua, Maluku, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, Sumatra, Bangka, and Java. Phytochemical studies showed the presence of several phenolic compounds such as flavonoids and stilbene derivatives. The phenolic compounds have a unique molecular structure with the addition of some substituents such as prenyl (C 5 ), geranyl (C 10 ), farnesyl (C 15 ), and geranylgeranyl (C 20 ). This research has been conducted on the isolation of secondary metabolites from the leaves of M. involucrata (Roxb.) Baill by maceration method using acetone, followed by separation and purification by using liquid vacuum chromatography and radial chromatography to obtain pure compounds. Determination of the structure is based on data analysis of 1D NMR spectrum (1H-NMR and 13C-NMR), 2D NMR ( 1 H- 1 HCOSY, NOESY, TOCSY, HSQC, and HMBC), and mass spectra (MS). Based on this methodology, two flavone derivatives 5,7,4'-trihydroxy-3'(3-methylbut-2-enyl)-3-methoxy flavone ( 1 ) and macarangin ( 2 ), have been isolated from this plant. Based on these results showed that leaf of M. involucrata (Roxb.) Baill from Central Buton, Southeast Sulawesi produces phenolic compounds from flavonoid derivatives. The purpose of study to determine the content of secondary metabolites, toxicity and antioxidant activity of bark extract from Artocarpus lanceifolius Roxb. The extracts were obtained by maceration method using hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate and methanol solvents, respectively. The extract obtained was tested for phytochemicals, toxicity test using the shrimp Brine Lethality Test (BSLT), antioxidant test using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1- picrylhydrazyl) method. Phytochemical test results showed that n-hexane extract contained terpenoids and steroids while flavonoid and phenol compounds contained in extracts of chloroform, ethyl acetate, and methanol. The dominant alkaloid compounds were found in ethyl acetate and methanol extracts. Toxicity values (LC50) for n-hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate extract were 1.0853 μg/mL, 0.1635 μg/mL, 0.3615 μg/mL and 0.2609 μg/mL respectively. The IC50 value of free radical scevange activity of chloroform extract, ethyl acetate were 19.66 μg/mL, 15.85 μg/mL, and 19.01 μg/mL respectively.

The objective was to evaluate the effects of chemical treatment and levels of mechanical damage and the lignin content of seed coat on soybean seed physiological quality. Two soybean cultivars were used: BMX Lança (58I60 RSF IPRO) and BMX Zeus (55I57 RSF IPRO), with different levels of mechanical injury identified by the tetrazolium test. The chemical treatments used were: control; Carbendazim + Thiram; Carbendazim + Thiram + Dry Powder; Imidacloprid + Thiodicarb; Imidacloprid + Thiodicarb + Dry Powder. A completely randomized design was used, in an 8 × 5 factorial scheme (Types of Samples × Seed Treatment). Physiological quality was evaluated by germination, primary root length, seedling dry mass, accelerated aging and seedling emergence tests. Also, the lignin content in seed coat, one-thousand-seed weight and uniformity test were performed. Data were submitted to analysis of variance (F test) and the mean comparison by the Tukey’s test (p < 0.05). Cultivars showed differences in the tegument lignin content. The treatment with Imidacloprid + Thiodicarb + dry powder promoted greater reduction in seed physiological potential, intensifying in seeds with more severe damage levels. The lignin content in soybeans seed coat influences the occurrence of mechanical injuries. Seeds with greater intensities of mechanical damage are more susceptible to phytotoxic effects promoted by chemical treatment, since such effects are intensified with the incorporation of dry powder in the seed treatment.
