Recent debates regarding marketization have focused on the relationship between the state and the market, while the grassroots and their everyday experiences have arguably been understudied. In this paper, we study marketization with the example of land marketization in China. Out of concern for the grassroots’ perspective, we investigate Chinese farmers’ perceptions with regard to stable land ownership of farmland, which are essential for land marketization in the backdrop of intensive land use conversion in China’s urban periphery. Approximately 1200 farmer households were interviewed around 12 cities in mainland China. An ordered probit regression analysis of the survey results reveals a series of factors that explain the individual farmers’ preference for stable land ownership. Among others, the decreasing size of farmer household and rural women’s insecure property rights in farmland are identified as two grassroots-based characteristics underpinning China’s ongoing transition to a more market-based farmland use institution. An important theoretical implication of our research is that the mainstream literature perhaps over-attributes China’s marketization to the state and the market, while under-evaluating the spontaneous support from bottom-up.

Purpose Transtibial pullout repair improves the clinical outcomes of medial meniscus (MM) posterior root tears (PRTs); however, reducing MM extrusion remains challenging. Thus, the purpose of this study was to examine the role of additional posterior anchoring (PA) during pullout repair in reducing the severity of MM extrusion compared to pullout repair alone. Methods Patients who underwent pullout repair with two-cinch stitches (TCS) only or TCS combined with PA (TCSPA)-deployment of an additional suture anchor in the posteromedial corner of MM-were included retrospectively. MM medial and posterior extrusion (MMME and MMPE), MM extrusion and remaining volume (MMEV and MMRV), and corresponding ratios were evaluated pre-operatively and three months post-operatively using a three-dimensional meniscal model at 10 degrees and 90 degrees of knee flexion and compared within and between groups. Results A total of 15 and 16 patients treated with TCS and TCS-PA, respectively, were enrolled. At 90 degrees knee flexion, both techniques significantly reduced MMPE (TCS: 4.2 +/- 0.7 mm to 3.5 +/- 0.6 mm, p < 0.05; TCS-PA: 3.7 +/- 0.8 mm to 2.8 +/- 0.7 mm, p < 0.05) at three months post-operatively. TCS-PA reduced MMPE more significantly than TCS alone (p < 0.05). Only TCS-PA significantly improved the MMEV and MMRV ratios (39.6 +/- 8.9% to 28.1 +/- 6.0%, p < 0.05 and 60.4 +/- 8.9% to 71.9 +/- 6.0%, p < 0.05, respectively). Significance was not found in all other comparisons. Conclusions Both techniques improved MMPE at knee flexion at the three month follow-up, with TCS-PA providing significantly superior results. Our findings support the evidence that the application of PA may be an effective surgical option for alleviating persistent MMPE.

According to the current situation of the sensor, a vibration signal monitoring system is proposed of automobile parts based on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and photoelectric sensor. FPGA controls the peripheral circuit and sets instructions to process the acquired vibration signal. The Serial Port Interface (SPI) is utilized for the data transmission and communication between the instruction set and FPGA. FPGA transmits the acquired data to the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) through the SPI and then backs up to the Secure Digital (SD) card for in-depth analysis. The Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is selected for the monitoring system. The sensor presents many characteristics: anti-interference, high sensitivity, lightweight, and small volume. Afterward, the FBG is used for vibration signal acquisition, and the corresponding sensor module circuit is designed. Subsequently, an Analog to Digital (A/D) conversion circuit is designed on the acquisition circuit together with the vibration conditioning circuit and FPGA peripheral circuit. In the experiment, the vibration signal is monitored in real-time through the designed monitoring system, and the changes in the Center Wavelength (CWL) of the FBG from vibration are recorded. The data are screened, and more reasonable data are produced for vibration signal processing. The vibration signal is processed through Time-Domain (TD) linear fitting and time-frequency transformation, to assess the FBG vibration sensor’s vibration response in the monitoring system.

Palygorskite was coated with a thin layer of carbon by using a hydrothermal process with glucose, in order to form palygorskite/carbon (Pal/C) composites, which were then used as a template to load polyaniline through in-situ polymerization, thus obtaining dispersed spherical shell-shaped palygorskite/carbon/polyaniline (Pal/C/PANI) ternary composites. The Pal/C/PANI composites exhibit promising electromagnetic absorption performances, which can be optimized by adjusting the content of Pal/C. In this case, palygorskite acts as a skeleton and dispersion agent, which effectively prevents the agglomeration of carbon and polyaniline. Due to the improved impedance matching and increased dielectric loss, the Pal/C/PANI composites display an optimal reflection loss of −74 dB at 6.24 GHz, with a maximum effective absorption bandwidth of 4.96 GHz. Such composites could be candidates as high performance microwave absorbers.

In this work, the +3-valent P-doped SrTiO3 has been shown for the first time to be theoretically achievable and to improve the photocatalytic performance of SrTiO3 in co-doping with metal ions. The effects of P and V doping on the electronic structure, optical properties and photocatalytic activity of the SrTiO3 system were systematically investigated using a first-principles calculation method. The results show that when V is singly doped with SrTiO3, although the band gap width is greatly reduced and the optical absorption performance is significantly enhanced, it is difficult to photocatalytic split water for hydrogen production due to the high VBM. When one electron provided by +3-valent P as a donor is transferred near +5-valent V, the orbital hybridization between V-3d and O-2p will lead to a suitable reduction in the band gap width of SrTiO3. The band edge alignment respect to water redox potentials proves that its band edges match well with the redox potentials of water. It was also found that P and V co-doping could reduce the complexation of photogenerated carriers and create a new optical absorption peak in the visible range. The calculated results imply that the P and V co-doping could improve the visible light photocatalytic activity of perovskite SrTiO3.

The volume of medial meniscus (MM) extrusion at 10° and 90° knee flexions using three-dimensional (3D) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and assessed relevant clinical outcomes at 1-year follow-up were evaluated. Twenty-four patients who underwent MM posterior root repair were retrospectively reviewed. At 10° and 90° knee flexions, the meniscal extrusion distance and volume were measured using 3D meniscus models constructed by SYNAPSE VINCENT®. The correlation between Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score, Lysholm, International Knee Documentation Committee scores, Tegner activity, and pain visual analog scales and changes in MM extrusion were assessed. No significant differences in the MM medial extrusion were observed between 10° and 90° knee flexions postoperatively. MM posterior extrusion (MMPE) decreased significantly at 10° and 90° knee flexions postoperatively. At 90° knee flexion, the meniscus volume at the intra-tibial surface increased at 3 and 12 months postoperatively. The MM extrusion volume increased slightly at 10° knee flexion; however, the volume decreased significantly at 90° knee flexion postoperatively. The change in MMPE significantly correlated with clinical scores. All 12-month clinical scores were significantly improved compared to preoperative scores. The progression of meniscus posterior extrusion and reduction of its volume at 90° knee flexion can be suppressed by MM posterior root repair. Postoperative clinical scores correlated with reductions of the posterior extrusion. Regarding clinical relevance, the dynamic stability of the meniscus can be maintained by MM posterior root repair, which is an effective therapeutic method for improving its clinical status. The low-resolution photoelectric position sensor is used, that is, Hall position sensor replaces the traditional photoelectric encoder and other high-resolution position sensors to monitor the rotor position. However, because the three-phase Hall position sensor can only output six position signals, a hardware circuit design of low-resolution position sensor monitoring rotor position signal is proposed. Meanwhile, nanotechnology has been introduced in the study of micro drive of battery electric vehicle (BEV). BEV driver has some disadvantages such as hysteresis, creep and nonlinearity, which seriously affects its application in nano environment. A nano displacement sensor is designed for the characteristics of BEV driver. The nonlinear problem of micro driver is solved through the closed-loop control of position feedback. In the test, through the verification of rotor position and current waveform, it can be proved that the method based on photoelectric position sensor and rotor position signal monitoring can ensure the low deviation of rotor position calculation and correct output signal of three-phase photoelectric position sensor. The decoupling performance of vector control is verified by 3/2 transformation. In the displacement detection of micro driver, the designed nano displacement sensor has higher resolution and its performance is better than that of the previous three generations of displacement sensors.

Recently, transtibial pullout repair of the medial meniscus (MM) posterior root tear (PRT) has become widely accepted and provides satisfactory clinical outcomes. Widening after cyclic loading or ultimate failure load using different suture materials and configurations has been studied. However, no study has compared the clinical outcomes using different suture materials. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes after performing MMPRT pullout repair using different suture materials. We hypothesized that better clinical outcomes would be achieved using ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) tape compared with a normal polyester suture. Thirty-seven patients who underwent MM posterior root repair between November 2019 and May 2020 were retrospectively investigated. Pullout repair was performed using a hollow no. 0 polyester suture (n = 14) and UHMWPE tape (n = 23). Clinical outcomes were assessed preoperatively and at 1 year postoperatively, using the Lysholm knee score, Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score, and visual analogue scale (VAS) pain score. The meniscal healing status was assessed using an arthroscopic scoring system (range: 0–10). All clinical scores were improved significantly in both groups. However, significantly higher meniscal healing scores and decreased VAS pain scores were observed in the UHMWPE group (7.3 ± 0.9 and 7.7 ± 11.3, respectively) than in the polyester group (5.6 ± 2.1 and 18.4 ± 18.6, respectively; p

Cellulose can be dissolved in ionic liquids (ILs) and it can be recovered by adding anti-solvent such as water or alcohol. Besides, the regenerated cellulose can be used for textiles, degradable membranes, hydrogels/aerogels, etc. But the regenerated mechanism of cellulose remains ambiguous. In this work, a Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculation is reported for the cellulose regeneration from a cellulose/1-n-butyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate (BmimOAc)/water mixture. To investigate the microcosmic effects of the anti-solvents, we analyzed the structures and H-bonds of BmimOAc-nH2O and cellobiose-ILs-nH2O (n = 0–6) clusters. It can be found that when n ≥ 5 in the BmimOAc-nH2O clusters, the solvent-separated ion pairs (SIPs) play a dominant position in the system. With the increasing numbers of water molecules, the cation-anion interaction can be separated by water to reduce the effects of ILs on cellulose dissolution. Furthermore, the BmimOAc-nH2O and cellobiose-ILs (n = 0–6) clusters tend to be a more stable structure with high hydration in an aqueous solution. When the water molecules were added to the system, H-bonds can be formed among H2O, the hydroxyl of cellulose, and the oxygen of OAc. Therefore, the interactions between cellobiose and ILs will be decreased to promote cellulose regeneration. This work would provide some help to understand the mechanism of the cellulose regeneration from the view of theoretical calculation.

In this paper, light and ultra-thin coal-based carbon cobalt composites (CBC/Co) with excellent microwave absorbing properties were synthesized by using an in situ method from anthracite. The phase composition and chemical composition of the samples were characterized by using X-ray diffraction (XRD). Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) results indicated that the surface of the composite is covered with lamellar stripes that have a large number of macropores. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) spectra showed that oxygen-containing functional groups in the CBC/Co composite gradually disappeared. The introduction of cobalt improved impedance matching of the composite. Since the CBC/Co composite has both dielectric loss and magnetic loss, it showed enhanced microwave absorption performance. The composite with a C/Co ratio of 1 : 0.12 showed the optimal microwave absorption performance, a minimum reflection loss of −57.05 dB at 10.48 GHz, and an effective absorption bandwidth of 2.8 GHz, at a thickness of only 2.13 mm. It is expected that the CBC/Co composite could be a new type of lightweight and high-performance electromagnetic wave absorbing material.

Background There is little detailed information regarding benign asbestos pleural effusion (BAPE). It is frequently misdiagnosed because of lack of a standardized diagnostic approach and criteria. The present study aimed to better characterize BAPE and outline a diagnostic approach for this disease. Methods Complete clinical data of 11 consecutive patients with BAPE were prospectively collected and analysed. A multidisciplinary team (MDT) was involved in discussing the suspected cases of BAPE. The team was comprised of thoracic physicians, radiologists and pathologists. A multidisciplinary practical diagnostic approach for BAPE was introduced. Results Six patients had respiratory symptoms, but another 5 were asymptomatic. All the patients had an asbestos exposure and the median duration was 23.9 years (rang, 12-36 years). The median level of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), adenosine deaminase (ADA), proteins and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in the pleural fluid (PF) were 221.4 U/L (range, 189.8-11,325 U/L), 21 U/L (rang, 14-247 U/L), 48.3 g/dL (range, 35.2-53.2 g/dL) and 3.46 mg/mL (range, 0.84-4.54 mg/mL), respectively. Five patients had pleural plaques, 2 had diffuse pleural thickening (DPT), 1 had asbestosis, and 1 had round atelectasis. The pleural biopsy specimens showed a benign fibrotic pleura in all case. The symptoms and pleural pulmonary radiologic findings remained stable during the follow-up. Conclusions BAPE is diagnosed by exclusion. A suspected diagnosis of BAPE with an asbestos exposure should be considered, especially with the presence of pleural plaques, and/or DPT, and rounded atelectasis. The MDT-based diagnostic approach may reduce misdiagnosis.

The continuous improvement of auto-related electronic detection technology has become a new direction of the development of the automobile industry. First, the ZigBee technology is compared with other wireless communication technologies, and the advantages of ZigBee technology are analyzed. Then it is used in automobile electronic detection jointly with photoelectric sensor. The wireless sensor network (WSN) composed of photoelectric sensor is introduced into automobile electronic detection platform, and a set of information acquisition system for automobile electronic detection based on ZigBee technology is designed. In the hardware field, CC2520 chip is selected as the main data transmission chip according to the actual needs of the system. The ZigBee node with CC2520 and photoelectric sensor as the core architecture is mainly discussed. At the same time, the anti-interference design of the node is added, so that the node has the ability to collect information such as tire pressure, speed, acceleration, temperature, and humidity. In the software field, IAR Embedded Workbench is used to debug the program of ZigBee node based on CC2520+ photoelectric sensor, so as to establish coordination points and optimize network performance. During the experiment, it is necessary to build a WSN based on photoelectric sensor and ZigBee technology. ZigBee nodes have fast response speed, accurate data return, and improved transmission speed. The WSN based on photoelectric sensor +ZigBee technology can maintain good communication quality and low packet loss rate. After applying it to speed information collection, the results further verify the accuracy of data collection of WSN established in this study.

Background Medial meniscus (MM) posterior root repairs show favorable clinical outcomes in patients with MM posterior root tears (MMPRTs). However, there is no useful magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) finding to determine a functionally good meniscal healing following MM posterior root repairs. We hypothesized that a characteristic postoperative MRI finding can predict a good meniscal healing following pullout repairs. The aim of this study was to investigate a clinical usefulness of several MRI findings for estimating an actual meniscal healing following MMPRT repairs. Methods Fifty eight patients who had a posteromedial painful popping of the injured knee and underwent an arthroscopic pullout repair for the MMPRT were included. Arthroscopic meniscal healing was assessed according to the Furumatsu scoring system at 1 year postoperatively. We evaluated postoperative MRI-based meniscal healing using signal intensity, continuity, suspension bridge-like sign of the MM posterior root, and MM medial extrusion on coronal images. Postoperative clinical outcome evaluations were performed at second-look arthroscopy. Results Twenty three patients showed good arthroscopic healing scores (≥7 points). Thirty five patients had moderate/poor arthroscopic healing scores ( Conclusions Our study demonstrated that the MRI-based suspension bridge sign can predict an arthroscopically favorable meniscal healing following the MM posterior root repair. The suspension bridge-like MRI finding of the MM would be a useful indicator to evaluate the actual meniscal healing in patients who underwent pullout repairs for MMPRTs.

Background Two types of repair techniques, FasT-Fix modified Mason–Allen (F-MMA) and two simple stitches (TSS), for the treatment of a medial meniscus posterior root tear (MMPRT) were previously reported. However, whether these techniques could prevent postoperative medial meniscus extrusion (MME) progression is unknown. This study investigated and compared postoperative MME of the two repair techniques. Methods Forty-seven knees that had undergone pullout repair for MMPRT were retrospectively reviewed. These knees were divided into two groups as follows: In 26 knees, MMPRT was treated using the F-MMA technique and fixed with the knee flexed at 45° and 20 N of tension [F-MMA (45°–20 N) group], and in 21 knees, MMPRT was treated using the TSS technique and fixed with the knee flexed at 20° and 30 N of tension [TSS (20°–30 N) group]. The medial meniscus body width (MMBW), absolute MME (aMME), and relative MME (rMME = absolute MME/MMBW) were measured and compared using magnetic resonance imaging 3 months postoperatively. The Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (KOOS) subscales for clinical outcomes were compared between the two groups at 6 months postoperatively. Results At 3 months postoperatively, the aMME and rMME significantly decreased in the TSS (20°–30 N) compared to the F-MMA (45°–20 N) group. The TSS (20°–30 N) group had better KOOS subscale scores than the F-MMA (45°–20 N) group at 6 months postoperatively. Conclusions The TSS technique with appropriate tibial fixation can decrease MME soon after surgery. This may prevent osteoarthritis progression and improve clinical outcomes.

Due to geographic isolation and habitat disturbance, Qinling pandas (Ailuropoda melanoleuca qinlingensis) were divided into six geographical subpopulations in the Fourth National Survey on Giant Pandas. The habitat fragmentation hinders giant pandas’ spread and gene flow and reduces this species’ genetic diversity. Therefore, we aim to investigate whether such geographical demarcation of Qinling panda subpopulations can be reflected on the genetic level. In this study, we conduct a microsatellite analysis with 12 loci based on 90 individuals identified via fecal samples collected from March 2017 to January 2018 in Qinling Mountains. The level of observed heterozygosity (Ho) ranges from 0.330 to 0.898 with a mean Ho of 0.578; the level of expected heterozygosity (He) is between 0.288 and 0.721 with an average value of 0.529. The analysis of isolation-by-distance (IBD) pattern finds genetic distance has a significantly positive correlation with geographic distance in close distance levels (p = 0.001). To conserve the Qinling panda’s genetic diversity, measures need to be taken to help genetic exchanges between different habitat patches, especially for those with very few individuals.

With the rapid expansion and application of bright logistics technology in the field of metallurgical production, in recent years, a type of intermediate granary storage and transportation system, signified by multiple child-parent rail car system, has gradually looked in steel plants, which effectively solves the drawbacks of crane craning in the intermediate warehouse area and improves the transportation competence of shop-level logistics. However, there are not many studies on conflict avoidance strategies for such multivehicle cooperative common rail transportation system in order to improve the ability of conflict detection and active avoidance in operation of such multivehicle transportation system. This paper draws on and improves the banker antideadlock conflict detection algorithm widely used in computer process management to detect conflicts in multivehicle on common rail system and effectively evades collision conflicts detected in the system by combining dynamic priority transfer with multiobjective time window offset. Finally, the validity of the improved banker algorithm conflict detection and priority transfer time window adjustment collision avoidance strategy is confirmed through an example analysis and comparison, providing a security guarantee for the efficient and intelligent operation of such common rail multivehicle logistics system, particularly for the exploration of the logistics common rail multivehicle collision avoidance strategy in metallurgical heavy-duty workshop.

Appropriate transportation network plays a significant role in the economic development of country. The rising transport demand increases the congestion in railway networks, and thus, they become more interdependent and more complex to operate. A ground railway system is established in the reservoir area of steel plants to ensure smooth running of multi vehicle logistics transportation. In recent years, the development of the ground rail multi vehicle logistics system in the reservoir area of steel plants has been increased. However, such logistic systems need an intelligent dispatching control system to avoid the possibility of safety hazards, to follow optimal tracks and to effectively manage logistics operation. In this paper, an improved hybrid genetic algorithm is proposed to realize the decision making and control of multi vehicle scheduling. Task assignment to multiple vehicles and multi-stage subparent vehicle scheduling is performed based on the information obtained from the concerned subsection. The self-learning hybrid algorithm works on the data extracted from an improved population and suggests an optimized solution. The individual behavior and optimization process are updated by self-learning, which ensures the effectiveness of iterative evolution. The selection, cross mutation, and self-learning expert base operation methods of the hybrid genetic algorithm are optimized. The proposed system is evaluated by taking the multi vehicle logistics system of cold rolling intermediate steel depot as a case study. The improved algorithm is implemented in MATLAB and is compared with the traditional genetic and particle swarm optimization algorithms. Results of the analysis prove that the hybrid genetic algorithm of self-learning knowledge expert base is effective in solving the multi vehicle logistics scheduling optimization problem. With the inclusion of the self-learning knowledge expert base genetic algorithm, the convergence trend of the proposed algorithm is enhanced; the traditional genetic algorithm converges after 140 iterations, while in the proposed algorithm, it is reduced to 100 iterations. The evaluation reveals that the proposed algorithm is speedier than the traditional genetic algorithm (GA) and particle swam optimization (PSO); the average solution time of the proposed algorithm is 119.1 while that of GA, PSO is 137.4, 131.4, respectively. The proposed algorithm is applicable to improve the operation and efficiency of the logistics transportation system. The approach is beneficial in intelligent control of metallurgical production. The proposed algorithm has practical significance to be followed in the development of intelligent metallurgical production and logistics transportation.

Intertrochanteric fracture of femur is a common fracture in the elderly, and the number of intramedullary nails used to manage intertrochanteric fractures has steadily increased, but the evidence for the clinical efficacy of this practice is lacking. The present study retrospectively compared the clinical outcomes and imaging features of patients with unstable intertrochanteric hip fractures treated with traditional extramedullary hip screws (AO/OTA 31-A2) and patients with the same injury treated with newer intramedullary screws.Lower limb measurement (LLM) for the main results of the hip-specific tools, functional independence measure (FIM), and "timed up and go" (TUG) to test the scale and timing of the 2-minute walk test were used as secondary tools for clinical outcomes. Other detailed radiological parameters to evaluate the fracture movement, such as heterotopic ossification, and implant failure, were also recorded.There were no significant differences between the intramedullary and extramedullary treatment groups in terms of the measures acquired by the primary or secondary clinical outcome tools (P0.05), but the radiographic parameters favored the intramedullary treatment group as it showed reduced femoral neck shortening.Although treatment with intramedullary nailing resulted in better radiographic assessment results, this did not translate into better functional recovery outcomes.

Simple Summary Climate change has been regarded as one of the major threats to biodiversity by altering habitats and food sources for wildlife as well as the function of ecosystems. The giant panda is an endangered endemic species in China and a flagship species of the world’s biodiversity conservation. Previous studies mostly focused on the effect of climate change on the giant panda itself. Few studies have addressed potential niche overlapping and interspecific competition between giant pandas and sympatric competitive species under future climate change. By assessing the spatial overlapping between giant pandas and sympatric competitive animals changes under future climate conditions in the Qinling Mountains, we found that the distribution areas of giant pandas and sympatric species would decrease remarkably under future climate changes. The shifting of the spatial aggregation between giant pandas and sympatric species vary under different climate change scenarios. New protected areas may need to be planned in order to maintain suitable habitats able to promote the survival of the species to climate changes. Abstract Understanding how climate change alters the spatial aggregation of sympatric species is important for biodiversity conservation. Previous studies usually focused on spatial shifting of species but paid little attention to changes in interspecific competitions under climate change. In this study, we evaluated the potential effects of climate change on the spatial aggregation of giant pandas (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) and three sympatric competitive species (i.e., black bears (Ursus thibetanus), golden takins (Budorcas taxicolor), and wild boars (Sus scrofa)) in the Qinling Mountains, China. We employed an ensemble species distribution modeling (SDM) approach to map the current spatial distributions of giant pandas and sympatric animals and projected them to future climate scenarios in 2050s and 2070s. We then examined the range overlapping and niche similarities of these species under different climate change scenarios. The results showed that the distribution areas of giant pandas and sympatric species would decrease remarkably under future climate changes. The shifting directions of the overlapping between giant pandas and sympatric species vary under different climate change scenarios. In conclusion, future climate change greatly shapes the spatial overlapping pattern of giant pandas and sympatric species in the Qinling Mountains, while interspecific competition would be intensified under both mild and worst-case climate change scenarios.

Tofu processing residues (TPR) have received more attention as a source of bioenergy. However, their low solubility has hindered biohythane generation. Consequently, the ultrasonic and H2SO4 pretreatments were combined and compared for the first time to improve the hydrolysis of organic matter and carbohydrate and increase free amino nitrogen generation from TPR. Besides, the impact of pretreatments on biohythane generation was investigated. Under the optimal conditions of 7.54% substrate level, 8% H2SO4 concentration, 80 °C and 50 min, the coincident ultrasonic-H2SO4 pretreatment enriched the contents of soluble chemical oxygen demand, reducing sugar, and free amino nitrogen to 49675 mg/L, 26 g/L, and 1721 mg/L, respectively, greater than individual pretreatments. Also, Biohythane yield increased by 4.24–13.61% over control (389.42 ± 23.7 ml/g-VSfed). Furthermore, hydrogen yield at 42.5 ± 2.08 and 28.1 ± 1.07 ml/g-VSfed and sulfate removal efficiency at 93 and 92% were significantly improved with ultrasonic-H2SO4 and H2SO4 pretreatments, respectively, indicating acidogenic and sulfidogenic activity enhancement.

Multi-label text classification is an essential task in natural language processing. Existing multi-label classification models generally consider labels as categorical variables and ignore the exploitation of label semantics. In this paper, we view the task as a correlation-guided text representation problem: an attention-based two-step framework is proposed to integrate text information and label semantics by jointly learning words and labels in the same space. In this way, we aim to capture high-order label-label correlations as well as context-label correlations. Specifically, the proposed approach works by learning token-level representations of words and labels globally through a multi-layer Transformer and constructing an attention vector through word-label correlation matrix to generate the text representation. It ensures that relevant words receive higher weights than irrelevant words and thus directly optimizes the classification performance. Extensive experiments over benchmark multi-label datasets clearly validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, and further analysis demonstrates that it is competitive in both predicting low-frequency labels and convergence speed.

In order to make the device better capable of power supply, it is necessary to select a corresponding battery, and the lithium iron phosphate battery is favored for its excellent performance. In this study, the requirements of the lithium iron phosphate battery for optoelectronic complementary power supply system were analyzed at first, then the application of the battery in the supply system was further analyzed. Next, the structure and working principle of the battery were deeply studied, and a large number of experiments were designed to analyze the performance of the battery. It has been confirmed by a large number of experiments that the charging process of lithium iron phosphate battery is slow; the remaining capacity of lithium iron phosphate battery has a correlation with the voltage it carries. During the charging process, the internal resistance of the lithium iron phosphate battery will rapidly drop to a stable value, and the conversion of constant current charging to constant voltage charging will further reduce the internal resistance. Adjusting the battery temperature can adjust the internal capacity of the battery, that is, increasing the temperature can promote the expansion of the battery capacity to a certain extent, and lowering the temperature can impair the overall performance of the battery. In the battery AC (alternating current) impedance spectrum test, the impedance of the battery was affected by factors such as inductance, lithium ion diffusion, and internal polarization of the battery. Through the above research, the power consumption of lithium iron phosphate battery can be better understood to make better use of solar energy and provide people with stable green energy.

Variability in aboveground herbaceous biomass and its quality were studied in response to three different stocking densities during a 2-yr grazing experiment with sheep on a montane summer pasture in the Chinese Altay. We determined herbaceous cover and aboveground biomass in 16 paddocks of 0.25 ha each. Vegetation cover showed high spatial variation, prompting us to implement a randomized block design. Forage intake of one male sheep per paddock was quantified four times per grazing season by collection of total feces and estimation of diet digestibility. Sheep weight was recorded every 3 wk. Aboveground herbaceous dry mass (DM) was characterized by pronounced annual variation. Biomass quality declined with progressing season and increasing sheep density. Daily organic matter intake per sheep ranged from 0.7 to 1.4 kg, which was paralleled by a biomass removal of 710 − 1 560 kg DM/ha at densities of 8 − 24 sheep/ha. At 8 sheep/ha, animals gained weight throughout each grazing period, whereas weight losses of 40 − 100 g/d occurred at higher densities. These results challenge the presently followed concept of a fixed stocking density for summer pastures in Altay Prefecture, Xinjian, China. Such practice may result in low herbage allowances and thus deficient sheep nutrition in one year, as well as underutilization of forage resources in another. Flexible adjustment of stocking densities is also advisable for montane pastures where spatiotemporal variability, although less pronounced than in desert steppes of the Altay foothills, is nonetheless highly relevant.

Purpose This study aimed to clarify the advantages of three-dimensional (3D) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) over two-dimensional (2D) MRI in measuring the size of the medial meniscus (MM) and to analyse the volumes of MM and the extruded meniscus in patients with MM posterior root tear (MMPRT), at 10° and 90° knee flexion. Methods This study included 17 patients with MMPRTs and 15 volunteers with uninjured knees. The MMs were manually segmented for 3D reconstruction; thereafter, the extruded part separated from the tibial edge was determined. The length, width, height, and extrusion of MM were measured by the 2D and 3D methods, and compared. The MM volume, extruded meniscus volume, and their ratio were also calculated using 3D analysis software in the two groups. Results The estimated length and posterior height of MM were larger with 3D MRI than with 2D MRI measurements. The MM volume was significantly greater in MMPRT knees than in normal knees, with increasing MM height.
